I finished work early and decided to have a late lunch. I was thinking of having Genghis Khan at Aji no Higashiyama, but suddenly remembered their price increase starting from March 16th, so I changed my plans and headed to the building where Akame no Oyaji-san is located. I remembered seeing on Instagram that they had raised their prices by 400 yen. They used to be open until midnight before the pandemic, making it hard for me to visit, but now they are open from 12 pm to 9 pm, which is more convenient. There was one customer at the counter when I arrived. Despite the additional charge for the appetizer, I couldn't resist the temptation of alcohol and ordered a lemon sour. The appetizer was sliced dried radish for 300 yen. Whenever I come here, I always order the Oyster Butter set meal, but this time I decided to try the Salmon Rare Katsu once, only to change it back to the Oyster Butter set meal. I changed the miso soup to pork miso soup and the white rice to multigrain rice. Soon, the Oyster Butter set meal arrived, looking as delicious as ever. The oysters were plump and juicy, and the butter sauce was incredibly tasty. The cabbage with butter sauce was also delicious, truly unlimited cabbage! The pork miso soup was flavorful and filled with ingredients, and the appetizer was tasty as well. Oh, the lemon sour was delicious too! Overall, it was still delicious as always. Thank you for the meal! Maybe next time, I'll finally try the Salmon Rare Katsu set meal!

The oyster butter grilled dish on the menu was out of stock. It was very disappointing. I waited in line before the store opened but couldn't eat it. Instead, I had ginger pork, salmon cutlet, and miso-marinated mackerel. The ginger pork was different from the usual, like a large piece of braised pork. The salmon cutlet was served half-cooked. The miso-marinated mackerel was from Norway and served as a half fillet. The miso-marinated mackerel was just okay. Thank you for the meal.

Today's dinner. I had some work left, so I went to a set meal restaurant. I wasn't planning on drinking alcohol, but they had a one drink minimum. I ordered the Oyster Butter Yaki for 2200 yen. Reluctantly got a 500 yen highball. They brought an appetizer without asking for 300 yen. I don't like offal, so I didn't want it. I would have preferred another highball instead. The set meal took a surprisingly long time to arrive... The kitchen shouldn't be busy since they weren't cooking. It was a really awkward experience. Probably just a tactic to get customers to order more drinks. If that's the case, they should just be an izakaya, not a set meal restaurant. The Oyster Butter was delicious, but the rice was surprisingly bad. Maybe I'm just not used to rice cooked in a rice cooker since I usually use a pot. But seeing the rice cooker display 4 hours had passed... Well, it's a set meal restaurant, so it can't be helped. It's just a shame that the rice wasn't tasty. Hokkaido rice seems like it would be delicious. The worst part was when other customers loudly said "Thank you for the meal!" as they were leaving, but all the staff completely ignored them. The fact that the staff couldn't even say "Thank you" is the worst impression. The customers must have left with a terrible impression of the restaurant. Customer service is the most important in food service. Be sure to make eye contact and say "Thank you" next time. Of course, there was no "Thank you" for me either. "Thank you for the meal."

Sapporo Chuo-ku/Susukino N Grand Building B1 floor After eating and drinking all you can at a certain restaurant, we decided to end the night with a late-night meal at a deep night restaurant. Ordered: - Thick ginger pork set meal 1900 (with extra rice) - Premium Malt's beer 600 - Highball 500 With the appetizer included, the total came to 3300. We enjoyed the beef stew and beer while waiting leisurely. Last time we had the thick pork cutlet, so this time we tried the ginger pork. The meat was so thick and tender! The service was also faster than expected. There were five different side dishes, which made me want to order another highball. The highball had a strong carbonation and tasted great. Of course, it was delicious. I want to eat more and make my stomach even fuller and happier! I left feeling content and happy, and I will definitely come back again. Next time, maybe I'll try the buttered oysters. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much!

In Sapporo, Chuo-ku, there is a restaurant called Akame no Oyaji located in the basement of N Grande. During the pandemic, their operating hours were uncertain, but I recently visited after a long time. I ordered the Salmon Rare Cutlet set with extra rice, and couldn't resist ordering the Oyster Butter as well. The miso soup was delicious, but I was also tempted by the pork miso soup. As always, the food was delicious and the quality was high. The rice just kept disappearing. Thank you for the meal! It is located on the B1 floor of a building near Susukino. It has a late-night diner vibe, but all the dishes were excellent. The fatty tuna, salmon, butter-grilled oysters, thick pork ginger, and colorful salmon rare cutlet were all delicious. You can order them individually, or as a set meal with side dishes, rice, and miso soup. Thank you for the meal.

