I'm running out of new places to have lunch, but I recently discovered a popular spot near NHK building. It's located in the basement next to Amen Senju. Even after 2 pm, there were still a few groups of customers, and the takeout orders kept coming in. You have to pay before you can place your order on the touch panel system, which was a bit confusing for me at first. For my first visit, I decided to try their signature Spice Curry with cheese topping and extra large portion. On weekdays, you can get a free upgrade to large rice until 2 pm. The portion of rice was not that big, but the curry was quite generous. The Spice Curry had a medium level of spiciness and a nice aroma of spices. The dish came with a large chicken leg, purple onion, summer vegetable pickles, and Fukujinzuke on the side. The chicken was tender and flavorful, perfect for chicken curry lovers. The pickles added a refreshing touch to the dish. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and I'm looking forward to trying their other dishes like Katsu Curry and Black Spicy Curry. I'll definitely come back before the snow starts falling!

Spicy curry (with a little extra rice, 250g) for 950 yen (On Fridays, curry is 100 yen off). As it was my first time, I chose the most popular menu item, which is the Chicken Leg Curry with plenty of sauce. During lunchtime, you can get a free rice upgrade up to 300g.

Stayed at Sapporo View Hotel. I was looking for a place to eat lunch nearby and remembered the spice curry that I haven't had in a while. During lunchtime, it's super crowded, so I went around 11:45 and managed to get a seat about 80% of the time. Phew! I bought the spice curry for 1050 yen and added a pork cutlet topping for 380 yen from the ticket machine. I asked for a bit more rice. When I met the pork cutlet curry, my excitement and appetite went up. The crispy pork cutlet dipped in the curry sauce was irresistible. The leg chicken in the center was so tender that I could easily shred it with a spoon. The more I ate, the more my appetite grew. I savored the spice flavors and finished it all in one go. I couldn't help but notice the cheese curry at the table next to me!

I had been curious about this place for a while, and since I had some errands nearby, I decided to have lunch there. I ordered the Special Curry, and it was really delicious. The spices were strong, so even in the air-conditioned restaurant, I broke out into a light sweat. It was full right after opening.

I heard that this restaurant is famous for its black spicy curry. It is located in the basement of a building, the third restaurant at the back. I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I ordered the katsu curry. I bought a meal ticket at the entrance and handed it to the staff at the counter seat. Although I was fifth in line to wait for the curry, it came out quite quickly. The curry was rich and the spiciness was about medium. The blend of ground meat and spices creates a unique flavor. It feels like it has a medicinal herb quality to it. It's quite delicious. The katsu is thin. The breadcrumbs are crispy, but when you pour the curry over it, the sharpness disappears. The curry is spice-focused but easy to eat. You can still taste the unique characteristics of the restaurant even with the katsu curry.

Spice curry at Nishi 9th Street. I've been to the ramen place next door before, but this is my first time here. Spice curry seems to be popular lately, but they've been serving it here for a long time. I bought a meal ticket and chose a seat. There was Fukujinzuke on the table. Do they put Fukujinzuke in spice curry here? Here it comes. The curry is filled to the brim. It doesn't have as much spice as I thought, but it's delicious. There's a big piece of chicken. It's tender and easily falls apart with a spoon. I added the Fukujinzuke. It goes well together. Mixed it all up and finished it. Thank you for the meal. The place next door still had a line.

- Spice Curry: 1,050 yen
The thin, soupy curry was reminiscent of soup curry, and at first it seemed like a lot, making me worry about the ratio with the rice. However, as I continued eating, it felt just right. The strong spice flavor was delicious in a classic way. The chicken leg on top added a satisfying bite.

After comparing various review sites, I decided that this place is good for beginners. I really don't like herbal cuisine or traditional Chinese medicine, but I do enjoy the spices in curry, especially on hot days. I used a map app to walk from Odori Station. The restaurant was not full, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The previous customers seemed to be discussing a lunchtime special with the owner. Unfortunately, I was not asked about my rice portion preference. I would have liked a little more if given the choice. I deducted one star because the confirmation process for customers varied. I ordered the popular spice curry without any toppings. When it arrived, I noticed a hint of herbal scent, but it wasn't overwhelming. The curry was delicious, not too spicy, and overall very enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the basement of the building at Odori West 8, Kuroiwa Curry Restaurant is known for their spicy curry dishes. I ordered the 1050 yen spicy curry and regretted not knowing I could have ordered extra rice. Although I'm not used to eating spicy curry, it was delicious! I heard that Harappi also has a good reputation for their spicy curry, so I would like to try it sometime. #Hokkaido #SpicyCurry #KuroiwaCurryRestaurant

