Always fully booked popular restaurant. Managed to make a reservation and visited with a customer. Started with ordering the Special Negi-Tan. We also ordered other dishes as we pleased. The Negi-Tan is not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious! It's so good that I could eat it as sashimi. The Sagari and Harami were also juicy and had excellent meat quality! I would love to visit again if I can make a reservation on a business trip day...

When I happened to pass by the restaurant around 7 p.m. on a weekday, a customer was just leaving and I decided to try my luck by asking if there were any available seats. Luckily, there was an open table. The place was filled with thick smoke, creating an atmosphere that made me certain the food would be delicious. Whether it was the negi-tan shio, loin, Harami, or mino, all the meats were tender and tasty. The only downside was that they were out of liver.

Visited in July 2023. Currently rated 3.67. 133 reviews. After having a drink at the beer garden in Odori Park, we moved to Tanukikoji Market because Kirin was crowded. We ordered Negi Shio Tan (beef tongue with green onion), Gyuu Rosu (beef loin), and Kalbi. The tongue had a large amount of finely chopped green onions mixed with sesame oil, making it delicious even when eaten with rice. However, to be honest, the meat quality was tough and seemed like average meat for the price. Perhaps since it's a hormone shop, hormones are their specialty, but we are not big fans of hormones. Just a heads up.

Susukino, Tanukikoji area. A restaurant popular among Yakiniku enthusiasts. Open from 5pm to 11pm. Closed on Sundays. I have been a regular customer since they were located across the street. They used to have lunch specials, and my favorite was the Mixed Hormone set for 1000 yen. I also loved ordering the Negi Shio Tan during lunchtime. I have visited in the evenings as well. The interior has a retro atmosphere, with aprons available on the tables and hot towels provided - overall, a good restaurant. Highly recommended dishes include the Premium Negi Shio Tan, followed by Maruchou and Mino. I also enjoyed the Highball (480 yen) and the beer. The Premium Negi Shio Tan is a must-try, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a crispy bite. The Negi is not too spicy and has a nice texture, with a well-balanced seasoning of sesame oil. One of the best beef tongues I've ever had, with a generous portion. The gas grill cooks the Negi Shio Tan perfectly. The Mixed Hormone (1100 yen) was a combination of beef small intestines, pork harami, and beef diaphragm. While I was hoping for less fat, it was still delicious seasoned with salt and pepper. Overall, not everything on the menu is outstanding, like the Kimchi which was disappointing, but the Kakuteki was delicious. It has been a few years since I last dined here, but it was still enjoyable. Thank you for the meal!

On a Saturday night, around 7:30 PM, I met up with a friend for a walk-in reservation at a popular restaurant. The place looked full from the outside, but luckily we were able to get in after a short wait. We tried the special Negi Shio Tan for 2,100 yen (pictured is a serving for two) and it was delicious, although a bit pricey. The rice was also cooked perfectly. We had a good time eating and drinking, but the bill came out to be 18,000 yen for the two of us. It was definitely tasty, but quite expensive!

I went to the restaurant early to make a reservation and finally got to eat the premium negi shio tan that I couldn't eat last time! It was delicious, and I also compared it with the regular negi shio tan. While I was eating, the phone kept ringing for reservations or inquiries, and they had to turn away walk-in customers because the seats were fully booked with reservations, so it seems to be a popular place. I recommend making a reservation before going. I want to catch someone who loves tan and go together next time.

I visited Hokkaido on a trip. Many tourists probably go for Genghis Khan, but I'm not a big fan. So, I opted for regular yakiniku instead. However, the yakiniku here exceeded the usual deliciousness and was very satisfying. The special negi-shio tan was amazing - perfectly grilled on one side, wrapped in green onions, and then eaten with a satisfying crunch. The beer went down smoothly! The senmai wasn't thinly sliced - is this a Hokkaido style? I was impressed with each bite. Every shop in Tanuki Koji Market is top-notch. I must come back again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The very fresh meats that remind me of the yakiniku I had in Kitami. The specialty of the restaurant, the premium negitan shio?? will have to wait until next time. However, even without that, the regular negitan shio is delicious enough. I thoroughly enjoyed the yakiniku that exceeded my expectations.

