I noticed something when I was writing a review. The rating has gone up to 3.71!! When I first reviewed this place, I think it was around 3.5. And my post was 3.4 with 4 likes... haha. Did I level up my soba experience? 3.4 → 4.2 → 4.7 → 4.7. The more I eat, the more delicious the soba tastes. "Shinozaki" seems to have a charm that you can feel more and more as you get to know soba, visit more often, and even go for drinks at night. In my review with 4 likes, I wrote about the soba having sharp edges, a chewy texture, and a slightly rough appearance when made. As a soba novice, understanding the importance of the sharp edges, chewy texture, and rough appearance (correctly called "randomly cut") was a valuable lesson from senior reviewers. Now, onto the order... Tempura Soba for 1400 yen. This is for lunch, can you believe it? haha. Great cost performance, deliciousness, hidden attention to detail, and most importantly, thoroughly enjoying the soba, tempura, and soba-yu. Definitely deserves to be among the top 5 in Hokkaido. This may become an even more renowned restaurant in the future.

I was looking for a restaurant near the Hotel Refinat where I was staying, where I could have a drink and a light meal. I searched for a nearby soba restaurant on Google and went there. I ordered beer and tempura seaweed, which was recommended for today. The sake was also delicious. The soba noodles with seaweed were amazing, the broth was really tasty. I highly recommend this place, it was a great meal. Thank you! D Works Uniforms

Located on the basement floor of a building, this place is easy to miss. I came here because I wanted to eat delicious soba with a great broth. The chikuwa tempura was original and tasty. They have a variety of Japanese sake options and different ways to enjoy them. Everything here feels fresh. The thick noodles in the seaweed soba were excellent and delicious. Highly recommended.

The tempura soba was delicious. The broth, wasabi, and green onions were very good. The wasabi was mildly spicy and had a strong aroma, which was particularly nice. The soba noodles were on the thicker side, with a chewy texture. The flavor was strong rather than subtle, which was not really to my liking. The tempura was all delicious. The flavors of the ingredients really stood out. The shrimp was small, but had a firm and flavorful texture. The eggplant, chicken, and other tempura were also tasty. For the price, getting 2 shrimp, burdock root, bell pepper, eggplant, sweet potato, and chicken tempura felt like a good deal for soba. I am curious about trying the chicken tempura soba, duck tempura soba, and rice bowl dishes. I noticed that many people were ordering the parent and child rice bowl set...

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and I felt like going back again. It seems like the kitchen is run by just one person, so it must be tough, but everything that came out was delicious and well-made, so I felt good. It's a bit off the beaten path, so it's a hidden gem and nice.

I have only eaten here for lunch, but I am very satisfied with the firmness of the soba noodles, the richness of the soba broth, and all the rice dishes available only during lunch. The mini chicken tempura rice bowl set is 960 yen. For the soba, mini rice bowl, and salad included in this price, the cost performance is good. However, it takes time for the food to be served, so make sure to visit with some extra time to spare.

I found a high-rated soba restaurant in Sapporo. Each dish is carefully made and quite generous in portion. The soba miso has a delicious texture of soba grains with a fragrant yuzu flavor. The soba noodles are as thick as a thumb, and the final course of soba noodles in broth is also quite large, filling up my stomach.

The other day, I felt like eating soba at night, so I searched and made a reservation. The restaurant was full and I confirmed that reservations were necessary. I ordered various dishes and waited, but they took a long time to come. Each dish arrived separately, so I had to wait again after each one. The taste was excellent, but everything was too slow. I entered at 7:00 pm and it took until 9:00 pm for the meal to be served. It was tough without alcohol, to be honest.

I wanted to eat delicious soba near Daito and searched for it, leading me here. It's a retro building that has been around for a long time, and I probably wouldn't have found it if I hadn't searched. It was just past 1 pm on a weekday, so there was only one group getting ready to leave. I ordered the tempura soba with chicken tempura. The soba had a surprisingly firm texture, so I ate it carefully as I had just had dental work done. The freshly fried chicken tempura was enjoyed with both sauce and salt, but I preferred it with the sauce. It seems to turn into a soba izakaya at night, with a variety of intriguing menu items. This area is an office district, so if I were a salaryman, I would want to visit this place about twice a month. It was also convenient that they accept PayPay at this establishment.

