I came here to eat soba. My partner said we have to line up. What, are we leaving already? Even arriving an hour before opening is considered late. Well, it's a three-day weekend after all. We arrived at 10:10. We were the first ones here. I had the soba kaki and mori soba. I don't usually eat soba kaki, but I decided to try it based on reviews. When I put my chopsticks in, steam rose up. The texture was soft and smooth. I dipped it in wasabi and sauce. It was delicious, but I think I prefer slurping my soba. The soba itself was perfect. And the soba-yu! Even after leaving the restaurant, I could still savor the lingering taste in my mouth. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived on Monday at 11:30 and received the 8th buzzer, waited on a bench near the entrance for an hour. Luckily, there was still some soba noodles left. The soba noodles were well drained, giving them a concentrated flavor. Lately, I have been able to taste the flavor of green beans in delicious soba noodles. I had the cut soba noodles with summer limited grated wasabi. The condiment stimulates the appetite. The presentation was meticulous and easy to eat. As written on the menu, they seem to focus on delivering a consistent taste throughout the year by emphasizing the quality of the soba noodles. It seems like they are in a world unaffected by trends like early harvest varieties or new soba noodles.

I wanted to visit a restaurant that I had heard always has a long line, so I arrived around 10:20 with determination, but there were already 3 cars ahead of me. The restaurant opened at 11:30, and I got number 3 for the waiting list and waited in my car. I was able to have a delicious meal of soba with grated yam and tori-gobo soba around 12:00. Customers who arrived around 12:00 were able to get a number and leave in their cars until called. They were told the wait would be around 1 to 1.5 hours. I'm not sure if it's better to line up before opening or not, but waiting 1.5 hours for a meal might be too much for me.

I had cold soba noodles with warm tori-gobo (chicken and burdock root) broth. The noodles had a refreshing texture and the broth had a delicious flavor from the chicken and burdock root dashi. It was so tasty! It was quite busy even on a weekday, probably because it's summer vacation season. I had to wait in line but the system was efficient - you take a buzzer and wait in your car. The portion was satisfying and I could eat it smoothly because it was so delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really nice. Ah, it was so delicious! I will definitely go back again!

Despite arriving 30 minutes before the opening, there was already a long line. I ended up waiting for an hour and a half before being seated. The soba noodles had a great texture and aroma, with the perfect thickness and a satisfying chewiness. The ginger in the chicken and burdock soba was a nice touch, and the soba broth was rich and flavorful. Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal.

Arriving around 11:40 on a Saturday in early summer, we found that the popular restaurant already had a one-hour wait. Despite that, many people kept arriving, but about half of them left after hearing about the wait time. It was a shame. However, the wait was definitely worth it for the delicious plate of soba we enjoyed. To truly appreciate the carefully crafted taste of the soba, you have to be prepared to wait in line. So, come to the restaurant prepared for a wait!

