Third time in Hokkaido, I had my eye on Furano during this gourmet trip, and stumbled upon the first Furano, a stylish and elegant Western confectionery shop in a quiet town surrounded by villas and resorts. They mainly offer puddings and cheesecakes, so even near closing time, you can feel comfortable stopping by. They were also selling products through a vending machine in front of the shop as a trial, which was interesting. Due to time constraints, I had to skip Kumagera and Blue Pond, so my visit to Furano was mainly focused on Frano Delice. I definitely need to revisit this place. I checked reviews on Twitter to select the products. The baked goods seemed interesting, but since I had already bought a lot from a capsule monster, and there weren't many reviews for the baked goods here, I managed to resist. Looking back, I should have bought at least the amount I was going to eat... So, I purchased the following: Double Fromage for 400 yen - A fluffy sponge cake with cream cheese cream and sponge cake flakes. It's a combination I haven't tried before, and it was delicious. It seemed similar to something from LeTao. It's a great product, although a bit pricey for its size. I guess they use high-quality ingredients for the cream. Next time, I want to try the chocolate one. Furano Milk Pudding for 350 yen - A creamy pudding with a harmonious blend of vanilla and milk. It reminded me of the excitement I felt when I tried the Hakone Miyanoshita Pudding. I'd like to compare it with convenience store puddings. The only drawback is that even though they provided a spoon, the spoon's length is not enough for this container, so your hands get dirty. It's important to pay attention to details like this, not just for aesthetics. Baton Fromage Marble Chocolate for 250 yen - I'm sorry to say that the storage condition might have been poor. When I opened it, it spilled everywhere. It's relatively inexpensive and has interesting flavor variations, but personally, I would recommend the other two over this one. I just realized that the prices might have been raised after tax... in that case, the pudding might actually be reasonable.
