Store Name: Robata and Oden Koronagirai Toyoda City Ekimae Store Account: @koronagirai Address: 5-15-1 Nishimachi, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, DIS Nishimachi Building 1F Business Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM Closed: Open year-round Phone: 050-5593-4094 Seating Capacity: 100 seats Parking: None *Information from Tabelog* This cozy robata and oden tavern opened in May this year, right in the middle of the pandemic, hence the name "Koronagirai" (which plays on the word 'corona'). One of the standout features of this place is an amazing deal where you can enjoy unlimited oden for just 500 yen (the price for cover charge)! Isn’t that just incredible? The oden broth is made primarily with kelp and is low in salt, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine through—it’s a level of quality you wouldn’t expect from an all-you-can-eat option! Personally, I found the oden to be exceptional, especially the daikon, octopus, and konjac, which were perfectly infused with the broth. While I can't stop raving about the oden, the menu has a rich variety of other dishes as well, including cold dishes, grilled specials, fried food, stews, sashimi, robata-style dishes, and yakitori. One of my favorite items was the "Garlic Butter with Water Octopus and Zucchini," featuring perfectly charred, bite-sized pieces that pack a punch with a strong garlic-butter flavor—it's a delight for anyone who enjoys a good drink. Another must-try is the "Braised Beef Tendon with Demi-Glace and Baguette." The beef tendon is so tender that it almost loses its shape, and the generous amount of demi-glace makes it a luxurious treat that you can't resist pouring over the baguette. For snacks, the "Sweet Potato Stick with Butter" is also a winner. The sweet potatoes are cut into stick-like shapes and lightly coated in butter, then served with plenty of honey. One bite, and you'll be hooked—it's a dish you should definitely order when you visit! Since this place just opened, the interior is quite clean and inviting. Many people may not yet know about it, so if you’re looking for a great spot for a date or a casual drink, this is an excellent choice! With its great cost-performance, it’s perfect for the upcoming colder months!

All-you-can-drink for 1,980 yen, all-you-can-eat oden, 550 yen for a cover charge, 869 yen for a five-piece yakitori platter, and 858 yen for salmon and ikura sushi. It was a busy time for year-end parties, and the staff was completely overwhelmed. Even when we ordered drinks, they took forever to arrive. I ended up ordering twice without getting anything. Although we had all-you-can-eat oden, they weren't replenishing it because everyone was eating a lot, and the drinks were made poorly. There was a young girl taking care of it, but she was just smiling and not doing her job. The receipts were piling up, and there were multiple complaints in the dining area. I had to ask several times about the drinks during an hour, and many customers were getting frustrated. I was really looking forward to the salmon and ikura sushi, but the quality was low—it was just a cucumber roll with salmon flakes and ikura. I understand it's a chain restaurant, but the slow drink service is unacceptable. When the drinks finally came, the highball was way too strong. I won't be coming back again.

Today, I visited "Koronagi Rai," a restaurant specializing in grilled food and oden located in front of Toyoda Station. This restaurant serves oden as a starter for 500 yen, and it offers a unique all-you-can-eat style where you can order specific items from the oden menu! The oden includes six types: thick fried tofu, konjac, daikon, egg, chikuwa, and shirataki. Additionally, there are limited-quantity options like octopus legs, hanpen, shumai, and satsuma-age, making the drinks selection quite abundant! The broth is gently comforting, making it a dish you could eat endlessly. The restaurant was nearly full even on a weekday evening, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation before visiting. This time, we ordered the following dishes: - Choregi Salad, Korean style (638 yen) - Half-boiled egg potato salad (528 yen) - Angel shrimp skewers, eatable in the shell (528 yen) - Crab and lettuce fried rice (858 yen) - Chicken thigh skewers (2 pieces) (396 yen) - Homemade burnt caramel pudding (528 yen) The Choregi salad was a shareable size and had a good amount of pepper, giving it a strong flavor. The potato salad featured a beautifully runny half-boiled egg, and when combined with the yolk, it became creamier—perfect to enjoy with drinks. The shrimp skewers were visually stunning and had plump, juicy shrimp which were very tasty. The crab and lettuce fried rice was just the right portion for one, making it ideal for when you're craving a little carb. It had a soy sauce flavor with a peppery kick, complementing alcohol nicely. The chicken thigh skewers were well-seasoned with salt, making them an excellent dish to enjoy with drinks, with a crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior. The pudding had a wonderful texture with a burnt caramel topping, not overly sweet, allowing it to be easily enjoyed. Overall, the dishes pair well with drinks, and the prices are reasonable, which explains why the restaurant is so lively!

