The restaurant "O-niku no Tsubo" offers high-quality meats such as Obira Wagyu and Ybei Wagyu, just like the nearby Enzan Shun. They have a wide variety of bento boxes available for purchase, with the Black Wagyu Kalbi Bento being a rare find. While the bento boxes and meat products are not cheap, they are of good quality. In terms of convenience, cost-effectiveness, and overall satisfaction, "O-niku no Tsubo" stands out as the preferred choice. The bento boxes I tried, including the 100% Wagyu Hamburg Bento and the Yakiniku Bento, were delicious with rich flavors and textures. The only downside was the slightly limp broccoli and the meat mixture in some of the dishes. Overall, I look forward to visiting again for the quality of meat and rice dishes.

I was watching the rain. With each rainfall, the season gets colder. I was on standby for an important project since early morning, observing the deepening of autumn through my eyes, ears, and other senses. About two years ago in October 2121, not only did I go on a food tour, but I also found myself buying more food... It truly is the season for a hearty appetite. Sometimes I stop by a meat specialty store. The Beef Cutlet Bowl is a favorite of mine. The beef cutlet is tender and when you chew, you can taste the deliciousness of the meat. The rice is consistently delicious and enhances the flavor of the beef cutlet. The sauce and cheese play supporting roles, adding to the deliciousness, but the vegetable element is minimal, with just a leafy vegetable and a tomato used in the sauce. A little extra vegetables would improve the nutritional balance. Welcome. ---------- May 2021 ----------Located in the foothills of Nishi28 Miyanomori, there is a bus stop that gives off the vibe of having a meat shop in an unexpected place. There is no parking fee, so everyone can park with confidence. They offer Matsuzaka, Maesawa, Suffolk, and other name brand meats that don't seem to fit this area. If it were located on the back approach road, you would understand, but who would buy from there...? "Pork loin" for 231 yen per gram... that's quite expensive. An elderly lady passing by only bought vegetables from the front of the store. Reiko-san. Inside, there are processed meats and meat chunks with a variety of options. If they also had a super high-end yakiniku restaurant in the back, it would be great. When asked if you want a paid bag or not, they just hand it to you as it is. They should at least put it in a kitchen bag, it's free. Even at the supermarket, they put it in for you if you buy raw meat. They don't seem to think about offering that level of service. That's where the store's quality dropped. Both items have a deadline of 5/8. "Sagari" is the edge of the meat. Even with that quality, it's 158 yen per gram, which is quite expensive. They should lower the price more, at least to 98 yen. The spicy miso sauce is just spicy without any umami taste. The "assortment" includes Wagyu kalbi (with a lot of marbling, and for some reason, there is also rib meat), Sagari (especially), American lamb shoulder loin (a stable Australian option), and a lot of meat edges. The packed items seem to have a questionable expiration date. Basically, it feels like they gathered the leftover pieces. Instead of offering meats from all over Japan, it would be more appreciated if they focused on local meats. Meats from outside the region can be enjoyed locally, and if you go to a meat shop in Yamabana, you can buy them for 3/4 of the price. Is this a meat shop that is not very friendly to the local community? They can sell face-to-face, so the freshness is good.

This is a local restaurant. They also offer bento boxes here. I visited this place specifically for the bento boxes. They have a showcase with various cuts of meat. It seems a bit high-level for me to handle, so I opted for the bento box. I had the roast beef bento box, and I got the large size. The portion of rice was a bit small, but the meat was delicious. Although their main focus is on selling meat, they clearly know their meat well because the bento box was also tasty. I enjoyed it! Thank you for the meal.

The butcher shop had a long line, so it's better to reserve your bento in advance. It was November 29th, a special day for good meat. This review dates back to about three years ago, when I used to shop regularly at this store. This time, I bought the Japanese beef brisket sukiyaki set and the Japanese beef roast steak bento. The brisket had a rich umami flavor that lingered on the tongue, but it was a bit tough to chew. The roast beef in the bento was well-marbled and delicious, making you want to keep eating more. The rice complemented the meal well with its color and taste. The store is located at 2-2 Nishi 28-chome, Kita 5-jo, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.

