I had some errands in Chitose early in the morning. After finishing up, I got hungry and decided to stop by the food court at AEON. I chose Mister Donut based on my mood that day! I had the "Hot Savory Pie (BBQ Frankfurter)" (242 yen) and the "Morning Drink A Set" (204 yen) with Mister Donut iced coffee. The coffee had a nice balance of bitterness and acidity, making it very delicious and easy to drink. The frankfurter was crispy and juicy, and the pie had a buttery and crispy texture, which was very tasty! My companion had the "Moist Muffin Butter Flavor" (242 yen) and the "Morning Drink A Set" (204 yen) with Mister Donut iced coffee. The muffin was moist and delicious. I chose iced coffee on a hot day, but if you prefer hot coffee, you can have unlimited refills, making it a very good deal. I will definitely visit another branch again! Before I revisit in June 2023, I mentioned in a previous review that donuts are one of my favorite foods, but I try to avoid them because I don't want to gain more weight (laughs). However, I still crave them occasionally. My favorite type of donut is the "Old Fashioned Donut," particularly the simple plain type. For those who do not dislike sweet things, they may have tried it at least once. True to its name, the Old Fashioned Donut is reminiscent of an old-style donut. It belongs to the category of cookie donuts or cake donuts, where baking powder is used for leavening the dough. On the other hand, donuts made using yeast for fermentation are known as yeast donuts or bread donuts. While there are Old Fashioned Donuts coated with chocolate or sugar, I personally prefer the plain type as mentioned earlier. When it comes to donuts, they are already sweet, so they go well with beverages like black coffee. However, I believe that milk is the best match for the Old Fashioned Donut. This time, after finishing a night shift, I stopped by Mister Donut for breakfast. One Old Fashioned Donut is 293 calories, and when paired with hot milk, it totals over 400 calories, making it quite a formidable opponent. If eaten as a meal replacement, it's manageable, but if consumed as a snack, it could lead to trouble (laughs).

I wandered around the store and ended up being drawn in because I hadn't been there in a while. I have visited for takeout before, but I was craving coffee and decided to enjoy it inside the shop. I visited Mister Donut on the first floor of Aeon Chitose in July 2022. I ordered a Mister Donut iced coffee and a shrimp gratin pie. It took less than 5 minutes to be served. The shrimp gratin pie was served warm. The pie crust was not crispy, a bit too rich, and the dough was crumbly, making it difficult to eat. There was no shrimp flavor. The iced coffee was light and easy to drink.

Today's weather was strange, with a mix of sunshine and snowstorms. I finished work a bit early, so I decided to take a break at Mister Donut. I used a donut redemption coupon from a lucky bag and got a refillable hot cafe au lait. I really love the chewy texture of their donuts, especially the Pon De Ring.

I went to Aeon Chitose store to buy winter shoes for men, sports shoes for children, and Lego blocks as a slightly late Christmas present during the New Year's sale. I also bought a lucky bag for 3000 yen, which included a card that could buy 30 donuts worth 160 yen each, as well as a calendar. My family was very excited about the lucky bag. We used the card to have our first meal of the year at the store, ordering chocolate chip and sugar syrup donuts. They were all delicious as expected, and the children looked very happy. The prices are for eating in. The former is a donut not listed on the official website, and the latter is one of the donuts for Mister Donut Halloween 2021. Regarding the Angel this time, I have tried all the non-seasonal donuts, but I didn't know there was a hidden menu if there was a donut I hadn't tried. I found Shimajiro at Mister Donut. It brings back childhood memories of the kids' challenge. I bought it for the kids. I had an apple pie and an iced cafe latte at the food court. It seems like this is how Mister Donut's drinks are for takeout. It was delicious! (*^。^*)

During the New Year's trip to Sapporo, I stopped by the Aeon Chitose store on the way back. One of the tenants there is Mister Donut. Every year during New Year's, Mister Donut offers special lucky bags with a good deal, where you can purchase donuts that exceed the purchase amount, along with limited edition goods. Despite the pandemic, the staff at the shop were cheerful and provided polite service. The taste was as delicious as always, and it might be a nice change when you start getting tired of New Year's dishes.

In August 2020, I was on night duty and stopped by the cash corner at AEON Chitose store to do some accounting. As I was walking, contemplating whether to eat udon at Marugame or not since McDonald's didn't have a breakfast menu, I suddenly noticed Mister Donut. I became curious about their COVID-19 measures as bakeries have been packaging all items for splash prevention. I wondered how Mister Donut, with its self-service style, was handling this. While the self-service style remains the same, they added vinyl sheets to the tongs and trays area to prevent direct contact with droplets, as well as covering the donut display shelves. Although there may be some doubts about the effectiveness of these measures, I felt that if customers follow proper etiquette, it would still be somewhat effective. As for the donuts I tried this time, I got the "Pon de Strawberry," "Strawberry Ring," "Strawberry Custard French," and "Strawberry Churro." These are variations of their classic products like "Pon de Ring," "Honey Dip," "French Cruller," and "Honey Churro," but with a strawberry chocolate twist. Normally, I would try different items for variety and to make them look good for food review photos, but this time I decided to go with an "all strawberry" theme. Among these, the "Strawberry Churro" was not listed on the official website or past product lists, so its origin remains a mystery. It's probably just a regular churro with strawberry chocolate on top, possibly a store-specific original creation. Regardless, all the donuts tasted good, as expected, but as a middle-aged man concerned about my waistline, these high-calorie treats are a forbidden fruit for me.

I came here after seeing on Twitter that they collaborated with Pierre Hermé, and they even have Ispahan! As expected, there was a huge line, and a lot of people were definitely buying the Pierre Hermé collaboration donuts. Some people were even buying multiple of each flavor. The Ispahan donut has an amazing scent! It was my first time experiencing a donut with such a fragrant aroma. I couldn't taste the lychee, but the rose flavor was distinct. The raspberry's acidity added a nice touch. The Satine Fashion donut with cheese cream, orange, and passion fruit jam didn't have much acidity. The Chloe donut had a rich chocolate flavor! And the strong acidity from the raspberry was prominent! My favorite was definitely the Ispahan donut! They also had three different Pokemon collaboration tapioca drinks, which my friend tried. Today I took a break at Mister Donut. I had an apple pie and a sweet potato donut. The sweet potato flavor was strong and it felt heavy, so it was not that great. Maybe I should have chosen the chocolate glazed one. The free refill for café au lait was nice though.

In the past, my favorite Mister Donut shake has made a comeback! I love the Choco Fudge flavor, it's the number one shake in the shake world!!! Everyone should definitely try it!!! It's really delicious!!!

I bought a lucky bag for ¥2200 and a Pikachu donut. They look so sweet! It was crowded because of the New Year, but I waited in line to buy them. The donut was simple yet delicious! My daughter was so happy with the Pikachu donut.
