2021/10/24 Revisit "116th in 2021" A series of visits to famous restaurants in Sapporo to commemorate being able to go to Sapporo normally! Today, I chose this place. This restaurant that my wife also loves, I wonder if it's crowded today as well!? Tora [6th visit] Today, I arrived right at lunchtime, so I was a little worried about the crowds. As expected, the first parking lot was full, so I parked at the second parking lot and walked. I joined the line as the third person waiting outside. It shouldn't take too long. After about 15 minutes, we were waiting inside the restaurant, and then we were seated after about 10 minutes. Now, my favorite Tora soy sauce... Huh!? When I came last time, the Tora soy sauce label was extremely small, but now it has completely disappeared!! Unbelievable, so I asked the staff, and indeed it seems that Tora soy sauce has disappeared. At this point, I was completely knocked out, but my wife was looking forward to it, and since we came all the way here, we couldn't leave without eating. I decided to go with "Tora Soba," which seemed close to Tora soy sauce. Large serving. I don't remember what my wife ordered, was it Kohaku? I'm in too much shock... As usual, the time from ordering to serving was quick. Tora Soba should use the thinnest noodles on the Tora menu. The noodles are quite thin but firm because they are quite high in water content. The soup is delicious and the noodles are delicious. But... I liked the simple yet punchy feeling of Tora soy sauce. This Tora Soba seems to have a somewhat Chinese soba-like element, and it feels like it's trying too hard to be different. My wife was eating happily, but she was reserved in her enjoyment while looking at my disappointment. I'm sorry. Oh... my favorite ramen has disappeared again. Honestly, other ramen is delicious too. But, with this, I lose the energy to revisit. It's very disappointing that another anticipated restaurant has disappeared. I don't think I will come alone anymore. I will come if my wife requests it... Thank you very much. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant around 1 pm on Saturday, and there were 3 people waiting outside. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I got a seat and ordered the spicy miso ramen. It had shrimp oil in it, which gave it a unique flavor that took some getting used to as I was expecting a regular miso ramen. As I continued eating, I got accustomed to the strong shrimp flavor and ended up enjoying the rich taste overall. It was delicious!

I had tried a few times before but the parking lot was full or it was a regular holiday, so this was my first visit. As I was passing by, a car was just leaving the parking lot, so I parked and entered the shop. The restaurant was quite crowded as expected for a popular place. I hadn't decided what to order yet, so I ordered the "Shijimi Ebi Tonkotsu Shoyu" that appeared first on the menu. After a few minutes, the dish arrived. When I took off my mask, I could smell the shrimp. The soup had a distinct shijimi flavor. The noodles were the type I like from Sagamiya. Since it was a soy sauce tonkotsu ramen, it had a unique soy sauce flavor that I really enjoyed. It might be a taste that some people love or hate, but I personally loved it. I'm curious about trying other flavors next time. If the parking lot is empty, I'll definitely come back. Thank you for the meal!

A friend highly recommended this restaurant. I tried to come during the afternoon before but there was a huge line so I had to give up. This time, I visited at night. I barely managed to find a parking spot just in time before they filled up. The second parking lot seemed quite far, so I wanted to avoid it if possible. The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious. I sat at the counter and was overwhelmed by the extensive menu. It was my first time visiting, and although my favorite miso flavor didn't seem to be highly recommended, I played it safe and ordered the most recommended dish - shrimp and clam pork bone soy sauce ramen with green onions and seasoned egg topping for 1300 yen. It was a bit pricey! The ramen was served quickly, in less than 5 minutes even though it was crowded. The first sip of the soup was delicious! It was a flavor I hadn't really tasted before. However, my friend's salt ramen was even more shockingly delicious. As I continued eating, I got used to the taste and the excitement didn't last until the end. Also, the cost performance of the toppings was not great. I hope to visit again when it's not too crowded and I can avoid waiting in line.

My son, wife, and I visited the restaurant while on our way back to Shizuoka. We arrived around 8 pm and were able to enter without waiting in line. We ordered the Ebi Shijimi Shoyu, Tora Soba, and Tora-Ou. The Ebi Shijimi had a great shrimp flavor. The Tora Soba had a simple and light soy sauce taste that everyone enjoyed. The Tora-Ou had a spicy kick to it, which some may find addictive. The picture is of the Tora-Ou. Everything was delicious.

On Saturday, at my wife's request, we went to Tora-san. I thought it would be crowded, but luckily there was parking available. We ordered the rich bonito ramen in large size to share with our child. Everything we ate was delicious at Tora-san. The chewy noodles and crunchy onions in the rich seafood-flavored soup were a perfect match. Thank you for the meal!

