[Completely Smoke-Free] In March 1979, a yakiniku restaurant was opened in Higashi-ku, Sapporo, and now Liko Foods Co., Ltd., which operates yakiniku restaurants in Sapporo, Ebetsu City, and Chitose City, opened a new restaurant along Route 12 in Shiroishi-ku in November 2006. The restaurant, Yakiniku Tokuju, shares a loyalty card with Sumiyoshi Charcoal and Patisserie Fleur. The restaurant is located about 350m from the Tsukisamu River Bridge (Shimo-Fumi Bridge) along Route 12 in Shiroishi-ku, Sapporo, heading towards Atsubetsu. [Visit on April 7, 2022, 11:30 am] I revisited Yakiniku Tokuju in Shiroishi, which was my first time this year. It was lunchtime and the restaurant was quite crowded, with customers even waiting outside. I arrived before the opening time and managed to be the second in line. I ordered the usual satisfying Kalbi lunch with extra rice and additional items like beef heart and tripe. The beef heart was easy to eat without a strong smell, and the tripe, although I prefer it thicker, was still enjoyable. The rice was a bit undercooked that day, but with the extra portion, I was able to have more. Despite some ups and downs, I always enjoy having lunch at Tokuju. I have only been to the Shiroishi, Chitose, and Teine stores, so this year, I plan to explore more and indulge in delicious yakiniku lunches. Looking forward to trying different places like Hirao and Ebetsu!

We went to Tokujyu as a thank you to my family who accompanied me on a shopping trip to Sapporo. My wife was nervous about the impressive appearance of the restaurant, but she bravely ordered some delicious meat. The Negi Shio Tan, in particular, was thickly cut tongue wrapped in carefully prepared green onions, grilled to perfection. When you take a bite, the juices from the meat overflow and it tastes incredibly delicious.

On June 10, 2023, during a revisit on a holiday lunchtime, I felt like having yakiniku, so I visited Yakiniku Tokusu Shiroishi Store after a long time. I arrived just after the opening, so I was seated at a table right away without having to wait. I ordered the Mountain Kalbi Set and Half Pork Hormone Miso from the lunch menu. The Mountain Kalbi Set costs 1,485 yen and includes 80g of Japanese beef chuck flap, 60g of US beef chuck, and 60g of pork chuck. The Japanese beef chuck flap was delicious. The set comes with a total of 200g of three types of chuck, so it's quite satisfying. It's a good value set. The Half Pork Hormone Miso costs 396 yen and is a classic dish that I always order. It was delicious. This time, I was able to enjoy plenty of chuck. I really liked the Mountain Kalbi Set. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.

It's getting quite cold in the latter half of November 2022. Although it hasn't snowed yet, it's pretty chilly. Today, after about 3 months, I visited Yakiniku Tokusu Shiroishi store for lunch. There were about 10 groups of customers waiting in line inside the restaurant. After waiting for about 30 minutes, we were seated. From the lunch menu, I ordered the Yakiniku Set "Tok" and "Ju". I asked for a half portion of US Kalbi. The "Tok" set costs 1,980 yen and includes 50g of aged salted tongue, 60g of Wagyu kalbi, and 60g of sagari. The Wagyu kalbi is just delicious! The aged salted tongue is also tender and tasty. The sagari is equally delicious. Overall, this set impressed me with its deliciousness. The "Ju" set costs 1,760 yen and includes 40g of aged beef salted cheek meat, 50g of pork hormone (salted), 50g of Wagyu kalbi, and 50g of sagari. Again, the Wagyu kalbi stands out as the most delicious. The aged beef salted cheek meat has a good texture and is tasty. The half portion of US Kalbi for 451 yen is also delicious. Since I had the Wagyu kalbi this time, it's still the best choice. I once again realized the deliciousness of Wagyu kalbi. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you. I will visit again.