I want to eat yakiniku. I usually go to my regular place, but this time I decided to try this place I've been curious about. It's one of the few places I haven't been to yet in Tanukikoji Market. It's already lively with several groups at 6:30 pm. I ordered a draft beer first. I ordered: Negi Shio Tan, Sagari, Sanchu, Kimchi. The Negi Shio Tan looks great. I couldn't order the top quality one for 3,200 yen, but I wonder if the 1,100 yen difference makes a big impact. Well, this one tastes really good! I also added Maruchou, Chadolbagi, Senmai, Harami. This place doesn't have any raw dishes, maybe for risk management? Surprisingly, the staff and customers here are quite young. In terms of taste and menu quality, I think I prefer my usual place.

Today's dinner was at Hormone Yakiniku Kimuchi. It's a weekday, but my daughter is staying overnight for training. This is a rare opportunity a few times a year! So, my wife, second son, and I visited this restaurant that my daughter doesn't like. We arrived a little before our 6:00 PM reservation. There were 4 groups of 15 people already there and 3 groups of 8 people after us. The restaurant is smoky, so we hung our outerwear outside. It seemed like only male staff were working. Our order for today was: - Special Negi Salt Tongue x2 - Negi Salt Tongue - Sagari - Beef Harami - Maruchou - Mino - Rib Roast - Nakao Karubi - Several beers and makgeolli The special Negi salt tongue was the best, while the Mino and makgeolli were just average. The sauces varied depending on the meat cut, showing attention to detail. The fresh and chewy Mino was delicious, but the special Negi salt tongue was still the best! We enjoyed our meal. Thank you, we will come back again!

Arrived at the restaurant on Saturday at 9:00 PM. The atmosphere was calm after the banquet. The Tan and rice were already sold out. In the narrow alley of Tanukikoji Market in Sapporo, there are many famous restaurants crowded together. It's tough to get in without a reservation on weekends. Well, it's best to try them all. Ordered from the menu posted on the wall. Since it's a yakiniku restaurant, the prices are high. The specialty, premium negi shio tan, was already sold out. I am once again amazed by everyone's high antenna for delicious food. Being alone, I ordered something light and reasonable. Sapporo Black Draft Beer 550 yen, Grilled Vegetables 880 yen, Kalbi 900 yen, Chijimi 850 yen. Oh, I'm enjoying solo yakiniku ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ Beer tastes even better ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ Kalbi is delicious ☺️☺️☺️☺️ The total bill was 3,180 yen. I am very satisfied ✨✨✨ Thank you for the meal. It was incredibly delicious ❤️❤️

A yakiniku restaurant located in the Tanukikoji Market in Odori, Sapporo. Despite its seemingly casual appearance with coats hanging outside the entrance, it is actually a great yakiniku restaurant. My friend made a reservation for us, so we were able to easily enter even during the busy 7:00 pm Golden Time. The restaurant was fully packed at first, but there were some empty seats later on, so it might be easier to get in if you go later. This place offers delicious meat at a good cost performance, regardless of whether it's lean meat or offal. The alcohol is also reasonably priced. Every type of meat is not only delicious but also comes in generous portions. The side menu also offers many attractive dishes that were all delicious. Here are my favorite menu items: [Negi Shio Tan - 2,100 yen] Tan (tongue) topped with green onions. It's amazing when grilled on one side and there's plenty of it, so you'll definitely be satisfied. There's also an Upper Tan for 3,200 yen. [Gyuu Harami - 1,650 yen] Thickly cut and large pieces of Harami (skirt steak) with a delicious sauce and a satisfying chew. [Mino - 880 yen] Thickly cut Mino (tripe) with a unique crunchy texture that is quite enjoyable. Even though we ate quite a lot, it was just a little over 6,000 yen per person. Cheap, delicious, amazing... Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back.