I usually prefer miso ramen, but this time I tried the salt-based "Kohaku" ramen. My companion chose the "Shrimp and Clam Soy Sauce" ramen. The Kohaku ramen had a lot of shaved powder-like substance around the edges, which enhanced the seafood broth flavor. It was creamy and not too light, which I liked. And the Shrimp and Clam Soy Sauce ramen was also delicious. The noodles were straight and different from the salt-based ramen. The aroma of shrimp was amazing! It spread in my mouth instantly. I've had shrimp ramen before, but this was the first time I felt the shrimp flavor so strongly. It was so tasty and easy to slurp up. While the Kohaku ramen was good, I personally preferred this one! They also recommended the "Shrimp and Clam Pork Bone Soy Sauce" ramen, so I will try that next time. Definitely coming back for more!

This is probably the first time I've ordered for myself. I got the spicy miso in large size. On a hot day like this, the spiciness is great, and the fact that the restaurant is air-conditioned is a bonus. The shrimp flavor was stronger than I expected, with a slight spiciness that spreads in your mouth after the first bite. The chewy noodles were also delicious. I finished every last drop. Thank you for the meal!

Visit on July 11, 2023! Shrimp and clam pork bone soy sauce ramen for 900 yen with a small rice for 100 yen. It's been about 5 and a half years since my last visit. There was a bit of a line during lunchtime, showing that it is still a popular spot. The soup had a rich pork bone flavor with a hint of seafood. The noodles were medium thickness with a nice chew to them, cooked slightly firm which I liked. The oiliness around the lips was a bit bothersome, but easily balanced out with the rice. I definitely plan on coming back here more often.

Shijimi (clam) and shrimp pork bone soy sauce ramen (900 yen). It was a late Saturday afternoon and the parking lot was full, so I had to park in the second parking lot. The neighboring ramen shop's parking space was tempting me, but I resisted and found a spot in the second parking lot. The restaurant was just a 2-minute walk away. As I took the first bite of the ramen, I couldn't help but exclaim in surprise. It was overwhelmingly flavorful with the taste of shijimi, shrimp, and rich pork bone broth. The soup was thick and creamy, making me wonder if the lighter shijimi soy sauce ramen would bring out the shijimi flavor even more. The broth was well-emulsified, and the thin yellow curly noodles scooped up the soup perfectly. The raw onions provided a refreshing contrast, and before I knew it, I had finished the entire bowl of soup. I was offered some green tea, but declined. I'll definitely be back to try the lighter shijimi soy sauce ramen next time, or maybe the amber or spicy miso ramen. Perhaps they'll introduce a lighter salt-based ramen in the future. It was a great meal.

It's been a while since I last visited. I heard that the shrimp and clam soy sauce ramen is delicious... I usually go for the shark ramen, but today I tried the shrimp one... and it was indeed delicious. The noodles can be a matter of personal preference, but I love the ramen here. In addition to ramen, I also ordered the wasabi rice. The combination of noodles and broth is amazing. I also recommend the chashu rice. It's seared, so it has a hint of charcoal aroma. 😊❤️

I have rated ramen, soba, and udon with a maximum score of 4 points. Therefore, I will be gradually revising past reviews as well. This is my 9th visit in my quest to try all the ramen, and my 10th visit overall. I have 3 more varieties to try, including the "Little Devil Soy Sauce 900 Spicy Miso" which has a color that looks similar to spicy miso. It's interesting because spicy soy sauce ramen is not common, usually it's clear broth. It tastes good, but I wouldn't choose it when I'm in the mood for soy sauce ramen. If I had to choose between this and spicy miso, I wouldn't be able to decide. Maybe when I'm in the mood for spicy tsukemen would be the closest. I actually thought it would be interesting to try a spicy version of the shrimp and clam soy sauce ramen. Adding an Asian twist could be interesting, but they probably won't do that. I think it would be fun to see them differentiate themselves like that. <Soy Sauce Flavor> - Rich Shachihoko: 3.7 - Shrimp and Clam Soy Sauce: 3.6 - Shrimp and Clam Tonkotsu Soy Sauce: 3.7 - Little Devil Soy Sauce: 3.7 <Salt Flavor> - White Tiger: 3.9 - Red Tiger: 3.8 - Tiger King: 3.7 <Miso Flavor> - Miso: 3.7 - Spicy Miso: 3.8

Ordered Ebi Shijimi Shoyu ramen with extra menma and negi as miso topping. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is pleasant, with young staff providing consistent and polite service. The ramen arrived fairly quickly after ordering. The soup has a strong shrimp aroma, not typical of soy sauce ramen, as it is a rich tonkotsu shiro (pork bone white) broth that goes well with the curly noodles. The negi and menma toppings were a good choice, adding a crunchy texture to the dish. However, the extra 200 yen for the negi topping may be a bit expensive. Personally, I prefer black soy sauce based ramen, so this wasn't exactly to my taste, but it was still a delicious bowl of ramen. I actually preferred my companion's miso ramen. I wonder how their shio (salt) ramen tastes like! Thank you for the meal!

