5th floor of To Building, 3 Nishi 3 Minami, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Located along To Street, one block north of Susukino 36-gosen. Recently rediscovered the charm of authentic bars and have been exploring nearby options. On Monday night, visited a second bar in Susukino. Took the elevator to the 5th floor and found the bar at the front. The entrance had a circular emblem, temperature check, and alcohol disinfectant. Upon entering, was greeted by soft indirect lighting, a dignified atmosphere, and an authentic vibe. Only solo male customers were present, and I was able to enter without a reservation. The counter seats had transparent acrylic partitions, and there were also table seats. The bar was run by the owner and a young female staff member with a beginner's mark. It seems the owner had recently opened this bar after leaving Bar Yamazaki nearby. As I have been into fruit cocktails lately, I decided to start with that. *Peach from Okayama and white rum: Half a peach was crushed to make juice, mixed with Bacardi white rum for a short cocktail. The drink was creamy white with the aroma of peach, smooth to drink without fruit pulp. *Homemade raspberry and champagne: A champagne cocktail made with the owner's homemade raspberry. The bright red color was beautiful, and the champagne used was Louis Roederer. Served in a wine glass, the drink had a sweet and sour taste from the raspberry and a hint of gum syrup. *Skydiving - Blue is my favorite series: Asked for a blue cocktail, and the bartender made a skydiving cocktail with Bacardi white rum, blue curacao, and lime. Fresh lime was squeezed, creating a beautiful blue hue. The drink flowed smoothly from the peach cocktail to the rum base. *Charm - Homegrown blueberry: The bartender used large, ripe blueberries grown in-house, adding a delightful sweetness to the drink. Initially, the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, but it became lively when a group of four businessmen arrived, smoking electronic cigarettes despite the no-smoking sign. Overall, the bar had a great ambiance, but it would be nice to see a more attentive attitude towards customers when leaving, even near the exit of the establishment.

Visited Proof around 9:30 PM on a Monday. It had been a while since my last visit. Master Nakagawa was standing behind the bar. Surprisingly, it was not too crowded that evening. I ordered a Gimlet. It had a light, smooth taste with a touch of American cherry. Next, I had Tomintoul neat, with a label that mentioned Glenlivet. Adding water brought out a sweet aroma. The bar had a dignified atmosphere, but the master was humble and made it a relaxing place to be. By the way, I remembered hearing that the oil painting of the red brick building at the entrance was done by Mr. Yamazaki.

I finally visited the BAR I had been wanting to go to. As soon as I opened the door, I felt nothing but excitement! I sat at the counter and looked at the back bar. There were so many nostalgic bottles! There was even a bottle of whiskey from over 25 years ago that I remember! (laughs) I enjoyed sipping on it while reminiscing. Of course, there are still many more bottles I want to try, so I will definitely visit again!

On July 6, 2023 (Thursday), I received a cocktail charm with gin and lemon, along with dried fruits (fig, mango). The owner and bartender, Mr. Nakagawa, trained at "Bar Yamazaki" before opening his own bar over 30 years ago. "Bar Proof" has become a longstanding establishment within the Yamazaki family. The owner's gentle and courteous service is reminiscent of Mr. Yamazaki Tatsuro. You can enjoy the finest drinks in a comfortable space. It is one of Sapporo's leading bars.

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Susukino Station, BAR Proof is an authentic bar with over 30 years of history since its opening in 1990. It was selected as one of the top 100 bars in 2022. Being able to make reservations online in advance is a plus, especially on weekends when Susukino is bustling and it can be hard to find a place to go. Today, I tried the Sidecar cocktail. The perfect balance of brandy and ice creates a cocktail with a rich alcohol aroma, mixed with the sourness of lemon and the citrus sweetness of white curacao, resulting in a refreshing flavor and a satisfying cocktail experience. The atmosphere is quiet and perfect for enjoying drinks, so if you're looking for a bar like that, be sure to visit. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I stopped by before a slightly late dinner reservation. I arrived just after opening at around 6 pm, with only one other customer present. I was seated at the end of the counter. When I asked about the fresh fruit cocktails, I was told they had options with blood orange or strawberry. I couldn't decide, so I asked which one I should try first if I wanted both. I ended up choosing the blood orange. The blood orange screwdriver was easy to drink. It was a lovely bar where I could relax and enjoy one or two drinks by myself.

