2015.1.19 (added 7 images) Second visit, so I'll casually review. Two days before coming here, I stayed in Sapporo for a meetup, so my family booed at me for having a good time alone! So, as part of my family service, I visited this place. I was looking forward to the waitresses in miniskirts... I mean, I'll leave that to Kabocha-san (laughs). This time, it was two different waitresses, but both were indeed in miniskirts (^_^;) There was also a group of "perverts" who seemed to be there for that purpose (laughs). But since it was January, the level of exposure was modest ( ´Д`)=3 Haahh. It seems like summer is the best time to visit here! (laughs) That's all! If I ended here, it would turn into an "Erotic Log" instead of "Tabelog," so I'll briefly share my thoughts on the food I ate this time (laughs). This place seems to focus on customer service, but surprisingly, the food is decent! The lean tuna sashimi that my kids ate was actually fresh bluefin tuna, the sake they served was "Dassai," and the octopus was firm and creamy. The turban shell wasn't served as sashimi but as a shellfish, similar to abalone, and was satisfying. Lastly, the "Mikamikaze Pressed Sushi" I had at the end had a mayo sauce and was exactly to my taste! Let's keep this place as a reliable izakaya♪ But I think summer is the best time to visit after all (^_^;)
2012.4.19 First visit to Washoku Kitchen Mikami with my family + α (total of 6 people). This restaurant opened in 2000. Since moving to its current location from the previous one, it hasn't been that long, so both the exterior and interior are clean. The space consists of a counter and a small raised tatami area (sunken kotatsu), and the raised area can be separated by a roll screen, providing a semi-private cozy atmosphere. Located along a one-way street in Hanazono Ginza Rainbow Town, it's hard to miss. There is a coin parking lot across the street, and a parking lot about 100 meters away offers 1 hour of free parking with a meal. The first thing that surprised me when I entered the store was the staff, especially the waitress who greeted us! Super mini skirt! I couldn't help but think, "Is she a hostess?" I almost felt like requesting her!! (≧▽≦) Hahaha. Her makeup and outfit didn't seem like typical izakaya staff, and I was a bit puzzled. (Honestly, I was at a loss where to look until the end) Conclusion, I'll come back again! Since ending here wouldn't make any sense, I'll list what we ordered. Tsubo-ni (¥500) was served as an appetizer. It's called "isotsubu" and is small but tasty. It's often sold cheaply at markets or supermarkets, and I eat it at home quite often. The seasoning at home is kelp, ginger, men-tsuyu, and water. After simmering it for a bit, it's ready♪ It tastes even better the next day after the flavors have soaked in. Ankou no Tomoae (¥520) is also a favorite of mine. It's a bit sweet but the green onions as a garnish add a nice touch. It would be even better if there was more liver to reduce the dryness of the meat. Well, that's just my wishful thinking (laughs). Marugoto Ninniku Age (¥520) is deep-fried whole garlic, and it's surprisingly delicious with a salty flavor. It's fluffy inside and goes perfectly with beer! Gyoza Ninniku no Tempura & Awabi no Tempura (¥520, ¥840) It's spring! I wonder if the wild garlic is already growing naturally? It's delicious wrapped in a crispy and light batter. As expected, it goes well with matcha salt (laughs). I'm not familiar with abalone tempura, but this way of eating it is not bad either. The surface of the shell that was served alongside had a slightly emerald green color. Could it be a farmed product from the southern part of Hokkaido? I've eaten it at a hotel in southern Hokkaido in the past or received it from someone farming near Hakodate, and the liver was greenish rather than black. It's no problem to eat it tempura style. Gyutataki Salad (¥840) It was quite surprising to see a mountain of cabbage in this day and age. The owner is really generous (laughs). The soy-based dressing mentioned in the menu was ==========