Sometimes, I receive limited quantity information via LINE, and this time I was aiming for the meat-filled croquettes from the butcher, but they were sold out _(┐「ε:)_ The information that comes through LINE is truly limited in quantity, so it seems to run out quickly. This time, I bought some plain wieners from Balnaba Ham that are particular about being salt-free. Also, some beef ham yukke. No one in my family eats yukke, so I can have it all to myself. When eaten with egg yolk on top, the yukke becomes creamy and delicious. The salt-free wieners have a crispy skin and a subtle umami flavor from the pork. They are made without colorants, preservatives, or antioxidants commonly used in sausages, which gives a sense of safety and peace of mind. Therefore, I often enjoy salt-free processed meats as snacks during weekend home drinking. I wanted to eat delicious meat, so I went to Nikuno Tsubo. They serve tender ginger pork cooked at a low temperature. The homemade ginger sauce has a perfect balance of spiciness and sweetness. The meat is marinated in the sauce, not just cooked with it. It was delicious! I visited on a weekday evening and the restaurant was busy with customers coming in one after another. I enjoyed my meal. Thank you.

We sold fresh meat, processed meat, bento boxes, and side dishes. This is Seiniku Koubou Niku no Tsubo. I received some meat as a gift by adding them as a LINE friend, but the offer of Kutsuboshima Barley Pork cut-offs in Yoichi Town is a good deal! The modern and stylish interior of the shop was crowded. Since it seemed like it would take a while to get a bento box, it might be better to order by phone. I bought some cut-offs of Hokkaido's Yuki no Hime beef, which I found out online is a brand of beef used in seared meat sushi at Burusuta. It looked delicious, and with just a sprinkle of salt, the tenderness and sweetness of the meat gradually unfolded, with a rich flavor that increased as I chewed. The Vice Burusto collagen-infused unsalted white sausages were delicious. The unsalted pickled Vienna sausages, without any artificial coloring, were soft and tasty, releasing a juicy umami flavor when boiled. They seemed perfect for beer, but were also a great match for wine and highballs. Kutsuboshima Farm's Kutsuboshima Barley Pork cut-offs were pork with no unpleasant taste, and the sweetness of the fat was noticeable, showing the deliciousness of the meat. It was a satisfying pork without any strange pork flavors. Despite the crowdedness and some operational issues, the cool staff efficiently handled their tasks. The shop, with its face-to-face sales style, felt approachable. I plan to try the drink service corner when it's not busy. I will definitely visit this shop occasionally to buy meat in the future.

Weekend stroll series. I noticed that the former Hotto Motto location had been vacant for a while, but yesterday a stylish butcher shop opened there. I was happy because there was no butcher shop around Nishi 28th Street. I pass by it every day, so I was curious since the construction started, and I went there right away. It was the second day of opening in the afternoon, and the store was crowded with customers. I guess the neighbors were also curious like me. I was planning to go camping during the long weekend, so I decided to get some meat. I also ordered a roast steak bento with gravy sauce. I wonder if the meat changes daily? The menu says "Obira or Biei Wagyu," but today it was Obira Wagyu. I also bought some freshly ground Menchi Katsu from Tsubo because it looked delicious, and I ended up buying too much (laughs). It was perfect for my solo dinner tonight. While waiting, I drank the self-service coffee and looked around the store. The shop specializes in Hokkaido beef, including beef, pork, and chicken, and they also had processed products from Tonden Farm in the freezer. I thought the meat would be expensive, but it was reasonably priced and fair. I registered on LINE, and as a commemoration of the opening, I received a free cut of Kitajima Barley Pork. Now, the bento I ordered for takeout is ready, so I'll take it home. The roast steak bento was thickly sliced, perfectly cooked, and the meat was moist and tender. The acidity of the sauce paired well with it. The Menchi Katsu was made of 100% Wagyu beef, with a coarse grind and a rich flavor. It's affordable, and I'll definitely come back for more. It could be a good addition to dinner after work (just saying from a housewife's perspective, haha). It seems handy when you want to eat good meat. Next time, I'll try buying meat for curry or ginger pork. Thank you for the meal!

