On September 24th, we headed towards Chitose area. After eating ramen at Tsurukame, we went to this hot spring to relax and heal the fatigue from the camping the day before. The hot spring was relatively empty, and we were able to fully enjoy the mall-type hot spring with good water quality, taking our time to soak in it. The hot spring, sourced from 1800m underground, has a rich flow rate of 900 liters per minute. It is not a natural spring, but a low-alkaline, low-temperature hot spring with a total mineral content of about 5g per liter. Being alkaline, it is good for the skin and helps dissolve dead skin cells. Personally, I think it has the best smoothness and glossiness in Chitose.

I visited a hot spring in Nezukoshi, Chitose City in August 2022. The facility is new and clean. There are two baths, one at 43 degrees and the other at 41 degrees, but no outdoor bath. There are no provided shampoo or other amenities. The hot spring water is rich and very good. It wasn't too crowded, so I was able to relax. There is a women's changing room with a hairdryer available, but you cannot bring your own. Next to the hot spring facility, there is a direct sales store selling fresh produce. I bought some fresh edamame with stems, and they were delicious and freshly picked.

【Completely Smoke-Free】Known for its sign "Blessings from 1800m underground", this hot spring has been open to the general public for day trips since December 2017. Originally, only members of the Neshikoshi Geothermal Utilization Cooperative and paid users of the citizen farm were allowed to use the hot spring, which is a cooperative-style facility. The hot spring is located in the triangular area of the Chitose River and Shukubai River, on the Ogawa Farm with a sunflower maze (Route 337). To get there, follow the signal at the intersection of Ogawa Farm and proceed along the Ogawa Farm premises, turn right at the first staggered intersection towards Nagasuna, and go about 320m. Visit on August 17, 2022, at 1:30 pm. It should be my first visit, but I feel like I remember the parking lot and the vegetable sales corner. Maybe it was a dream (laughs). After a day trip bath, it's time to relax with a carbonated drink. There is no outdoor bath, only an indoor bath, so even a short time is fine. It's good to break a sweat. And the drink of choice was Kirin Mets Cola.

Chitose is a small hot spring in the Neshikoshi area. The facility has been used by members of the surrounding agricultural cooperatives and paying farm users for over 30 years, and it has been attracting attention from hot spring fans nationwide due to the quality of its spring water and its high threshold. In 2017, the facility was renovated and opened to the general public. The entrance fee is 440 yen. The facility is new and well-maintained, so it feels clean. There are large baths for 6-8 adults and small baths for 2-4 people, but no outdoor baths. There are 12 showers available. There are no amenities like shampoo provided. Free lockers are available in the changing room, and there is one hair dryer. The Moeru-type hot spring water is drawn from 1800m underground at a flow rate of 900 liters per minute. It is not a natural flow but a low-alkaline, low-saline, low-temperature hot spring with a total mineral content of about 5g/l. It is alkaline and good for the skin, helping to dissolve keratin. In my personal opinion, it may not be the strongest in terms of concentration, but it gives a glossy finish that is perhaps the best in Chitose. The large bath is around 41°C (the small bath is 43°C), relatively lukewarm, and with good ventilation, making it easy to soak for a long time. After bathing, cold mineral water tastes delicious.
