Attended a music event for the first time in a while in February 2023. This time, I ordered the hamburger lunch. The hamburger was well-mixed and soft, with demi sauce. It came with a side of spaghetti, salad, and consomme soup. I also tried the coffee with sweetfish simmered in soy sauce, which surprisingly went well together. The person I was with ordered the mozuku seaweed curry, which was quite surprising. The owner of the restaurant is from Hakodate, so using seaweed in curry is not uncommon here. This place also offers live music and various events. Among my friends, it's considered a power spot.

A cafe-like, diner-like restaurant located in a residential area on the east side of Toyohiragawa. The exterior has a retro look and it seems to have been featured on Takatoshi Land, with photos of Funakoshi-san and Toshi-san displayed. Inside, they also host live music events, with schedules of local musicians posted. The walls are decorated with various spiritual items from Shinto to Buddhism, creating a chaotic atmosphere. The place doesn't seem to support any specific belief, so it's quite comfortable. I started with a coffee, which was a mild type with decent quantity. The ginger pork comes in a one-plate set with salad and a small portion of spaghetti Napolitan, along with miso soup. The ginger pork is pleasantly not too sweet, with a flavor that adults would appreciate, although the meat is a bit tough. It's quite an interesting place, seems like a local hangout spot for the neighborhood.

Visiting at lunchtime at 12 o'clock, it was a bit awkward to be seated without guidance. The background music was relaxing, like in a bedrock bath. There were no magazines, just waiting for the food. The slightly sticky table was a bit bothersome. Only chopsticks and a toothpick were provided on the table. It would be appreciated if there were at least paper napkins... The most popular dish, Pork Ginger Stir-fry set for 1100 yen, had delicious meat and the seasoning made the rice go down smoothly. The soup was a subtle consomme soup, which was okay but miso soup would have been better. The pasta was not great, being cold and seemingly reheated. It would be nice if it was warmed up properly. Having coffee after the meal was a nice touch. The service was somewhat lacking, with a somewhat dark atmosphere. I felt like it might be better for regular customers.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a training session that had been canceled for three years was finally held, so I decided to look for a restaurant near the venue. I ended up at Meshi Cafe Ippu-rai. It was lunchtime and there were only three other customers. I sat at the counter and ordered 8 pieces of winged gyoza. The owner, who was working alone, was very efficient. The interior of the restaurant was decorated with various pop art, pug-related items, and photos, which was cute. The gyoza was ready in no time. It came with a drink service, so I chose oolong tea. I made my own dipping sauce with more vinegar and enjoyed the crispy wings and juicy gyoza. It was a mild-flavored gyoza, so I felt fine for the training session in the afternoon. I wished they had miso soup to go with the gyoza, but oh well. Apparently, they hold regular concerts where you can enjoy music while drinking. I would like to come back when I want to relax. One adult and three children arrived at the café, with only the mom handling everything. The menu at the café seemed extensive, but as someone who doesn't usually visit cafes, I was unsure of what to order. Despite trying to prepare in advance, I couldn't figure out the popular dishes here, so I played it safe and ordered the large serving of Tarako spaghetti set (800 yen) with an additional 150 yen for extra noodles. They also had soba from Horokanai, which seemed easy to make even for a café, but I was a bit hesitant. The food was served in about 10 minutes. The dish was a pasta mixed with shimeji mushrooms and fried onions, soaked in a milk soup with tarako on top. It seemed like a fusion of Japanese and Western flavors, but the seasoning was quite bland, with only the salty taste of the tarako standing out. There were no condiments on the table for adjusting the flavor. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly, but it was not what I had expected for a Tarako spaghetti. The set also came with consommé soup, salad, and a drink, but they were nothing special. The neighboring table ordered the Rocket Curry. Although the building seemed to be one, the different sections did not seem connected, and the staff didn't seem very friendly. The regular customers seemed to order the 500, which was a steak dish not listed on the laminated menu but written on the daily special whiteboard. Overall, it was an average dining experience.

*Japanese-style cheese hamburger set (850 yen) I was curious about the gyoza here, but having gyoza for lunch is a bit... (laughs), so I ordered the hamburger set instead. During lunchtime, it comes with oolong tea or hot coffee. The hamburger with cheese on top and rice. It comes with spaghetti and salad as side dishes. It has a homely taste, nothing too special. But I felt like it really suits this place. The cute drawing of a dog, which seems to be the mascot, is adorable. The handwritten menus posted on the walls give a retro izakaya-like atmosphere...!! Even though we are about to enter the Reiwa era...!! (laughs) It seems like the place is run by a female owner, and she has a great personality... (laughs) The few customers inside seemed like regulars. The interior is not fancy at all (laughs), but the cost performance is good, and it's a lovely space that makes you feel warm. Next time, I will definitely try the gyoza!

