[Souvenir to take home] There is a shop in the Sapporo Mitsukoshi department store's basement that has been popular among Hokkaido residents for its offerings such as ohagi, oyaki, and onigiri. The shop is located in the basement section of the department store. Today, I visited Mitsukoshi for the first time at 10 a.m. and bought something from Sazae, probably for the first time. Since my usual bento shop is closed today, I decided to buy my lunch here. I bought Ebi Tempura Musubi, which I believe is a specialty from Nagoya. The combination of the texture of the shrimp and the softness of the batter is enjoyable. The sauce that comes with the shrimp tempura is also a nice accent. The person who came up with this idea is truly a genius. (#^.^#)

Sapporo Mitsukoshi B1F, 3-8 Nishi 1 Minami, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Sapporo Mitsukoshi, which is directly connected to Odori Station on the subway in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, has a store called Momiji Sazae in the basement. Visited on the last day of a three-day weekend after 6 pm. Only a few items left. Already on sale with 30% to 40% off. The most common purchase pattern is the futomaki and Juroku, but this time, something different caught my eye and I decided to try it. The Hokkaido octopus rice bento was priced at 560 yen, but discounted to 362 yen, 40% off! A great deal for budget-friendly options. The octopus is minced finely and mixed with ingredients like hijiki and carrots. It has a flavorful taste with a hint of dashi. It would be even better if the octopus had a stronger presence. It's nice to have a variety of side dishes. The pork tsukune is like a mini hamburger with soy sauce glaze. The tamagoyaki is slightly sweet with a dashi flavor. The grilled mackerel is well-seasoned and moist. The imitation crab tempura, kimpira, and simmered vegetables are tasty. The wasabi greens are spicy and delicious. Overall, cheap, good quality, and satisfying.

In April 2021, I visited "Sazae Shokuhin" for the first time. The founder, Tomi Nomura, started the business as "Sazae's Ohagi" at the Hakodate Asaichi market before relocating to Sapporo and expanding the store. The "Sazae's Ohagi" became popular among the Ishihara Army, and during their visit to Hokkaido for the filming of "Seibu Keisatsu," Executive Officer Kobayashi bought a large quantity and distributed them widely, which became a famous story. The business later expanded to include rice balls and attempted to enter mainland Japan, but now the stores in Hokkaido are managed by Ishiya Seika. My father loved "Ohagi," but I always thought of rice balls and rolled sushi as home-cooked meals, so I didn't buy them often. The "Jotamaki" from Sazae Shokuhin, a favorite of Mairevi's "eating too much and gaining weight," caught my attention. My mother used to make "Jotamaki" for us often. In Hokkaido, homemade "Jotamaki," "Hosopyo-maki," "Cucumber and Kasuzuke-maki," "Inari," etc., were the standard lunch for school sports festivals. We used to pack them in a tiered lunch box along with tamagoyaki and zangi, making it a family event. When my daughter was young, we also made efforts to prepare handmade bento boxes. As my mother got older, she stopped making rolled sushi. Nowadays, some families even order catered food like supermarket appetizers or KFC for sports festivals. It won't be long before services like Uber Eats or Demae-can start delivering to the sports field. The "end piece" of the "Jotamaki" is a favorite for many people. I wonder if they could sell these "end pieces" as a hidden menu item in large quantities.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is still no medicine that suits my rare disease. I have plans for hospitalization in September and January this year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, recent consultations suggest it may be around May or June. Thank you for your continued support. [March 2021] This is the 10th review, so I'll keep it brief. "Hyakumi Senna" is the name of the department store for Sazae. There are over 40 Sazae stores in Sapporo alone. In addition to department stores, they are also found in large supermarkets. They offer bento boxes, side dishes, ohagi, rolled sushi, onigiri, and oyaki. The product lineup varies between department stores and supermarkets. Naturally, supermarkets have many more easily accessible products. It is a down-to-earth and affordable store. They open stores under different names depending on the products they offer. Mitsukoshi Sapporo and Daimaru Sapporo are called "Hyakumi Senna." At Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store, they operate under the name "Nanakamado." Until spring 2015, Sazae sold their products only in Eastern Japan. Due to their sales strategy focusing on traditional Japanese sweets in the Kanto region, the company was struggling. The original Sazae company voluntarily liquidated at the end of May 2015. From June 2015, a subsidiary of Ishiya Seika, "New Sazae Food," took over operations in Hokkaido. The president, Mr. Shimada, who successfully turned around Ishiya Seika, became the president after serving as an executive at Hokuyo Bank. The Kanto stores of Sazae are now taken over by their sister company in the Kansai region, Nishi Nihon Sazae. In Hokkaido, "Sazae" has a solid sales base. I hope the "New Sazae" will do its best. When I visited Mitsukoshi Sapporo, I stopped by "Hyakumi Senna." My usual companion loves Sazae's thick rolls. This time, they bought something other than the thick rolls, which is rare (laughs). ■ Crab Rice Box Weight: 410g (after removing the packaging) The rice is seasoned with soy sauce. On top of that, there are shredded omelet, crab meat, seasoned shiitake mushrooms, baby octopus, umeboshi, and pickled cucumber. Side dishes: Grilled salmon, grilled chicken, mini ohagi, kelp rolls, mini shumai, tamagoyaki, hijiki salad, edamame, carrot, konjac stew, carrot, daikon, shiitake, okra Price: 864 yen (tax included) The "Hyakumi Senna" offers a safe and delicious taste. The "Crab Rice Box" was delicious. There is also a variety of side dishes, which are good accompaniments. Next time, it looks like it will be the usual "Thick Roll" (laughs). Thank you for the delicious meal.