I was looking for an izakaya around Toyoda City Station and decided to visit this place because it had good reviews. The staff seemed to be mostly young part-timers, but since the restaurant was quite busy, things were a bit slow. The standout feature of this restaurant is the 500 yen oden as an appetizer. You can actually get refills, which means it's essentially all-you-can-eat. If you order some sake, you can just keep enjoying the oden as your appetizer. The taste leans towards a Kansai-style with a saltiness that is complemented by the flavor of the seaweed broth, making it appealing to a wide range of people. I forgot to ask about the origin of the restaurant's name.

I visited a restaurant called "Roba to Oden Koranagire" located next to Vits near Toyota City Station on a Sunday night after a friend recommended it for its delicious food. The name is quite memorable and unique, and once you hear it, you won't forget it! By 6:30 PM, the place was bustling with customers. The highlight of this restaurant is the oden, which you can enjoy as an all-you-can-eat appetizer for just ¥550 (with a one food and one drink order policy). Initially, a platter is served, and you can refill your oden by bringing your bowl to the counter where you can choose two types of ingredients, and the staff will serve them for you. There’s a wide selection including daikon, eggs, konnyaku, shirataki, hanpen, thick fried tofu, fish cakes, and even shumai! It was my first time trying shumai with oden, and it was delicious, making me go back for more. The daikon soaked in the broth was the classic choice, and it was fantastic as well, so I had to refill that too. Yuzu pepper and mustard were available on the table for added flavor. As for the robata menu, the grilled sanma (saury) was a seasonal limited item, rich in flavor due to its fat content. The grilled chicken skewers were seasoned with salt and juicy! The sashimi platter was extravagant, with thick slices that included uni (sea urchin). The atmosphere at the counter surrounding the oden was really nice, and there were many table seats available, including dugout seating towards the back, making it a very convenient place to dine. Here’s what I ordered: ☑︎ Appetizer: All-you-can-eat oden ¥550 ☑︎ Takokara with grated daikon and ponzu ¥748 ☑︎ Assorted grilled chicken skewers (5 pieces) ¥869 (thigh, soft cartilage, gizzard, neck, skin) ☑︎ Tomato kimchi ¥330 ☑︎ Sashimi platter for two (5 kinds) ¥3476 (salmon, bonito, tuna, uni, yellowtail) ☑︎ Rare grilled nagaimo with seaweed ¥528 ☑︎ Grilled sanma ¥968 ☑︎ Homemade baked pudding ¥528 ☑︎ Asahi Super Dry beer ¥528 ☑︎ Akakirizima (hot water) ¥715 ☑︎ Oolong tea ¥418

We went there together for the first time. Since we arrived early, there was a lot of oden available, but the taste was just average. Moreover, the oden was lukewarm. The variety was also ordinary, so I don't think I'll be returning. There weren’t many other dishes that looked appealing either. If they want to offer oden as an all-you-can-eat appetizer, they should consider raising the price and improving the quality and variety to encourage repeat visits. It’s tough, but not having eye-catching dishes in an izakaya makes it challenging.

