When you come to Sapporo, you must visit the sushi restaurant Nogami Sushi. Even after changing ownership, they still offer great value for money. I made a reservation for a counter seat about a week ago before visiting. It's been tough to get a seat without a reservation lately. I ordered the Chef's Selection of 16 pieces (6,600 yen including tax). Last time, I felt a bit full with 12 pieces, so this time I decided to challenge myself with 16 pieces. Each piece was expertly prepared, and I didn't even need to use the soy sauce dish. The highlights of the day were the scallop white liver and roe battleship sushi. They can only be enjoyed this season, and they melted in my mouth like a soft mousse, spreading sweetness. The grilled conger eel had a fluffy texture and was delicious, and the sweet shrimp miso was as tasty as ever. The miso soup had its usual refined taste, and the pickled ginger served with sweet vinegar and salt was so good that I couldn't stop eating it. I was very satisfied once again this time.

I made a reservation the day before and visited the restaurant at 12:00. This place was recommended by a friend and also selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. Hokkaido is blessed with great ingredients and is a popular tourist destination, so some may not put in much effort to make the food delicious because the ingredients are already good, and there are many tourists. Therefore, I think there are very few skilled and creative chefs here. Perhaps in Sapporo, it's better to go for conveyor belt sushi. I have to come to Sapporo for work, so I want to visit a delicious restaurant here. I ordered the omakase sushi set for 4980 yen, which included various types of sushi like flounder with salt, sea bass with salt, and more. My favorites were the mackerel, sea urchin from Yoichi, and sardine. This is a place that I personally love and want to recommend to my friends, so I will give it 5 stars on Instagram. Sea urchin is only available from June to August, so I have to make sure to come during that time every year. The sea urchin was so delicious that when I asked for seconds, they even brought out a different type of sea urchin. It was amazing! This time, I also tried the simmered octopus. It was served with a little bit of salt on the plate, allowing me to enjoy the natural flavor of the octopus. It was so delicious that I will definitely be ordering it again next time.

I visited this restaurant for lunch and it completely changed my concept of sushi! Before coming here, I always thought that fresher was better, but it seems that's not the case! They have some toppings that are aged for about two weeks to enhance the flavor. The quality of the sushi at this price point is amazing! It's so delicious!

Cost performance is good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is more friendly and approachable rather than luxurious! People who are not comfortable with the atmosphere of a high-end sushi restaurant can still enjoy themselves, and the taste is high-class sushi. In a time where some restaurants do not allow you to take photos, when I asked if it was okay to take photos here, they instructed me on how to take a good photo by saying, "If you hold your phone upside down and capture the sushi, it will look better." It was just as effective as extending your legs. The sushi was like a model. Thanks to the instruction, I was able to take good sushi photos and had a great time. Thank you. I especially liked the sushi with shrimp miso and the fragrant bonito. Even the most expensive course is cheap. If only the business hours were a bit longer... Thank you for the feast.

The Edo-style sushi, each piece carefully crafted, is the best part about this place. The best thing is definitely the cost performance, with an omakase set of 12 pieces for under 5,000 yen. I added octopus as an extra, and it was chewy and delicious. We ate in a private room instead of at the counter, and maybe that's why the rice seemed a bit dry, sticking to the plates. Sushi is definitely best enjoyed fresh at the counter.

I was lucky to get a seat on the same day when I called, it was the last one available! I didn't have much time so I opted for the nigiri set, and everything was delicious and satisfying. They mentioned that the sea urchin had just arrived, so I added that to my order. The staff engaged in conversation with an appropriate distance, making the atmosphere very pleasant. They mentioned that reservations can be made up to one month in advance, so I would like to come back and enjoy a leisurely meal next time. They are open until 7 pm, but they offer continuous service, so the in-between times are recommended.

The atmosphere is calm and the access from Sapporo is good. The amount of conversation with the chef is just right, not too much or too little. Even though I usually don't like shellfish (like ark shells and scallops), they were surprisingly delicious in Hokkaido. Prices are more reasonable compared to Tokyo, and the sea urchin was amazing.

About two weeks ago, I made a phone reservation for a weekday lunch. The restaurant was almost full. I had the chef's choice set menu for 6,600 yen. They checked the size of the sushi rice first. The atmosphere of the local sushi restaurant was great, and the staff were nice. It was nice to have two types of pickled ginger. The quality for the price of 6,600 yen was amazing. The flavors were well thought out and unique.