It was a sudden hospitalization, but I was discharged unexpectedly a week ago. This hospitalization was supposed to be short-term, about a month, but I was discharged after about 20 days. However, even after discharge, I have been going for outpatient visits on weekdays. It has been a week since my discharge, and I have finally completed replying to comments on reviews. I am gradually able to resume responding to comments from everyone's reviews. I am grateful for the many likes on the reviews posted during my hospitalization. Your support has been a great encouragement for my recovery. There is a planned hospitalization before the end of the year, but the timing is uncertain due to the pandemic. Thank you for your continued support. In February 2021, after returning home from discharge, I immediately headed to department stores like Mitsukoshi Sapporo. I was quite busy in the hospital bed. (laughs) But I was quite tired, so I rested for a while after returning home. When I finally turned on my computer after 3 weeks, I had a mountain of emails waiting for me. From Tabelog, I received notifications about "deleting registered review stores" and "Reviewer Award 2021 Bronze Award." I also received the Bronze Award in 2020, but I had given up on it because I was hospitalized for a full 2 months in 2020. It was an unexpected award for two consecutive years. I am grateful for your support. This is my 9th review, so I'll keep it brief. "Hyakumisen" is a store name for Sazae department stores. There are over 40 Sazae stores in Sapporo alone. Besides department stores, they are also present in large supermarkets. They offer bento boxes, side dishes, ohagi, rolled sushi, onigiri, and oyaki. The product lineup varies between department stores and supermarkets. Naturally, supermarkets have more easy-to-buy products. It is a store that is reasonable and accessible to the general public. They have different store names depending on the products they offer. In Mitsukoshi Sapporo and Daimaru Sapporo, it is called "Hyakumisen." In Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store, it is called "Nanakamado." Until spring 2015, Sazae was selling in the eastern part of Japan. Due to the sales policy of specializing in Japanese sweets in the Kanto region, the business was struggling. The original Sazae company voluntarily liquidated by the end of May 2015. From June 2015, a subsidiary of Ishiya Seika, "New Sazae Food," took over the business in Hokkaido. Mr. Shimada, who successfully rebuilt Ishiya Seika, became the president, leaving his position as executive vice president of Hokuyo Bank. The stores in the Kanto region are now taken over by their sister company, Nishinippon Sazae in the Kansai region. In Hokkaido, "Sazae" has a solid sales base. I hope "New Sazae" will continue to do well. When I visited Mitsukoshi Sapporo, I stopped by "Hyakumisen." My usual companion loves Sazae's futomaki. By chance, the day of our visit was a service day for my companion's favorite "kamimaki." ■ Kamimaki Weight: 387g (after removing the packaging) A common futomaki, a simple and affordable one. A staple product of Sazae, also sold in supermarkets. Inside, there are kanpyo, shiitake mushrooms, pickled ginger, tamagoyaki, and cucumber. Price: 594 yen (tax included) → 537 yen (tax included) It was a delicious and safe taste from "Hyakumisen." Next time, it seems like it will be "kamimaki" again. (laughs) Thank you for the delicious meal.

