I ordered half-sized soy sauce ramen and spicy miso ramen. Personally, I prefer soy sauce. Of course, the spicy miso is also delicious, but soy sauce is better. It has an old-fashioned taste, but the soup is rich and delicious. It goes perfectly with the noodles. The spicy miso could be a bit stronger in flavor. I'm curious about the wontons. Since this restaurant is only in Asahikawa Ramen Village, I would like to come back again.

Asahikawa Ramen Village. Surprisingly, there were a lot of tourists from overseas visiting. Every place had lines or was full even without them, very busy... and something surprising was happening right in front of me... I wonder where they came from... I don't know what language they're speaking... Later, when I asked the staff, they said there were many Chinese and Thai people. Maybe some are from Taiwan too. They seem to have come from Chitose Airport, not directly from Asahikawa. They're lining up... The popular Tenkin in the back had a line. This time, I decided to go to Ishida, which I hadn't been to in 14 years. Luckily, there was no line. But... it was packed inside. Since I was alone, I was able to sit at the counter right away. The menu at popular places for tourists has English and Chinese characters written besides Japanese. Chinese and Taiwanese people can probably read both. By the way, the same Chinese characters are different from Japanese ones. There is no other language translation for toppings. So... these toppings are probably rarely added by foreigners. It's delicious with butter. Soy Sauce & Small Rice Soy sauce ramen is 800 yen, there was no mention of small rice, but since rice is 150 yen, maybe small rice is 100 yen. Despite being a tourist spot, ramen village is relatively inexpensive, right? Wow, Ishida's ramen after 14 years. It felt like seeing it for the first time. Toppings were chashu, green onions, and menma. The chashu was pork shoulder, well-flavored. The menma was thin. It's surprisingly light despite its appearance. The soy sauce taste itself is strong, like burnt soy sauce. However... I felt a certain acidity. I wondered what this acidity was. I thought it was only at first, but I felt the acidity quite strongly until the end. Curly noodles The noodles are low hydration curly noodles. They match well with the soup. Towards the end, the noodles absorb moisture and become slightly chewy. When I was seated at the counter at first, someone who was leaving didn't close the door in this freezing cold weather. I went to close it myself. Then the owner told me there was a seat open at the back and I could sit there. He's not a stubborn old man as described on the Ramen Village website... to me, he was a very kind uncle. And... the foreigner next to me who was seated before me didn't show any signs of eating the ramen. Instead, he slowly took out something from a bag that looked like an eco bag... Could it be true? A piece of bread, and it seemed to be spread with margarine or something. Furthermore, a drink that looked unfamiliar, like orange. Are you going to... eat this? I was shocked. He ate it normally. The lady in the back had finished her ramen, waiting for the man to finish his bread. Additionally, despite being busy, the owner was taking pictures from the kitchen. He's not a stubborn old man... he's a very generous-hearted shop owner, I thought. But this... is quite bad manners, I thought. Is it the fault of this person or this country... what I understood is that Ishida is a kind shop. Thank you for the meal. ⇒ ◇ The ramen has a sour taste, feeling the bitterness of soy sauce ◇

I had some errands to run nearby, so I decided to stop by "Asahikawa Ramen Village." Depending on the day of the week, the number of open shops can vary, and on this day, only four shops were open until evening. It was a bit lonely despite being bustling during the day. I visited this shop in June and enjoyed their delicious "Pork Belly Ramen" and great customer service, so I decided to stop by again. Unlike many shops in Ramen Village that are branches of famous shops, this one is a standalone shop. During my previous visit, I was curious about their spicy ramen. I ordered the "Spicy Miso Ramen" (900 yen). Although I was tempted by the Gyoza and Ramen (soy sauce, miso, or salt) set for 1,200 yen, I stuck to my initial choice of the spicy miso ramen. There was no wait, and my order arrived in about 5-6 minutes. I took a sip of the soup, and the spiciness was quite satisfying. I could also taste the mildness of the miso within the heat. The noodles were thin, curly noodles from Fujiwara Seimen, the chashu was pork belly, the menma was salt-free, and the only other topping was green onions, keeping it relatively simple. I think having simple toppings enhances the enjoyment of the spiciness in this ramen. This "Spicy Miso Ramen," along with the "Pork Belly Ramen" I had last time, and the "Petit Wonton Ramen," seem to be positioned as the shop's "Original Ramen." I would like to try the Wonton Ramen next time!

This is "Ishida" ramen shop in Asahikawa Ramen Village. Unlike most of the shops in the ramen village which are branches of famous shops, this one seems to be a standalone store. I visited around 6 PM on a weekday, not a busy time, so there was no one else in the shop except for one customer. The owner and staff were very friendly, offering us water and saying "just let us know when you're ready to order." Looking at the menu, I decided to try something different and ordered the "Pork Belly Ramen" (1,100 yen). It's not common to find ramen with pork belly in it. The base flavor is "shoyu" but you can also choose salt or miso. The ramen arrived in about 6-7 minutes. The pork belly was very tender, almost like a thickly sliced, tenderly braised chashu. The owner mentioned that they use pork belly for this dish. The menma was salted, and instead of a boiled egg, there was a seasoned soft-boiled egg. The noodles were medium-thin curly noodles from Fujiwara Seimen, and the soup seemed to be a pork bone broth. The clear and clean soup complemented the rich flavor of the pork belly well. Although the price was a bit high at over 1,000 yen, I thought the pork belly was really delicious!

