I finally had the chance to visit this place, which requires a complete reservation in advance, serving "Japanese-style Keema" chicken leg curry with a spiciness level of 40, and normal rice (250g). I made a reservation for the 11:30-12:20 time slot. The small restaurant is located on the second floor, accessed by steep stairs. There are 3 counter seats and 2 tables. The single female staff member provided attentive service. I chose a spiciness level of 40 for my first visit, which was just right for me. The curry had a nice seafood aroma with a strong bonito flavor. The spiciness was enjoyable, not overwhelming, allowing the flavors of the spices and soup to shine. The minced chicken was plentiful, and the tofu was well incorporated. The vegetables, especially the potatoes, added a nice touch. The chicken leg topping was tender and flavorful. The rice portion was generous, leaving me feeling satisfied. Next time, I plan to try a smaller rice portion with various toppings like Achaar or Sabzi. Overall, it was a delicious experience.

This restaurant is now operating on a completely reservation-only basis. You can make a reservation on their website by clicking on the official SNS link. I tried the Japanese-style keema with natto topping, rice with lemon achar, spicy pickles, and green chutney - delicious! There is no parking lot, but I believe they used to offer a 100 yen discount with a parking ticket in the past. Payment is cash only!

The lunch options for office workers are limited. One weekday lunch experience was at 【Akatsuki】. It has become a reservation-only place. I arrived around 12:20 pm. There were no other customers before me, and there were 2 groups of 3 people after me. The owner, a woman, was handling everything alone. Now, onto today's order!
- Ordered: Chicken and Kinoko (mushroom) for 1,050 yen (spiciness level 30), Broccoli for 100 yen, Soup in large size for 100 yen.
After waiting for 10 minutes, the dish arrived! The soup was light and refreshing, but the spices and flavors came through later on. The spiciness level 30 was just right for me. The ingredients other than chicken were generous in portions - cabbage, carrot, shimeji mushrooms, paprika, green beans, wood ear mushrooms, Thai noodles, and the topping of enoki mushrooms were all good! The cost performance was great at 1,000 yen without any additional toppings. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal - I will definitely come back!

Tram stop in front of Chuo Ward Office, a little west of Ishiyama Street, a hidden gem soup curry restaurant that requires complete reservations. They announced on Facebook that there are available slots today. The basic reservation method is online, but when I checked the site, it showed that it was outside the reservation hours. After looking at Facebook, I found out that same-day reservations are done by phone. I climbed a narrow staircase to the second floor, where there was only one customer before me. There are counter seats and two tables, with a window seat overlooking the tram tracks to enjoy the view. The highly rated Japanese-style Keema curry costs 1200 yen. I added extra rice (350 grams) for an additional 50 yen. The menu indicated that the normal spicy level is around 10, so I decided to go with number 30. Toppings like Subji and Achaar are available for 100-150 yen, as listed on the board. The aroma of the soup was delightful even before the dish arrived, perhaps because the kitchen was open. This soup curry focuses more on the flavor of the soup rather than sharp spices. It reminded me of a recent visit to another restaurant where I had a similar experience. The presentation was impressive, with plenty of bonito flakes sprinkled on top, giving it a strong Japanese touch. The main ingredients were potatoes, carrots, lotus root, and tofu, which stood out prominently. Combining Chinese spice dishes like Mapo Tofu and curry, this soup curry was a unique experience for me. The half-cooked egg yolk melted beautifully, enhancing the sweetness. The timing of releasing the flavors was fascinating. As I was captivated by the soup's taste, the spices started to kick in, causing me to break a sweat. I have a tendency to be spontaneous, so making advance reservations is difficult for me, but I might visit again with a same-day reservation. Among all the soup curries I've tried in the past year, this one left a lasting impression.

Chicken and clam with spiciness level 80 + mushroom mix. Today's toppings include lemon achar, watercress and ginger subji, and super spicy green shishito pepper pickles. On hot days, eating spicy food makes you sweat and feel refreshed. After enjoying delicious food, take a leisurely walk and you might come across a portable shrine procession at the Sapporo Festival, which will make you happy to experience it again after a long time.

I couldn't make it to Sapporo last time, so this time it's a revenge. I was grateful that I could make a reservation through the site posted on Instagram. It's a 30-minute walk from Sapporo Station. The stylish interior with Western music playing. Slightly more women than men. It was my first time, so I ordered the classic Chicken Leg Curry No. 30, and added Lemon Chutney and Subji with Mitsuba and Ginger. I don't know what Chutney and Subji are, but I felt they must be delicious so I ordered them. The Lamb Kofta that everyone else ordered also caught my eye. I was seated at the counter and the curry arrived in about 15 minutes. Even while waiting, I was enveloped in a good scent and music, feeling happy. Tasting it, No. 30 was quite spicy. It was just right for me, not needing to gulp down water. The vegetables in the curry were large and delicious. The side dishes were particularly high quality. The Mitsuba in the Subji had a mild bitterness, and the Lemon in the Chutney stood out, complementing the curry well. It's amazing how they can adapt Japanese ingredients into Indian style. Therefore, I recommend always ordering side dishes at Akatsuki. Even the regular rice portion was quite filling. A small portion might have been enough. They also sell frozen curry, and regular customers were coming to buy it. It seems like a restaurant loved by many. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Akatsuki-san, who won't let you in without a reservation. Totally hooked♪ On this day, with close drinking buddies‼️ Limited time Negi-tama keema. Level 200 spiciness. Super spicy Ao-nanban pickles topping. Lately, I've been completely into Murakami-style♪ The spiciness is indescribable‼️ If you don't get it, it's okay. But if you don't get it, don't write that you don't like it every time♪ Everyone has their own preferences!! Still delicious as always. The Senbon negi is incredibly delicious‼️ I hope they do it again♪ Mama-san, keep up the good work‼️ Cheering for you♪

It's been a while since I last visited Akatsuki-san's restaurant, so I'm grateful for the reservation. This time, I chose the Japanese-style Keema with lemon achar. It was like the 80th dish on the menu. I need to write a review soon or I'll forget... I regret that. The presentation and quality were so good that you wouldn't think it was a one-man operation. It was delicious!

