[Takeout] Established in October 1948 in Ashibetsu City, Toyotsuki Confectionery Manufacturing Wholesale Store opened a store in Tomakomai City, changed its business format in 1993 to become the first store of Food D, and later expanded to supermarkets in various parts of Hokkaido. In 2003, Toyotsuki Co., Ltd. opened a store in Nijigaoka, Kitahiroshima City. The main focus is on Tomakomai City, where there is an abundance of fresh seafood along the coast. The quality of fruits and meats is also good, with a good cost-performance ratio. The store is located along Sanban Street, about 350m from the intersection with 11-chome Street towards Sapporo. On August 5, 2023, at 4:00 PM, I visited the store for the first time since it became Food D. The majority of customers here come by car, and the store is bustling with people having a good time. I quickly bought some side dishes for dinner and snacks for reviewing since I was here. The chicken thigh meat just needs to be seasoned with salt and pepper and grilled. The ohagi rice cakes I bought were made in this store, and the slightly firm mochi made me feel reassured that there were no strange ingredients in them. The sweetness was quite mild, and I liked it. I remember there were also Food D stores in Chitose and Hirao.

The fresh sushi at the supermarket Nopporo in Ebetsu City is delicious. They have a fishmonger who will prepare the fish for you. The soy sauce is self-prepared, but there are also many other tasty Hokkaido fish available. The sushi is always delicious and reliable, usually from the direct source.