Located in the basement of Sapporo Mitsukoshi, Sazae Shokuhin offers a variety of onigiri under the name "Hyakumi Senna." I have visited this place multiple times in the past, but this is the first time I took a photo to share. They also sell bento boxes, but I have only purchased onigiri here. This time, I bought the "red salmon" and "ume" flavors (2 for 356 yen). They have a wide variety of onigiri at reasonable prices. Compared to convenience store onigiri, these ones have a homemade feel and are larger in size, making them a great choice for onigiri lovers.

I got some sale items before the store closed, and I was able to buy them at a very cheap price, so lucky! When it comes to Sazae, "ohagi" is famous! Sazae is also famous as a gift for the Ishihara Army. With the dissolution of the Ishihara Army and the passing of Tetsuya Watari (tears), the ohagi loved by the Ishihara Army is delicious, but my favorite is Sazae's shrimp tempura musubi! I often buy Sazae's rice balls too. The bite-sized sushi rolls with pork cutlets are easy to eat. The salad rolls next to the shrimp tempura musubi were tuna mayo. Tuna mayo is delicious too. I used to eat Sazae's rice balls a lot, so the taste is somehow comforting. When it comes to shrimp tempura musubi, it's a specialty of Aichi, but I prefer the taste of Sazae's shrimp tempura musubi over the ones I've eaten in Aichi.

It's been a while! I visited Mitsukoshi department store. I was thinking of getting the oyster bento at the event they were having, but ended up buying a half-size Datemaki (rolled omelette) from Momiji Senka instead. It looked delicious with its big shrimp tempura on top. The Datemaki had a good volume even though it was half-size. It had a sweet egg coating with a nice egg flavor. It was filled with ingredients like shiitake mushrooms, cucumber, fried tofu, and ginger. The combination of crispy seaweed, crunchy cucumber, and the spicy kick of ginger was really good. I think it was my first time seeing fried tofu in a Datemaki, but it was a nice addition. Momiji Senka offers a variety of items from skewers to rice balls, bento boxes, and traditional Japanese sweets. It seems like they can cater to different occasions. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Welcome.---------- November 2019 ----------When I thought it was "wakame rice with cod roe," there was cod roe inside~~~Good saltiness, I wish there was more tuna mayo and bonito flakes. The seaweed part has a nice soy sauce flavor soaked in it. When I thought it was "shrimp tempura," it turned out to be chicken cutlet. The chicken breast is firm and well-cooked. I love the grilled rice balls, especially the ones with salmon inside. The mixed rice ball had a variety of ingredients, thin fillings with colorful and deep flavors. The wide range of ingredients keeps it interesting, and the traditional taste never gets old. Ants are classified as a separate type of food from Tom.

I have used "Hyakumi Sennna" many times in the past. In short, it is a different brand of "Sazae", but the products look almost the same. However, they do not offer taiyaki here. They have a wide variety of products such as dango, daifuku, ohagi, onigiri, and sushi. Recently, it seems like I have been buying more wagashi like daifuku and dango than meals. This time, I bought one "kusamochi" and one "mame daifuku". They are individually packaged and displayed without being in a glass case, making it convenient to shop quickly. Every time I visit, I feel that I prefer the firm texture of the mochi, but the bean paste is a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. I personally like the slightly firm beans in the mame daifuku. I will visit again at one of the locations. Thank you for the meal.