I went during Sunday lunch time, so it was bustling with many people. Each store has a different atmosphere! They have a great selection of sweets here too!!! (I should have gotten takeout!) I ordered the aged mixed beef tongue set!! It was incredibly delicious!!! I think I prefer the simple taste of the beef tongue over the marinated one! And I like the barbecue sauce that isn't too strong♬ The rice was a medium size and balanced well with the meat. It was just right at about 80% full! (I always overeat lol) I will definitely go back again! Of course, for the beef tongue!

There is no cafe nearby, so I took a break at a yakiniku restaurant. Even though they seem to focus on cafe operations, the cakes are surprisingly delicious. Unfortunately, the coffee is not great. There are no separate seats, so it smells like yakiniku. It's like being able to have good cake after yakiniku. It didn't work out as a cafe.

I revisited the yakiniku restaurant as I was craving for some good grilled meat. I went to Yakiniku Tokusu in Shiraishi and ordered the generous Kalbi set and pork hormone with miso sauce oolong tea, just like my last visit. The Kalbi was my favorite, with its great meat quality and delicious taste. The US Kalbi was also delicious with its flavorful fat. The pork hormone with miso sauce was satisfying as well. Overall, I was very pleased with the delicious meal. Thank you, I will definitely come back again.

On June 1, 2022, I was able to revisit Yakiniku Tokusu Shiroishi store after a long time. I enjoyed a lunch of yakiniku. From the lunch menu, I ordered the generous Kalbi set and Oolong tea. The generous Kalbi set costs 1,330 yen + tax, and the lunch drink Oolong tea costs 120 yen + tax. The contents of the generous Kalbi set include 80g each of US Kalbi, pork Kalbi, and Wagyu Kalbi. The US Kalbi is rich in fat and flavorful. It's delicious. The pork Kalbi has the umami of pork meat. It's also tasty. The Wagyu Kalbi has a moderate amount of fat, not too heavy, and you can taste the umami of Wagyu beef. It's also delicious. Being able to taste three types of Kalbi at once is great. Each type of Kalbi is undeniably delicious and the price is reasonable. Thank you for the meal. I will come back again.

On April 12, 2022, I visited the yakiniku restaurant Tokuju along the Line. I checked the menu and ordered the lunch set, as well as beef hump and other items. The skirt steak had no fat and was deliciously tender. I love the tripe, but the cuts are large and easy to eat. It had a crunchy texture with no fat and a good aftertaste. The beef hump had some fatty parts and a slightly unusual aftertaste. You can get rice refills here, so I ended up eating too much.

I realized that I hadn't had yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) in a while, so I visited Tokuju Shirakishi store. It was a weekday afternoon, but there were quite a few customers, and it was crowded. It had been a while since I had been to Tokuju, and I noticed that the lunch menu had changed slightly. I was quite hungry, so I ordered the "Mountain Kalbi Set" and, although I forgot to take a picture, I also ordered the half portion of cold noodles set. The meat arrived in about 10 minutes. The "Mountain" set had meat and vegetables alternately stacked to resemble a mountain. It was quite an interesting presentation. There were three types of meat, but the most delicious looking one was the Wagyu chuck flap. I grilled it just right and took a bite. Mmm, delicious! The rice kept disappearing quickly. I quickly grilled the US Kalbi and pork Kalbi as well. Mmm, delicious! The set with three types of meat weighing 200g was quite substantial. I ended up getting a rice refill halfway through. A few years ago, when I visited this Tokuju store, about 80% of the meat that came out was fatty, which made me very angry. However, this time, the balance between lean meat and fat was good, and it was very delicious. Considering the portion size and the set with half cold noodles for 1800 yen, it was quite cost-effective. Thank you for the delicious meat! Thank you for the meal!