I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. It is located in the basement of a building. I was prepared to wait in line, but luckily I was seated right away. The soba and tempura were both delicious. I will definitely visit Shinosaki again when I crave soba!

I arrived right when the restaurant opened on Friday, and was the first to sit at the counter. Despite not liking foam, I ordered a beer with extra foam, along with horse mackerel marinated in vinegar and soba miso. The restaurant quickly filled up with three groups of people. I ended my meal with a tempura zaru soba, which was delicious as always. If I hadn't been recovering from a hangover, I would have also tried the soba kakiage and yakitori, but that was my limit for today!笑

This is my first time at Shinosaki-san for lunch! There was a long line at lunchtime. It's a popular place. I ordered the "Duck Seiro for 1,400 yen." As always, the aroma of the soba is amazing! The dipping sauce is also rich and flavorful. The duck flavor is rich and delicious. The duck meat is top-notch! It's so tasty. Once again, I enjoyed my meal here! Thank you for the delicious food!

After finishing work, I went to a soba restaurant that I had been curious about. The inside of the restaurant was small and had a nice, calming atmosphere. I couldn't decide between duck soba or shrimp tempura soba, but I wanted something refreshing after work, so I chose the duck soba and my favorite tamagoyaki. The soba had a strong texture and a real soba flavor that I personally really enjoyed. The tamagoyaki at this soba restaurant always looks delicious, so I tend to order it every time. Thank you for the meal!

Located in the basement of a building facing the streetcar street. The interior has a very calm atmosphere with 3 counter seats, 4 tables for 4 people each, and 1 table for 6 people. The restroom is shared with other stores outside the shop. No smoking inside, but they provided a standing ashtray next to the entrance, which was greatly appreciated. Napa cabbage pickles with mountain wasabi "Lightly pickled" "The mountain wasabi adds a nice touch" Firefly squid with grated daikon "The firefly squid was delicious!" "The grated daikon wasn't too spicy" Grilled duck meatballs "This was incredibly delicious!" "The crunchy texture is good!" "The yuzu pepper is also good!" "I thought it was expensive, but after eating it, I understand why" Soba okonomiyaki "The bonito flakes are dancing" "The thickness is like a Korean pancake" "You can slightly taste the aroma of buckwheat flour" "It was delicious" Duck soba noodles/Extra large serving "Without any toppings, the first bite was smooth and good!" "Handmade and hand-cut, slightly thick with corners" "The aroma is nice!" "The soba broth is incredibly delicious!" "They dissolve buckwheat flour in the soba boiling water" "But you can easily drink it!" Chicken tempura soba noodles (for a companion) "The chicken tempura was delicious!" "It was for my companion, but I ended up stealing 3 pieces (;^ω^)" Genan soba shochu "Until now, when it comes to soba shochu, it was always Unkai..." "Of course, mixed with soba broth, my companion had it with soba tea" "This is delicious!" Oh, the appetizers at soba restaurants are always so delicious! Delicious sake! Delicious appetizers! Ending with the most amazing soba noodles! It was a luxurious time. Will definitely come back!

I visited around 7pm on a regular day. The restaurant has only 4 tables and a 3-seat counter, making it a cozy space. At this time, office workers are enjoying drinks after work. I ordered the large serving of soba noodles (700 yen + 210 yen), and it took about 15 minutes for it to be served. The soba noodles were gray in color, with firm and thin hand-cut noodles. Even though I ordered the large serving, the regular size seemed generous as well. The dipping sauce had a rich aroma and was slightly spicy. The toppings were green onions and wasabi. The soba broth served later was thick and piping hot, possibly mixed with soba flour. If the restaurant was a bit closer to my workplace, I would love to come here for lunch every day. It's a delicious soba restaurant that I highly recommend.

