Visited at 7:00 p.m. on December 7, 2022. This place, "Yururiya," was selected for the first time in the top 100 izakaya restaurants in 2022. I made a reservation through Tabelog and visited. One of the charms of this place is that they offer a special evening drinking set for solo customers. It's rare to find izakayas that accept reservations for solo customers, so I was grateful for that. The solo customer limited "Evening Drinking Set ¥2,100" includes 3 small dishes and 2 drinks, which is quite attractive for the price. Today's small dishes were sashimi (fukuragi, soy, octopus head), konjac with cod roe, and tofu wrapped in meat and butter grilled. The drinks included a draft beer and a haskap highball from the all-you-can-drink menu. All the dishes had a homemade feel, but the taste was more professional than homely. Everything was delicious. The chef at "Yururiya" has experience working in Western-style kitchens in hotels, and the husband takes care of the front of the house. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, along with excellent service, attracts many female customers. Since 3 small dishes were not enough, I also ordered the "Scallop Bacon Butter Grilled ¥580" and the "Squid Tempura ¥570." The "Scallop Bacon Butter Grilled" was made with large scallops for sashimi, wrapped in bacon, seared with butter on the surface, and left rare inside, giving a combination of crispy and raw scallops. It was so delicious that it disappeared in no time. The "Squid Tempura" was seasoned with either black pepper or shichimi. I chose black pepper this time. It was perfect as a snack with drinks, with tender squid and great seasoning. Lastly, I ordered the recommended "Yururiya Gratin ¥880." As expected, it was a popular choice as almost every table ordered it, passing by in front of me. It was a simple macaroni gratin, but the béchamel sauce was perfectly done, tasting just as good as the gratin I had at a top Western restaurant. Very delicious. I thought about trying the omurice from the Western menu, but I was getting quite full, so I stopped there. The chef's wife even saw me off to the elevator, which was touching. (The candy souvenir was also delicious.) Thank you for the wonderful meal.

First visit. Had dinner with colleagues from work. The restaurant is located on the 7th floor of a mixed-use building and doesn't seem to attract casual visitors at first glance. However, it was fully booked. There seemed to be more locals than tourists. The menu had a variety of dishes, with a good amount of fried food. Surprisingly, the pork kimchi tempura was a hit! The staff recommended eating it as it is or dipping it in tempura sauce, so I tried it as it is. It was delicious without any weird taste. Dipping it in tempura sauce enhanced the tempura experience. Everything was delicious, but the highlights were the cheese wonton with fried yuzu pepper, the Genghis Khan grilled on a ceramic plate, which was flavorful and tender, the bacon potato cheese, and the elegant and tasty Napolitan pasta. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I would love to visit this restaurant again when I come to Sapporo. It was really delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant was small but cozy, with a nice atmosphere. We chose the all-you-can-drink course, and the dishes were just the right amount and highlighted the freshness of the ingredients. Next time, I want to try the a la carte menu. There were plenty of delicious-looking options available. On our way out, a woman who seemed to be the owner even escorted us to the elevator.

It was a visit with a reservation, and it was very nice to see a name plate on the table upon seating. I had reserved the evening drink set for 2,100 yen, and both drinks were Sapporo Classic beer poured with care and delicious foam. I also ordered additional scallop bacon and a half portion of gratin. We finished up in less than an hour. On the way out, we were bid farewell by the staff and the landlady, with a complimentary candy. It was a very pleasant time, and I would definitely like to visit this place again.

I visited for dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Each dish was carefully prepared. The highlights were the pork kimchi tempura and scallop bacon buttery grilled dish. For dessert, I had orange or lemon sorbet, which was delicious.

I went to have dinner in Susukino after watching a game of the Japan national rugby team at the Sapporo Dome. I heard it was crowded so I made a reservation. I ordered a evening drink set which included 2 glasses of Classic beer, 3 appetizers, and also tried the Snow Dance and Tofu Balls. It was all very delicious.