Is it a spice curry boom? I had never experienced it before, so my first experience was at this restaurant. The visual presentation is beautiful. When I took a bite, I thought to myself, "Wow, this is delicious." I could feel the spiciness gradually, and my ears started to hurt a bit. Honestly, I'm not good with spicy food, so I took breaks while eating. It was great that I could eat as much Fukujinzuke as I wanted! The pickles were a nice touch. They were cut small, making them easy to eat with a spoon. They had just the right amount of tanginess. The rice was cooked perfectly - a bit firm! It went really well with the spicy curry. The chicken was tender and well-cooked. I don't like the soft part of the skin, so I avoided that. Eating the curry, rice, pickles all together was the best. Overall, the balance was great and it was delicious. If I ever feel like eating something spicy again, I'll come here. *I rarely crave spicy food, but in general, it was very tasty. People who are good with spicy food might find it easy. They might even prefer it even spicier. I felt like I ate a healthy curry! I want to try the curry cutlet next time! It looks so delicious. Thank you for the meal ★

The other day, I had a delightful lunch at Kuroiwa Curry Shop that I had been curious about for a while! I ordered the Spice Curry with a hot spring egg topping. The toppings are plentiful and the aroma of the spices is wonderful. The Spice Curry comes with a bone-in chicken, and the spicy sauce is appetizing. It was a bit less thick than I expected, but still delicious. They have several types of curry, so I think I can come back without getting tired of it. Thank you for the meal! It was delicious!

Lunch is 920 yen for katsu curry with free large serving. The katsu is fried after ordering, so it's crispy and fresh. The curry, even though not black curry, has a strong spice flavor that goes well with the rice. Lunchtime is very crowded, but if you come a little later, you can enter without waiting, so it's recommended to visit after 1 pm.

I had the Spice Curry for 1,050 yen. It was like a mix between a traditional curry and a watery spice curry. I felt more sweetness than the usual spiciness I had imagined. For those who want more heat, adding cayenne pepper from the table would be a good idea. It seems crowded during weekday lunchtime. Since it's a food ticket system, I might get lost in choosing, but all the other menu items looked delicious. I would like to come back to eat again.

During a visit at 11:50 on a regular day, I was a bit confused to find no other customers. However, the restaurant quickly filled up. This was my third visit, and this time I tried the "Soup Curry (1150 yen)" with a spice level of 3. The soup had a unique texture with floating pieces of dried seaweed, but it lacked richness and was a bit watery. The rice was cooked to my liking, slightly firm. There were plenty of ingredients in the curry, and the chicken was good, but the deep-fried broccoli was outstanding. Overall, I would give this soup curry a rating of 3.4 (spice level 3.9). It's clear that the specialty of this restaurant is their "Spice Curry". However, I still want to try their "Black Spicy Curry".

Today's lunch. This is my fourth time here. I have tried the pork cutlet curry, soup curry, and spice curry, but the spice curry is my favorite. The complex spices, juicy chicken, and well-balanced side dishes are all excellent. It's no wonder this place is so popular.

When I went down the stairs to the basement floor of the building at the end of lunchtime on May 1st, I saw a line of three people. I asked and found out it was for the ramen shop in front. As I proceeded to the back store, I encountered an unexpected ticket machine. With no time to consider, I asked the staff for advice and decided on the spice curry. It had a texture between a roux curry and soup curry, with a generous amount of spices but not too spicy. The chicken leg was tender and easily came off the bone, and I enjoyed it.

When I went to Sapporo, I tried to visit this restaurant a few times but it was often closed during long holidays. Finally, I was able to visit and tried the pork cutlet curry, which was delicious with a rich flavor. Next time, I want to try the spicy curry.

The restaurant did not have a parking lot and it was usually crowded on weekdays, so it was hard to visit. However, I visited for the first time today because it is Saturday. I ordered the spicy curry, which was very delicious with various spices. I would like to try other items on the menu as well.

I stopped by a spice curry restaurant near Odori Park during my business trip to Sapporo. Although I was tempted by the soup curry, I decided to order the recommended spice curry. The spiciness came on gradually and was irresistible! Adding a soft-boiled egg was the right choice. Normally there is a long line, but I was able to get in easily because it was a rainy day.

I visited this restaurant after seeing it featured multiple times on a local TV program in Hokkaido, and I have always wanted to try it. I savored each bite of the spiced curry, which had a captivating flavor that seemed to change with every mouthful. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Kuroiwa at the TV station in the past, and he was very kind to me, so I will continue to visit this place secretly.

My favorite curry restaurant is Ethiopia in Jinbocho. I visited this place in search of spiced curry, even though it seemed like an early time for a last order at 6:30 pm. I arrived around 6:15 pm on a weekday and there were 2 groups of customers already. I bought a ticket for the spiced curry! The owner carefully prepared the curry! It was ready in about 7-8 minutes! The bone-in chicken was tender and the spices were deep! It wasn't too spicy, but I started to sweat slowly... Delicious! Delicious! I enjoyed the sweetness of the vegetables and the various spices! Many people order the pork cutlet curry, but I have completely fallen in love with the spiced curry! I will be returning to Tokyo tomorrow! I'm torn between coming here again for lunch or heading to the airport early to buy corn bread! When I come to Sapporo, this is a restaurant I must visit.