Actually, I went there with the purpose of trying their special Negi Shio Tan (beef tongue with green onion and salt), but even though it was a weekday, it was fully booked! I underestimated it, I'm sorry. I was able to get a seat an hour later and ordered, but they were already out of what I wanted, which was disappointing. Next time, I'll make a reservation before going. However, everything I ate was delicious, and I was surprised by how good the special dipping sauces for each type of meat were. I particularly liked the Kobukuro and Yama Wasabi menu items.

Avocado Kimchi, Beef Tripe, Premium Salted Tongue, Special Mixed Hormone. Avocado Kimchi. It's like avocado mixed with kimchi sauce. Goes well with beer. It's great that they offer a nutritious food like avocado. Premium Salted Tongue. A thick slice of tongue buried under a large amount of chopped green onions. There are two ways to eat it. One is to grill one side with the green onions on top and eat it. The other is to set aside the green onions, grill both sides of the tongue, then put the green onions back on top before eating. The latter is recommended. The green onions are too much, making it difficult to eat the former way. Beef Tripe. It's hard to tell if it's cooked properly. It seems like it's meant to be eaten raw. Special Mixed Hormone. With the special mix, you get six types of hormone instead of three. Enjoy various textures like chewy, bouncy, and crunchy.

Sapporo Travel Gourmet: This yakiniku restaurant is located in Tanuki Koji in Susukino. The location may be a bit hard to find at first. We used this restaurant for our last dinner of the trip. They don't have set courses, just a la carte menu. - Negi Shio Tan (¥2100) and Special (¥3200) are recommended by some reviews, but ordering the special with plenty of green onions and sesame oil seems a bit much. The regular Negi Shio Tan was delicious enough. I tried both single-side and double-side grilling, and personally recommend the double-side grilling. The signature menu was really tasty. - Nakaochi Kalbi (¥1100) was cut into cubes. It was quite large, so I enjoyed it rare, medium, and well-done. My favorite grilling level was medium rare (lol). The staff seemed busy, so I didn't ask, but they probably use brand beef. They use a gas roaster, so I grilled it quickly over high heat, but because there is no duct on the table, if it's full, the next table may get a bit smoky.

Sapporo Gourmet Top Grade Negi Shio Tan for 3,200 yen. You can't see it because of all the green onions, but underneath is a bed of incredibly delicious tongue. I personally like to lightly grill it on one side with the green onions still on top and enjoy it half-cooked. It's a bit pricey, but the taste is outstanding. Reservations are a must!

No need for words!! Without hesitation, order the "Special Top Onion Salt Tongue (¥3200)". The price has doubled in almost 20 years due to the times, but the unwavering deliciousness remains ☆ The taste of the now-gone famous restaurant Shitei in Higashi-ku, Sapporo is reproduced here. No, it may even be better... I deeply think so. Thick tongue grilled with carefully selected white sesame oil & salt blend and topped with plenty of onions. Of course, don't forget to squeeze plenty of lemon. "Oh, please give me a refill, two servings of Special Top Onion Salt Tongue~. And also, some beer~" There is no trace of "Nataro" on this expanded floor. It's still bustling. It's delicious after all. Thank you for the meal.

A popular restaurant that you can't enter without a reservation. The recommended dish is definitely the top-quality negi-shio tan (green onion salted beef tongue). The specialty negi gyutan (green onion beef tongue) is as delicious as it looks! The kimchi, which is also in the restaurant's name, is authentic and as good as the side dishes at a yakiniku chain. I like it. The kuppas were a bit salty. The tail meat was delicious. The side dishes other than kimchi are not very impressive. Overall, I like this restaurant as a yakiniku place.
