Today, my wife and I both had the day off, so we decided to go shopping for our dog's food, which was running low. We headed to our usual supermarket, Daikyoku JAK. After finishing our shopping, we didn't have any other plans, so we decided to have lunch before heading home. We were unsure of where to go, but my wife suggested a ramen shop nearby called RAMEN RS Kai, which had an empty parking lot across the street. The restaurant was full inside, with two people waiting, but we didn't mind waiting a bit. We bought our meal tickets from the machine - I chose the white boiled fish ramen, while my wife chose the chicken broth soy sauce ramen. We also added a char siu rice bowl. After a short wait, we were seated and our meals arrived promptly. The presentation of the ramen was beautiful, and the taste was exceptional. The broth had a strong boiled fish flavor but was not overpowering, complemented by the high-quality lard. The noodles were thin and straight, perfectly paired with the broth. The char siu was also delicious. I tried my wife's chicken broth ramen, which had a rich chicken flavor and was refreshing to eat. The char siu rice bowl was a good deal for the price, despite the char siu being cold. Overall, the meal was satisfying and delicious, and we were once again impressed by the quality of the ramen at RAMEN RS Kai. It is a restaurant we would gladly visit again. Another great dining experience!

I had the Pork Back Fat Shoyu Ramen with Nori and Ajitama (flavored egg) (1150 yen) and the Char Siu Donburi (300 yen). The rich shoyu soup with seaweed flavor and the sweetness of raw onions blend well together. The soup is on the saltier side, but still easy to drink due to its lightness. The flat hand-kneaded noodles have a chewy texture, and the flavored egg is rich in taste. The char siu was just okay. It started off tasty but became saltier as I continued eating. The Char Siu Donburi features pork loin with a sweet and sour sauce and a hint of black pepper, making it a unique dish. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, but it was a bit hot inside while eating ramen, making it a bit uncomfortable.

I came here today for the first time in a while before the user-san at Keishin Shoyu Kiyota. The location is at 1-4-11 Hiraoka, Kiyota-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. The phone number is 011-301-2636. The business hours are from 11:00 to 14:30 and 17:30 to 20:00, closed on Tuesdays. They have parking available. It's quite nice around the Nishi 20-chome area of Sapporo. #RAMEN_RS_Kai #Kiyota-ku #Hiraoka #Hokkaido #Sapporo #goodstuff #Jin Miura #Niseko Onsen Club #loveonsen #rameneveryday #lovesoba #soba #ramenlover #saltramen #soyramen #misoramen.

It was different from what I had last time. The rich soy sauce flavor was satisfying. The pork fat enhanced the sweetness. There were two types of chashu, one grilled and the other cooked at low temperature. The grilled one was a bit firm with a smoky taste, while the low-temperature cooked one was tender. Both had less fat and allowed the pure enjoyment of the meat's flavor. Although I usually don't like flat curly noodles, these had a good firmness and flavor. I was able to enjoy the ramen all the way to the end in one go. It was lucky that it wasn't crowded as it was past 2 pm. Thank you for the meal.

Chicken Dashi Enriched Salt Ramen (850 yen). There are whispers of limited items like chilled noodles or toppings, but I had already decided. Chicken Dashi Enriched Salt, that's what I chose. It's hot, but everyone seems to be into the pork back fat ramen or dried sardine ramen. Always looking clean as usual. But the chicken oil is piping hot. The rich oil film bursts with flavor. Was there always this much oil? Be careful not to burn yourself, and carefully slurp up the noodles. It seems like it's a little different each time you come, right? But the essence of this place hasn't changed. Is constantly changing what it means to live? Dynamic equilibrium. Now the only thing left to try is the tsukemen. Pork back fat ramen or dried sardine ramen, which one should I choose? Thanks for the meal.

Nagoya Cochin and Otaru Jidori luxurious Chinese soba (soy sauce). I had been recommending this place to a friend for a while, so we finally went together to celebrate the 6th anniversary event menu. The basic option is the Chashu ramen with back fat, which is also highly recommended. The beautiful presentation, rich chicken flavor in the elegant soup, three types of chashu, and my personal favorite, finely chopped onions, all come together harmoniously with the soup, ingredients, and the owner's specially ordered Mori Sumi noodles. It's a fantastic place to eat, but it's so good that I almost don't want to recommend it too much because it might get too crowded.

At this time of year, golfing in Hokkaido is fantastic! If you start early in the morning, the temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius, making it a comfortable round. After playing at the prestigious Rinkai course, I often stop by this ramen shop. It's also conveniently close to the new tourist spot, Escon Field. You can enjoy a rare shoyu ramen with a dried fish base here. I always order the shoyu ramen with extra pork fat, onions, and dried seaweed toppings. The popularity of the Yan Sanjo style has spread nationwide thanks to the efforts of the Koshu Hotel! This ramen shop offers a lighter version of the Yan Sanjo style, which is just right for an old man like me! While there may be some inconsistency in quality depending on the day, I think it's a good restaurant overall.