Welcome.---------- June 2019 ----------Grilled Rice Ball with MisoThe surface is firmly grilled, with a savory miso aroma. When you open it, surprise! There's salmon inside, grilled style maybe? It's a rice ball with various fillings like fried tofu, tempura flakes, or salmon...Premium Red SalmonWhen you open it, there's a huge chunk of moist and fresh salmon with a gentle saltiness. You can really taste the salmon.IkuraWhen you open it, the pearls come rolling out like a treasure chest. Each pearl pops in your mouth. If you eat four, you'll feel quite satisfied.

My computer broke down, but some of the data was recovered. I can finally upload some photos. It seems there is a high possibility of a virus infection during the earthquake on September 6. I may not be able to post reviews for a while, but I just wanted to let you know that it's not due to hospitalization. Likes and comments will be done gradually once I can. [October 2018] This is the 8th review, so I'll keep it light. Sazae has over 40 stores in Sapporo alone. They are found in department stores and large supermarkets. They offer bento boxes, side dishes, and also traditional Japanese sweets like ohagi, rolled sushi, onigiri, and oyaki. The product lineup varies between department stores and supermarkets. Supermarkets tend to have more affordable items. It is a down-to-earth and reasonably priced store. They have different store names depending on the products they offer. "Hyakumi Sensai" is the name used in Sazae's department store locations. In stores like Mitsukoshi Sapporo and Daimaru Sapporo, they use "Hyakumi Sensai". At Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store, they operate under the name "Nanakamado". Until spring 2015, Sazae was selling their products in Eastern Japan. Due to poor performance in selling traditional Japanese sweets, the company voluntarily liquidated in May 2015. From June 2015 onwards, a subsidiary of Ishiya Seika called "Shin Sazae Shokuhin" took over the business in Hokkaido. The former vice president of Hokuyo Bank and the president of Ishiya Seika, Mr. Shimada, took over as the president. The stores in the Kanto region were taken over by the sister company Sazae in the Kansai region. "Sazae" in Hokkaido has a solid sales base. I hope the "Shin Sazae" company will do well. When I visited Mitsukoshi Sapporo, I stopped by "Hyakumi Sensai". My usual companion loves Sazae's thick rolled sushi. The "Daimyo Maki" is the thickest rolled sushi at Hyakumi Sensai (Sazae). It is probably the thickest rolled sushi I have ever seen, usually only found in department stores. ■ Daimyo Maki Weight: 740g (after removing the packaging) Previous: 800g (after removing the packaging) Twice the weight of regular rolled sushi, with double layers of seaweed. The ingredients include thick omelette, kampyo, seasoned mountain vegetables, pickled ginger, bamboo shoots, fried tofu, and sakura denbu, offering a variety of flavors. It is a very satisfying thick rolled sushi. Price: 1188 yen (tax included) The "Daimyo Maki" is very filling with just one piece. My usual companion and I can be full with just one piece. It is definitely not suitable for Setsubun (bean-throwing ceremony) rolls (laughs). For those who are confident, why not try it for next year's Setsubun rolls? Just be careful not to choke. It might be quite challenging for women. The "Daimyo Maki" costs 1188 yen for 740g. It is 1.61 yen per gram. The "Jotaimaki" costs 594 yen for 400g, which is 1.49 yen per gram. The price per gram is almost the same, but the variety of ingredients is very pleasing. Sazae offers a delicious dining experience at a reasonable price. It is very convenient for everyday use. The department store's "Hyakumi Sensai" at Mitsukoshi Sapporo offers a slightly more luxurious Sazae experience. I look forward to trying a different rolled sushi next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