On Thursday evening, on the way from the city to Asahikawa Airport, we stopped by a ramen village since our original plan to go to Hachiya was not possible. We wanted to try a unique shop, but the one we aimed for was still preparing even though it was past 5 PM. We ended up choosing a shop that was only available there, Umemitsuken. There were no other customers yet, so we ordered soy sauce ramen and gyoza. The visual presentation showed a rich broth with a pile of noodles, typical of Asahikawa ramen. The taste was average, with no particular standout features, and the noodles were a bit too soft. However, the gyoza was delicious, hot, and crispy.

It would be more elegant and easier to eat if it was a little lighter. However, the flavor is still rich enough. The staff are attentive and quick to refill water, making it a lovely restaurant!

It's been a while since I visited Asahikawa. It was past lunchtime and I was feeling hungry, so I decided to go to Ramen Village. I hadn't been to Ichihiro before, so I chose to eat there. I ordered the Shoyu Chashu ramen as a reward for driving. The appearance was ordinary. The soup was clear and refreshing, but the shoyu flavor was a bit strong. The noodles were just regular curly noodles, and overall, there wasn't anything particularly unique about it. The biggest issue was that the chashu had a slight unpleasant odor. That's it for my review.

I had work in the Asahikawa Nagayama area on this day. It was lunchtime, so I went to Ramen Village. Ramen Village is a commercial facility with 8 ramen shops in Asahikawa. I went to "Ishida," the only shop in Ramen Village without a chain affiliation. I ordered the spicy miso ramen. The noodles were curly noodles that paired well with the miso. It wasn't extremely spicy, but the specially blended spicy sauce mixed with a little chili oil created a flavorful soup that, when mixed with the noodles, gave a slightly spicy sensation. It's a ramen with a lingering umami taste from the miso's richness and sweetness.

This is Ishida Asahikawa. I've been coming to Asahikawa quite a bit this year, so I won't be able to come until the weekend, but my wife wants to come. If she wants to come, it would be nice if she could also look for a restaurant in advance. Saturdays are often late days, so I haven't decided on anything yet. "Is ramen okay?" My notes only have ramen shops written on them! Today is "Ishida" at Ramen Village. I used to avoid Republic, Dojo, and Village, but I tried the two shops in the village and they were delicious. The reason is that when I went to the ramen shop that was written in the leaflet, it turned out to be "Ramen Village." It wasn't written that it was in the village, and even when I searched on Tabelog for "Ramen Village," that shop didn't come up. I had no other shops to go to, and my wife was getting louder and louder. She said she wanted a small size, but when we entered the shop, she felt like having a regular size. Is it a counter? I was told it was a two-person seat, but I'm fine with the counter. The L-shaped counter has about 10 seats. The wall has bench seats and the tables can move, so it's very flexible. There are three staff members, two men and one woman. The "shoyu ramen" and "shio ramen" are 700 yen, which is very reasonable compared to Republic and Dojo. It took about 10 minutes. Oh, and the large size is free, but it's not good for your health. The appearance looks like it's worth more than 700 yen. The noodles are not Asahikawa-style, not low in water content, and slightly thinner than usual. The menma is thin and salted, but I'm fine with it rather than doing extra work. The chashu is thin and seasoned with red meat. The taste is old-fashioned and strong. The shoyu ramen arrived. It doesn't look like Asahikawa-style. The shoyu is strong but not overpowering. It feels like a novice ramen these days. I don't dislike it, but I wouldn't specifically order it. The salt soup is light with sesame floating in it. I can feel the sesame oil, but it doesn't stand out, which is good. It's light and doesn't have a strong umami or richness. If I were to say, "This shop is all about salt!" I would give it a score of 3.3. My wife thinks the salt is 3.0 and the shoyu is 3.2. It's not a score to complain about, so I'll accept it.

I ordered the 567 coupon's Shoyu Ramen. It was served within 5 minutes of ordering. The soup looked clear. The shoyu flavor was strong but not overwhelming. The menma was thin and had been desalted. The noodles were not like Asahikawa ramen, but were curly and had a good texture. The chashu was made from pork shoulder. It was tasty overall, with a good balance of flavors.