A trendy restaurant that was a hot topic in Shinjuku, Tokyo, opened in May this year in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture! I had been curious about it and since I had work in that area, I made a reservation and visited alone. It's about a three-minute walk from Toyota City Station, in a great location! The restaurant is on the first floor of a building that houses several dining spots. I thought it was called "Nagirai," but it's actually "Koronagira," which makes me laugh. It became popular during the pandemic, which is quite impressive. I visited on a weekday at 6:30 PM, and making a reservation turned out to be a smart choice! The place was bustling with lots of customers, and I noticed many had to leave because it was full. It's easy to see why it's so popular—their specialty is oden! With the weather getting a bit cooler lately, it's the perfect time for oden. Interestingly, the oden is served as an appetizer and it's all-you-can-eat for just 550 yen, as long as you order one drink. The cost performance is excellent! Since I was alone, I was seated at a counter around the oden pot, decorated with lanterns, giving it a festive feel. Once seated, I was greeted by the delicious aroma of the dashi and a display of various oden. The first items served included soft daikon that could be cut with chopsticks, konnyaku, hanpen, shirataki, thick fried tofu, eggs, and even a rare shumai that surprisingly matched well! On the table, there was mustard and yuzu pepper; I love adding yuzu pepper to my oden! The pieces are small, so I felt like I could eat a lot. After finishing the first serving of oden, I went to the oden counter with my plate for refills, and the staff helped me choose as much as I wanted, which was delightful! I asked the staff for recommendations and ordered octopus with grated daikon and ponzu sauce. The outside was crispy, with a pleasantly chewy texture, and the ponzu added a refreshing touch, making it a perfect snack. I couldn’t resist getting the half portion of potato salad; it’s something I always order when I see it on the menu! This restaurant also recommends robatayaki (grilled dishes). I tried the "angel shrimp" skewers, which were meant to be eaten with the shells, crispy on the outside and tender inside with just the right amount of salt. The grilled whole squid was thick yet tender, and the shichimi mayo pairing was fantastic! It was great with drinks! For the rice dish to finish, I ordered the salmon and ikura (salmon roe) sushi. It was visually appealing with plenty of salmon flakes and ikura on top of a cucumber roll, perfect for when you just want a little bit of rice. There was a coin parking lot right in front. Since it’s party season, reservations are a must!

OL's Food Diary ✨✎▷ Oden (Japanese hot pot) with 9 varieties available for unlimited servings (with a cover charge of 550 yen) ▷ The menu includes a variety of seafood and grilled dishes! I visited on a Sunday night. When I arrived at 5 PM, there were still plenty of seats available, but by 6 PM, it was almost full. It might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance ^_^ The restaurant is located on the first floor of an apartment building packed with numerous dining options, sporting a unique name! To my surprise, the place called "Koronagirai" (コロナ禍にオープン) opened during the COVID-19 pandemic! Such a memorable name that I’ll surely remember forever (°▽°)! You can place your orders via the QR code found on the table. ☑️ Unlimited Oden (with a cover charge) 550 yen I was thrilled that oden was unlimited! The oden selection included fish cakes, octopus legs, shumai (dumplings), thick konjac noodles, hanpen (fish cake), eggs, konjac, and daikon radish, all soaked in delicious broth! My favorite was definitely the daikon oden ^_^ ☑️ Sashimi Platter (5 pieces) 1,580 yen - available for two or more It included salmon, bonito, tuna, yellowtail, and even sea urchin! I was surprised to see the sea urchin—it made for a luxurious sashimi platter! ☑️ Grilled Silver Salmon with Ikura and Grated Daikon 968 yen The silver salmon was juicy and perfectly grilled, topped generously with ikura (salmon roe) over a mound of grated daikon! This combination made me incredibly happy ^_^ ☑️ Salmon and Ikura Parent-Child Sushi 858 yen ☑️ Zuwai Crab and Sea Urchin Gem Sushi 1,078 yen Inside was a cucumber roll topped luxuriously with various ingredients ^_^ ☑️ Aosa Seaweed Dashimaki Tamago (Japanese rolled omelet) 638 yen This dashimaki had a subtle aroma of aosa seaweed and was perfect as a side dish, complemented with grated daikon on the side♪ I was personally delighted by the wide range of seafood options available! They have three types of whiskey: - Black Nikka (572 yen) - Jack Daniel's (660 yen) - Chivas Regal 12 Year (715 yen) The courses with all-you-can-drink options range from 3,850 yen to 5,500 yen, which seems perfect for year-end parties! It seems that reservations can be highly sought after for certain seating types, so it's advisable to book in advance ^_^ ┈ Ordered Items ┈ ☑️ Unlimited Oden (Cover Charge) 550 yen ☑️ Sashimi Platter (5 pieces) 1,580 yen - available for two or more ☑️ Grilled Silver Salmon with Ikura and Grated Daikon 968 yen ☑️ Salmon and Ikura Parent-Child Sushi 858 yen ☑️ Aosa Seaweed Dashimaki Tamago 638 yen ☑️ Zuwai Crab and Sea Urchin Gem Sushi 1,078 yen Chivas Regal 12 Year 715 yen Jack Daniel's 660 yen

