Last Saturday, I went to Minoriya in Oorakuke. The sign is easy to spot, but the lack of parking is a drawback. It seems to be connected to a house, as there was a private residence attached. At that time, I parked in the vacant lot between the house and the private residence. When I asked the owner, he said, "That's fine~", but I wonder what will happen when it gets crowded? Everyone else parked in different places... There are counter seats, table seats, and raised seating areas. It has a lot of history. I went during lunchtime, which is from 11am to 1pm, a relatively short period. Is it more focused on dinner? It has more of an izakaya atmosphere rather than being mainly focused on okonomiyaki. The menu is a bit on the expensive side. There are many varieties of okonomiyaki, but the side dishes are quite substantial. I really wanted to try the sea urchin sashimi, but I knew I would definitely want to drink sake!! So I gave up. At that point, I thought, "Next time, let's come at night!" They warm up the griddle, and the owner (who is around his 40s?) cooks it for you. The one in the front has shrimp in it, and the shrimp looks big and delicious~♪ I was so hungry that I also ordered fried potatoes separately, and they were so delicious. Even considering the hunger, they were delicious (*´∀`). They were salty, and I thought, "I would be happy if I had beer with this." They were crispy and the children were delighted~♪ There are some reviews saying that the customer service attitude is not very good, but that was not the case at all. Maybe it was because I had my child with me? He spoke to the child in a friendly manner and chatted with me normally. Personally, I had no problem with the customer service. He also explained the ingredients to us, which was a pleasant surprise. I wonder if the atmosphere would be different at night...? When I went, the owner was very friendly and entertaining. The owner said, "The young lady is cute~. Is the old man cute too~?" I replied, "Was the old man cute?" The owner said, "Oh? Is the old man creepy?" I said, "I didn't go that far lol." We could exchange light banter like that... From the left, there is shrimp-filled, mixed, and modan-yaki. The modan-yaki has soba noodles in it♪ The size is small, but since it's a flour-based dish, it will surely fill you up. It's delicious, so you can easily eat two pieces v(o・ω・o)ノ゛ Then, after waiting for 10 minutes, it's ready! By the way, the owner cooked everything for us~♪ With plenty of seaweed and a shower of mayonnaise♪ It's impossible for it not to be delicious! It's piping hot!!! The cabbage is crunchy, and the batter is thick in the okonomiyaki. The sauce's sweet and savory balance is just right. I was full. Maybe it was because I was hungry, but it was really delicious. I want to go again. Next time, I want to try the sea urchin sashimi!!... So, I'm thinking of going at night. But it's far from my house to Oorakuke.