On a certain holiday, amidst the aftermath of an earthquake, I started walking from my home to avoid using gasoline, wandering around here and there. As I was about to head back, I stopped by the food section of Mitsukoshi department store, particularly intrigued by the Sazae's ohagi shop. On a Sunday afternoon, as I made my way around the food section, there were some vegetables available, but I wondered if there were still some fruits in stock. The bakery had already sold out, and there was a long line at the bagel shop and the major bread shop. The variety of cakes was limited, and it didn't seem to match the demand at that time. However, in comparison to those, there seemed to be a wide variety of bento boxes and side dishes here. From the menu that day, I bought some side dishes from the Motoi showcase, as well as some rice dishes that caught my eye. The "Premium Umeboshi (185 yen tax included)" was truly premium! The large umeboshi was not only sour but also had a rich flavor, and the nori was also very fragrant. The "Shrimp Tempura (210 yen tax included)" was different from the Nagoya specialty, but this shrimp tempura was large and matched well with the sweet and salty soy sauce-based sauce. The "Mini Futomaki (185 yen tax included)" was unclear if it was "mini" or "thick" from the product name, but it contained kanpyo, tamagoyaki, cucumber, and pickled ginger, and whether you like vinegared rice is a matter of personal preference. The "Sansai Inari -> Crispy Plum" had a large inari sushi with...hmm? This is... I ate it, but it seems like the mother made a mistake and put crispy plum instead of mountain vegetables, but personally, it was not a problem. Suddenly, in the department store's food section, the shop with easily affordable prices had a lot of customers. Thank you for the meal.

After the major earthquake, this review is the ninth emergency review related to the Hokkaido earthquake. On September 6th at 3:08 am, I woke up to my care bed shaking. The earthquake was immediately apparent. The power went out shortly after, but before that, I managed to buy some food at the Seibu Iremu Sapporo Ryukoku Gakuenmae store. I was able to buy bread, but there were no side dishes. The items in the freezer were already starting to thaw. The "Garigari-kun" ice cream in the freezer had turned into a watery sherbet-like state. During the blackout, there was no peace of mind, even when it came to meals. There were still aftershocks felt a few times every hour. It was a time filled with anxiety. What brought some relief during this time was the Shine Muscat grapes from Yamagata prefecture. On September 6th and 7th, all department stores in Sapporo were closed. Mitsukoshi Sapporo reopened on September 8th, and the food section on the basement floor was bustling with customers from the early morning. About 60% of the stores were open for regular business, while the remaining 40% were only selling limited items. Some stores were completely closed. Nada Man Kitchen had no bento boxes available, only pre-made items like bagged oden. Mozan was only producing and selling about 5 types of bread. Juice Garden did not have soft-serve ice cream available but I ordered a Dragon Pine fresh juice. At Hyakumisasane, the variety and quantity of items were reduced, but they still had products available. My usual companion loves futomaki sushi, so we bought the "Daimyo Maki" which is the thickest futomaki at Hyakumisasane. It weighs 800g and is double the weight of a regular futomaki. It is filled with various ingredients like thick omelette, kanpyo, seasoned mountain vegetables, pickled ginger, bamboo shoots, fried tofu, and sakura denbu, providing a satisfying eating experience. The price was 1188 yen (tax included). The Daimyo Maki is very filling, and one roll is enough for two people. It is not suitable for Setsubun Ehomaki. The recovery process in Mitsukoshi Sapporo's food section seemed like it would take a few more days to fully restore. It will likely take some time before daily life fully returns to normal. The blackout was a reminder that such events should not be taken lightly.

