Located on the 10th floor of the 3-4 Building in Nishi 4-chome, Minami 3-jo, this bar is a popular spot that has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Bars 2022." The bar exudes an authentic atmosphere and is the only establishment on the floor, making it easily accessible as soon as you step off the elevator. The friendly female bartender, Ms. Nakata, warmly welcomes guests. The seasonal cocktail using "Jabara" citrus from Kitayama Village, Wakayama Prefecture, is a must-try until around February. I was intrigued by the "Jabara Gimlet" (1,760 yen), a refreshing cocktail with a delightful aroma. The bartender offers a scent tasting to customize the drink to your liking. The cocktail is served with a charm consisting of "chocolate with Guerande salt," "dried mango and pineapple," and "peanuts from Shirako-cho, Chiba Prefecture." The beautiful flowers at the back of the counter add to the elegant ambiance. Wanting to savor a cocktail with a hint of spring in snowy Sapporo, I opted for the "Cherry Blossom" (1,760 yen), a delightful blend of Hennessy, cherry liqueur, and pomegranate grenadine syrup. The original cocktail "West Coast" (1,430 yen), made with vodka, blue curacao, and grapefruit, had a smooth and refreshing taste. Throughout the visit, Ms. Nakata provided excellent and friendly service, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. This bar is truly a gem worth visiting!

Two female bartenders are working hard. The counter has 16 seats and is quite long, so the bartenders move around a lot. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. The jazz music playing inside the restaurant is soothing. I will have one more drink here before heading home.

I visited this bar in Susukino for a bar hopping experience! It's one of the top 100 bars and the location near the arcade street is excellent. The atmosphere is really nice! I tried the "Lake Mashu in the Snow" which I was curious about from looking at Tabelog, and it was delicious! I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance.

I visited before dinner, thinking it would definitely be crowded. I was wondering what to order when I was captivated by a plate on the counter. Mojito. Various flavors. What... is that? It makes you want to drink it. I asked the bartender for a recommendation and ordered a French Mojito. What is this? I have had Mojitos in many places, but this was a new taste. The refreshing mint and the faint herbal aroma of PERNOD. I have a slight aversion to Absinthe, but it goes perfectly. Truly the number one bar in Hokkaido. I missed out.

In Sapporo Chuo-ku, Susukino, there is a bar called Du Ermitage. It is located north of National Route 36, near Tanuki Koji street. The building here gives off the impression of having many delicious spots. I tried the Jin-based cocktail from Sansmile. It was a delicious and easy-to-drink cocktail in a sophisticated adult space. The alcohol content may be strong, but it is very tasty. The atmosphere is cool and the temperature is just right, with excellent customer service making it a comfortable space. This is a place that makes you want to come back just for that. An authentic bar with excellent drinks and service. The Sidecar cocktail uses brandy to achieve a perfect balance, creating a unique and aromatic experience. The Gaia Flow cocktail was also delicious. The bartender, Ueda-san, who has experience at Tender, embodies the essence of authenticity. I would definitely want to come back here when I'm in the area.

When you get off the elevator, you enter directly into the bar, which has a long counter and table seating. I ordered the Gin-based San Smile and a fruit cocktail with lemon. I chose Lake Mashu in the snow! I picked it based on the name and photos on Tabelog. The colors are nice too. I was surprised to see that the bartender was a woman, but she did a great job. We got a business card on the way out. Nuts were served, but two plates came out for the two of us, which seemed like too much. The bill came out to a little over 8,000 yen for the two of us. It was a bit on the expensive side. Thank you for the meal.

After arriving in Sapporo, I headed straight to Pasar, but unfortunately it was already closed by 8:30 pm due to a long line of people waiting. So, I decided to go to the next bar on my list. I heard that they would be closed for the Obon holiday starting on the 13th, so this was my only chance. The bar had a calm atmosphere with a friendly female bartender behind a solid counter. I immediately ordered my favorite cocktails: a Dry Manhattan and a Sidecar. The Dry Manhattan was robust and had a sharp taste, which heightened my expectations for the Sidecar. It turned out to be the bartender's favorite cocktail, and the deep lingering aftertaste and rich flavor with a sharp edge truly surprised me. It was incredibly delicious! I've never had cocktails this good before, and I doubt I'll find them elsewhere. The cozy atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

On July 5th, 2023, I tried the Sidecar cocktail (made with Cognac) at Charm, a bar in Sapporo. It was served with nuts and dried fruits. The owner and bartender, Mr. Nakata, is a pioneer among female bartenders in Sapporo and has a history of winning second place at the national competition held by the Japan Bartenders Association.

When I stayed in Susukino, I visited this bar. When you go up to the 10th floor of the building, the entire floor is occupied by this bar, with a spacious interior and a long counter seat that is impressive. There are also table seats at the back. I visited around 6 pm on a weekday, and there was only one male customer who seemed to be a regular. I was amazed by the array of drinks lined up in front of me as usual, but I enjoyed Smoky Love, which has a smoky flavor, and the classic Cow Milk while listening to the conversations of the mama and female staff. My companion enjoyed cocktails like Snow Country, all of which were easy to drink with a soft touch and very delicious. I had a pleasant time enjoying the night in Sapporo, thank you.

