First visit. I wanted to go to a famous sukiyaki restaurant nearby, but the private rooms were all full and I couldn't get in. Maybe you need a reservation? But then I found this place. The Tabelog rating is 3.18, but it looks delicious. When I entered, the friendly master and his wife welcomed me. I sat at the counter. I ordered Genghis Khan lamb meat for 880 yen and a draft beer for 550 yen. The person next to me was about to order bean sprouts, but the master said that cabbage and onions come with it. It arrived. First, the vegetables. When they brought out the meat, they spread the fat on the Genghis Khan pot, placed the meat on top of the mountain, and surrounded it with vegetables. I remember eating this long ago when I was in elementary school, but it was frozen mutton back then, and I haven't eaten it since because it had a unique smell. I heard that the recent Genghis Khan is made with fresh lamb meat and doesn't have that smell, so I decided to try it. I carefully spread the fat with tongs. The meat sizzled on the mountain, and since it's said to be good even when rare, I didn't overcook it, just dipped it in the sauce and took a bite. Wow, this is delicious! When the vegetables were also cooked, I alternated dipping them in the sauce. It goes well with beer. It's amazing! It's like a new kind of barbecue. I wonder what makes it so cost-effective. I thought about ordering more meat, but I enjoyed the vegetables and balanced it with beer, finishing it off. It was delicious. Before I knew it, the customers who came later were being turned away because they were fully booked. Two groups were turned away. I want to come back again. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. This deserves a high rating. Thank you for the meal.

When I stayed in Hakodate for about a week, I had a feeling when passing by the restaurant during the day, so I decided to have dinner there. It's not too far from the nearest tram stop, so the access is not bad. I made a reservation for the day and visited, and although there were no empty tables, it's safer to check beforehand. The inside of the restaurant feels clean compared to the outside atmosphere. The 4 kinds of assorted dishes seem quite cost-effective compared to other menu items, so it's good to start with that and add your preferences. Even with a small group, you can eat a variety of dishes at a reasonable price, which is nice. The quality, including the raw lamb, exceeds expectations for the price.

On this day, I visited the restaurant with two friends around 6:30 pm, and it was full when we entered! It's a super popular place. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I was already excited even before ordering. My friends ordered for me since it was my first visit. I usually like frozen meat, but the restaurant recommended fresh lamb, so we ordered both. The sauce had a rich aroma and layers of deep flavor, it was incredibly delicious! The meat was very fresh and vibrant, and the fresh lamb was tender and had a sweet taste. We also tried Ainu leeks, which were also delicious! We had the best Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) ever!

I found a delicious Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) place. Started with a Sapporo beer and a platter of four types of lamb - raw lamb, lamb chops, steak, and round lamb meat. The lamb meat was thick but surprisingly tender and delicious! The sauce was also amazing! I added raw lamb and lamb tataki. All the meat was delicious! I definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I go to Hakodate.

I ordered a platter of four different lamb dishes and they were all delicious!! The lamb steak and lamb chops allowed me to enjoy the true flavor of the meat! The raw lamb and marinated lamb, when cooked with vegetables and soaked up the meat juices, were incredibly tasty and fantastic! The staff were also very friendly. I recommend making a reservation before going. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I enjoyed authentic Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) at a small local restaurant in Hokkaido with about 20 seats. The dish was well-loved by the locals and had a refreshing flavor without the typical strong smell of lamb. It was easy to eat and didn't leave a heavy feeling in the stomach, making it seem like it would go well with alcohol, although I don't drink.

This is a review of a restaurant in Hakodate. It is located between the Ekimae and Honcho areas. I wanted to eat Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and was looking for a small restaurant. Since it is a small restaurant, I made a reservation in advance before visiting. The restaurant is quite small with 4 counter seats, a table for 4 behind the counter, and private seating in the back. When seated, they served a complimentary vegetable dish. I ordered a draft beer and the Genghis Khan 4-meat platter. The platter included round lamb, fresh lamb, steak, and lamb chops for 1600 yen. The steak and lamb chops were seasoned with herbs beforehand. The round lamb cooks quickly as it is thin, while the other meats are thick and take longer to cook. I added extra vegetables halfway through, getting a half portion as I was dining alone. I also ordered the "imperfect" lamb chops for 860 yen, which were only imperfect in appearance but tasted great. I enjoyed the lamb chops and steak the most. With 2 beers and a glass of red shochu, the total cost was just under 5000 yen. There was a foreign couple sitting next to me, and we had a pleasant conversation with the staff. The Genghis Khan was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. Since it is a small place, making a reservation in advance is a must.

Hakodate seemed to have few delicious Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) restaurants, but this place was a great choice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and calming. The meat and vegetables were delicious and fresh. Although there was sauce for dipping, eating the lamb with salt brings out its sweet flavor. I think reservations are necessary, but I highly recommend this place.

I visited a restaurant in Hakodate at night. The fresh Genghis Khan was not smelly at all, and it was reasonably priced. The grilled vegetables, beard, and beans were carefully prepared, and even the bean sprouts showed the owner's dedication and meticulousness. It's a great restaurant where you can sense the owner's passion.

The lamb dish for 680 yen is super delicious! There are two counter seats, one table for four people, and one tatami room.

I had delicious Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) cooked on a shichirin grill. The raw lamb was tasty, and it paired perfectly with wine. Next time, I want to try the steak.