I visited on a regular Saturday afternoon around 7 o'clock. It was an early dinner, so I came here. I ordered a Mimosa made with Ehime blood oranges and had blue cheese as a snack. I heard from the master that they won a prize in an Amaretto contest. The drink is called Golden Friend.

The place is just a 3-minute walk from Sapporo's Nanboku Line "Susukino Station," on the 5th floor of a building. The interior has a historical atmosphere with dim lighting. Various types of alcohol are displayed near the bar counter. There are both counter and table seats. The bar opened in 1990 and has been operating for over 30 years, indicating that it is a well-loved establishment. I tried the following drinks: - Martini: The first sip had a sharp and slightly spicy taste. Perhaps the gin used is of the dry type? It was delicious. - Blood Orange Cocktail: This drink had a strong fruity flavor, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. I had a great time. Thank you for the meal.

I went bar hopping in Susukino and visited Bar Plume. The atmosphere here seemed like a place where you can enjoy well-crafted cocktails. I ordered a Martini - great taste and aroma! This is what I think a true bar cocktail should be. I recommend it for those who want to relax and enjoy their drink. Thank you for the great meal.

Located in an area with popular bars just a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway. Visited on a Friday night. The counter was full, so I was seated at a table. Was served dried fruits and nuts as a complimentary snack, and ordered a gin and tonic. Since I was at a table and not the counter, I couldn't see the bottles or the process of making the drinks, which was a bit disappointing. The dried figs were not too sweet and had a nice crunch, very delicious. The gin and tonic had more tonic than usual, but it was tasty. I drank slowly, but since the counter didn't open up, I left after one drink. Thank you for the meal.

Sapporo, Nishi 3-chome, Minami 3-jo, on the 5th floor of the Miyako Building is a popular bar that was selected as one of the "Top 100 Bars 2022." I visited on a weekend without a reservation, but since it was just after opening, I was able to get in. The bar has an authentic and dignified atmosphere, but the friendly master welcomed me to the counter. As it was my first visit, I asked for a recommended cocktail and got the "Kir Imperial" (1,450 yen). It's a cocktail made with "GOSSET" champagne and homemade raspberry, with a nice fruity flavor that goes well with the champagne. Served in a wine glass, it's a sophisticated and flavorful cocktail. The charm of the day was the "dried fruits" and "Olive from Shodoshima," the fig was particularly delicious. For my second drink, I had a "Martini" (1,500 yen). The martini was served in a chilled glass, with a refreshing dry gin taste. I also ordered a dish from the food menu, "Pickles" (650 yen) - cucumber, daikon, and carrot pickles. The acidity was not too strong, making it a great snack to pair with cocktails. Especially the crunchy daikon was exquisite! For my third drink, I tried the "Blue Lagoon" (1,300 yen). It's a vodka-based cocktail with a vibrant blue color. It had a pleasant alcohol kick and a refreshing lemon scent! The master mentioned that he used to work at the famous bar "Yamazaki." Despite being a popular spot, the master provided friendly and humble service throughout. It's a cozy bar that I highly recommend!

I couldn't find Chikusushi in 1-2 minutes even though it should have been close by due to my poor sense of direction. Feeling like my ears and heart were being torn apart, I ordered a hot wine, which was a rare choice for me. The quiet master was busy handling various tasks. There were two customers, one of whom seemed to be a part-time worker rushing out before the last subway. The atmosphere was lively with customers who seemed to enjoy their drinks, even though the space was not large. After a short wait, the hot wine arrived. It had a complex and delicious taste, like a proper cocktail. It warmed my ears and heart. For the second drink, I tried the Martini that the customer next to me was praising. It was very dry and had a strong punch to it, a standard taste of this place. It would also be delicious on the rocks. I ended the night with a Stinger, which was shaken. It was a refreshing and punchy drink that I enjoyed. While savoring my drinks, I think I may have dropped my glass once or twice, which hasn't happened in a while. I paid the smiling master and made my way back to the hotel.