Sudden snow scenery in the clear weather was utilized for a drive, with the destination being a bakery. However, while seeking further gourmet options in that direction, the "Ishimame" shop caught our attention. We decided to visit the shop suddenly. As we drove on the snowy road and finally arrived at the shop, the shop owner came out with a sign indicating that they were probably closing for the day. They gestured that it was unfortunate that we had come all the way. Disappointed but accepting the situation, we parked and reluctantly started looking for another shop. Just then, the shop owner came out again and said, "You're ordering for two, right? In that case, I think we can manage. Please come in." Taking advantage of their kindness, we entered the bright and clean shop with a warm atmosphere. The large windows offered a view of the mountains on a clear day. We sat at the counter by the window and ordered the winter limited edition Hanamaki Soba (hot) and Tori Gobou (steamed). The shop played stylish music and served warm tea as we waited for about 10 minutes. The Hanamaki Soba, with a nice aroma of seaweed, was served first. Then came the Tori Gobou. I had Tori Gobou, so I dipped the cold soba into the warm sauce and enjoyed it. The soba was pale with small grains of sweet skin or buckwheat husks mixed in. The Tori Gobou had a delicate texture and a firm soba aroma, with a chewy texture. The shop owner suggested adding ginger later, so I added ginger halfway through. It was my first time trying ginger with soba, and the refreshing aroma and spicy taste paired well with the Tori Gobou. Delicious. The Hanamaki Soba, being hot soba, didn't have a strong texture, but the aroma of seaweed and wasabi created an elegant and gentle flavor. It was truly delicious and satisfying. Lastly, I had soba soup. There were only tea cups available, so I was a bit worried, but I wanted to taste the soba soup as the main dish, so I asked for a tea cup. The soup was thick and cloudy with a strong soba aroma. I enjoyed it as it was and also diluted it with hot water. All the dishes were really delicious. Even though the shop was about to close, the staff were always friendly and accommodating, and it was a warm and satisfying time for both my stomach and heart. I would love to try their soba noodles next time. With that in mind, I give them a high rating. It's a shame that the shop is far away, but I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This restaurant has a very high hurdle to overcome! They have frequent days off, and even though they open at 11:30, they often sell out by 12:00... I once traveled all the way from Sapporo to visit, arrived before noon, but couldn't eat because they were sold out. It's a wait-in-the-car style, so it's not too bad, but it's best to avoid weekends. I really wanted to eat here, so I arrived on a weekday before 10:00, but I was second in line, not in pole position (laughs). Known as one of the "Oshio Alps Farm Three Crows" along with Kimura in Otaru and Kono Hana in Kuromatsu, this place is considered the best by many city folks, with its modern and beautiful soba. I ordered the "mori" style, which is a standard in Hokkaido soba restaurants, along with the "chicken and burdock" dish. The shiny and clear soba, with a strong aroma, is best enjoyed by dipping it slightly in the clear broth and slurping it up all at once. The soba has a robust umami flavor that pairs perfectly with the warm chicken and burdock broth. This place is definitely worth a visit for those who have the patience to wait.

Today, I went on a drive to Makari in the Niseko area. I decided to stop by a roadside station for lunch. I searched and found Ishimame, which had high ratings, so I had to give it a try. When I arrived, the restaurant was already full, so I received a buzzer and waited in my car. During the 30-minute wait, cars kept coming and going. Finally, the buzzer went off. The restaurant had a calming atmosphere. The menu was carefully selected. My usual choice, tempura soba, wasn't on the menu, so I decided to try the Torigobou. After a 10-minute wait, it arrived. The soba was beautifully presented, with a great flavor and texture. The Torigobou broth was warm and flavorful, with a strong dashi taste. The burdock was crunchy and delicious. Overall, this was high-quality soba worth trying. Thank you for the meal.

Wife: "Take me to Ishimame! ♡" Me: "Okay, but if we arrive at 10:30 and there are more than 10 cars lined up, we're giving up!" We left at 9:15, arrived safely at 10:30... and we were the 9th car in line! (^^; By 12:00, there was a sign on the door saying "soba sold out." They had sold out of 40 servings for 17 groups that day. We entered at 12:30, ordered Torigobou for two, and it arrived in about 15 minutes. Even before eating, it looked delicious! My wife said, "Stop taking pictures and eat, it's going to get cold!" I replied, "Soba here doesn't get cold!" We added ginger for flavor halfway through, and then further spiced it up with Nanami Togarashi from Yagendori. My wife was impressed the whole time, and even drank up all the soup with sobayu at the end, which I had never seen her do before. She was extremely satisfied! My wife paid for the meal in the end! (laughs) But seriously, is it okay for a restaurant to make you wait for 2 hours before you can eat? Torigobou - 1,250 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

30 minutes before the store opened, there were already 3 cars lined up. We were the 4th group. More cars continued to line up after us. Only 4 groups are allowed inside the store at a time for infection prevention measures. About 15 minutes before opening, a staff member came out and gave us a number with a calling sound, then we waited in our cars. After a while, we were called in and seated. The atmosphere was calm. They served freshly made dishes one by one to each person, allowing for a relaxed experience. We ordered the daily limited 5 servings of soba noodles, grated yam soba, and the daily limited 10 servings of chicken and burdock soba. The soba noodles came first, they were fluffy and delicious. The grated yam soba and its broth were also delicious. The chicken and burdock soba had a warm broth, and the burdock was thinly sliced making it easy to eat. Everything was delicious. More and more customers kept coming in, but the wait time was around 1 to 2 hours, so if you plan to go, it's better to be prepared to line up before opening and go early.