I stopped by this ramen shop on my way to watch a baseball game at Escon. I had high expectations because the ratings on Tabelog were excellent. However, even though it was right after opening, there wasn't a line of customers, which made me a bit uneasy. I decided to try the shoyu ramen, while my friend ordered the niboshi broth and I chose the chicken broth. Both were delicious with no off-flavors, but I ended up giving a rating below the average on the review site because I have a sweet tooth. I could tell that the staff, who seemed to be working alone, were doing their best, but the trash can was overflowing with tissues from the previous day. I hope they pay attention to details like that in the future.

I went around 1:00 pm on Saturday and the place was already full. There were only two staff members managing the place, they seemed to be very busy. I tried the Chicken Dashi En Tanmen. The soup had a rich and well-crafted flavor, very delicious. I usually don't like straight noodles but these were tasty. The chashu wasn't to my liking (a bit fatty?), but it might appeal to others. My companion had the Pork Back Fat Ramen. I had a bite and it had a strong dried fish flavor. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Drive along Route 36 from Sapporo City towards Kitahiroshima City, past the Sapporo Dome, and just after turning right towards the Bibi Heights Driving School, you will find Ramen RS Kai. The fact that there is a parking lot besides the front of the shop indicates its popularity. Upon entering the shop, you can purchase a ticket from the vending machine. This time, I ordered the visually appealing Niboshi Chuka Soba with thin straight noodles, which has been recommended by the shop. Lately, there has been a trend of strong flavors of dried fish and soy sauce, but this Niboshi Chuka Soba has a delicate umami taste that feels both nostalgic and fresh. I will definitely have to try the recommended Chashu Chuka Soba next time.

I finally had the chance to visit the restaurant I've been wanting to go to, even though I was hungry from physical labor since morning and arrived around 6 pm, missing the evening opening. I was able to park in the parking lot in front of the restaurant. As soon as I entered, the smell of dried fish made me excited. While I was buying meal tickets, the owner kindly prepared water for me (although it was supposed to be self-service) and the WiFi was also available. I had the pork back fat soy sauce flavor with seasoned egg for 1050 yen, and my partner had the white soup with dried fish for 880 yen. The white soup is not common, but it is made with white broth instead of salt. The pork back fat soy sauce ramen was good, but just okay. It had a lot of back fat, but it left a light impression with a bit of roughness. The flat noodles were good, and the thin slices of char siu were nice and porky. One slice seemed to be seared, giving it a fragrant taste. The rock seaweed was essential for the back fat, as expected. It ended up being decent. The white soup with dried fish was delicious, with smooth thin noodles that were slurp-worthy. I would like to try the chicken broth and tsukemen, so I will visit again.

Today, I heard a rumor that Ramen RS Kai is offering a seasonal limited edition version of Muryoju. This is my first visit to the restaurant, and I'm here specifically for the Muryoju. Without even looking at the regular ramen options, I quickly pressed the "Muryoju" button on the ticket machine. The presentation is beautiful! The egg yolk, seaweed, chashu, and sudachi are neatly arranged and look delicious. The broth has a strong sesame oil flavor, making it refreshing and tasty. Muryoju soba is great, but the ramen version of Muryoju is also delicious. I'll have to come back next time to try the regular ramen.

This is a place in Hirao 1-jo 4-chome in Kiyota-ku, along the old National Route 36. As always, please check the exact location on the map on Tabelog. I heard that the popular ramen shop in Hirao is re-releasing their summer special menu item "Muryoju," so I decided to visit the shop. Upon arrival, I parked my car in the parking lot across the street from the shop, entered the shop, checked the menu at the ticket machine, pressed the button for "Muryoju," received the ticket, handed it to the staff, and was seated at the counter to wait for my order. The dish arrived in 5-6 minutes, beautifully presented with a strong sesame oil aroma. I started by mixing the noodles with the soy sauce-based sesame oil sauce without breaking the yolk, then enjoyed the noodles with the properly chilled high-water content straight thin noodles. I then had the toppings of chashu, chopped seaweed, and neatly sliced green onions. Towards the middle, I broke the yolk and mixed everything thoroughly before finishing the dish. It's getting warmer now, and I enjoyed the Muryoju again. I heard that the shop owner is considering a limited edition version of Muryoju, so I look forward to trying it if it becomes available.

The back fat shoyu ramen with nori and flavored egg for 1,150 yen. Yes, this is delicious. The dried fish shoyu broth is not too strong, and it balances well with the sweetness of the back fat. The onions add a fantastic touch. The noodles have a slightly chewy texture, but they are smooth and delicious. I usually don't like this type of noodles, but these are tasty. The chashu is thin and tender, adding to the overall flavor without overpowering the ramen. The flavored egg is perfectly runny and flavorful. I would like to try their clear dried fish shoyu or white dried fish broths as well.

