I'm in Obihiro for work! It's been a while since I stayed in Obihiro♪ How about dinner at "Kakashi" (my favorite) tonight? My companion also said, "Nice, it's been a while!" It's a favorite restaurant for both of us, so we headed there, but it turned out to be a different place (-_-;) I found out that it had closed in 2021, what a shame. So, since we were already there, we decided to just go ahead and dine at "Tokachi Obihiro Mass Dining Tokachi Haru"! They recommended the all-you-can-drink option, "It's 980 yen for 90 minutes for everyone!" There was also a 1480 yen option, but since it was their recommendation, we went with that. We started with a toast with beer! *Took the photo after having a few sips (^^;) And the appetizer was bread! (@_@) My stomach was already full (laughs) We ordered edamame, long potato fries, octopus sausage, and a few other things, and our stomachs were satisfied. It was probably because of the bread appetizer (^^;) We drank as much as we could until the last order, and finished with ochazuke. The bill came out to around 6000 yen for the two of us. We had a cheap and enjoyable drunken night again!! Thank you for the delicious meal~

They also offer a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option, but I don't plan to stay that long.

It's a cozy bar-like place where you can enjoy drinking alone or with friends. Started with ordering a draft beer for the all-you-can-drink option. The appetizer was bread and soup. The deep-fried burdock was sliced thinly and long, different from what I had imagined. I would have preferred it to be a bit thicker. The mackerel mayonnaise bread pizza was delicious. Mackerel, mayo, and cheese go well together.

During the day (until 3:00 PM), it's a hamburg steak set meal restaurant, and at night, it's an izakaya. They operate continuously. I stopped by until the time of the JR train back to Sapporo. What a surprise! With LINE friend registration, you get a 90-minute all-you-can-drink deal (including Sapporo Classic) for only 550 yen! However, there is a 550 yen cover charge and a requirement to order 2 items. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is bright and casual, with counter and table seating. The background music includes songs by Chiharu Matsuyama, Dreams Come True, showing a nice touch for those from Tokachi, Hokkaido. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but they have a focus on ingredients from Tokachi. Regardless of the taste, the cover charge (550 yen) is a plate with red bean bread shaped like Hokkaido, served with Echire butter. Even though I wasn't hungry, I followed the rule and ordered the "Tokachi Nagaimo, Tokachi Kawanishi Nagaimo sliced into strips (438 yen)" and the "Famous Chewy Long Potato (659 yen)", both of which were simply delicious. For drinks, I started with Sapporo Classic, then moved on to a highball, and finished with a freezing fresh lemon. They limit one drink per person, which caught my attention. It was also quite tasty. Moving on, the service was not bad, but it was the slightly aloof type that is common in Hokkaido. Overall, with a menu that focuses on Tokachi, despite the cover charge and 2-item requirement, the food was satisfactory and I think this is a restaurant that can be very useful depending on how you use it. I have been using another place called "Tototo" for killing time before heading back to Sapporo, but I will continue to use both places.

I apologize for the lack of detail. The old shop has been completely renovated and transformed into a bright and lively Japanese bar with white as the main theme. The interior was filled with young people, and I noticed the reasonable menu prices. The appetizer was bread! Even the locals were surprised, haha. The place we usually go for drinks was closed, so we decided to try a new place with a bright exterior that caught our attention. By registering on their official LINE account, we were able to enjoy all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes for only 550 yen, which included draft beer. We started with the beer, of course, and cheers to that! The rule was one person had to order two food items, which was a bit pricey, but considering the cheap drinks, it was not a problem. They used ingredients from Hokkaido and Tokachi in their menu, which was interesting. The complimentary bread they served was surprisingly delicious. I switched from beer to a frozen fruit sour, which was fun to pour into the glass myself. I ended up enjoying sours for the rest of the evening. The food was all tasty, with the potato fries being a standout for me. The 90 minutes flew by quickly, and the total bill for the night was 7,253 yen. It's been a while since I spent less than 3,000 yen per person at an izakaya. This place is definitely recommended for business travelers, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I visited the newly relocated Tokachibaru, a bustling restaurant. The homemade bread and butter served as a starter were incredibly delicious! The seared meat sushi had great value for money. The menu, which focuses on ingredients from Tokachi, was all fantastic. I heard they specialize in hamburgers for lunch, so I definitely want to visit again.

The QR code system was introduced, but only one staff member was checking the orders, causing that staff member to appear very busy. Orders placed through QR codes were left unattended for over 5 minutes. The manager and another staff member at the counter seemed idle. During the second half of the all-you-can-drink service, we had to remind them to take our order. Additionally, the appetizers were very expensive. We were surprised to see tiny pieces of bread and two small cups of potato soup (which tasted mostly like water) priced at 550 yen. It would probably cost around 500 yen for two servings at most. When ordering the all-you-can-drink option, we were forced to order four appetizers, which were also served very slowly. It took over an hour for all four items to be served. Despite the idle staff at the counter, we were left wondering why the service was so slow. Other customers also seemed to have their orders forgotten. Overall, it was a disappointing experience at that restaurant.

The location was easy to find and the restaurant was easy to enter. The dishes were all good, with a taste of Tokachi, but the service was a bit lacking, possibly due to understaffing. The appetizer was surprisingly expensive, so I regretted not choosing the restaurant across the street.

I used this restaurant for a company party (2nd party). The taste is normal delicious, but the service is not very polite. I would avoid bringing important clients here due to concerns about the service.

I visited a popular izakaya that opened in place of a famous scarecrow restaurant for the first time. I ordered a drink and a small round bread was served as an appetizer on a wooden plate shaped like Hokkaido. It looked fancy at first, but there was only one piece of bread. This is unacceptable! Isn't this an izakaya? I don't expect much from appetizers, but this is ridiculous. Apparently, you have to pay for the appetizer even if you don't order a drink. The appetizer cost 500 yen for one small piece of bread. If you bought this bread at a regular bakery, it would cost around 120 yen. The fried food was very greasy and fell apart when picked up with chopsticks. The portion size was small and not worth the price. The taste was not bad, but nothing special either. The menu seemed to focus on Tokachi ingredients, but even with good ingredients, the dishes were just average. If they want to focus on local ingredients, they need to put more effort into the menu. Also, there was a strong smell of cigarettes during the meal. Is smoking allowed here? The combination of the intense cigarette smell and the overly hot air conditioning made the experience quite uncomfortable. Something was missing in every aspect. There was a young chef working hard in the kitchen. I hope they improve in the future. 2.5 stars.