Susukino area. Monday to Thursday 5pm to midnight Friday 5pm to 11pm Saturday 12pm to 9pm Lunch time will end at the end of July Sunday is available Other irregular holidays Cash payment only, electronic cigarettes allowed in the store A top-rated set meal restaurant in Sapporo! This is my second visit, and I was a bit hesitant because I thought the flavors were strong, but my wife requested it, so we visited this time. When I joined my wife, it was my third stop. I've been eating less lately, and even though I want to drink, I can't handle much alcohol. It's a long weekend and I'm feeling great, but my stomach is tight... The restaurant is full of young couples, with few older folks (laughs), and it's crowded! However, everyone is quietly eating and chatting. Maybe the atmosphere of the restaurant encourages good manners. It's very calming♪ I visited the restaurant with high expectations, but my stomach was tight, so I ordered: ◆Oyster Butter Set Meal (¥2200) ◆Ginger Pork (¥1300) ◆Oolong Tea (¥200) The set meal comes with 5 small side dishes, shredded cabbage, and potato salad. [Oyster Butter] It has a typical seasoning with salt, pepper, flour-coated with butter, soy sauce, and a hint of sweetness, maybe mirin. The butter is generous, making it a bit rich. Squeezing lemon adds a refreshing touch. The oysters are large, plump, and tender inside, very delicious! [Ginger Pork] This is the menu I tend to avoid the most based on the photos, but it was my wife's choice. It does look appetizing in general. However, the boiled pork slices and heavily seasoned pork belly are a bit too intense. Even my wife struggled to eat it (sweat). The only good thing is the beautiful presentation. It's difficult to make them all look so neat due to the grilling process. [Rice] Fluffy and sweet, very delicious! [Soup] It's like a clear soup without miso, more like kenchin-jiru. The umami from burdock, shimeji, and shiitake mushrooms is surprisingly strong. The well-drained aburaage also adds richness, a bit strong for us but very delicious! My favorite dish. It's too delicious♡ [Eggplant Simmered in Soy Sauce] The flavor is overpowering, and both of us couldn't finish it. [Tsubozuke] Good flavor and texture, very tasty. [Mashed Natto and Okra] Mixed with dashi soy sauce. The flavor is just right, very tasty. [Blanched Greens] Komatsuna and shimeji mushrooms, a bit strong but good flavor. [Bean Sprouts and Egg Salad] The flavor is just right. It felt like an oasis in the desert. [Shredded Cabbage] Especially the ginger pork one is too salty, can't eat with the sauce. The oyster butter one is edible. [Potato Salad] It would have been better without the sauce. [Oolong Tea] Refreshing, helps wash away the heaviness. [Overall] Personally, I find it disappointing that they promote health with one soup and three side dishes but have excessive salt content. Perhaps many young people think it's delicious because of the strong flavors. Those under 20 are not allowed to enter (*´艸`*) The staff would be angry if they saw them (sweat). I hope this opinion can be helpful as a reference. Thank you for the meal.

【Red-eyed Old Man】・Amazing! Oyster Butter Set Meal ¥2,200・Highball ¥500・Appetizer ¥300Located in the N Grande Building B1F in Susukino, Sapporo, this restaurant comes highly recommended by S, who works in the same industry. The Oyster Butter Set Meal is a must-try. Despite the underground atmosphere in the basement food court, the interior of the restaurant exudes a clean and tidy izakaya-like ambiance. S highly recommends the Oyster Butter, with plump and large oysters that are rare and packed with the delicious flavor of oysters! So delicious!! The luxurious set meal also includes side dishes like natto and simmered eggplant, and the clear soup is also delicious, but even if it's just the oyster butter and rice, it's worth the same price! Another review mentioned that the oysters are from Akkeshi, but I wonder if these oysters are also from Akkeshi. Too good... It goes well with a highball, it's the best! This is the first time I've had such a delicious oyster dish!! #SusukinoGourmet #RedEyedOldMan #OysterButter #OysterButterSetMeal #RareGrilledOysters #AlmostRawOysters #PersonalGourmetMemoir #FoodEatingRecord

Budget: 2400 yen Thick-cut! Standout Ginger Pork I went because the ginger pork looked delicious on Instagram. It was a unique ginger pork cut into six pieces, with a chunky appearance. It seemed to be pork belly. Depending on the location, it can be quite fatty (or rather, only fatty). But it wasn't heavy. The sauce was sweet and went well with rice and cabbage. Eating it with mayonnaise adds to the junkiness. There wasn't much ginger flavor. The accompanying potato salad was sweet and quite delicious. There were also many other side dishes included. The salmon rare cutlet was delicious and not just visually appealing. However, it seemed a bit lacking in volume. I ordered a drink since it was night, but it seems like you could do without. It's located in a strange izakaya building-like underground corner in Susukino, but there were only female and couple customers around.