I finally visited RAMEN RS Kai for the first time, a place I've always wanted to go. When I arrived just 5 minutes before opening during Golden Week, there were already about 5 groups waiting, but my family of 3 managed to get in on the first round. This place operates with a ticket machine at the entrance where you purchase your meal ticket. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with dried fish, which was visually and tastefully appealing. The soup had a good balance of dried fish and soy sauce, with a deep and rich flavor that didn't tire the palate, showcasing the careful work put into bringing out the umami of the dried fish. The noodles were thin straight noodles with a chewy and smooth texture due to a higher water content. The toppings were simple with chashu, menma, and green onions. It was delicious!

Recommended by a friend to visit this place. In one word, my impression is "bad". First, the noodles - they are thin and soft, more like somen or zero-calorie diet noodles, and don't give you the feeling of eating ramen. Next, the soup - the soy sauce broth had oil floating on top, making it hard to eat without the oil sticking to everything. The dipping noodles had too much of a fishy taste for my liking. The salt ramen had a weak flavor, with no hint of chicken at all. Overall, what can be said is that there is no umami in any of the dishes.

This is a ticket vending machine. The menu has various options - with back fat, dried bonito, thin noodles, hand-kneaded flat noodles - white, soy sauce. It's lunchtime after coming back from the hot springs, and I feel like having something light. I'll go with the white dried bonito ramen. This one comes with thin noodles. The clear soup looks beautiful. It tastes delicious. I also tried the soy sauce ramen with back fat. It's not too heavy despite the back fat. It's easy to eat and tasty. I would definitely want to come back here when I feel like having something light.

Chicken broth glossy salt ¥850 Char siu ¥280 Flavored egg ¥150 Green onion rice ¥300 Total: ¥1,580 Delicious. Adding toppings creates a beautifully balanced ramen. The soup is probably pure chicken broth, using the scent of chicken broth in a good way, so it might not be for those who dislike chicken broth. The noodles are thin and straight, slippery in texture, slightly soft. They go well with the soup. I quite like the char siu. It's not too strong in flavor, so it pairs well with the soup and noodles, making it tasty. The thin slices are tender and satisfying to eat, so I would add more next time. The flavored egg is on the salty side... I might skip it next time. The green onion rice has a nice aroma of green onion oil and pepper, but it's quite salty. I might skip the rice dish next time. I'm curious about the white anchovy ramen and anchovy ramen, so I'll come back again.

Tsukemen (regular size). I visited last week and the owner recommended the tsukemen, so I visited again this week. I ordered 1.5 servings of regular size and resisted the urge to get the large size. The noodles (Morizumi's colorless flat hand-kneaded noodles) were delicious as I had discovered last week, so I was confident that this noodle would be perfect for tsukemen. The rich fish and pork bone back fat soup was even more delicious than I had imagined. I couldn't stop eating and finished it in no time. At the end, I drank the remaining soup. It was so delicious that I didn't want it to end. I'm fully immersed in the world of RS.

White boiled dried fish Chinese noodles (880 yen). Originally, I planned to eat the glossy salt ramen, but I ended up choosing the salt = white option. Lately, I feel like I can't control my body. It's been a while since I visited this place since the original owner moved to Maruyama. The last time I visited, I felt some inconsistencies and it kept me away. This visit after a long time, the tension in the atmosphere inside the restaurant has disappeared, and I can relax, which actually leaves a good impression. However (considering the high cost of living and other factors), I appreciate the simplicity of having the single item option button in the top left corner of the ticket machine. I apologize for sounding so self-important. I ordered the white boiled dried fish Chinese noodles. The appearance is just as beautiful as before. When I tasted it, I first felt a strong bonito flakes aroma rather than the dried fish flavor. Then, the slightly soft texture of the noodles gave me the illusion of eating delicious somen noodles. Surprisingly, the chashu had a smoked aroma. Hmm, was it always like this? But it's delicious. The menma and green onions were tasty too. As I thought about these things, I realized that I had finished the soup. My memory is starting to fade a bit, but I left the restaurant thinking, "Once you find a place delicious, it truly is delicious," with the whispers of Ashiya Gannojo and Tsukaji Takeshi in my mind. Next time, I'll try the chicken broth glossy salt ramen. (The spicy Sichuan pepper topping was also delicious, but it's for adjusting the flavor). Thank you for the meal.

Before getting on the Hokkaido Expressway, I made a little detour and had lunch at this restaurant. I arrived around 1 pm and found that the parking lot was full... Oh, there was one spot across the road where two cars could park, and it was empty. I parked my car there and went inside. There wasn't a line, but all the seats were taken. I bought a "Shoyu Ramen with extra seaweed and seasoned egg for 1,150 yen" from the ticket machine and waited on a bench for about 5 minutes before being seated. Once seated at the counter, my ramen arrived in less than 5 minutes. The aroma of dried seaweed was delightful. The soup had a nice balance of broth and soy sauce flavor. The pork fat added a good richness without being overpowering. The finely chopped green onions and dried seaweed helped to balance out the oiliness. The noodles were my favorite type – medium-thick, flat, wavy noodles. The combination of all these elements was right up my alley. The balance was good, and the flavor wasn't too strong, so it was easy to slurp up. I could have even gone for a larger portion. Next time, I definitely want to try the "Shiro" (white) ramen. Thanks for the meal. Rating: 3.66