It's been a while since I had dinner here, so I'll just post a photo. I had the "Oyakodon (900 yen)." It was a bit small in portion for me, but the sweetness of the broth and the egg went well together and it was delicious. It's a shame they only serve rice dishes during lunch hours.

This is a visit to a second party. We went to a Chinese restaurant for the first party and had some light sake. We got a little bored so we decided to change the atmosphere and went to a soba restaurant. We arrived around 8 o'clock and had the place to ourselves, which was lucky. I always drink sake, and they had a good selection of delicious ones. I tried a Junmai Ginjo called Kamekami, which was really good and smooth. I had about three glasses at 500 yen each. The food was a bit pricey but I was already full, so it was not a problem. I had some refreshing cabbage with wasabi and soba miso. The wasabi here was incredibly delicious, and the right amount of saltiness in the cabbage was good too. I'm not a big fan of soba miso, but I liked it here. It tasted homemade and the soba flavor was strong. The green onions added a nice touch. When I was just the right amount of tipsy, I had the final soba dish. The classic mori soba is always a good choice. It had a satisfying taste and texture of soba. I finished all the soup too. I will definitely come back here for the final soba.

After enjoying a light drink at the Sapporo Summer Festival's "Odori Beer Garden", I decided to visit this restaurant. This year, I was really glad that the Odori Park Beer Garden was held, especially since it was canceled last year due to the Olympics. It was nice to see the lively atmosphere of the beer garden after a long time! Feeling a bit tipsy, I visited the restaurant and ordered some sake since I had already had beer. I tried the "Tenyurin (handmade Junmai) from Mie Prefecture". It had a faint acidity, a refreshing rice flavor, and was a delicious sake. For food, I had the following: - Firefly squid marinated in vinegar - Soba shop's okonomiyaki The firefly squid marinated in vinegar came with grated daikon radish, which added a nice touch. The firefly squid was delicious, and the grated daikon radish was a nice addition. The soba shop's okonomiyaki was made with buckwheat flour, giving it a unique flavor. It was delicious. For dessert, I had the shrimp tempura soba. The tempura was a bit smaller than expected, but it was dense and substantial rather than fluffy. It had plenty of plump shrimp inside. The soba was also delicious. The service was good too. Thank you for the meal! Rating: 3.57 stars

Located in the basement of a building. Visited at 11:40 on a weekday with 3 groups of 4 customers already there. By 12:00, there were customers waiting. The interior has a pub-like atmosphere with a counter and table seats, and the background music is from the TV. Ordered the lunch special "Mini Tendon, Kobayashi, or Soba (920 yen)" which arrived in about 10 minutes. Also served with salad and a small dish of seaweed. The soba noodles were a bit uneven, flat, and had a firm texture. They were delicious with a refreshing taste. The dipping sauce was slightly spicy and well-balanced. The tempura consisted of shrimp, pumpkin, bell pepper, eggplant, and a unique chikuwa, which was good. However, there was too much sauce in the bowl, soaking the rice completely. Was this a mistake? It became too overpowering towards the end. The service was satisfactory. The value for money was decent. Overall, it wasn't bad, but the excessive sauce in the bowl was a major drawback. There were many orders for chicken tempura. It seems like this restaurant takes pride in their selection of Japanese sake, so enjoying it with soba noodles beforehand would be a good idea.

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, I do not go out to drink at all in my local area! The only place I go for drinks is Mr. Saki's! I stopped by again this time! There are only a few customers, and I don't talk to anyone at all! This is it, this is it! I quietly order some food and beer! The chicken dishes! The soba noodles! Everything is delicious! I am satisfied again this time. Thank you for the meal (^^)

The restaurant has dim lighting, but all the dishes look delicious. No matter what you order, it is all tasty, but the soba noodles are still exceptional! It seems like they are currently short-staffed and unable to operate at full capacity, but I hope they keep working hard to stay open.