A cool room in a quirky building that doesn't look like a famous restaurant from the outside. Upon arrival at 6:30 PM for a reservation, the place was already full of regular local customers. If you make a last-minute reservation, you can only choose the 4,500 yen course, which adds to the mystery of not knowing what will be served. Sitting at the counter, we started with a barrel-aged sparkling wine for a toast. Mystery dish #1 was sashimi and a perfect classic dish. The beer served was specially selected by Sapporo and was incredibly delicious. Mystery dish #2 was buttered sweet potatoes, followed by fried food, so we switched to highballs. Mystery dish #3 turned out to be pork kimchi tempura and tofu balls, a surprising original menu from Hokkaido. The pork kimchi was exceptionally tasty! It paired well with Chitose Tsuru's cold sake. Mystery dish #4 was a decadent gratin, a specialty of the owner. Mystery dish #5 was scallop bacon butter sauté, a delightful combination of bacon-wrapped scallops seared rare in butter. For the final round, we chose "snacks" and were served a plate with sliced nagaimo (long yam), cream cheese ham rolls, and mentaiko (spicy cod roe) rolled omelet. This plate alone could accompany two more drinks! The owner at the counter provided explanations about the ingredients and drinks. It was a fun and enjoyable experience, with delicious food and drinks at a great value. A must-visit in Susukino if you're in the area!

I searched for a restaurant near my accommodation that I could book online. I made a reservation three weeks in advance, but it seemed to fill up quickly. It was a small restaurant in a mixed-use building. The staff were polite and the customers seemed to be mostly tourists. I enjoyed the recommended dish of scallops with bacon and butter, as well as the locally brewed sake from Sapporo.

Susukino area. A restaurant selected for the Izakaya Hyakumeiten 2022. I made a reservation through Tabelog. I visited before the reservation time, but even on a weekday, it was already fully booked with reservations alone! Before opening, there were 5 customers waiting in line Σ(゚Д゚) The interior of the restaurant is clean and welcoming, with name plates on reserved seats as a nice touch. It left a good impression♪ I happened to receive an invitation after making the reservation, so my stay was short, but I ordered the Evening Drink Set (2100 yen) which included 2 drinks and 3 dishes. - Sashimi platter with salmon and flounder, both fresh and delicious with tasty soy sauce. - Steamed tofu with crab sauce, the tofu had a rich taste and the crab was also delicious! - Asparagus bacon tempura, the asparagus had no fibrous texture and was delicious with the saltiness of the bacon and rock salt. - Perfect Classic Beer, the beer server was perfectly clean and the pouring was done with care. Truly perfect! I had two glasses of Perfect Classic beer♪ [Overall] The owner is understanding even with taking photos for Tabelog, so I felt comfortable. I had a short but pleasant stay with enjoyable conversations. I missed out on the gratin! I will visit again. Thank you for the meal♪♪

Yururiya is an izakaya located a 5-7 minute walk from Toyosui Susukino Station. They offer home-style dishes on the 7th floor of a bustling commercial building. This izakaya was selected as one of the top 100 izakayas in 2022. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance as seats tend to fill up on weekends. They offer a reasonably priced solo drinking set which includes 2 drinks, as well as half portions of dishes. The reviewer tried the solo drinking set which included Corn Butter and Yururiya Gratin. The set also came with 3 appetizers: sashimi, asparagus bacon fry, and chawanmushi. The sashimi made from octopus head was chewy and slightly sweet, while the crispy and juicy asparagus bacon fry and the hot and thick chawanmushi paired well with beer. The Corn Butter had a rich buttery aroma and sweet flavor, and the Yururiya Gratin, a signature dish, was a hot and creamy combination of bechamel sauce and cheese. The use of abundant Hokkaido ingredients in their delicious dishes left a lasting impression. Yururiya is a popular izakaya in Susukino, so be sure to visit when in the area. Enjoy your meal!

