Sapporo, Chuo-ku, Minami 2-jo Nishi 1-9-5. Just a short walk from Tanuki Koji Shopping Street in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. A standalone house restaurant along Sosei River Street. I called on the day to confirm the seat by phone, provided my name and time, and then visited. I arrived at 12:00 on a weekday. The menu is displayed at the entrance. Inside the restaurant, there are 8 counter seats in front of the kitchen, divided into pairs by partitions. There are also several table seats and a 2nd floor. I was guided to the window side at the far right end of the counter. More customers arrived later, and the counter seats were full. It's a popular place. There are two lunch options: A - appetizer, pasta, focaccia, dessert, drink for 1700 yen, and B - appetizer, pasta, focaccia, main (meat dish), dessert, drink for 2400 yen. I was told that option B includes a main dish and a dessert with chocolate, so I chose that. The pasta options were: 1) spaghetti with shrimp and spring vegetables and 2) spaghetti with squid and asparagus in tomato sauce. I was a bit indecisive, and the waiter suggested, "Would you like to share and have both?" I was surprised by this hospitality towards a solo customer. The appetizer included a salad plate with carrot potage, marinated spring cabbage, marinated beets, and burdock croquette. The main dishes were delicious, with the pasta being slightly overcooked but still tasty. The focaccia was moist and flavorful, and the main dish of sautéed Hokkaido pork was simple yet showcased the quality of the ingredients. The dessert included milk ice cream, strawberry jelly, chocolate, and Florentine. The drinks included an option of soft drinks or alcohol for 400 yen each. The wine pairings were recommended by the attentive waiter. Overall, the experience was delightful with delicious food and excellent service.

We called on the same day and they kindly opened up a counter for us. The dishes, which make use of ingredients from Hokkaido, are consistently good and never fail to meet expectations. The food, drinks, everything is worth more than the price. Highly recommended for both private and business occasions!

I decided to indulge in seafood tomorrow in Otaru, so today I went for Italian. I forgot to take a photo, but the crab pizza was incredibly delicious. The sea urchin pasta and crab pasta were also superb, with no room for improvement in taste. I ate quickly like I was drinking, and before I knew it, the meal was over.

I often visit Agora and always enjoy their lunch by myself. This time, I visited for dinner and was able to enjoy delicious Hokkaido ingredients of the season. The appetizer platter never fails to impress with its beauty and taste, so I always order it. For the main course, I choose based on my mood, whether it's pasta or pizza. I also love the atmosphere along the Toyohira River. I had a great time with beer and wine.

The wine selection at this fantastic Italian restaurant on Tanuki Koji is excellent. I made a reservation for 5:30 PM, but the restaurant was already full with a sign saying so. It's a popular spot. The food is delicious and the presentation really stimulates your appetite. Be sure to try the fried burdock - you'll want seconds. The wine recommendations that pair with the dishes are fantastic, maybe from a sommelier? The taste matched the description perfectly. The prices are also reasonable. Thank you for the meal.

I'm currently obsessed with Italian food and have been visiting Italian restaurants multiple times in Hokkaido. The lunch course at Agora Sapporo is around 2000 yen, which is quite rare for this quality of Italian cuisine! Everything was delicious, but the sweet potato potage as the appetizer captured my heart. The pasta dishes come in half portions, so you can enjoy two different flavors which is great! The seafood on the pasta was also very tasty! I want to go back again because it was so delicious. I visited this restaurant after seeing it on Instagram during my trip. The service staff were very friendly and welcoming. The teamwork between the service staff and kitchen staff was impressive, as they seemed to know exactly what needed to be done in the current situation. The oysters, salad, and seasonal pizza (with lemon, spring onions, and shirasu) were delicious. I would definitely want to visit again when I travel, and if it were closer to my home, I would be a regular customer.

I was getting a little tired of seafood, so I decided to choose an Italian restaurant and it was the right choice. I ordered a variety of appetizers a la carte, and it was so luxurious and delicious!! The red wine, a Cabernet, was also very delicious. Every dish was very tasty, but the gnocchi was especially delicious. I ended up getting seconds. The sea urchin pasta was also delicious, but I was a little disappointed that the noodles were thin. The venison meat was tender and delicious. The staff were always smiling, polite, and attentive, providing the best service. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I go to Sapporo. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I was able to visit for the first time! It's a two-story restaurant along the Sosei River. I enjoyed all the dishes. The hamachi carpaccio, garlic shrimp, seasonal shellfish, white wine butter-steamed snow crab in tomato sauce, Hokkaido beef sirloin roast with special sauce, and grilled oysters with Uni gratin were all delicious. It was a bit disappointing that the sea urchin pasta was sold out. I will visit again. The sangria was really delicious.

I finally visited Agora Sapporo, which I had been curious about for a while. The white fish carpaccio was very fresh. The appetizers were deliciously presented, but the meat was tough and difficult to swallow, which was disappointing. The real standout was the oyster gratin. If I have the chance to go again, I want to eat at least three of them.