Chicken and clam with spiciness level at 50. Today's toppings include pork sambal, pickled red radish, spring chrysanthemum and ginger subji, super spicy green chili pickles. I was so hungry because I didn't have time for lunch during the chicken pickle making process. Luckily, I was able to get a delicious curry and side dishes after morning prayers.

Located in Chuo Ward, Sapporo City, Hokkaido, this restaurant is known for its representative Sapporo gourmet dish, Soup Curry. I had been curious about this place, as they only accept reservations in advance, so I made a reservation two weeks prior and eagerly visited. Once inside, I ordered the "Japanese-style Keema" for ¥1,200, and added a side dish of "Chrysanthemum Greens and Ginger" for an additional ¥150. The dish was filled with a variety of ingredients: ground chicken, carrots, potatoes, eggplant, tofu, lotus root, half-cooked egg, and green onions. I love this flavor profile and might become a fan of Soup Curry. The dish had a satisfying amount of ingredients and was topped with bonito flakes, which added a nice touch. I like spicy food, so I chose a spice level of 20, which wasn't too overwhelming. The side dish of chrysanthemum greens and ginger was the perfect accent, flavorful but not overpowering, making the Soup Curry very enjoyable. The restaurant had a stylish interior, and I would love to visit again to try other items on the menu. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I came here again with a friend who had never been here before. We ordered the chicken vegetable curry with spice level 200, topped with pickled red radish and spicy green pickles. The owner remembered us and even offered us beaten eggs, which was a new addition to the menu. I'm so happy that they remembered us! I've only been going to this place and Hood Dog recently, I'm addicted to their delicious spicy soup curry. You can make a reservation through the shop's Instagram page.

I ordered the lunch chicken curry with mushrooms and a small rice from a fully reservation-only system on Instagram. I didn't add any toppings like achaar because I couldn't see the list on the blackboard very well. It was served by a female staff member after waiting for about 10 minutes. It had plenty of bell peppers, potatoes, and carrots. The chicken was tender and the mushrooms as toppings were delicious. The soup felt a bit thin at first, but the spice started to stand out more towards the end. It was really tasty.

This is a soup curry restaurant just a few minutes' walk from Nishi 11-chome Station. They serve a Japanese-style keema curry with various toppings, and you can also add toppings to your rice. They operate on a reservation basis, which is convenient as you can enter without waiting in long lines even in winter. It was delicious! The reservation slots are quite open, so I would like to go again!

I chose the Chicken and Mushroom curry number 80. It came with a side dish of spring greens and pickled red radish. It was amazing. The restaurant may be run by just one person, but the service was still polite and the soup curry was delicious, making both my heart and body happy. It was truly delicious.

I made a reservation in advance as it has become a fully reservation-only system. I ordered the Chicken Curry with spice level 200, topped with beaten egg, along with rice, daikon achar, and chili pickles. The beaten egg topping is not officially on the menu yet, but they were willing to make it upon request. The daikon achar was surprisingly delicious, and I doubled up on the chili pickles because I enjoyed them before. It had been a while since my last visit, but the chicken, vegetables, and soup were all delicious. The spiciness made me sweat, but the curry was irresistible. It's truly delicious. I will definitely make a reservation and come back again. It's worth making a reservation.

After reopening, the restaurant is now run by the owner's wife, operating on a fully reservation-only basis with a limit of 5 people per hour. The menu offers four options: chicken leg, chicken and clam, chicken and mushroom, and this time I tried the chicken and mushroom mix. The soup was hearty and well-spiced, and the meal was delicious. If I had to nitpick, I would say that a bit more cardamom in the soup would be nice. I definitely want to revisit. PS: Make sure to make a reservation, as you won't get in otherwise!

I went to Akatsuki for lunch today and had the Chicken and Asari Ramen with spice level 80. The toppings were spring chrysanthemum and ginger subji, Pol Sambol, red radish achar, and super spicy green chili pickles. It was delicious! The ramen had plenty of asari clams, and I enjoyed it so much that I finished it in no time.

Yesterday, I made a reservation right when @akatsukicurry reopened for business after a long time. It has become a reservation-only system now. The owner's wife was running the place by herself, and I wanted to support her. The curry was just as delicious as when her husband was cooking. I had the Keema curry and the 6th piece was with clams and chicken. Thank you for the meal. Akatsuki Hokkaido, Sapporo, Chuo-ku, Minami 1-jo Nishi 12-chome 322-24, 2F.

I forgot that many curry restaurants are closed on Wednesdays, but Akatsuki was open! A lifesaver♡ I had the Chicken Leg (1000 yen), Lemon Achar (80 yen), and Spring Cabbage with Ginger Subji (130 yen) with a spiciness level of 40 (up to 50 is free). The spiciness hits you directly, so 40 was just right for me. The Lemon Achar had a delicious bitterness! The soup had a subtle umami flavor and was tasty. I arrived just in time at 11:45 without having to wait in line. It took 13 minutes from ordering to serving. Two more groups arrived later, and then about 4 people lined up. #Curry #Spices #CurryLovers #SpiceAddict #DeliciousFood #ThankYouForTheMeal #SpiceLover #Lunch #SapporoCurryLovers #CurryTime #yummy #hot #loveforSpicyFood #Foodie #EatALot #HappyLunchtime #Sapporo #CurryLovers.