Located just a few minutes on foot from Toyoda Station, this izakaya specializes in robata grilled dishes and oden. The cover charge is 500 yen, which surprisingly includes unlimited oden! At first, the staff brings you some, and after that, you can order your favorite oden by asking them. With the recent drop in temperature, I found myself craving oden. The initial serving included items like egg, konjac, thread konjac, chikuwa, and shumai, which my friend and I shared. The shumai was delicious, so we went back for more. There’s an oden counter in the center of the restaurant where you can help yourself, which felt very charming, almost like a food stall. We started off with a toast over highballs, which were refreshing and tasty. We then ordered: - **Aosa Dashi Tamagoyaki**: Aosa (seaweed) rolled omelet, perfectly sized for easy eating. - **Sashimi Platter (5 pieces for two)**: A luxurious assortment with salmon and sea urchin among others. - **Salmon and Ikura (salmon roe) Sushi**: Generous portions of salmon and ikura, easy to devour in multiple bites. - **Shirayaki Salmon with Ikura Sauce**: Topped with plenty of ikura. - **Zuwai Crab and Sea Urchin Gem Nigiri**: Indulging in sea urchin that was so plentiful it truly looked like a gem. As a sashimi lover, I tend to order it every time I visit, so the salmon and ikura sushi and the crab and sea urchin nigiri were a delight. Since it was the weekend, the restaurant was packed. The unlimited oden as a cover charge is certainly a tempting offer. The staff provided excellent service, always smiling. They open from 4 PM, making it great for early drinking on your day off. With its proximity to the station, the ability to drink at an early hour, and the delicious seafood and oden available, it’s a perfect izakaya for outings with friends or office parties.

The spacious and open atmosphere of the restaurant is enhanced by the central oden counter and charming lanterns. A one-order, one-drink policy is required, but the oden is available for just ¥550 (as the appetizer charge) and is all-you-can-eat! The selection includes daikon, egg, shirataki, konnyaku, octopus legs, sweet potato dumplings, hanpen, thick fried tofu, chikuwa, and shumai (note that octopus legs are limited in quantity). Initially, the staff will serve you a large platter, but once you're done, you can take your plate to the central oden counter and let them know what you want. There are also spicy mustard and yuzu pepper at your table for extra flavor, which is a nice touch! At this price of ¥550, it feels like quite a bargain! Personally, I loved the angel shrimp skewers and the salmon with ikura and grated daikon. There are so many other intriguing dishes to try. As the colder season approaches, enjoying hot oden while sipping drinks sounds wonderful! Just a three-minute walk from Toyota Station, there's the access-friendly izakaya "Robata to Oden Koronagira Toyota City Ekimae" (コロナギラ). After finishing my errands in Toyota, I visited this place recommended by a friend. The shop was nearly full of people coming from work, creating a lively and bright atmosphere (^∇^). This izakaya is perfect for dining out, drinking parties, or girls' nights! The menu is extensive, and "Koronagira" is known for its oden and robata grilled dishes. Surprisingly, they offer all-you-can-eat “oden appetizer” for just 550 yen! It's quite astonishing to enjoy all-you-can-eat oden at just that price (@_@). **Here’s what we ordered that day:** - All-you-can-eat oden appetizer (550 yen) - Assorted sashimi platter (1,580 yen per person) - Today's seafood and avocado salad (968 yen) - Robata grilled items: - Angel shrimp skewers (528 yen each) - Donko shiitake mushrooms (638 yen) - Butter grilled scallops (638 yen) - Rice dish: - Salmon and salmon roe sushi (858 yen) - Dessert: - Vanilla monaka (418 yen) - Matcha monaka (418 yen) We could choose from a variety of oden options like daikon, eggs, konjac, fried tofu, hanpen, octopus legs (limited quantity), shumai, shirataki noodles, and satsuma-age. The staff brought us a large plate, and we could have as much as we wanted! (^_^)v We accidentally served ourselves at one point, but having all-you-can-eat oden is a dream come true for oden lovers! ♡ The oden was hot and flavorful, with the dashi well-soaked into each ingredient, making it delicious! As a Nagoya local, I would have been even happier if they had "tsukemiso" (dipping miso) available. (^_^; In addition to the sashimi, robata grilled dishes, sushi, and desserts, we truly enjoyed our meal with friends. This izakaya offers a fresh style, and I’m excited about the all-you-can-eat oden, so I definitely want to visit again! I added all-you-can-eat oden for an extra 500 yen to the 4400 yen course. The oden was delicious, but it seemed like they were short-staffed because the course dishes were served very slowly. The sashimi included three types: bonito, yellowtail, and one slice per person. Overall, the course was a disappointment. However, the all-you-can-eat oden and the all-you-can-drink were good enough to balance things out. I think it might be better to come here for drinks and order a la carte rather than going for the course. Since it's popular, I recommend making a reservation.

