I had breakfast during my stay. It was a seafood bowl with hittsumabushi. It had scallops, white fish, salmon, salmon roe, and salmon flakes, with condiments and broth. Since it was the New Year, we also had ozoni (mochi soup). Some points that caught my attention were: the broth in the ozoni was too salty, the broth in the hittsumabushi was lukewarm, and there were few condiments. The fish was okay, but the salmon was a bit overwhelming and felt cheap. For drinks, there was orange juice, milk, apple juice, black tea, corn tea, green tea (tea bags), and self-serve coffee. There were some basic toppings like Hershey's chocolate sauce and honey, which made me wonder if they were meant to be added to milk. It seemed like it was geared towards inbound guests. I think they could have added yogurt as well. Despite my criticisms of the breakfast, the hotel staff, especially the front desk staff, provided excellent hospitality that exceeded the price range. They were very attentive and even carried our luggage to the room, going above and beyond what I expected for this price range. It made for a very pleasant stay.

During my mountain climbing trip to Mount Yotei, I stayed at a hotel where I enjoyed a main dish of grilled Niseko pork, along with other delicious dishes made from local ingredients. The staff were friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying the meal.
