I went through the curtain for lunch with my wife. My wife ordered the ladies' lunch, while I ordered the monthly lunch special from the flyer. The counter and raised seating area were full, so it took a bit of time for our food to arrive. The flyer was nicely put together, and the sushi was delicious. The meal was quite filling, which is great for businessmen. In addition, miso soup, salad, chawanmushi, dessert with warabi mochi, and coffee were included. All of this for 1500 yen is a good deal. Since it's a hotel, a service charge is added, but that's understandable.

I visited "Sushidokoro Kiyohira" located on the basement floor of ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Sapporo, at North 3 West 1, Chuo-ku, Sapporo in January 2019 for lunch. The lunch menu ranges from 1,500 yen to 3,500 yen. I had the "Ajisai" set for 3,500 yen (excluding tax and service charge). It included 10 pieces of recommended seasonal nigiri sushi and a toro taku roll. Additionally, it came with miso soup and salad. Since it was my day off, I started with a beer. The salad was served first. Although I was seated at the counter, the sushi was served on a long plate all at once. I enjoyed some sake (Kunimare Hokkai Koroshi) with the sushi. The freshness of the sushi ingredients was decent, and they tasted good, but nothing extraordinary. The chef didn't engage in much conversation, but the overall service in the hotel-like setting was pleasant, with private seating areas available for business lunches. Lastly, I had the miso soup, followed by dessert of ice cream and coffee. It was a satisfying meal.

When it comes to ANA Hotel, known for being a high-class hotel, their underground restaurant, which includes Japanese cuisine, is surprisingly affordable. For just 1850 yen (excluding tax), you can get a generous portion of sushi that could easily serve 1.5 people. The quality of the sushi is impressive, especially considering the price. The sushi is served on a large plate, accompanied by warm soba and miso soup. However, the only downside was that the warm soba was served first, and by the time I got to it, it had become lukewarm. It would have been perfect if the warm soba was served last. Overall, I hope they maintain the excellent hotel service and attention to detail, even in small things like the order of serving dishes.

I visited the restaurant around 7 pm on a weekday, with one person before me and a group of four after me. It seemed like there was a change in management since my last visit about 10 years ago. We started with a beer set for two, and then ordered more beer and sake. The sushi was decent, but not exceptional, and the rice was a bit too cold and lacked vinegar flavor. We were served two plates of 15 pieces each in about 15 minutes. We didn't have much time to relax and left after about an hour, but the chef was friendly and easy to talk to. If you're looking to enjoy sushi at the counter without spending too much, or if you want to have your first counter sushi experience, this place is recommended as it has a low threshold. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sapporo. I used to collect ANA mileage before, but it has expired and I have 0 miles now. I don't hold any other mileage either. I arrived a few minutes before the opening hours for revenge after the last time the restaurant was full. Despite being newly opened, the service was organized and efficient. The sushi was fresh and the rice was cool, but the sushi was consistent. The atmosphere was elegant and high-class, but I wished the food quality matched that level more. The price seemed reasonable based on the quality of the ingredients, but I would prefer a simple sushi-only lunch menu. The soba was average and lacked a hot temperature and texture. The side dish of kinpira gobou was flavorful but a bit too strong. I feel the soba and side dish were unnecessary after having sushi. The sushi list included tuna, salmon, scallop, squid, flounder, yellowtail, shrimp, and ikura. The tuna towards the end of the meal changed my impression of it. The red tuna had a firm texture and depth of flavor. The flounder and squid were fresh and easy to eat. The restaurant seemed to have a good turnover rate for fresh sushi. The tamago with rice was satisfying, and the colorful rolls were visually appealing. The set meal was filling, but I wished there was a sushi-only lunch option. Overall, I would not return for the lunch set I had. Rating: Taste 3.2, Service 3.3, Atmosphere 3.5, Value for money 3.3. Location: B1F, ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1 Kita 3 Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Next time, I hope they offer a sushi-only lunch menu.