I filled my stomach before drinking in Sapporo at night. The restaurant is located in a building in the back of the Nikka building in Susukino, where there are many bars. I arrived on a weekend night after 7:00 PM and had to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated due to it being full. I ordered the "Oyster Butter Set Meal" (2200 yen). I was torn between the Hokkaido-style "Salmon Rare Cutlet" but after reading other reviews, I was convinced that I had to try the "Oyster Butter". It took about 20 minutes for the dish to be served, possibly because of the orders piling up, but the staff were working efficiently so I didn't feel like I was kept waiting. And then, the moment of truth. Five large oysters were sitting right in front of me. As soon as I took a bite, the fragrant butter aroma and juicy oyster broth filled my mouth. It was amazing, and I quickly finished it all. The clear soup was also delicious, making it a very satisfying dinner. I had so many things I wanted to try this time, and I even passed up the Genghis Khan restaurant in Susukino that I always go to in order to try this place, and it was a big hit.

I found an incredible menu in Sapporo, Chuo-ku, Hokkaido, but it took me a while to finally visit. I went underground and found it - the Thick Ginger Pork set meal for ¥1,900. Yes, it's ginger pork, not braised pork. I had decided based on my first impression, and it was a dish I wanted to confess my love to "Neru Tonbari". The thick pork was well seasoned, and it was really delicious. The flavor was rich but not overpowering, and it went well with the rice. The texture was great, not tough at all, and it was very satisfying to eat. I was also happy with the variety of small side dishes - eggplant, glass noodles, okra, all showing the chef's dedication to the set meal. The flavors were gentle and kind. It was a wonderful set meal that conveyed thoughtfulness. There were many other menu options that made me want to try them all. I imagined they were all hearty dishes. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

I don't want to go back feeling on the last night in Sapporo. I have to fly back tomorrow, so I'm going to drink a lot today! So, I went to Akame no Oyaji around 9pm on Friday. There were about 7 other customers already seated. I ordered the Kaki Butter and a side of stir-fried leeks. For drinks, I got a lemon sour. The stir-fried leeks looked nice and tasted great with alcohol. Then the Kaki Butter arrived. It looked delicious, and the taste was rich. It went well with rice, and of course, with the lemon sour too. Dipping the cabbage in the sauce made it even better. The potato salad was unexpectedly delicious too. Thank you for the meal.

Hokkaido oysters are refreshing and plump, with a feeling of high-quality protein. Butter soy sauce is delicious and goes perfectly with rice. The meal comes with soup and side dishes, making it great for dinner or as an izakaya option.

On the second day of my first trip to Sapporo, I visited a restaurant that I had tried to go to the day before but found it closed. This time it was open, and I was able to enjoy the "Oyster Butter Set Meal" made with large oysters from Akkeshi. The oysters were plump and had a satisfying texture. The buttery flavor didn't overpower the natural taste of the oysters, allowing me to fully appreciate their deliciousness. The miso soup and two side dishes were subtly seasoned, complementing the main dish perfectly. It was like a work of art, a truly exquisite set meal. Thank you for the meal! (人´∀`)

I visited a restaurant recommended by my regular hairdresser, where I heard that the rare fried oysters and salmon were delicious. Even before the restaurant opened, there were already four young customers waiting outside. While waiting for the oysters, I enjoyed sipping on a highball. The appetizer of hijiki seaweed had a strong and distinct flavor, perfect for pairing with alcohol in small amounts. When the oysters arrived, I was impressed by their size and juiciness. They were delicious! But it wasn't just the oysters that were tasty. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the side dishes had a gentle and lightly salted flavor. It was a great combination with the rice and alcohol. It's a great restaurant. I'm grateful to my hairdresser for recommending it... I will definitely be going back.

