He always recommends this to first-time people, he said. It's beautiful! Sweet but delicious. It's like snow fairies descending from the sky and dancing in the glass. Fluffy. The red cherry and mint leaf as accents are cute. Mr. Morita, who works here, seems to be an amazing person with various awards. I don't know much about cocktails because I don't usually drink them, but it was really good. The corn soup served as an appetizer was also delicious. Even though I was full, I couldn't resist. My husband, who came to Tokyo after graduating from high school, doesn't have information on where to drink in Asahikawa. I'll have to brag about it next time.

However, I had not yet visited this bar, which has been consistently ranked almost 2nd in the Asahikawa overall rankings. It often ranks in the "Tabelog TOP 1000" as well. In fact, I was brought here over 10 years ago, but I hardly remember anything from that visit. On a weekday night, after having a few drinks at a bar, around 7:30 pm, still early evening, I decided to visit. I went down the stairs to the basement of the building. It was early, so there were no other customers yet. I had heard that the master had spent a long time in a hotel bar before. The atmosphere is quiet, but the service is polite, and the bar has an authentic feel. It was a bit tense, but not unpleasant. When I mentioned that I wanted a cocktail, the master said, "If you tell me your preferences, I will make it for you." I don't have much knowledge about bars, but I thought I could at least say my preferred type of alcohol. However, the menu (cocktail prices are not listed, only whiskey prices) featured cocktails that had won or participated in competitions. So, I decided to choose from those. "I'll have the Magee, please." "Certainly." The Magee was a tequila-based cocktail, with a beautiful color from the blue curaçao. It was a strong drink, but very well-balanced and easy to drink. The charm (¥1,000 excluding tax) was a cold corn soup on a fluffy bread, which was delicious and elegant, a perfect accompaniment to the cocktail. For the second drink, I chose the Pirikamenoko, a cocktail with a traditional Asahikawa name. It was based on Japanese sake, with a wonderful aroma and taste. It included Sakura liqueur, giving it a Japanese touch. The bill for two cocktails and the charge was ¥3,300. Considering the atmosphere, it was a fair price. The master was quiet, and I was a bit nervous at first, but his precise and polite greetings like "Certainly," "Thank you," and "You're welcome" were not something you hear often around me. After paying the bill, he saw me off all the way outside. It's a bar with a formal and traditional atmosphere that I would like to visit occasionally!

I visited this bar during my trip to Hokkaido! It is located in a large mixed-use building underground, and the interior is very beautiful and authentic. I ordered the original cocktails, "Snow Makeup" and "Blue Pond". The Snow Makeup had pink liquor with powdered sugar around the glass, which was incredibly beautiful and cute! The taste was not too sweet and very delicious. And the Blue Pond cocktail was amazing! It had a beautiful blue color like the famous Blue Pond in Asahikawa, with a refreshing grapefruit texture that was not too sweet. The master, though initially quiet, was friendly and recommended some sightseeing spots. The prices were reasonable, and I'm glad I went there. I will definitely visit again when I go to Hokkaido!

I visited Bar Moolight, a place I had been eyeing for a while. This shop has won numerous awards at cocktail competitions, and the cocktails have very stylish and appealing names that are sure to be popular with women. The menu comes with photos of the cocktails, which adds to the excitement even before ordering. I tried a cocktail called "Dream of the Stars," and with each sip, it felt like a starry sky was spreading in my mouth. The cocktails here are unique and charming, so I definitely want to come back again. Thank you for the meal!

●October 31, 2020 (Saturday)● Since I had come all the way to Asahikawa, I decided to check out this bar that was featured in a tourist magazine. Located in an old-fashioned building with a heavy door in the basement, I mustered up the courage to open it. Inside, the place was clean and elegant, with a long counter stretching to the back, giving off a luxurious vibe. The master was very well-groomed and provided excellent service, making me feel a bit intimidated. I ordered an original cocktail from the menu, which was refreshing and easy to drink. The corn soup served as a complimentary service paired well with the cocktail and warmed my heart. The taste was great, but just experiencing the atmosphere alone made visiting this bar worthwhile. I left after enjoying a genuine bar experience in Asahikawa. I believe there was a cover charge of 1000 yen. Since I only had one drink and bars are not well-lit, I decided not to give a numerical rating.

I will be visiting the famous restaurant "Sushi Minato" in Asahikawa for the fifth time. The temperature here is quite different from Sapporo. This is a longstanding bar in Asahikawa. It is located in a suspicious underground area with a heavy door visible. It does not have a glamorous image, but rather a mysterious one, just like moonlight. A middle-aged gentleman with a straight posture greets you. He is not very friendly, but the dignified atmosphere is not unpleasant. Since I had plenty of sake at Minato, I am using this place for dessert. I ordered the original cocktails "Sanders Snow" and "Yuki-Gesho". They may not feel luxurious, but they are very calming.

Sapporo's bustling district. Found an authentic bar here. The charm is the corn soup. It was delicious, but didn't quite go well with the alcohol. First drink. Consulted and left it to the bartender. Ordered a Boston Cooler. Second drink. Ordered a cocktail with Drambuie as a short. Ardbeg 10, Drambuie, lemon. Shaken well in a shaker. This is good. The bartender is a quiet person. There are a few award-winning recipes displayed in the middle of the counter. Not bad, but a bit off with the alcohol exchange with other customers. With malt, you know... Also, I'm not a fan of having those kinds of things displayed on the counter. Personally. But it's not a bad place, it's a good place. I thought I would like to visit again to have another cocktail.

When thinking of gourmet in Asahikawa, it's always about Asahikawa Ramen. However, the famous ramen shops all seem to close early. So, to digest the stomach filled up during the second party, a stylish bar seems like a good choice. Stepping through the heavy door, it's a great bar. The elderly master is always polite. I ordered a Tequila-based cocktail, which had a tropical flavor without being too sweet or sour. The service charge was around ¥1000, and we also got complimentary corn soup and mixed nuts. For the second drink, I had a Lagavulin 16-year-old whiskey for ¥1100. It was a bit hard to drink due to the regular ice shape, but it was a tasty whiskey. Overall, we had two drinks each for ¥7900, and it was a pleasant place to enjoy getting a little tipsy until the last send-off.

The original short cocktails at Snow Dancer Bulls Rhapsody Kentucky Farm Piccadilly Park Hoshino Yume are interesting.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. The atmosphere is great, and despite the current situation, it was temporarily full to the point of being very popular. The master is elegant and has a sense of refinement, but also exudes friendliness, a true gentleman. The drink menu is extensive, and they can make what you desire. The drinks were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and you could enjoy them slowly without getting too drunk. Overall, the drinks were fantastic in taste and appearance, and the service was top-notch. I had a great time.