It's been a while since I visited "Seihei". Sometimes I come here for lunch. I always order the "omakase nigiri" to eat. Today, I decided to try the chirashi. I ordered the cheapest one, which is 900 yen. Sorry, I just randomly ordered it while emailing, because it was cheap! When it arrived, I was surprised!! "Oh, it says it's a big portion right here! Haha," my subordinate laughed at me... (>_<) I'm already full just by looking at it, but let's give it a try! I'll use the lotus root to eat it. By the way, there was someone who used to say "Tamatebako~!" and it's exactly like that, bursting with the deliciousness of various seafood in my mouth (^-^) The chirashi is also quite good, except for the quantity... Next time, I think I'll go for the regular raw chirashi. Thank you for the meal (^o^)

Sometimes I feel like eating sushi until my stomach is full. When I go to a sushi restaurant at night, I end up drinking and snacking, drinking and snacking... and before I know it, I've barely eaten any sushi and I'm leaving the restaurant. During the day, even if I drink, I don't drink as much, so I can fully enjoy the sushi. Today, I'm at work so no alcohol (^-^) I occasionally eat this set, but it costs 1350 yen including tax! The toppings are common ones like tuna, squid, shrimp, etc., but they are freshly made by skilled sushi chefs! There's no way it wouldn't be delicious. Personally, I prefer miso soup over soba soup. Even though it's mini soba, I feel like I've eaten too much... (>_<) Either way, for this price and this performance, I am completely satisfied. Thank you for the meal (^o^)

I visited "Sushi Restaurant Seihei" for lunch after a long time. The restaurant information on the Sapporo ANA Hotel website had been reduced to just the name of the restaurant, so I had not visited in a while. However, when I checked the website recently, it had returned to its previous state, so I decided to visit. The restaurant is located on the basement floor of Sapporo ANA Hotel along the Sosei River in the JR Sapporo Station area in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. For detailed location information, please check on Tabelog. The lunchtime last order on weekdays is 2:00 PM, and I visited around 1:30 PM. The restaurant has counter seats in a raised area, and there were three customers before me with no customers behind me. I ordered the "Lunch Nigiri 1.5 servings" while my companion ordered the "Lunch Chirashi Bowl." I found out that the restaurant had recently returned to the internet and plans to focus on online presence. The veteran sushi chef preparing the sushi reminded me of the owner of a restaurant in Enzan, who had assisted with the opening of this restaurant. After a 17-minute wait, the sushi was served. The Lunch Nigiri 1.5 servings included: 1. Sea bream 2. Tuna (red meat) 3. Scallop 4. Salmon 5. Squid 6. Shrimp 7. Octopus (cooked) 8. Crab (snow) 9. Herring 10. Octopus (head) 11. Flying fish roe with enoki mushrooms 12. Salmon roe 13. Egg 14. Inari sushi Salad, seasonal noodles, and miso soup were also included in the set. The price was 1,890 yen. The Lunch Chirashi Bowl was a large bowl with plenty of rice and a variety of toppings, including sea bream, tuna, squid, flying fish roe, salmon, scallop, snow crab, minced meat, egg, and pickled ginger. It also included salad, seasonal noodles, and miso soup, priced at 1,260 yen. The portions were generous, and the restaurant had a casual, down-to-earth atmosphere despite being in a hotel. The prices were reasonable, and the staff mentioned plans to enhance their website by the end of the year, making it more user-friendly. I look forward to visiting again for lunch. Thank you for the delicious meal.

When it comes to Hokkaido, it's all about fish!! I visited the ANA Hotel B1 floor covered in snow. The place exuded cleanliness. The restaurant is called Oosuke, apparently named after King Salmon. We started with some sashimi, with shiny fresh herring and whitefish. The herring had a firm texture and rich flavor, while the whitefish was delicate and delicious. We paired the meal with Hokkai Onikoroshi sake, which was sweet and flavorful. The shirako (milt) from herring was creamy and delicious. The shishamo (smelt) was from Hokkaido and had a unique flavor. The kazunoko (herring roe) was plump and tasty. The shirako from whitefish was surprising and delicious. The scallops had a great texture and flavor, and the konbu (kelp) used in the ponzu sauce was homemade and added a rich umami flavor. The shirako from herring was rich and paired well with sake. The kai (shellfish) had a great texture and flavor, and the meal ended with ikura (salmon roe). Overall, it was a satisfying experience with delicious food that can only be enjoyed at this restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