Ramen Kohaku / Kohaku Creamy Tonkotsu Rich White Broth Seafood for 900 yen, only raised by 20 yen ❤️ A perfect way to end Golden Week ❤️ No wait, seated at 11:30 on Sunday ❤️ It's been a while since I visited Kohaku ❤️ The owner is really cool ❤️ And the ramen is incredibly delicious ❤️ The chashu is also super tasty ❤️ I want to add extra toppings like chashu, but Kohaku doesn't allow toppings... Currently, even seasoned eggs are not allowed as toppings... From other tables in the restaurant, you can hear a resounding "NO!"... Basically, "NO!" echoes until everyone agrees, NO to extra chashu, NO to changing the noodles, NO to condiments other than what's on the table... Even at a table with elementary school kids, there's still a NO? "YES ❤️❤️❤️" when asked for the receipt ❤️ Thank you ❤️ By the time I left, there was a line outside ❤️ It's a very popular restaurant ❤️ The food was incredibly delicious ❤️ Thank you for the meal ❤️

I felt like having ramen for lunch, so I decided to visit this place for the first time. It's usually crowded, but luckily I was able to find parking and was seated right away with just a short wait. The atmosphere in the restaurant conveyed a love for music. When I looked at the menu, I saw they had spicy ramen options, including a spicy soy sauce ramen that caught my eye. I usually go for spicy miso, but this time I tried the spicy soy sauce ramen for 900 yen. Unfortunately, they were out of seasoned eggs, which was a bit disappointing for me as I love them. I ended up adding extra green onions for 200 yen. It seemed a bit pricey for green onions, but considering the quality of the ramen itself for 900 yen, I felt satisfied with the overall experience. It was very delicious, thank you for the meal!

I've been rejected about 5 times before, but I finally visited today right when the store opened. I read that no matter what you eat, there are no misses, so I have high expectations. For now, I tried the basic soy sauce ramen. The rich seafood broth goes well with the white soup, and the noodles are medium-thin and twisted, which I like. My partner had the spicy version of the salt ramen. I took a bite and thought it was good too! Even though all the flavors are based on white soup, they match perfectly. I want to revisit and try all the menu items. Both were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Spicy Miso: 900
A thick and mellow miso with a hint of spiciness that doesn't overpower the base flavor. I prefer it over regular miso because it has a nice kick to it. While I'm often tempted to order the Spicy Miso, it rarely surpasses the regular miso. The healthy tea served is quite refreshing.

The Shrimp and Clam Soy Sauce bottle was sold out, but it's not because of my review, haha. When I visited a week before posting this, there were plenty available. I bought one even though the price had increased. My wife really likes it, and so do I.

Topped with green onions and menma. When you sip the soup, suddenly shrimp and clams come in. Rich and delicious. It's more like a shrimp and clam flavor than soy sauce. The medium-thick curly noodles go well with the soup. Delicious! Topping with green onions was the right choice. The soup is rich but mellow enough to finish it all. There are various types here, so I would like to visit again.

"Toraou (Tiger King) - 950 yen. Charred Chaashu Rice - 400 yen. Despite it being my first visit, I was drawn to the collaboration with Soup Curry King and ordered the Toraou. The rich and creamy pork bone soup with a hint of curry spices was delicious! There are still many other menu items like Shrimp Clam Pork Bone Soy Sauce and Salt that I'm curious about. The owner with a pompadour hairstyle looks cool!"

I tried to visit in February but ended up going to a different restaurant, so I came back for a second try on this day. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:00, and there were already three groups of people waiting in line. It's definitely a popular place. When the opening time arrived, the owner, who looked just like a rocker, put up the curtain. Inside the restaurant, there were many posters of Ken Yamamura from the band Ken Band, and it seems like he has visited the shop as well. There were plenty of staff members working efficiently, so the ramen was served very quickly. Personally, I'm not a big fan of tonkotsu broth because it upsets my stomach, but I do enjoy the flavor... This place offers a seafood-based tonkotsu broth, and it lived up to my expectations. It was very delicious. The soup stayed hot, and the noodles were steaming hot, making me think "it's good even in winter." I would like to visit again.

I visited the restaurant at 6:00 PM on Saturday and there were already about 10 people waiting in line. I brought my 0-year-old daughter and was relieved to see that there were both sunken kotatsu-style seating and baby chairs available. There was also a kids' ramen called "Wachibi Tiger" which I would like to try with my whole family in the future. I was intrigued by the menu item "Changing the Concept of Salt" and ordered the Shiratora ramen. The creamy and mellow white soup was delicious and really changed my perception of salt. I look forward to trying the soy sauce flavor next time.