It is quite difficult to find a sushi restaurant in Sapporo that is open for lunch. However, there is Kin Sushi, a long-established sushi restaurant where you can usually get a seat even without a reservation. It is recommended to make a reservation just to be safe. They offer a variety of delicious sushi options such as hirame, hotate, maguro, kanpachi, ika, chutoro, lightly seared with daikon and soy sauce, topped with green onion, aji, iwashi, ikura, uni, ebi, and anago.

When I come to Sapporo, I always make sure to visit a sushi restaurant, and this time it was my first visit to "Kinzushi." I made a same-day reservation, and even though I arrived much earlier than the reservation time, they kindly accommodated me. The staff were very friendly, and I am grateful for that. I ordered the "Chef's Choice Sushi (12 pieces) for 4950 yen" and the "Chef's Choice Sushi (16 pieces) for 6600 yen" which came with miso soup. The scallops and surf clams were exquisite! The other sushi items were also fresh and delicious, and for this price, it's really a great value restaurant. It seems that it's difficult to get a counter seat without an early reservation, but table seats are relatively easier to reserve. I would like to sit at the counter next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Great cost performance! The fresh Hokkai scallops are delicious. I went to the famous "Kinzushi" in Sapporo, which is known for its good cost performance among locals. It's a popular place, so it's hard to get a reservation at the counter, but I managed to get a table reservation for a slightly different time on the same day. I arrived much earlier than the reservation time, but they kindly let me in. I ordered the chef's choice sushi (12 pieces for 4950 yen or 16 pieces for 6600 yen), which came with a fish broth soup and pickles. It was delicious and had a good cost performance. I especially enjoyed the fresh Hokkai scallops, which are typical of Hokkaido. The two types of pickled ginger served were also delicious. Even though Hokkaido has high-quality and delicious conveyor belt sushi restaurants, I always end up spending quite a bit after trying various items. Considering that, I think this place, with its traditional sushi counter, offers really good cost performance.

A friend brought me to this place, and we visited at 5:30 pm. Despite being a weekday evening, the counter was full. We ordered a few small dishes and then went with the chef's choice course. Each dish we were explained had the chef's unique touch. I would definitely want to visit again when I'm in Sapporo.

I visited Kin Sushi during my trip in March, and I never expected to revisit so soon. This time, my business trip almost revolves around this restaurant, although it may be disrespectful to the client, it's the truth. The omakase course of 16 pieces for 6050 yen is unbeatable. Each piece of sushi is meticulously crafted, and they are all fantastic. The way they sear the sushi is exquisite, with a subtle smoky flavor. Hokkaido's Sea of Japan side Bafun Uni is usually available from June, but in Yoichi, it was available from May 25, so I was able to enjoy Uni. Lately, I often see sushi with just Uni on top of the rice, but this time, the Uni was inside the rice. I've never seen anything like it. It may be due to limited supply, but their continuous innovation is what makes Kin Sushi outstanding. I vow to make every effort to schedule another business trip to Sapporo.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. It's located just a few minutes' walk from the bus center station. It's a bit far to walk from Odori or Susukino, so I hadn't been able to come before, but I finally made it this time. Maybe because it was a weekday, I was able to make a reservation even when I called the evening before. However, they said the reservation was only available from 5:30 pm. They mentioned that if you shift your reservation time away from peak hours, it's relatively easy to get a booking. As for the sushi, I ordered the 16-piece chef's choice set. Everything was delicious, but especially the sea urchin, tuna, and salmon roe were amazing! The atmosphere of the restaurant was also calm and nice.

Introduced by a friend. Starting with the appetizers, the chef's choice nigiri set was excellent. Each appetizer was meticulously prepared and delicious. I wish I had kept a record of all the dishes... The quality at this price point is fantastic. We also had plenty of drinks and the total bill for two came to 31,460 yen.

I had a reasonably priced 12-piece sushi set on this day. The fish was fresh but relatively light in flavor. The Thai and scallop were delicious, and it was interesting to try the scallop's white liver and egg, which was a unique experience. The rice was firm in texture and slightly more than usual. I recommend asking for less rice if you are a woman.

There are no appetizers, just sashimi and chawanmushi. Mostly just sushi. It's nice that you can order a la carte. I keep ordering my favorite toppings one after another. It feels like it used to be even more delicious... Maybe they focus on Hokkaido toppings, as there's no sea urchin available off-season. As a sea urchin lover, that's disappointing. Last order is at 7 pm, so it's good to have a second place in mind.
