I ordered the same as when I went to King in the city center, with spiciness level 3 and small rice. I asked for more soup and fewer vegetables. I usually stick to chicken when it comes to soup curry, but this time I decided to try the lamb shabu-shabu curry. However, I couldn't resist adding a chicken leg topping. I ordered the Lamb Shabu-Shabu Curry (1,500 yen), spice level 9 super (100 yen), Chicken Leg (350 yen), and a Sapporo Classic beer (550 yen). The double soup with a rich Japanese dashi flavor paired perfectly with the lamb shabu-shabu and spices, making it incredibly delicious! When you think about it, lamb shabu-shabu is a classic for hot pot, so it definitely complements soup curry as well. The crispy and juicy chicken leg and the deep-fried Hokkaido vegetables were also delicious! The spice level 9 was just the right amount of delicious spiciness. The soup was the same delicious, creamy broth as the main shop, made with chicken bones, pork bones, bonito flakes, and dried sardines. The lamb curry had thinly sliced lamb meat, carrots, potatoes, and quail eggs as toppings. The spice level of 3 was just right for me, not too mild or too hot. It's a convenient option for those who find it difficult to visit the main shop in Sapporo. I look forward to trying something new next time.

This is the third "KING" store following the original store in Hiragishi and the Central store in Odori, which opened one month ago! Located near JR Sapporo Station, across from Yodobashi Camera (near the parking lot entrance), on the 1st floor of a building that used to be a secondhand PC store. There is also a franchise store in Hiroshima Prefecture. The interior is based on white and rosewood, creating a calm atmosphere. The background music is recent Western music. There are 3 staff in the hall and 2 in the kitchen. While observing the kitchen, a hall staff member came over and asked, "Can I help you?" (laughs) Well, it's a good attitude. The menu is also available in English, Chinese, and Korean for foreign tourists. This time, I ordered the "Lamb Shabu Curry" (1500 yen) with level 3 spiciness (hot) and regular rice (200g). I love the "Lamb Curry" from the main store! Although this is lamb shabu, so I don't think it's the same. The dish arrived about 15 minutes after the previous customers. The yellow "KING" soup is indeed mellow and rich, and delicious!!! However, compared to other stores, it seems to have less of a Japanese taste. Level 3 spiciness is slightly spicy for those who like medium spiciness, but it's pleasant. After eating, my mouth tingled. The lamb shabu is tender! The lamb flavor is working well. The vegetables, with sweet potatoes being sweet and the cabbage crunchy, are also good. And of course, there's a quail egg. The soup is generous compared to the rice, which is nice, but I would prefer 250g of rice. Overall, it was a satisfyingly delicious meal. Truly the quality of "KING"! It may not match the original "Lamb Curry" from the main store, but that's understandable (laughs). The prices may feel a bit high overall, but it's understandable in these times. Next time, I'll try the "Sukiyaki Curry".

I ordered the chicken with a spiciness level of 3 and a small portion of rice. It arrived in about 7 minutes, quite fast. I started with the soup, which had a smooth Japanese broth with spices. The chicken came off the bone easily and was flavorful. The rice was cooked perfectly, not too soft or too hard. The soup was mild, so I think it would taste even better with a bit more spiciness. The potatoes were soft and delicious. The small portion of rice was just enough. I appreciate that it was less crowded than the central store or the main store. I received a free topping ticket on my way out. If I come back next time, I would like to try a spicier level.

The rice is normally 200g with a maximum spiciness level of 5. The spiciness was the usual, but I felt it more than at the Central store.