11:30 OPEN, I predicted it would be crowded so I arrived before 11:00, but there was already a line with about 6 cars ahead of me. Previously, people used to line up outside, but now they give you a bell with your name on it before you enter the parking lot and you wait in your car. This system seems to be designed for COVID-19 and cold weather precautions. The soba noodles were delicious with great texture, flavor, and broth. It's one of the top 3 soba noodles I've ever had. I wish there was a bit more because it was so tasty.

In the town of Makari, there is a soba restaurant called Ishimame that is loved by many. They open at 11:30, but we arrived around 10:45 and were the 5th group in line. We were finally seated after 12:00 and tried their limited edition soba with freshly grated wasabi, which is only available in summer. The taste was indescribably delicious! It was the best I've ever had! Even though it's far, I definitely want to come back again. If you love soba, you should definitely give it a try! #Hokkaido #Makari #soba #Ishimame

I finally made it on my third try. I arrived a little after 10:30 and was the 4th in line. The restaurant has 2 tables and 12 counter seats, so the first round is almost guaranteed! It's easy to line up by car. When it's time, the parking lot opens up and we enter in order, receiving a bell call from the owner. When the bell rings, we go inside. The soba noodles were a generous 200g portion, which made me happy! It was my first time trying the new soba noodles at Ishimame-san's place. They had a fresh aroma and a youthful taste. I wonder if I can go again? Thank you for the meal♪

Today's location was Niseko, so I asked for the meeting to be in the afternoon (lol). I arrived at 11 o'clock and it was already the 8th car in line (^^; The 3rd car was an older lady who arrived from Sapporo at 10 o'clock. The background music was Sophie Milman's jazz vocals♪ I ordered the wasabi grated radish, the spiciness was perfect - the best dipping sauce! I waited for an hour, but finished eating in 5 minutes (lol). I drank up the soba broth and had a blissful soba lunch! When I went to pay, the landlady said there was still an hour and a half wait for 8 more groups. But I was willing to wait for this delicious soba! Wasabi grated radish - 1250 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

I visited the restaurant before opening hours (11:25) on a regular day and received a pager due to 6 groups of customers already waiting. I waited in my car for 40 minutes before being seated at the counter. I ordered the "torigobou" for ¥1,250. The soba noodles were served in about 20 minutes, and they were plentiful and delicious. The dipping sauce was also tasty. Adding grated ginger as a condiment enhanced the refreshing taste and made it enjoyable to change up the flavors.

I've always wanted to come here, and today my wish came true. I arrived at the restaurant on a weekday at 11:15, and there were already about 8 cars waiting. We gave our number of people to the staff, left our buzzer, and waited in the car. I had a big breakfast, so the long wait didn't bother me. Some people who arrived after us also waited, while others gave up and went home. About an hour later, our buzzer went off. It was time to enter the restaurant. I ordered the Mori Soba, and my husband ordered the Chicken Gobo. I wanted to try the Soba noodles, but my husband didn't, so I decided not to order it. The Soba noodles were thinner than I expected, but they were smooth and easy to eat. The broth was not too spicy, just the way I like it. Despite initially looking small, the portion of Soba noodles was actually quite filling, and I was very satisfied. My husband really enjoyed the delicious chicken in his Chicken Gobo dish. He even gave me a piece of the chicken. We also tried the Soba broth, which was thick and delicious, and seemed good for the body. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The store opened at 11:30, so I arrived about 15 minutes early, but there were already 9 cars lined up in front of me. I was the 10th in line, and it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes until my turn. By the time I finished eating, they had put up the closed sign. It was worth the wait. The food was delicious.

It was the weekend, but most of the lifts at Rusutsu Resort were shut down due to heavy snow and strong winds. With some free time on my hands, I decided to go on a lunch expedition. I stumbled upon a restaurant in the middle of nowhere. To enter, you have to wait in your car and the owner will give you a bell to ring when a table is available. The soba noodles were visually stunning with a hint of green. They tasted as good as they looked, with a great texture and aroma. The portion was generous, and the soba broth was on the richer side. Despite waiting for about 40 minutes, the popularity of this place is understandable.

Whenever I passed by, there was always a long line and it was difficult to get in, but on this day, I arrived early with the intention of coming here. I got there a few minutes before the opening, but there were already a few cars parked. At first, I couldn't get in, but I was able to enter next. The soba noodles were incredibly delicious. The aroma and flavor were rich, and the taste was great! I also liked the texture. The soba noodles had a good firmness and the texture was excellent, and the portion was a bit generous too. I was very satisfied. I would like to go again.