I felt like having yakiniku for dinner, so I stopped by this restaurant near where I was. I don't really go to Tokusyu that often, maybe this is only my second time in my life. They have a wide variety of domestic beef menu items, and I liked that they offer different sauces like tare, aged salt, and tubo-zuke for just the sagari alone. I also ordered onions and was surprised when a whole onion arrived (lol). They are quite generous with the vegetables. Every time you order a meat dish, they always include a slice of onion and pumpkin. I thought it was nice that they separated the menu between US kalbi and Japanese kalbi, but I wish they had the same for other cuts as well. If you keep eating Japanese beef all the time, it can get a bit too fatty... The seating had a luxurious feel and was not cramped at all, allowing me to enjoy yakiniku leisurely. However, the noise from the neighboring table's loud clanging of dishes while cleaning up was annoying, so I mentioned it in the customer survey. They also have a Patisserie Fleur sweets showcase, and although I was tempted, I decided not to buy anything this time since I was already full from the yakiniku. I'll save it for next time...

I went there intending to drink non-alcoholic drinks because alcohol is prohibited in the recent self-restraint request, but it turns out that all non-alcoholic drinks are 100 yen. There is nothing particularly special here, but the basic meats are all delicious. The prices are a bit higher compared to other chain restaurants. I feel like the hormone is weak, but the taste is good. The cuts are small, so I wish they were a bit larger. The liver is thinly sliced, so I wish it were cut thicker for more satisfaction. It's nice that they offer half sizes for soup and rice dishes. Oh, and the desserts are abundant. It's impressive for a yakiniku restaurant to have such a variety of desserts. I haven't tried the desserts though. Oh! I forgot to take a picture!

This time, I visited a restaurant where you can eat two kinds of meat for under 1000 yen. The restaurant is located in Higashi-Ku, on Hon-dori 16-chome Kita along National Route 12. After parking in the back of the restaurant, we were seated at a table for four. I ordered the Stamina Set A, which allows you to eat two types of meat for under 1000 yen, with salt flavor. The rice is also all-you-can-eat, so I ordered a small portion. The meat came with two types of dipping sauce. I mixed a rich sauce with plenty of gochujang, kept the light sauce as is, and made a salt and pepper mixture. I also had a salad with a refreshing wasabi soy dressing. The meat was cooked in three batches, starting with sagari, which was tender and easy to eat with the rich sauce. Next, I had salted pork hormone with the light sauce and salt and pepper. In between bites, I had spicy Chinese cabbage kimchi and salad. I also drank some wakame soup to refresh my throat. Everything was decent and satisfactory. Next time, I might try the even cheaper Stamina Set B.

2021/02/14 revisited. Today is Sunday. I had a late lunch around 4:00 PM. I came back to Yakiniku Tokuju Shiroishi store as the lunch menu is available until 4:30 PM. I always appreciate their service. I ordered the Full Stomach Kalbi Set and Half Pork Hormone (non-spicy this time). ・Full Stomach Kalbi Set 970 yen + tax I have had this many times before, it's always delicious with its well-marbled meat. Affordable and tasty, the best. ・Half Pork Hormone 300 yen + tax This one is also consistently delicious. This time I got the regular miso flavor. It's good even without the spiciness. The taste remains the same no matter when you eat it. I keep coming back for the reasonable prices. I will continue to visit. Thank you for the meal. I will be back again.

2020/12/18 Revisited. I went back to Yakiniku Tokuju Shiraisi Store for lunch on a weekday. I was worried that there wouldn't be many customers due to the influence of the coronavirus, but surprisingly, there were quite a few customers. I ordered the Full Stomach Kalbi Set and the Aged Salted Beef Tongue Set with a side of Half Spicy Miso Hormone. The Full Stomach Kalbi Set costs 970 yen plus tax and has become one of my favorite dishes after ordering it a few times. It's delicious and affordable. I couldn't resist ordering an additional serving of meat for 870 yen. The Aged Salted Beef Tongue Set costs 1,250 yen plus tax and the beef tongue is tender and cut to the right thickness, making it tasty. I alternated between the kalbi and beef tongue. The Half Pork Hormone costs 300 yen plus tax and is also a favorite of mine. It's delicious. The meal was as tasty as always. But spending over 4,500 yen for lunch for two people, is it too much food? It was delicious. Thank you. I will come back again.