I made a reservation for 12:00 and visited the restaurant. It is located just off Tanukikoji Street on the left side, making it easy to find. The restaurant quickly filled up after I entered. I chose the lunch set with two options, and I went with option B that came with meat. There were two types of pasta available, so I shared with my friend and we both enjoyed it. From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was delicious and satisfying. The meat dish was also generous and filling. The staff provided pleasant and welcoming service, making the atmosphere comfortable. I would like to visit again in the evening to try more dishes. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Agora is a stylish restaurant located in a renovated old building on Tanukikoji 1-chome, by the side of Sosui River. The name "agora" means "square" in Greek, and it holds the same meaning in Italy as well. The restaurant is quite popular, and reservations are almost necessary to get a table. The place is packed up to the second floor. They serve the perfect classic beer in tall glasses, certified by Sapporo. They also offer a variety of wines, with over 10 types of red and white wines available at all times. I tried the Spezieri Toscana IGT and it was delicious. The carpaccio made with fresh fish was elegant and tasty, with a slight richness that added to the flavor. The sautéed monkfish was perfectly cooked to a golden brown color, and it was absolutely delightful. In Hokkaido, monkfish is known for its creamy texture. The gnocchi with gorgonzola cream cheese sauce was just right, not too heavy or too light, and the texture of the gnocchi was perfect. The roasted venison was cooked to perfection, both on the outside and inside, and it was a real treat. It was tender and juicy. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying. However, the staff seemed quite busy, and dishes like the roast took about an hour to be served. Just something to keep in mind.

With this quality, it's hard to find a lunch course for 1800 yen in Tokyo!! I definitely want to visit again! Especially the appetizers and sweet potato potage were spot on. The dessert was also amazing! Since you can get half portions of pasta, you won't feel sleepy in the afternoon♪lol

Visited this restaurant for dinner on the 6th day of my Hokkaido trip. After having mainly seafood, I was craving Italian food and wine, so I decided to come here. The food was delicious and the service was great, making it a top-notch restaurant. Even a simple salad tasted amazing with the high-quality ingredients in Hokkaido. Ended the meal with a pizza loaded with cheese, which was a dream come true. Definitely a place I want to visit again. I think making a reservation is a must!

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. Everything was delicious. The staff were well-mannered and energetic. The flavors were great, especially the pizza. I sat at the counter, which was spacious. The heat from the kitchen or the heating made the inside of the restaurant quite warm. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Italian restaurant in Sapporo. I made a reservation and went there♪ Since it's a special trip to Sapporo, we decided to order whatever we liked without holding back! We ordered a variety of dishes with the whole family, including appetizers, snacks, soup, pasta, pizza... without any restraint. But all of them were delicious without exception ( ,,>ᴗ<,,) Especially memorable were the sweet potato soup and sea urchin pasta. The soup had a rich sweetness that was irresistible. It was almost like a dessert. The sea urchin pasta was full of sea urchin flavor, starting from the creamy sauce. It was a masterpiece that allowed us to fully savor the sea urchin. There were so many other dishes we wanted to try. If there's a next opportunity, I would definitely like to revisit this restaurant♪ Thank you for the delicious meal (*´艸`*)

First visit. Since the restaurant was only offering takeout during the pandemic, I had only gone to buy once before. This was my first time dining in. We were seated on the second floor, which was spacious and relaxing. The service was very kind. The lunch course was worth more than the price! Dessert and a drink to finish were included. The ladies were very satisfied! It was delicious and I finished every last bite. Thank you for the meal♪

The last restaurant I visited in Sapporo was this a la carte place. It was conveniently close to my accommodation. If you go from Tanuki Koji, you can avoid the snow. - Atmosphere: Stylish and casual. - Ordering process: Make a reservation by phone. It's better to avoid busy times. Payment at the register. - Crowd: It seemed to be full. There were many women and couples, not many young people. - Duration: About 2 hours. - Service: The staff seemed busy but they were handling things efficiently. - Menu: They have fried dishes, salads, oven-baked pizzas, and pasta. - Parking: Not available. - Food: Appetizer platter around ¥1200 per person, Carpaccio around ¥1400, Oyster gratin ¥580, Pizza half and half. There were also gnocchi and potatoes on the menu but I was too full to try them. I would like to come back next time! Whatever I ordered was delicious, the plates were cute, and the sangria was refreshing and tasty!

I visited this restaurant based on the high reviews. I arrived 10 minutes before the lunch opening on a weekday and was able to get in right away, but the place quickly filled up and seemed very popular. It looks like they have around 40 seats. The restaurant has a chic and cozy atmosphere. I ordered the "Lunch B" set, which includes a pasta course and a meat dish. Normally, you have to choose between two pasta options, but they allowed me to order both in smaller portions. The dishes were served one by one, but it took about an hour for all of them to arrive. If you're in a hurry during lunchtime, you might want to be cautious. As for the taste, the pasta was a bit bland in both the noodles and sauce, and the meat dish seemed a bit roughly roasted, could have used a bit more browning. The kitchen seemed busy and a bit chaotic. Overall, the taste and service were not as impressive as the high ratings from others. Thank you for the meal!

I came back for lunch again~. The appetizers are consistently delicious. The soup is so good that I want a bigger bowl to drink from. And because the appetizers are so tasty, I always end up ordering a glass of bubbly for lunch. The pasta of the day was okra and shrimp with grilled zucchini in olive oil, and bacon in tomato sauce. The main dish was grilled Sanseki pork, which was tender. The pineapple panna cotta dessert was refreshing and delicious. I was able to make a reservation for lunch by calling at 11:30. I will definitely be going back.