My husband and I used the miles we saved up little by little to visit the "Sapporo Snow Festival" on a day trip. We took the morning flight from Haneda and arrived at Chitose Airport. By 9:30 in the morning, we were in front of the TV Tower at Odori Park. Before that, we took some photos in front of the Clock Tower as well (*´∀`*). After exploring the Snow Festival venue at Odori, we arrived at this restaurant where we had made a reservation for 12 o'clock. We thought it might be crowded during the festival, so we made a reservation, but it didn't seem necessary on a weekday. We were seated at the counter and ordered the lunch sushi set. In addition to the sushi, the set also included warm soba noodles and a salad. However, the salad was mainly finely chopped cabbage, lacking in luxury. Despite being a sushi restaurant in a hotel, it was disappointing. The soba noodles were not piping hot, and the taste was somewhat bland, disappointing to me. I thought I would order something a bit more luxurious, but the staff advised me to add what I wanted to this set. I followed their advice, but... The sushi rice was too firm for my liking, perhaps because I have only eaten cheap sushi before. The fish was fresh and generously sized, but each piece of sushi was small. I ordered one scallop and one medium fatty tuna, while my husband ordered medium fatty tuna and baby clam. The scallop had a sweet, melting flavor that spread in the mouth and was delicious. The medium fatty tuna lacked a bit of freshness in taste. We enjoyed it with hot sake, which went well with the sushi. Maybe because it was cold outside and our bodies were chilled, the warm sake warmed us up and was delicious (*´∀`*). The set was cheap and reasonable, but when we ordered alcohol, a side dish was included, and with additional items (price unclear), the price quickly increased. The people around us seemed to be enjoying a cheap lunch with their colleagues. The hotel's luxury seemed to be only in the price? That was the impression that remained with us.

<2012.2> After a long time, my husband and I visited this restaurant. We ordered the usual 30-piece course with toro, sea urchin, and botan shrimp. And... we decided to try the seasonal "Gokko soup". "Gokko" is the common name for the Hotei fish, a grotesque fish with a gelatinous and bumpy surface belonging to the Kasago family. The chef recommended it, and we couldn't say no. The soup was served hot with soy sauce base, daikon, green onions, and seaweed. I was hesitant at first, but it turned out to be quite tasty. The flesh was tender and full of collagen. The chef, originally from Hakodate, made a delicious Gokko soup that is only available in winter, so if you're interested, now is the time to try it. <2010.10> It was the night after passing my adult disease examination. After seeing the test results and feeling relieved, we decided to treat ourselves to sushi. We tried to visit the newly opened Sushi Zen on Odori Avenue, but it was fully booked. It had only been about 10 days since its opening, and it seemed like making a reservation was necessary. The atmosphere was different from the nostalgic 109 store. If you know the 109 store, it might be better to wait a bit before visiting the new place. We ended up at a sushi restaurant in the basement of the ANA Hotel. It was a well-run place, but not too crowded. We sat at the counter and ordered the "30-piece course with toro, sea urchin, and botan shrimp," our usual choice. It's a good deal at 30 pieces for 5145 yen. We each got 15 pieces at once, and it was a satisfying meal. The chef mentioned that he used new rice called Yumepirika for our sushi that day, blended with Nanatsuboshi. The rice had a unique slightly firm texture with stickiness and sweetness. The chef shared some sushi-making tips with us, and we learned a lot. We had a one-hour battle with my wife, who doesn't drink much, so the bill was surprisingly low. If you use a coupon from "Gurunavi," it's even more cost-effective. With the 30-piece course as a base, a few drinks and a couple of appetizers, you can expect to spend around 5000-6000 yen per person. Make sure to prepare a coupon before visiting.

On September 17, 2011 (Saturday), when staying in Sapporo for business, I decided to have dinner at a restaurant I stumbled upon at the ANA Hotel. I saw an advertisement for "Omakase 30 pieces for 4095 yen" and was intrigued, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was located on the basement floor of the ANA Hotel and had a casual and welcoming atmosphere. The chef was friendly and welcoming. My companion and I ordered the "Omakase 30 pieces", as well as hokki shell sashimi, shishamo sashimi, two glasses of draft beer, and one serving of sake, which came to a total of 10,510 yen including tax and service charge. The price was reasonable, and the quality of the fish was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Sushi restaurant Seihei is located in B1 of ANA Crowne Plaza Sapporo Hotel. I went to Seihei and ordered the Lunch Nigiri (1,260 yen). One thing to be cautious about is that the menu photos may not match the actual dish. The sushi contents are the same, but sometimes the side dishes like simmered dishes may be missing. Since it is located in ANA hotel, I expected the quality to be better. The food was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. They also offer a 30-piece set which is quite filling, like the recommended 30-piece set (with fatty tuna, sea urchin, and botan shrimp) for 5,145 yen. This set is good for sharing between two people. With a coupon, the restaurant can be considered somewhat cost-effective. Seihei Sushi Restaurant (Gurunavi) http://r.gnavi.co.jp/h061800/map1.htm