Actually, this is my second time visiting this restaurant. The prices are reasonable, but I think it's quite good overall because you can get rice refills and side dishes and soup are included. So, around 12:40, my family of 5 arrived at the restaurant. We were seated in about 10 minutes. We ordered two Full Stomach Kalbi Sets, a Wagyu Seared Kalbi Set with extra meat, and two Tokusen Sets. The "extra meat" option for the Wagyu Set was not listed on the online menu, but it was on the menu at the restaurant. Hmm, everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

2020/10/10 Revisited. I visited Yakiniku Tokuju Shiraisi store for a holiday lunch. It was crowded even though I went right after they opened. It's understandable why it's a popular spot. Since I was dining alone, I decided to enjoy the Kalbi, so I ordered the Full Kalbi Set. The set includes a whopping 200g of US Kalbi. It was really flavorful and you could really taste the grilled meat. It was delicious. I also added a Half Pork Hormone in Spicy Miso flavor for an extra kick. It went really well with the rice. As always, the food was delicious. I'll definitely come back again.

Today, I revisited Tokusuke Shiraishi store with my wife for a lunch date, using my compensatory day off from working on a holiday. We ordered the Stamina A Set and the Wagyu Grilled Kalbi and Stone Bibimbap Set from the lunch menu. - Stamina A Set 900 yen + tax: This set includes Sagari (beef skirt) and pork hormone. The Sagari was reliably delicious. I chose miso for the hormone, which was also very tasty. - Wagyu Grilled Kalbi and Stone Bibimbap Set 1200 yen + tax: This set includes Wagyu grilled Kalbi and stone bibimbap. The thinly sliced Wagyu Kalbi required careful cooking to avoid burning, but it was delicious. The stone bibimbap had a nice crispy texture and was surprisingly tasty. - Additional items: Miso Hormone Half 300 yen + tax, US Kalbi Half 350 yen + tax. The hormone was the same as the one in the Stamina Set, so I will skip that. The US Kalbi had a good amount of fat and was as delicious as always. Tokusuke never fails to deliver consistent deliciousness. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without any worries. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the meal.

National Route 12, from Shiroishi to Otani direction. The parking lot is spacious and the restaurant is also large. On a Thursday at 11:40 am, the parking lot was quite crowded. There are non-smoking seats and a raised seating area in the back. I ordered the Full Stomach Kalbi Set with extra rice. You can choose from small, medium, large, and extra-large portions for both the meat and rice. The portions are quite generous, and I really felt full. By the time we left, there was a line forming, so it's definitely a popular restaurant.

It's been a while since I visited the restaurant with the delicious meat dishes. Without hesitation, I ordered the Kalbi BBQ set meal. Since it was past 3pm, the restaurant was almost empty and I could enjoy my meal quietly. The meat was as tasty as always, and the set meal, which included rice, soup, and namul, was priced at around 970 yen, which is quite reasonable. Eating BBQ during the daytime made me feel happy. I went to a yakiniku restaurant near my commuting destination. I thought I could go there anytime after being transferred in April, but another transfer order has been issued. This means I won't be able to have lunch at this yakiniku restaurant anymore... I finally went to have the yakiniku lunch I had been wanting. The restaurant manages the individual pieces of meat well. I ordered the Genghis Khan set for 880 yen (tax included) which includes 120g of raw meat, egg soup, salad, and rice with free refills. I ordered the extra-large rice. Although the 120g of lamb meat is a bit small, it tastes delicious when mixed with the sauce and gochujang on the rice. The rice was extra-large, but it was within a reasonable portion size, so I had to get a refill. The rice refill is a medium portion (which seems to be the size of a normal portion). Alright, I'm full now. I wanted to add a drink and relax a bit, but I have to go back for some personal matters in the afternoon. I wish I had managed to make time during my lunch break to come here earlier. Even though it was just a yakiniku lunch, it was delicious, so I'm really disappointed. I want to come back again.