Bar Do Elmita Azu, located a 3-5 minute walk from Tanukikoji Station, is a highly acclaimed bar in Hokkaido run by a female owner. It was selected as one of the top 100 bars in 2022. They do not accept reservations in advance, so you have to check for availability on the day you visit. The atmosphere is very comfortable thanks to the calm and kind female owner. I tried the Gimlet and the Talisker 10-year Highball this time. The Gimlet is a classic cocktail with a refreshing blend of sharp gin and lime, perfectly shaken with a great balance of sweetness and intensity. The Highball made with smoky Talisker 10-year whiskey, recommended by the owner, had a fantastic aroma typical of quality whiskey that lingers in the nose. Surprisingly, even on weekends, there are empty seats, making it a welcoming bar where you can easily drop by. Definitely worth a visit! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Even after several years, the place still feels welcoming as if no time has passed. I've heard that the female bartender here is a pioneer, and while her skills are top-notch, there's no sense of intimidation. It's not about her being a woman, but simply the comfortable atmosphere she creates. I tried the Snowdrop cocktail, which had a cherry blossom aroma, sansho pepper, and Japanese craft gin.

First, I thought of stopping by this bar before dinner. As soon as you get off the elevator, the shop is right there. The Gin Fizz has a crisp taste with the sweetness toned down. You can feel the master's dedication. For the second drink, a cocktail made with Cafe Gin that is refreshing. Enjoying it in the atmosphere of the time-marked shop. And so, the beginning of the night in Sapporo.

Duelmitage Sapporo, located just above Sushidokoro Arima, is the number one bar on Tabelog as of May 26, 2023. They have an amazing selection of whiskies, including Lagavulin Islay and Kilchoman. A female sommelier runs an authentic bar. It's a bit on the expensive side, but the high-quality atmosphere allows you to relax and unwind. I tried the Snowdrop and Sidecar cocktails. Both were delicious, but the Sidecar stood out as a unique and exceptional drink. It was a wonderful bar, and I would love to visit again.

In Susukino, there is a bar called Bar de Ermitage with female bartenders. When you get off the elevator, there is no door and you enter the shop right away. When I visited, there were two female bartenders serving customers. The atmosphere of the shop was great, and they had a wide variety of drinks. I had a good time there.

I visited "Do Elmita Adju," which was selected as one of the "Bar Top 100" in the 2022 Tabelog guide. The restaurant is located in Sapporo, Hokkaido. It is situated on the 10th floor of a building, just a 3-minute walk from the tram stop "Tanukikoji Station." As the elevator doors opened, I was greeted by a bar setting, which felt like entering a different world. The place had a long counter and table seating in the back. Established in 1982, this is the pioneering bar of Sapporo's female bartender, Ms. Nakata. The drinks I tried were as follows: - Sidecar: I ordered this drink after hearing that it's best enjoyed here. It uses brandy and has a strong alcohol taste. I savored the flavor slowly, being careful not to be deceived by the lemon aftertaste. - Orange Cocktail: This cocktail had a light and easy-to-drink taste. I thought even those who are not used to alcohol could enjoy it. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

After eating, I was invited to a bar and went to "Do Elmita Azu" based on the reviews on Tabelog. I was surprised to see that it had a very high rating. On that day, there was a female staff member working alone and she was doing her best. She seemed to like brandy, so she made a cocktail with a strong brandy flavor for me. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Do Elmitaaju in Hokkaido, a place I had been curious about for a while. I was able to easily get a seat as there were some available early on. The middle-aged female bartender was very friendly and easy to talk to. I asked for the bartender's choice for my first drink, and she made me a Martini. It had a sharp taste that was fitting for a first drink. For my second drink, I had a recommended straight whiskey from Yoichi. It was a whiskey made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Taketsuru and Rita, with a sweet apple aroma and a very smooth taste. I was told it was not available at regular prices, so I was glad I could try it here. The atmosphere of the place was great, and the staff and other customers were also very pleasant. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

BAR located about a two-minute walk from Sapporo City, Sapporo City Streetcar/Tanukikoji Streetcar Stop in Hokkaido. I visited for the first time in over 10 years. Despite the early time (before 8:00 PM), about 80% of the seats were occupied and the place was bustling. I ordered a Teconic. The tequila used was Olmeca Reposado, which had a matured flavor to it. I enjoyed it slowly while snacking on the appetizers. The flavor of tonic and lime paired well with the dried fruits of the appetizer. I intended to have a Matador for my second drink, but they had run out of pineapple juice, so I went for a Gimlet instead. The gin used was Tanqueray. Mr. Nakata, the bartender, mentioned that the taste of Tanqueray had changed, so he was using a blend of "something" to bring it closer to the original flavor. When I asked what he was using, he jokingly replied, "It's a trade secret." This Gimlet had a short and light shake, giving a straight and strong gin taste. I would definitely like to visit this place again. Thank you for the meal.