Aside from the oden, everything else was pretty mediocre. The portion sizes were small for the price, and the presentation was lacking; I felt like I could ask if someone was a beginner in cooking. However, the oden was really delicious! The staff were cheerful, and their explanations were thorough, which was great, but the food overall was truly disappointing.

I visited the "Yoruna Liki"豊田市駅前店, which ranked first in monthly access on Tabelog's Tokyo Shinjuku ranking for January 2024. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a spacious interior reflecting a contemporary casual vibe, with counter seats, tables, and even private rooms. At the time, the private rooms were lively with groups of customers, making it a comfortable space for both solo diners and groups. I chose a table and browsed the menu, which featured a wide variety of drinks and dishes, with a focus on robata (charcoal grill) cuisine. What stood out was the "appetizer" offered at just 550 yen for an all-you-can-eat selection of authentic oden (a Japanese hot pot dish). During my visit, I ordered the following: - Hoppy Red Set - 605 yen - Green Tea Highball - 572 yen - Chivas Regal 12 Years - 718 yen - Appetizer Oden - 550 yen - Donko Shiitake - 638 yen - Angel Shrimp Skewers - 528 yen - Grilled Salmon with Ikura and Grated Daikon - 968 yen (*All prices are inclusive of tax, and dinner is limited to a 90-minute last order within a 2-hour timeframe.) First, I enjoyed the Hoppy Set and the oden appetizer. The Hoppy Set offered three varieties: white, black, and red, and I chose red. As I raised my glass for a toast, I savored its crisp, refreshing taste and rich flavor. The oden selection included ten types—egg, octopus leg, daikon, konnyaku, fish cake, fried tofu, and more—prepared with a light broth. The 550 yen price for unlimited authentic oden was remarkable, and each ingredient was perfectly simmered, offering a delightful texture. Next, I savored the Donko Shiitake and Angel Shrimp Skewers, pairing them with a Green Tea Highball. The Donko Shiitake, garnished with green onions, was grilled with a unique blend of white broth and sake, while the Angel Shrimp Skewers were grilled whole, shell and all. The umami flavor of the shiitake, combined with the herbs and seasoning, was gratifying. The skewered shrimp offered a crunch from the shell and a juicy bite from the meat, making the dish utterly delicious. The Green Tea Highball had a vibrant green color, and its refreshing taste was a perfect complement to the two robata dishes. Finally, I indulged in the Grilled Salmon with Ikura and Grated Daikon, accompanied by a water-iced Chivas Regal 12 Years. This dish featured grilled salmon topped with grated daikon, ikura (salmon roe), and green onions, showcasing a delightful presentation and the opportunity to enjoy both the rich salmon and the roe. The salmon was well-seasoned and juicy, while the combination of ikura, grated daikon, and green onion created an exquisite blend of flavors. The Chivas Regal 12, mixed with water, provided a smooth and refreshing finish with the whisky's characteristic richness. Overall, the oden appetizer, the delicious robata dishes, and the perfectly paired drinks ensured a satisfying experience. I had an amazing time at this restaurant and personally hope they will open a location in Nagoya, preferably close to my home. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place, enjoy a drink, and indulge in the oden and robata dishes!