After a break of almost 4 years due to hospitalization, there have been various system changes on Tabelog, making it unclear how to review restaurants compared to before. This review will be brief as it is my 6th review. Sazae has over 40 stores in Sapporo alone, located in department stores and large supermarkets. They offer bento boxes, side dishes, as well as sweets like ohagi, rolled sushi, onigiri, and oyaki. The product lineup differs between department stores and supermarkets, with supermarkets offering more accessible items. It is a budget-friendly, down-to-earth store. Depending on the products, they operate under different names. "Hyakumisen" is the name used in department stores. In stores like Mitsukoshi Sapporo and Daimaru Sapporo, it is known as "Hyakumisen". In Marui Imai Sapporo, it is called "Nanakamado". Until spring 2015, Sazae only sold in Eastern Japan. "Sazae" in Hokkaido has a solid sales base. I hope "New Sazae" will continue to do well. When I visited Mitsukoshi Sapporo, I stopped by "Hyakumisen". My usual companion loves Sazae's futomaki rolls. Especially the Mitsukoshi Sapporo exclusive "Hassaimaki", which they particularly love. I decided to buy the "Hassaimaki". The "Hassaimaki" weighs 590g and is a thick futomaki filled with ingredients like thickly rolled omelette, kampyo, nanohana ohitashi, pickled burdock, crispy plum, simmered kelp, sweet vinegar ginger, fried tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and denbu, allowing you to enjoy a variety of flavors at once. Half of the roll is filled with ingredients. It costs 890 yen for 590g, which is approximately 1.51 yen per gram. The "Joutamaki" costs 594 yen for 400g, which is approximately 1.49 yen per gram. Despite being priced similarly, the diverse ingredients in the "Hassaimaki" are very pleasing. The "Hassaimaki" is a type of futomaki that you can't make at home due to the variety of ingredients. At 890 yen, it feels cheap considering the taste and quality. It is very convenient for everyday use. The "Hyakumisen" at Mitsukoshi Sapporo offers a slightly higher price range and quality compared to supermarket tenants. You can enjoy a slightly more luxurious Sazae experience. I will definitely go for the "Hassaimaki" again next time. It was delicious, thank you.

When I went to Mitsukoshi, I found a Sazae there. It's called "Momiji Senana." Personally, when I find a Sazae, I must stop by. No matter how crowded it is, I have to stop by. Today, since there are more people than usual, I have to buy a decent amount. When there are many people, I always buy "futomaki," "inarizushi," and "nattomaki" for the baggage. When I got home, I put them on the table. The "nattomaki" has whole small natto beans inside, not mashed. When I asked for some, the baggage just smiled and didn't respond. But I decided to try one while laughing. Well, it's tasty. The "futomaki" still has the smelly cucumber in it because I didn't ask for it to be removed. I just throw it away saying, "Go anywhere you want." Of course, I get scolded and told to pick it up. But the "inarizushi" is delicious as always. Sazae is on my side after all.

◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【5th Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【June 2015】Today was supposed to be the usual "Nanairo Maki" but luckily the favorite of my usual companion, the "Uwata Maki," was the complimentary item of the day. It had a simple and familiar taste. ■ Uwata Maki Weight: 405g Ingredients include kanpyo, shiitake mushrooms, pickled ginger, tamagoyaki, cucumber, etc. Price: ¥561 (including 8% tax) Today: ¥499 (including 8% tax) Price per gram: ¥1.23 Sazae, a popular item in the East, faced financial difficulties and voluntarily liquidated the company by the end of May. From June onwards, a subsidiary of Ishiya Seika called "New Sazae Shokuhin" took over the operations in Hokkaido. The former executive of Hokuyo Bank, Mr. Shimada, who successfully restructured Ishiya Seika, became the president. Sazae's stores in the Kanto region are now managed by their sister company in the Kansai region. Sazae in Hokkaido has a solid foundation. I wish them all the best. ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【4th Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆Mitsukoshi Exclusive "Nanairo Maki" 【December 2014】I always stop by "Momia Sena" at Mitsukoshi when I come here. My usual companion loves futomaki, especially the Mitsukoshi exclusive "Nanairo Maki." This time I bought it. It was a single roll in the store, but this time I had it cut into 8 pieces at the store. ■ Nanairo Maki Mitsukoshi Sapporo Exclusive Weight: 566g Slightly lighter than last time. Price: ¥756 (including 8% tax) Price per gram: ¥1.36 "Uwata Maki" was ¥561. Recently, most futomaki rolls are around 390g. Price per gram is cheaper for "Nanairo Maki." ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【3rd Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆"Nanairo Maki" 【April 2014】After a long time, I had the "Nanairo Maki" that my usual companion loves. I had it cut at the store this time. Normally, it's not cut. ■ Nanairo Maki Weight: 585g Equivalent to 1.5 regular bento boxes. It feels heavy. Price: ¥756 (including 8% tax) Previously ¥735 (including 5% tax) The taste is to our liking. It's a bit pricey, but with the variety of ingredients, it feels worth it. The price only went up due to the 3% tax increase. ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【2nd Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆Daimyo Maki 【January 2013】Second post, so I visited the food section at Mitsukoshi during Christmas and New Year. The thickest futomaki at "Momia Sena" at Mitsukoshi. I've only seen it in department stores. ■ Daimyo Maki Seaweed double-wrapped to make it very thick. Ingredients include thick tamagoyaki, kanpyo, seasoned mountain vegetables, burdock, pickled ginger, cucumber, aburaage, shiitake mushrooms, and denbu. Plenty of ingredients to enjoy various flavors. It's very filling. On sale for ¥880 during the 80th-anniversary sale. I had it cut. It's very voluminous. Not suitable for Ehomaki (laughs). If you're confident, why not try it as your Ehomaki this year? Be careful not to choke. It might be quite challenging for women. Maybe the reviewer from Kitamoto City can do it. (I recently learned that there is a Kitamoto City in Japan.) (laughs) ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【1st Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【April 2012】In Sapporo, Sazae is very famous for ohagi, sushi, bento, onigiri, and Japanese sweets. The company is divided between East and West Japan. Sazae is...