■Late-night dining at Akame no Oyaji Susukino, a late-night restaurant in Susukino known for its red-eyed old man. The opening hours used to be midnight, truly a late-night eatery, but when I visited, it was from 5 pm due to the impact of the pandemic. Currently, they are open from 12 pm. "Convenience store bento is good, but let's have a meal with one soup and three side dishes once in a while," a phrase from the owner that gives off a late-night eatery vibe. ■Salmon Rare Cutlet Set Ordered the Salmon Rare Cutlet set, with a beautifully bright red cross-section. It comes with three small side dishes and pickles. Cabbage shredded with pumpkin salad adds a good balance. The Salmon Rare Cutlet is almost raw. The thickness is irresistible. Squeezing lemon over the thin coating, I first tried it with the sauce. The fat melts with heat, giving a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The rich sauce flavor makes the rice go down smoothly. ■Akkeshi Oyster Butter Couldn't decide between the Salmon Rare Cutlet and the Akkeshi Oyster Butter, so I ended up adding it separately. Despite being cooked, it's still this big. The aroma of butter and soy sauce is amazing. The rich flavor bursting in your mouth is irresistible. It's a hearty meal for late-night dining, but a place worth visiting.

We visited as a group of four and tried the oyster butter, salmon fry, and grilled mackerel. Everything was delicious and we would like to come back again. The oyster butter was more lightly seasoned compared to a certain restaurant in Yotsuya, but you can still taste the richness of the oysters and enjoy it with rice until the end. The salmon fry had a rare center, creating an interesting contrast between the hot outer coating and the cold inside. It's perfect when eaten with soy sauce or tartar sauce. The grilled mackerel was perfectly fatty and delicious. The small dishes were also carefully made and tasty, making the overall cost performance high. We will definitely visit again.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday in April, aiming for the opening time of 12:00 pm. It is located in the basement of a building with various shops, so there were hardly any people around during the day. I arrived at the location at 11:50 am, and there were no customers ahead of me. At the opening time, there were only five people waiting in line, which was a bit disappointing considering I had expected a long line based on reviews on Tabelog. I ordered the "Oyster Butter Set Meal" for 2,200 yen and changed the miso soup to pork soup for an additional 200 yen. The set meal came with a variety of side dishes, which seemed like something women would enjoy. However, the oyster butter didn't meet my high expectations. The oysters were large, but they were not cooked thoroughly and had a raw-like texture. I had imagined a crispy coating with a concentrated oyster flavor, so I was slightly disappointed. On the other hand, changing the miso soup to pork soup was a great decision. The soup had thick slices of pork and plenty of vegetables, making it a satisfying dish. Two groups of regular customers ordered the "Ginger Pork Set Meal," which seemed to be a better choice than the visually appealing "Oyster Butter" or "Salmon Rare Cutlet."

It was a bit difficult to find for a first-timer. The restaurant is located in the basement of a building! The oyster butter is incredibly creamy and delicious. The side dishes like miso soup and pickles are also tasty. I'm looking forward to my next visit. I really want to try the salmon rare cutlet. There are other delicious-looking menu items, so ordering a lot of individual dishes to try might be a good idea.

The popular restaurant, which originally opens at midnight, is now offering lunch during the pandemic. The opening hours are gradually changing. Visited at 12:20 on a weekday and about 80% of the seats were already taken. Surprisingly, there were 8 people waiting outside when leaving. Many young female customers, possibly tourists, were present, likely influenced by social media. The restaurant, located in the basement of a building, has counter and table seats. Orders are taken orally. I ordered the "Thick Oyster Butter Set Meal from Akkeshi (1800 yen)" which has rice, miso soup, 2 small side dishes, and pickles. The price has increased to 2200 yen from March 16th. The dish took about 25 minutes to arrive, with 6 large oysters and 4 small side dishes (though the menu lists 2). The thick oysters had less starch and butter compared to other famous oyster butter restaurants, allowing the natural umami flavor of the oysters to shine through when bitten into. It was delicious! The rice and miso soup were also tasty, making the set meal very satisfying. The service, including the part-time staff, was polite. Considering the quality of the oysters, the cost performance is not bad. However, with the recent price increase (+400 yen), it may be a bit on the higher side. The extremely thick ginger pork and salmon rare cutlet also seem popular, and there are many other tempting menu items. I would love to try them while enjoying some drinks. But if they go back to their original midnight opening, it might be tough for an old guy like me...