I made a reservation and went to an izakaya located about three minutes' walk from Toyoda City Station. The interior is surprisingly spacious compared to the exterior, allowing for easy movement without bumping into my big-eating companion. We were seated at a raised table, and while the chairs are on the smaller side, there are enough of them, and the layout is comfortable, so we didn't feel crowded by other customers. We ordered a course with nine different dishes and a two-and-a-half-hour drink plan for 4,400 yen per person. I thought we might have too much time, but the comfortable atmosphere made it just right. The main dish, oden, had a comforting taste, and the daikon was perfectly simmered. I had heard that the shumai was popular, but I personally enjoyed the fried tofu the most. It was fluffy and very delicious. Although it was a drinks-all-you-can plan, there was a rule to finish our cups before ordering again, so I alternated between hot sake and hot jasmine tea. It would have been nice to have some water to help with the drinking. I tried both Kongo-Rikishi and Yoshikawa, and both paired well with the oden, making for excellent drinks. The sashimi served early on in the course was fresh and tasty, so I expect this place will be busy as the season changes. I would like to visit again.

Tonight, I headed to Koronagira in Toyota City. The name "Koronagira" seems to playfully hint at "Corona," and I felt a rebellious spirit and message in it, especially given the pandemic and various restrictions on drinking. No matter what, humanity will not let our enjoyable moments be taken away! Although Toyota feels far away, it's just one train ride from Tsurumai Station on the Tsurumai Line, and the restaurant is close to the station, making my arrival seamless. Despite it being a weekday, the place was bustling with activity. And I finally encountered the much-talked-about oden counter!!! The festive atmosphere was exhilarating. Amazingly, the 500 yen appetizer is an all-you-can-eat offer for oden! Not just thrown together, the ingredients are beautifully arranged, and the staff kindly serves up exactly what you want, even pouring the broth generously at the end with a smile. Such a luxurious experience for just 500 yen! The dashi is deeply infused, and I especially loved the daikon. I also tried the angel shrimp skewers, which were incredible! You can enjoy every part, from head to tail, including the shell. If I could be reborn as a shrimp, I’d want to end up like this! The seafood and avocado salad was packed with lots of sashimi. Adding avocado is the ultimate combo. The sashimi platter had five pieces, and, surprisingly, it included uni! This sparked a mini-war with my dining companions over who would get the uni. The only regret was that my beloved addictive cilantro salad was out of stock. However, there are still many intriguing menu items, so I’ll definitely be back! In summary: I dislike Ponya and Corona but absolutely love Koronagira!!!

The oden appetizer for 500 yen is a great deal and you can eat as much as you want. There are quite a few variations, so it seems like you can have a good time with just the appetizer, one food item, and one drink (I noticed some customers doing just that). The all-you-can-drink option is 1800 yen, but since the regular menu has a wide variety of options, it's better to go with individual items even if it ends up being pricier.