Welcome. * * * 2013.10 ↓ When it comes to sazae, it's "ohagi" |o| °д°)ノ Hello there! There seems to be a new rice ball available! It's the season for new rice, isn't it? Among the crowd of people, sneak through and, oh, while you're at it, let's buy this too. Madame Kitakurin's salt rice ball has a completely different chewy texture. The moisture content must have been just right when it was freshly cooked. Even when it cools down, the taste of the rice remains strong, making it suitable for onigiri. It's a brand that's perfect for the classic shrimp tempura rice ball. The tail of the shrimp tempura is sticking out. The dark soy sauce has soaked into the seaweed and rice, and the shrimp is moist. Hello p(^o^)q Datemaki assortment Datemaki, futomaki, red rice, and inari set. It's perfect for enjoying various flavors. The red rice is full of red bean flavor and has a chewy texture. The fried inari sushi is juicy and sweet. Datemaki is something you eat during New Year's, but it's a bit early. Warabi and kanpyo are doing a great job. Not enough words in 5.7.5.7.5 format. * * * 2012.11 ↓ When it comes to autumn, it's "the season of chestnuts and mushrooms" |o| °д°)ノ Hello there. There's still plenty of stock to choose from, so I managed to get this set without losing to the old ladies. Of course, when it comes to sazae, prioritize that thing. Once I took off the plastic, it was a carefully wrapped package that seemed like it came from a department store. The shrimp tempura rice ball, takana (mustard greens), and oboro kelp. Shrimp = that thing, too lively and plump, delicious after a long time! The oboro kelp is also delicious after a long time! The takana is nice to eat with the pickled vegetables. Inside, there's a bonus of sweetened kelp simmered in soy sauce! A fun set to enjoy. I wonder what's inside - I'm excited even though I can see it. Among them, there's one and a half inari sushi, a barrel-shaped red rice, futomaki, ohagi, and dessert. It's truly a sazae-like feeling. I couldn't resist eating the ohagi first. The large red bean paste is subtly sweet, and the glutinous rice is also delicious after a long time. The difference in thickness when cutting the futomaki is charming! Thank you for the meal.

On this day, as usual, I checked out of the hotel and headed to Mitsukoshi to use a 500 yen accommodation coupon for the "Dohmin War." It was around noon, and I saw a bento box with a 20% discount sticker on it, saying they would offer a discount for early hours. I chose this bento box that seemed to be around 500 yen. It was a takomeshi bento with takomeshi, simmered dish, rolled omelette, spinach with sesame dressing, crab stick and fish cake tempura, meatball, salted mackerel, and pickles. It was priced a little under 500 yen (probably around 485 yen), so I used the 500 yen coupon to pay for it. I enjoyed it as my dinner at home by reheating it in the microwave. It was delicious. I will definitely use their service again. Thank you for the meal. ★