A cozy ramen shop located between Toyohira Saburoku and Kikusui Station, near Ise no Jo and Sonshi, offers delicious ramen. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey, with handwritten menus and a selection of gyoza and beer. The crispy winged gyoza is juicy and well-cooked, showcasing the chef's skill. The restaurant also hosts regular live performances by artists, creating a community space for locals to enjoy good food and music together.

The soba noodles were delicious, especially when dipped in the flavorful dipping sauce.

I attended the April lunch meeting at a casual restaurant. After a mini concert, we all had lunch together. This time, I ordered the hamburger lunch. The hamburger was soft and well-mixed. There were more than 10 people present, and everyone ordered different dishes. The female owner seemed busy but handled everything efficiently. The coffee after the meal was delicious. Today, in February 2018, I attended a Bellini concert here. Unfortunately, I had some urgent matters in the morning and couldn't make it in time for the start of the concert. However, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the Bell musicians kindly played an encore for us. It was truly delightful and wonderful. I also had the opportunity to meet the music creator Daisuke Deinoh, who mentioned that this cafe is well-known among music enthusiasts. I am also a music lover, so it was interesting to hear that this cafe is considered a power spot, with a charming female owner. This time, I asked for the Horauchi 100% hand-made soba noodles in a large portion that caught my interest last time, but the elegant owner recommended the gyoza set instead. She mentioned that their gyoza is ranked 7th in Sapporo, so I gladly accepted her suggestion. I was delighted to find out that the cafe's soba noodles are 100% hand-made and come with soba broth. The soba had a strong flavor typical of 100% soba noodles, with a smooth and soft texture. The gyoza was meaty and flavorful, with a generous amount of garlic that I really enjoyed. I will definitely have to come back for dinner next time. I was quite hungry, and even though the food arrived quickly after I arrived, I was the first to finish eating, which was a bit embarrassing. I also noticed they serve hand-made soba noodles. The sauce was not too sweet and the fried rice was just right. I had coffee after the meal. I found this restaurant when I was having trouble finding a place to eat or park at various other shops. Their lunch menu includes spaghetti, hamburg steak, curry, and omurice. The omurice comes in regular and adult sizes, with the difference being that the regular one has ketchup while the adult one has demi-glace sauce. The regular omurice set costs 750 yen and comes with soup and a mini salad. There is a small amount of napolitan pasta on the omurice plate as a nice touch. The egg on the omurice is cooked well-done, which I like. Inside the omurice, there is chicken, shimeji mushrooms, green peppers, and onions mixed with the rice. The rice may be slightly firm. The mini salad consists of lettuce, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes. The soup is a bit bland, maybe consomme. After the meal, you can choose either coffee or oolong tea. I chose oolong tea.

I visited this shop that I found in the search results in this area. There is parking available for one car next to the shop. The interior used to be a coffee shop, but it has been nicely renovated with a counter and one table where you can relax. They invite guests about once a month and also hold live music events in the evening. Jazz music is playing in the background. On this day, the menu at the entrance recommended the "Handmade Hamburger," but the female owner suggested trying the "Gyoza Set (8 pieces for 800 yen)" and a "Hot Coffee (100 yen)." The gyoza arrived, and they were winged! I took a bite and was impressed by the crispy wings and juicy filling. The filling had a nice balance without being too strong, allowing the vegetable texture to come through. It was a bit watery due to the juicy filling, so I wished for a bit more soup-like flavor. I also had fried tofu and snow pea miso soup, rice, and pickles. The coffee that came with the set was decent for 100 yen. I heard that the handmade hamburger is made by mincing beef for 30 minutes, so I am looking forward to trying it next time. Since parking is limited, I will definitely visit again when the timing is right. I enjoyed the homemade winged gyoza. Thank you for the meal.

Welcome! A cafe or a set meal restaurant near Renaissance Hotel, close to Kikusui area in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo. Next to it, I found a curry place called Goonies. The cafe has a unique and spacious layout with a wide gap between the counter and tables. It's called "Ippuku" and offers a variety of set meals including rice dishes, pasta, curry, and gyoza. The atmosphere is charming and the food is delicious. I tried the crispy chicken wing gyoza set meal, which was flavorful and satisfying. The cold curry was surprisingly spicy, but still enjoyable. They also offer a drinking set, making it a great place to relax with some drinks in the evening. The staff were friendly and made the experience enjoyable. Thank you for the meal!

Three of us girls visited the restaurant. We ordered the hamburger set, mushroom and pork ginger rice bowl, and the weekly pasta set. We were tempted by the chicken wing gyoza and also ordered that. We enjoyed each dish, did some food sharing, and finished everything. The portions were generous, and the gyoza was especially delicious. The pork ginger rice bowl was a bit salty for my taste, but all the dishes felt made with love. Feeling satisfied, we also ordered a cake for dessert. We enjoyed the cheesecake made at a restaurant in Otaru. We would like to visit again.