Today, I had a meal with my work colleagues for the first time in a year. We started at a yakitori and Italian restaurant for our first stop, and then came here...♬ When it comes to bars, I usually order whiskey, but I wanted to try the cocktails here because I heard they were delicious from a friend. The interior of the bar was brighter than I expected. I thought they could dim the lights a bit more. We stayed for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the bartender's gentle demeanor made it a very comfortable experience. When I asked for a cocktail with a vodka base or a strawberry base, they provided me with a drink that hit the spot perfectly. It was a wonderful bar experience.

First visit to The Bar Nano Femto: located on the 7th floor, same building as the 5th floor shop, so it's convenient for bar hopping. I tried the following: 1) Havana Martini 2) Shine Muscat Caipirissima. The bartender's skills were excellent. The Shine Muscat in (2) was top-notch this season, with great sweetness and quality fruit selection. The dried apricot charm was also great. The total bill was 4700 yen, which is typical for Ginza, but I was satisfied with (2) and the charm. Personally, this is my favorite in Susukino.

Hello, this is pta1001. I went on an expedition to Susukino. The final stop was at Proof. It's great that they are open on Sundays. I couldn't miss out on the local Yoichi and Taketsuru whiskies. I had the Glenlivet and a gin and tonic, which felt like benchmark drinks. They serve them with two large ice cubes. The dried fruit appetizer was a nice touch.

For the third stop in Susukino, after 10 years, we went to Bar Proof in the same building as Shimateda. The place was almost full around 9 pm, but we managed to secure a seat. We started with a gin and tonic, then asked if they had Ardbeg Still Young and Very Young that we had tried here 10 years ago - and they did! The Very Young was the last one. It was a great moment, reliving the past with a fantastic drink. The master and staff were welcoming and the selection of cocktails and other drinks was excellent. If you're in Susukino, this is a bar worth visiting.

I visited this restaurant as part of my tour of the top 100 restaurants in Susukino. When I entered, the seating area was a bit small with only 15 seats, compared to other bars in Susukino's top 100. I ordered a Martini and a Gin and Tonic. The taste of both drinks was not particularly outstanding. The small size of the bar meant that I could hear the conversations around me, and I didn't feel as relaxed as I would have liked. Thank you for the meal!

Saturday night in Sapporo at 10pm, feeling like having a drink and going to bed, most shops are starting to close. How about trying a sophisticated bar that stays open until late at night? Right near Susukino Station is "Bar Proof," which offers a wide selection of bourbon, scotch whiskey, and cocktails. The master, who hails from the renowned bar Yamazaki, showcases his impeccable skills in a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The bar attracts a diverse crowd, including solo female patrons and young couples. Despite its chic ambiance, it is easy to enter and enjoy. I ordered a crisp Martini, which is beautifully complemented by olives from Shodoshima. The Martini is truly the king of cocktails. The night in Sapporo had an adult atmosphere. I stayed until 12:30, but they stay open until 1:00, making it perfect for sleepless nights. The cover charge is 1200 yen, and the Martini costs 1500 yen, resulting in a clear bill of 2700 yen. The master was busy, answering questions about good Sapporo soup curry restaurants, must-visit bars in New York, and what makes a good drink, engaging in small talk with sleepless customers, acting as a human Google search engine or Amazon's Alexa. Such a gentle demeanor may be one reason for the popularity of this place. A young customer innocently asked the master if they have good drinks, to which the master replied that they have expensive but incredibly delicious high-end drinks available, so it might be worth trying the pinnacle of good drinks. The price range is unknown, but it seems to be more than Nitori and closer to Otsuka Furniture, like the highest quality handmade Italian pieces. Thank you for the meal. TOP5000★ A calm and dandy master and part-time worker welcome you. There are 8 seats at the counter and 2 tables. It is bright inside. The appetizer is Shine Muscat grapes and figs♡ When I said I wanted to try something different, I was recommended a Wire, which was created during the Potsdam Declaration. There is no Wire available now. It has a sweet and amber taste with a scent of historical significance. It doesn't have an artificial peat flavor, which is nice~♡ They also have drinks that cost over 10,000 yen per glass. Wow. I wish I could have seen it, but I'm already quite drunk(∩´∀`)∩ After the part-time worker left, I had a meaningful conversation about hobbies.
