I visited for lunch and found about 20 different types of bread, both sweet and savory, all looking delicious. I had the quiche, and the egg filling was creamy and incredibly tasty! The prices are on the higher side, but I definitely want to go back! Thank you for the meal!

I visited on a Sunday around 2:00 PM. It was such a stylish shop that I was excited even before entering. They allowed only six people inside at a time, so I had to wait a little. Once I got in, there were so many breads that I was really overwhelmed. I ended up buying about five items, and they were all quite hefty, which made the prices seem reasonable. I also bought croissants and rusk, but my child ate them, so I want to buy even more breads next time. I highly recommend this shop! 😊

In this standing bar bakery, you can enjoy drinks along with your bread. The blackboard inside features a menu of pintxos and an impressive array of breads on display. Both types of bread are substantial and very stylish. Breads are continuously baked in the workshop at the back of the store and brought out to the front. If you're lucky, you might encounter freshly baked bread! The selection includes Danish pastries, hard breads, savory breads, and more. The chocolate brioche is priced at ¥350 and has a moist texture with a crunchy sugary surface. It contains chocolate chips, offering a gentle sweetness. As Christmas approaches, stollen and other seasonal treats are also available for sale.

I went to the stand on Friday night. The interior was very stylish, and each piece of bread was also fashionable! It was really delicious, and I enjoyed it. Since I went around 7 PM, there were fewer breads available, but there were always customers coming in to buy bread, as if they were stopping by after work. It was a popular bakery. My friends and I promised to come back next month and then headed home.

The interior of the shop is very stylish, and you can smell the delicious aroma of bread wafting from outside. I thought the prices were a bit high at first, but each piece of bread is quite large, so it was worth it! I was also pleased to see that there were sets of yesterday's baked bread available for a good price next to the register. I purchased brioche and ciabatta, and they were fluffy and really tasty!

In Kobe, there’s a popular bakery with a stylish exterior that makes you want to take photos! The bread is arranged nicely, and there are also baked goods available. I bought a carrot cake, which was large, moist, and fluffy—absolutely delicious! It seems that from 5 PM, they switch to standing drinks with bread as snacks!

This bakery is a perfect match for my preferences. Today, I bought ciabatta, croissant, orange croissant, brioche, sausage brioche, and raisin, cranberry, and walnut brioche, along with gorgonzola cheese with honey. The total was 2,590 yen for six items. The lineup is generally the same each time. The brioche is so delicious that I often choose more of it. I always buy the gorgonzola cheese with honey whenever it’s available. The ciabatta has a different deliciousness compared to baguettes, making it a great side for dishes that use sauces. Each item is priced over 400 yen, which is higher than typical bakeries, but each one is hefty and offers great satisfaction. I also appreciate being able to choose the ends of the brioche according to my preference. The raisin, cranberry, and walnut brioche is new for me. It’s packed with figs and walnuts, and since I chose the end piece, the crust was crunchy. The acidity of the raisins and cranberries complements the rich flavor of the walnuts. It’s incredibly voluminous. I enjoyed the ciabatta, brioche, and gorgonzola cheese with honey together with pasta. I made ajo blanco pasta, soaking the ciabatta in the seafood-flavored oil, and it was delicious. I previously didn't try the sausage brioche, but this time I warmed it up and grilled the surface well before eating. The sausage wasn’t to my liking, but it had an herbal flavor that seemed to pair well with alcohol. The orange croissant has juicy orange on top. Everything at this bakery is delicious.

Stylish and good value. The ham platter is made by the shop next door! It was delicious~ They will warm up the bread for you, but it might take a little time for service. Since we were there as a pair, they cut the large sandwich filled with sausage in half for us, and it was incredibly tasty... The chocolate croissant wasn’t actually a croissant (laughs) but rather a flaky pastry that crumbled everywhere, making it a bit difficult to eat.

As soon as I entered, my excitement went up! There were various delicious-looking breads, making it hard to choose. We had our meal at a terrace seat, and even though it was a last-minute request, they kindly prepared a table for us. Every bread we bought was delicious. I finally found a bakery that not only looks great for photos but also has incredibly tasty bread!

The croque monsieur was delicious! It paired perfectly with coffee, haha. According to the staff, the croissant, house-made sausage bread, and canelé are popular choices. The sausage was juicy and surprisingly light, making it easy to eat! I was able to pay with PayPay too~

This is my second visit to the popular bakery "THE BAKE." During my first visit, I only purchased bread, but this time I used it as a standing bar. From 5 PM to 11 PM, they operate as a place where you can enjoy wine with their bread. You can also order some dishes from the neighboring "LE BOOZY." Here’s what I had: - Charcuterie platter from Le Boozy: 1,400 yen - Bread platter: 500 yen - Gorgonzola brioche: 390 yen - Sausage brioche: 450 yen - Wine and beer: around 1,000 yen ☑︎ The brioche breads are fragrant and pair perfectly with drinks. ☑︎ The Gorgonzola brioche pairs especially well with white wine. ☑︎ The charcuterie platter is hearty and delicious, especially when placed on the bread. ☑︎ They have a wide selection of natural wines and a variety of craft beers. Thank you for reading! If you enjoyed this, please consider giving a "like," "follow," or "save"! I’m also posting on Instagram at @kyoto_gourmetdog.

I've heard about the local bakery from various people, but I never got the chance to visit until now. It was around lunchtime, and the place had a decent number of customers. There were also more people lining up behind me, which showed how popular it is. The prices seemed a bit high at first, but the portion sizes were large, so I didn’t feel it was overpriced. The Gorgonzola bread was delicious, and I will definitely go back to buy more.