[First Visit on June 11, 2020] After receiving the necessary permit in Tomakomai for work, I enjoyed a solo yakiniku lunch at "Tokyo Hormone" in Yuni-cho along Route 234. Then, I got on the highway from Iwamizawa IC to head towards Asahikawa. I finished submitting my bid participation application in Asahikawa around 2:40 PM, so I decided to prioritize my mission and my wife's request. I bought some sake at "The Sun Kurando Main Store" and cornets at "Rotel de Hokkuru Club Main Store." By this time, it was around 3:20 PM, and I was feeling a bit hungry again. I had refrained from eating more meat at Tokyo Hormone, so I was craving for a new ramen experience in Asahikawa. I headed to "Asahikawa Ramen Village," where 3 out of the 8 shops were still open around 3:30 PM. I chose to visit "Asahikawa Ramen Ishida," a shop without any affiliated branches among the 8. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen (¥700 tax included) and declined the free extra noodles due to the time. The Shoyu Ramen arrived in about 6 minutes, featuring a medium-rich soup with a hint of fat, thin slices of chashu, thin menma, and green onions on top, exuding a simple and nostalgic deliciousness. The rich soup made from simmering pork bones, the perfect balance of shoyu sauce, and the low-water, thin, curly noodles from Fujiwara Seimen combined to create a truly delicious dish. I have tried five other Asahikawa ramen shops before, and while the taste of others may have been better, Ishida scored the highest in terms of overall customer service and value for money. It was a satisfying meal. #AsahikawaGourmet #LonelyGourmetOnBusinessTrip #AsahikawaRamen #AsahikawaRamenIshida #ShoyuRamen #PorkBone #PorkKnee #FreeExtraNoodles #Don'tLoseToCorona #EatToSupport #Let'sDoOurBestHokkaido #YummyYummy @Asahikawa Ramen Ishida

It's a clear soup with light and healthy straight noodles ramen. I tried it at a place I haven't been before in the ramen village... It seemed good for the body and I could easily drink up the soup. The chashu was soft and delicious. You can also order a half portion for food hopping. Thank you for the meal!

One of the attractions of Asahikawa is the Asahikawa Ramen Village, where various ramen shops are gathered in one restaurant district. It was crowded with a lot of people during the long weekend, with lines forming in front of the shops. Some shops looked familiar from Kansai. I wanted to try a popular shop listed on Tabelog, but the lines were too long! Since I had another appointment, I ended up going to a relatively empty shop without a line (^_^;) When it comes to Asahikawa ramen, the image is of shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, so I ordered shoyu ramen. The shoyu ramen that came out had a simple soy sauce-based soup with thick curly noodles. The soup had a strong flavor, which was a bit different from my preference (^_^;) If I had more time, I would have liked to try the ramen shops with lines, but I'll save that for next time (^-^)

Surprisingly delicious, I was a bit surprised (,,>᎑<,,) Huh? Was that rude? Haha The ramen mood of the day was simple! What should I do... At this time, Nissho-san is definitely closed and empty... right... ( ˊᵕˋ ;) I was nearby so I decided to visit Hokkaido House for the first time in a while, it's quite tasty and safe, right? But you know, why not go all out and try Ramen Village? So, I decided to visit "Ishida" in this village! [Bean Sprout Salt Ramen] ♬ 700 yen They arrived quickly and efficiently, with a flowing rhythm. They seemed to be experienced in dealing with group customers and peak times. I watched as they boiled one portion of noodles and bean sprouts together in a "tebo" pot. The fact that "bean sprouts" are specifically mentioned on the menu means they must be confident, right? The noodles in the kitchen were from Fujihara-san, they are thin so they match well with the bean sprouts. And this soup ♬ goes well with the bean sprout ramen (*˘ ˘*) I would never usually order "bean sprout ramen" but if it's from Ishida, I might choose it again in the future. It was delicious ♬ Thank you for the meal! (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡

It had been a while since I last had Asahikawa ramen. I couldn't visit when I lived there, so this was my first time. Maybe it was because of my health condition, but it tasted a bit lighter than I expected. I prefer miso ramen to be on the richer side. For those who like the old-school style, this place is good! Apparently there were reservations, because by the time I finished eating, a sudden influx of foreign tourists crowded the place, with some even standing. The staff seemed to be in a bit of a panic. It's definitely a popular spot!

It would be nice to combine two half ramen shops. The second stop is Ishida's half salt ramen. The exterior, transparent soup. It comes with bamboo shoots, green onions, chashu, and white sesame. It's simple but only costs 400 yen, so it's appreciated. The soup is a bit salty. The noodles are springy for Asahikawa standards. The taste is average, but it's nice to enjoy two different ramen in one go. Ramen Village is convenient for times like this.

I went to Ramen Village on 4/25 and visited a shop called "Ishida" where they were offering half-price on their featured menu item, the Petit Wantan Men (usually 1,000 yen, now 500 yen). They had both soy sauce and miso flavors available. My daughter and I tried the soy sauce Petit Wantan, while my wife had the miso version and my son had the children's salt ramen (400 yen). The soy sauce one was a disappointment, not to our liking. We should have just stuck with the regular Petit Wantan Men. The miso one that my wife had was better. The salt ramen that my son had was light and probably the best. There was also a Ramen Village shrine, so I took a picture. (Note: The reviewer gives all shops a perfect score, so the actual rating would be 3.3)

Delicious! Excellent customer service!! We visited with a 0 and 2-year-old and were treated very well, plus the ramen was very tasty. If you don't have a specific preference, this is a ramen shop that everyone says is delicious, with no disappointments!