I found this restaurant by chance. The main reason was that it was close to the hotel. I was looking for a place to have dinner with my friends in Sapporo, so we searched around and found this place. We made a reservation right away and visited. The tasting course was 4,500 yen and it came with all-you-can-drink option, including Sapporo Classic beer. It was so nice that there was no cover charge. It felt very reasonable at that moment. I had a great time eating delicious food with a satisfying portion. I ended up drinking too much. Thank you for the meal.

A small restaurant with high ratings on Tabelog. It has a cozy atmosphere with a counter and table seating. It's a family-run business. The all-you-can-drink option lasts for a full 2 hours, but it seems like you can stay for 2 and a half hours without any issues. The food is delicious and meticulously prepared, especially the gratin which was outstanding. I will definitely come back for the gratin and all-you-can-drink option.

A top-rated izakaya in Susukino, Sapporo. The food and drinks were all delicious at a high level. They had menu options for solo diners, which was nice, but there were so many dishes I wanted to try that I want to visit with a larger group next time. I called at 9 PM on the night I arrived in Sapporo for a baseball game, but they were already fully booked. Two days later, I made a reservation through Tabelog and visited. It was lucky that I could use the Tabelog points that are usually hard to use. No cover charge. Evening drink set for ¥2,100 including tax (3 appetizers and 2 drinks). I tried the simmered fish, sashimi platter (including fukuragi, squid, shrimp), asparagus bacon tempura, Sapporo Classic beer, and Paul Star Yubari melon. The Yubari melon was surprisingly delicious. The scallop bacon for ¥580 was amazing, a must-try!

I visited Yururiya after a year! I made a reservation and entered the restaurant with excitement! It was Friday night at 8 pm, so it was fully booked today! Just like last time, there was a message on the table! Since I wasn't very hungry today, I ordered the evening drink set! The evening drink set includes 3 appetizers and 2 drinks, which is a great deal! The most delicious item in the evening drink set was the butter-fried potato tempura! It's not on the menu, so I felt like I got a little extra! Of course, the evening drink set wasn't enough, so I ordered sake, bacon-wrapped scallops with butter, and tofu balls as extras! The scallops can be eaten raw, so they were not cooked all the way through. Personally, I prefer them hot all the way through. But overall, I am satisfied! Thank you for the meal.

I started a gourmet website for Mitomi Emon. The restaurant "Yururiya" is located in the Susukino area on the 7th floor of a building with many small snack and karaoke bars. The concept of the restaurant is "handmade creative". The chef has over 30 years of experience in various genres such as Western, Chinese, and local cuisine, leading to a variety of creative ideas. The three specialties of Yururiya are: "Scallop Bacon Butter Yaki" with rare grilled scallops, bacon, and butter creating a refreshing taste. "Tofu Balls" look like takoyaki but are made of tofu, giving a fluffy texture and guilt-free indulgence. "Pork Kimchi Tempura" wraps kimchi's acidity and spiciness in crispy tempura, perfect with drinks. Another highlight is the gratin, a culmination of the chef's Western cuisine experience using Hokkaido ingredients for a rich creamy flavor. Finally, the meal ends with a salmon onigiri, a classic and delicious choice.