I visited "Robata to Oden Koronagiri" which opened in May this year, near Toyoda Station in Toyoda City, Aichi Prefecture, during dinner time. The name, Koronagiri? Is it a play on words for "Corona-hate"? I thought it was a stretch, but then I looked up the course menu and found the "Oden Pfizer Course," "Oden Moderna Course," and "Oden AstraZeneca Course," all clearly related to COVID-19! This connection makes sense since the first store opened in 2022 during the thick of COVID-19 restrictions, as if the name is a representation of everyone's frustrations during that time. In front of the restaurant, there's a shared parking lot, and from the outside, you can see the warm, slightly yellow lighting inside, giving it a vibe similar to a collection of food stalls. In the center, there's a counter lined with oden, and here's the best part: you can enjoy all-you-can-eat oden for just 500 yen for the appetizer! With options like daikon, shirataki, hanpen, thick fried tofu, konjac, eggs, sato-ware, and shumai, the variety is impressive. You just tell the staff what you want for a refill, and they'll serve it for you. They even add a flavorful Kansai-style dashi, and you can enjoy it with mustard or yuzu pepper available on the table. Honestly, being able to eat unlimited oden as an appetizer was a first for me, and it pairs perfectly with drinks. There were also a number of interesting items on the menu like quail eggs in garlic soy sauce, grilled corn, grilled salmon with roe, butter-grilled scallops, angel shrimp skewers that you can eat with the shell, and deep-fried river shrimp, making it a feast of izakaya and robata dishes that surely enhances the drinking experience. We couldn't resist ordering the "Salmon and Roe Parent-Child Sushi" and "Zuwai Crab and Sea Urchin Gem Sushi," which were definitely Instagram-worthy with their enticing names. The sight of roe, crab, and sea urchin spilling out was irresistible. The restaurant offers a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option for 1980 yen per person, so while snacking on these delicious dishes and chatting, the drinks really flowed. We left feeling quite full, with our bellies filled with beer. The interior has a bright and clean izakaya-like atmosphere, making it a great spot not only for friends but also for family meals. The staff were friendly and informative, making our experience all the more enjoyable. I plan to return in the cold winter to indulge in the unlimited oden appetizer again! Thank you for the meal!

After running some errands in Toyota, I visited this restaurant. The fact that the oden served as a side dish is all-you-can-eat is great! However, surprisingly, I couldn't eat that much, and since it costs around 500 yen, it's about what you'd expect for the price. I also ordered items from the menu besides oden. Overall, the dishes have a strong flavor, so it might be suitable for drinking parties, but I found it a bit too rich. Thank you for the meal!

550 yen for unlimited oden!? Σ( ˙꒳˙ ) I visited a restaurant just a 5-minute walk from Toyota City Station, called "Robata to Oden Koranagirai Toyota Station Front". 【Atmosphere】 The interior is bright and comfortable (・∀・)イイ!! It mainly has table seats, but it’s way more spacious than it looks from outside, with plenty of seating. In the center of the restaurant, there’s an oden counter, which gives off a street vendor vibe. If you’re specifically there for the oden, that’s definitely the best spot! But maybe it gets a bit noisy when others are getting their oden? LOL 【What We Had】 ✧ Oden (unlimited) 550 yen x 2 ✧ 2-hour all-you-can-drink 1,980 yen x 2 ✧ Firefly squid in soy sauce 528 yen ✧ Salted kelp with green pepper 385 yen ✧ Ume crystals (plum and jelly) 528 yen ✧ Assorted grilled chicken skewers (5 pieces) 869 yen ✧ Octopus with grated radish and ponzu 748 yen ✧ Snow crab and sea urchin sushi 1,078 yen ✧ Salmon and salmon roe sushi 858 yen The highlight here is definitely the unlimited oden for just 550 yen! You can enjoy a variety of ingredients: daikon, hanpen (fish cake), octopus legs (limited quantity), shirataki noodles, deep-fried tofu, konnyaku, boiled eggs, fish cakes, and steamed buns—nine types in total. I did notice there might have been chikuwa (fish sausage) as well, but it’s not listed on the menu, so it probably varies by day. LOL Regardless, isn't it amazing that you can eat all of this for just 550 yen? (・ω・≡・ω・)✨ Is this heaven? (・ω・≡・ω・) LOL As someone who loves oden, I usually spend that much easily at convenience stores during winter, so this is just too good (・∀・)イイ!! They have mustard and yuzu pepper on the table for flavor variations too. Not only is the unlimited oden fantastic, but they also have a wide range of appetizers, grilled chicken, robatayaki (grilled items), and seafood—truly something for everyone! Just remember, for the oden, you take your empty bowl to the oden counter where the staff will serve and refill it for you (๑و•̀ω•́)و✨
