Hey there! I'm Little Tooth, the dog who loves taking walks in the north. Today, I visited this place. According to Tabelog, they are closed on Wednesdays, but when I went on Tuesday, they were closed. Was it just a coincidence? I tried the chef's choice 4-course meal, and the pasta was the most delicious. The dishes included sea urchin and bell pepper soup, fish with zucchini, and scallop pasta. Thank you for the meal. Also, maybe because it was a weekday, I was able to secure a seat with no problem by making a same-day reservation.

I stopped by on a weekday at 7:00 PM, feeling like a casual visit. There were no other customers, so I was seated by the window with a 4-course chef's choice meal for 2900 yen. I asked for a glass of wine to go with it. The first dish was Udo and firefly squid with passion fruit sauce. The wine was Delvecchio and its acidity was quite nice. Next up was clam! I love clams so much, I want to go clam digging in Hamazaki. The wine paired with it was Chardonnay. The third dish was tripe in tomato sauce with focaccia, delicious. The wine was a red that was full-bodied but not too heavy, just as I requested. For the last dish, it was pasta with cheese, but I forgot the name. The course and three glasses of wine came to a total of 6000 yen including tax. Quite reasonable, don't you think?

Tonight, I went to the Italian restaurant sacae in Maruyama Park. I had met the husband and wife owners at a wine party last January, and decided to visit their restaurant. The chef, tall like a basketball player, and his petite wife run the restaurant efficiently. I ordered the chef's choice course (6 dishes for 5400 yen) along with a cheese platter. When asked if I preferred meat or fish for the course, I chose fish, and they mentioned having good ingredients for that. The dishes and drinks I enjoyed are listed below. The food was beautifully presented with a variety of seafood, vegetables, mushrooms, and intricate sauces. I regret not taking a photo of the butter-sautéed cod milt. The portion sizes were just right, and they expertly paired the meal with suitable wines. The couple's attentive listening and flexibility were impressive. I will definitely revisit sacae on my next business trip to Sapporo, along with Nino Kura! #sacae #Italian #MaruyamaPark

There was also an Italian a la carte in Maruyama, but I chose the 5400 yen course. Dessert and drinks are not included after the meal. As someone who is not a fan of sweets and enjoys drinking, I was very pleased. The cold soup of sea urchin and bell pepper was unique and interesting, with a refreshing bitterness from the bell pepper and a slight sweetness from the sea urchin. The bread had a nice herb flavor with a slight char. The combination of pistachio, ricotta cheese, and sea urchin was creative and worked well together. The abalone and wakame in oil and pepper was a surprising harmony of flavors. The sautéed kue had a crispy exterior and a flavorful sauce with a nice balance of spiciness. The sirloin beef with red wine and vegetable sauce was lean and tender. The fresh tomato pasta was light and flavorful. Despite the high-end ingredients, the portions were smaller than expected for the price, but the quality was top-notch. Additionally, we added the abalone risotto with liver sauce, which was delicious with a hint of Indian spices. The Italian bottled beer, Messina, and the glass of white and red wine were all light and enjoyable. Overall, the restaurant served sophisticated Italian cuisine that was satisfying yet not too heavy.

Located just a few minutes' walk from Maruyama Koen Station, this popular restaurant is easily recognizable by its blue door. The interior has a calm atmosphere, and the owner seems to have experience working at a famous restaurant in the past. They offer a course menu with 3 appetizers and pasta for around 2,900 yen, or a course with 4 appetizers, pasta, and a main dish for around 4,500 yen. A la carte options are also available, and the portion size can be adjusted according to the number of people dining. The sea bream and pasta were delicious. I would like to revisit to try the main meat dishes and other pasta options when I have the chance.

This fashionable and cute Italian restaurant looks like it came straight out of a picture book. The blue door and understated sign are lovely. It's quite rare to find a place open until 2 am around here. I had a dish of oyster and Shine Muscat grape salad, which was incredibly delicious. The white wine was rich and flavorful, and even my boyfriend, who tends to change his mind about what he wants to drink, ended up ordering the same one. To finish off the night, we had jalapeno pasta, which had just the right amount of refreshing spiciness and was really delicious. I definitely want to come back again!

Italian restaurant near Maruyama Park in Sapporo. Recommended by the sushi chef, we made a reservation and visited. A couple seemed to be in charge of the kitchen and the dining area. The food was served quite slowly, so we ordered in two rounds. Overall, I felt that they were skilled in using spices. It had a slightly ethnic touch rather than traditional Italian. Personally, I thought the Ghiera stew and duck breast were amazing! Many people who came later in the evening were enjoying a light meal and a drink at the counter, alone or in pairs. - Marinated Pacific saury with ginger, shallots, and lemon - Beetroot and red core radish with octopus head spice marinade - Ghiera stew - Roasted fat greenling - Spaghetti with jalapeño and herbs - Ring pasta with dried bonito and cabbage - Duck breast - Amaretto panna cotta - Sweet potato and chestnut soup with fig garnish

The atmosphere of "sacae" was strangely solemn, making it hard to enter at first. This day, we were a two-person team relying on others, and we entered impulsively. Upon opening the door, there were no other customers inside... The calm, dimly lit interior created a nice atmosphere. We were told to choose our preferred seat by a female staff member, so we sat at a four-person table. After pondering over the menu for a while, we decided to order. We had "Campari Soda @600", "Limoncello @700", and "Fresh Tomato Tagliolini @1,200" for pasta. We also ordered a soup (I forgot to note the details). The pasta with fresh tomato sauce was delicious, with just the right amount of acidity. I regret not remembering much about the soup, but I do remember that it was tasty. I would like to visit this restaurant again with a proper reservation, and perhaps try their course menu. Thank you for the meal.

4 dishes + 2 beers + 1 oolong tea + 2 desserts + 1 coffee = 11,000 yen ÷ 2 = 5,500 yen per person. The restaurant was comfortable, delicious, and had great value for money. It was a really lovely place.

It was the daily course menu. It was full of smoked salmon roe, tuna, and ark shell, all of which I love. The cooking was naturally excellent. The main dish was also impressive in terms of portion size. I was able to eat to my heart's content.

The atmosphere is good, but I have only tried two dishes so far, so I can't say much. For now, it's not bad. The cost performance is not the best, I think. I got off at Maruyama on my way back from work and stopped by alone.

The restaurant is located right near the subway station, but it's not easy to spot at first glance. Inside, it has a long and narrow layout with only 4-5 small tables. The space is not very large, so it feels a bit cramped. The menu consists of dishes that pair well with wine, so of course, we ordered wine. The service from the female staff was just right - not too close, not too distant. We ordered mainly meat dishes, which were decent portions and slightly on the rich side, but they paired well with red wine. It's a place you'd feel like dropping by spontaneously.