On April 4, 2023, the non-drinking second son and I visited Susukino after a long time. The second place we went to was Yururiya. After confirming availability over the phone, we headed there. The handsome master, mama-san, all seemed well, which was great. The Perfect Classic Sapporo Classic Beer can be found in many places, but this shop is a certified Perfect Classic establishment. Once you taste it, you'll realize it's on a different level compared to other classics. Made with 100% malt without using adjunct ingredients, this beer has a refreshing sensation that smoothly passes through your throat. Personally, I used to consider Ichiban Shibori as my number one beer, but with the renewal of Sapporo Classic last year, it has taken the top spot! The fluffy Dashimaki Tamago is often said to determine if a sushi restaurant is good or not, and the one here is exceptional! It has a delicate texture and a gentle flavor that matches its texture. It's my number one Dashimaki Tamago. (By the way, is this happening all over Hokkaido? There seems to be a shortage of eggs lately. It's tiring to go to multiple shops to buy eggs...) The Gratin at Yururiya is a specialty of the house. Even my picky second son enjoyed it and devoured it, praising how delicious it was. The Soy Sauce-Pickled Long Potato Sticks are cut into stick shapes and provide a different kind of deliciousness compared to grated yam. Yururiya is one of the few places in the bustling Susukino where you can relax and feel at ease. How about starting with a Perfect Classic to quench your thirst and then enjoying delicious dishes to treat your taste buds?

This restaurant is one of the few "top 100" in the izakaya and dining category. It focuses on creating homemade dishes using local ingredients. I visited with two friends on a weekday, and we had made a reservation for the "Yururi Family Course (5500 yen)" in advance. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with a mix of counter and table seating, and it felt slightly geared towards women. The course included 8 dishes from sashimi to gratin and dessert (sherbet), all of which were delicious and had a homemade feel. Some standout dishes were the "Tara no Hoppé" deep-fried skewers, the "Scallop Bacon Butter Yaki" cooked slightly rare, and the restaurant's specialty gratin. They offer a wide selection of alcohol from Sapporo Classic to sake, with quick refills. Overall, it was a satisfying experience enjoying delicious creative dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. The course was quite a good deal, although personally, I prefer ordering a la carte. I will definitely revisit to try the items we missed this time, such as the "Pork Kimchi Tempura" and "Tofu Balls."

The end of the COVID self-restraint is approaching. I visited Yururiya-san, a place I had been checking out. I had the image of a home-cooked meal run by the landlady, but the restaurant and the food were both stylish. The first dish, a trio of appetizers, paired well with the sake. Next came a delicious sashimi platter with fresh shrimp, followed by a variety of dishes leading up to the finale of dozama. The menu was well-balanced with no gaps. I uploaded the photos in order, so please check them out. The course meal with all-you-can-drink was 5,500 yen. I felt like I could have eaten a bit more, but I'll save that for next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The cheese is so melty♡ The flag is also lovely (๑´ㅂ`๑) Pork Kimchi Tempura is also a favorite! The delicious pork kimchi is even better in tempura form♡ It goes well with alcohol. Mentaiko and cheese are a perfect match, with plenty of mentaiko inside!! The Dashi Tamagoyaki is soft and jiggly♡ I was surprised by the size of the Fried Chicken!! Iran Karappe. ---------- 2023.03 ----------It has become a "top 100 restaurant" without me realizing it. Congratulations! |o| °д°)ノ When I arrived around 6 pm, there were already 2 groups of customers. Reservations are now essential at this renowned restaurant. The master and mama are still as lively as ever. (Although the master seems like he might keel over soon.) Here, I always end up getting knocked out by the "master's secret sake" (= ´∀´)ノ To start, I had the "chicken minced meat simmered dish," with a gentle flavor and soft konjac. The 9th-anniversary special dish (requires reservation) was the "Hamburger-chan." It consisted of a grand menu featuring "Yururiya gratin + Hamburger-chan + Mama's love." The visual was impressive, and the burger was a hefty 180g? It was juicy and meaty, with a creamy bechamel sauce that had a perfect flavor. Mama's skill in Western cuisine shines through in this dish. Before the main dish arrived, I had the "mentaiko cheese spring rolls" as an appetizer. As someone who can't handle spicy food, it was like a body blow to me, but the cheese's richness and flavor helped soothe the damage. The "Dashimaki" is a must-have every time, with its fluffy and juicy texture. After about an hour and three glasses of sake, I was feeling a bit tipsy. You can enjoy a space filled with great food, people, and atmosphere here.
