Deep in the mountains at Biei's Deep Mountain Pass, there is a barbecue terrace. You buy your ingredients at the counter and grill them at your table. The view in front of you is breathtaking. The pork belly is tender and locally sourced from Furano! The Genghis Khan lamb dish had a flavorful sauce. The assorted vegetable rice balls were soft and perfect for grilling. The kimchi sausage was firm, flavorful, and delicious!

On June 28, 2015, I went to Furano and Biei for a day trip. After seeing the lavender in Furano (although it wasn't fully bloomed), we headed towards Biei. On the way, we stopped at a place called Furanosawa Pass, where we enjoyed a trick art museum. Afterwards, we decided to have lunch here. We bought Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and bone-in sausages for around 500 to 600 yen each, and had a barbecue with my family. The taste was pretty good, and having a barbecue while enjoying the majestic view of Furanosawa Pass was amazing!