I was curious about the line at this restaurant since I was waiting at Suematsu ( *¬ω¬) My partner, Breadsone, seemed to have picked up on it too, so after enjoying some Western-style food, we quickly headed over to THE BAKE. We hadn’t really considered it before, but apparently it’s become very popular in the area recently (๑♡∀♡๑) Since I had done some research during the long wait at Suematsu, I grabbed a variety of popular and classic breads to try (*´ ³ `)ノ◎Croissant 360 yen◎Pain au Chocolat 380 yen◎Sausage Brioche 490 yen◎Bread Pudding (forgot the price) It’s true that if a place is good at making croissants, they’ll likely have great offerings all around (灬º﹃º灬)♡ The Sausage Brioche, said to be the most popular item, was especially delicious! The staff recommended that I take it home and warm it up before eating, and when I followed their advice, it was amazing ♥️ The fluffy bread was great, but the sausage was exceptionally tasty (⸝⸝⸝›௰‹⸝⸝⸝)ンマッ~♡ The Banana Bread looked like it had an incredible vibe as well, so I’ll definitely try it next time if I get the chance (*´ ³ `)ノ Thank you for the meal m(_牛_)m

I had been wanting to visit this place after seeing various reviews. It's located a short walk uphill from Sannomiya Station, in a quiet area just one block over from the main road, giving it a sophisticated atmosphere. It might be easy for people to miss it since it doesn't really look like a bakery. Although it's a bit pricey, the pastries are quite large, making them a good value for the size. I forgot to take photos, but I really enjoyed the apple pie and carrot cake. I will definitely visit again!

Stylish and chic, with freshly baked bread! The layout of the bread is wonderful. There’s a wide variety, including croissants, small cheeseburgers, banana bread, apple pie, cornet, and canelé. I visited around 3 PM, and even though the shop is far from the station and Kitano, customers were constantly coming in. This time, I bought carrot cake, sugar butter bread, apple pie, and a large pain au chocolat, and each was delicious and of high quality. It’s a place I want to return to.

I had been using this place as a bakery many times, but I finally got to visit at night as a stand bar that I had wanted to go to for a long time. I enjoyed it with three friends. The food menu is quite extensive, as items are also picked up from the neighboring restaurant’s menu. However, the drinks are generally a bit on the expensive side. Since this was my first visit, I noticed that they have wine and other options, so it seems more suitable for a second stop after a first one. I was surprised to find out that, unlike what I thought that it was just a bar at night, it’s also possible to buy bread on the side!

I went in the morning and was able to enter without waiting in line. This bakery is so stylish that it reminds me of the cute bakeries in Korea. Most items are priced around ¥200 to ¥300, making it quite affordable.

I visited a bakery nearby LE BOOZY on a weekday afternoon. There was no waiting line, and while there were a few breads available, it seemed they weren’t sold out. First, the exterior of the shop and the arrangement of the bread felt foreign. I’ve never been to a bakery in another country, but I sensed an exotic vibe. Additionally, the bread sizes were unusually large; it made me feel like I had shrunk. The mini croissant was bigger than my palm and definitely hefty. I purchased four types of bread and a pudding from LE BOOZY for just under 2,000 yen. The croissant paired well with meals, not too sweet and very delicious. The French toast was quite dense. The pudding had a slightly bitter caramel, making it suitable for adults. The cod roe bread (name unknown) had the roe turned into cream with pepper, giving it a taste that would go well with alcohol. It’s a unique take on cod roe bread that I’ve never encountered before. This adult-oriented bakery is delightful! I heard they specialize in sausage bread, which I’ll have to try next time. They also seem to have standing bar service some evenings, which I'm curious about. Thank you for the meal!

I casually walked to buy some bread after lunch; this is my second visit. Kobe is famous for having many places with delicious bread, right next to a well-known Western-style restaurant. Today, I bought a mentai (spicy cod roe) French bread and two other types (I forgot their names), totaling three items. Whenever I’m nearby next time, I'll definitely stop by to buy more since I'm a bread lover. The woman at the register had wonderful customer service and a lovely smile. Thank you very much!

Walking away from Sannomiya Station along the main road towards the mountains, you might wonder if such a residential area really exists, only to suddenly encounter a stylish building. This charming bakery shop is operated by the neighboring store "LE BOOZY", and you can peek inside from outside. In addition to a variety of standard breads, it also offers many options that pair well with drinks. It seems that on Fridays and Saturdays, they even have standing drinking options, with shelves lined with wine, adding to the chic atmosphere. During standing drinking hours, the large table displaying the bread transforms into an eat-in table, making you feel as if you've stepped into a shop in a foreign country, easily losing track of time. Today's selections include: - Pain au Chocolat: ¥380 - Brioche Chocolat: ¥360 - Baguette Mu (half size): ¥240 I felt like having a croissant-style pastry and chose the Pain au Chocolat, which has a flaky crust filled with chocolate, ensuring a delicious treat. The shop also has a version of Pain au Chocolat that is heavily coated in chocolate, which looks like a solid indulgence for sweet lovers. You can tell just by looking that the Baguette Mu is quite soft, made with a blend of rice flour, giving it a softer texture than a regular baguette. When slightly toasted, its crust becomes crispy while the inside remains chewy, making it delightful. This popular shop attracts many visitors, including international guests. If you're curious, be sure to check it out!