I used it at night. It's convenient because it's open 24 hours. This time, I purchased pork salt hormone and spicy miso hormone in addition to the photos. They were vacuum-packed and frozen, but they were very tender and delicious! Next time, I want to go during the day and buy non-frozen meat.

Located just off the subway at 28-chome in April 2022, this butcher shop offers high-quality products at affordable prices, similar to a department store. I stumbled upon it while lost and decided to check it out. Due to current restrictions, I couldn't buy raw meat, but I opted for a freshly fried menchi-katsu. The waiting time was about 10 minutes, but it was worth it as it was piping hot and delicious. I couldn't eat it right away, so I had to settle for just taking a photo. The mixed menchi-katsu cost 250 yen, made from a perfect blend of Hokkaido Wagyu beef and Hokkaido brand pork, without any unnecessary fillers. The meat was of high quality, and the salt seasoning enhanced its sweetness. Thank you for the meal!

"I purchased a hamburger from the 'Meat's Treasure' vending machine (*^^*) You can purchase it 24 hours a day, but if you go too late, it may be sold out…(´・ω・`) It comes out in a vacuum pack and frozen from the vending machine☆ I thawed it slightly before cooking…(* ̄∇ ̄)ノ♪ When grilling, more fat came out than I expected…!! So, I used kitchen paper to absorb the excess fat halfway through(^o^;) It gets a nice brown color when grilled( ^∀^)♪ The taste is bold and you can enjoy it even without sauce(*^^*) It goes well with rice…(lol)(〃艸〃) However, it may be a bit salty for small children…('ε'*) I think the saltiness may be too strong for stewed hamburgers as well… It is a blend of beef and pork, but it tastes like a high-quality hamburger with a higher proportion of beef☆ I enjoyed it very much(ノ´∀`*)♪"

Two years ago during New Year's, I posted a review of the osechi and sushi I received from a rotating sushi restaurant in Nemuro that my son's wife's father runs. I received comments from two nitpick reviewers saying, "Son's wife's father? You must be an idiot!" and felt embarrassed (~_~;). This year, things are a bit different. I am the father-in-law of my son's wife. But who is the mother-in-law of my son? (*゚▽゚)ノ I want to go with the flow in the coming year, just like always (*゚▽゚*)。ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ★Meat Treats: Is this the sirloin among the meats my son brought home?ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕThanks for the feast.

I went to buy BBQ meat. The usual Takahashi butcher shop was closed, so I found a stylish and elegant shop in the Miyanomori/Kitaenzyama area. The meat was neatly arranged and I had a hard time choosing, but I decided on some beef as well. - Lamb shoulder roast: It was easy to eat with a mild lamb flavor. - Beef tongue slices: Pretty standard, with a tender texture. - Seseri (chicken neck): Also standard, I wished it had a bit more of the chewy texture that Seseri is known for. - Spicy miso hormone: It was frozen but juicy with a strong flavor. My husband really liked it, but I found it a bit too fatty. - Kalbi (short rib): The most delicious. Tender and not fatty, just the way I like it. - Salted sushi: I bought it on impulse, but it was a bit too tightly packed. It was just okay. Overall, it was a bit pricey, but I might buy Kalbi and hormone meat again. I would like to try other types of meat next time. Thanks for the meal!

I love the yakiniku at this place, it's delicious. By signing up for LINE, you receive flyers and special offers. This time, I had a set, sagari, and salt hormone. The quality of the meat is definitely better than supermarkets or regular yakiniku restaurants! The meat quality is similar to higher-end yakiniku restaurants but cheaper and tastier. The meat is tender and has great flavor!

It was a sudden hospitalization, but I was discharged unexpectedly a week ago. This hospitalization was supposed to last about a month, but I was discharged after about 20 days. However, even after discharge, I have to visit the hospital on weekdays. It has been a week since my discharge, and I have finally completed replying to comments on reviews. I am gradually able to resume responding to comments from everyone. Thank you for the many likes on the reviews I posted during my hospitalization. Your support was a great encouragement for my recovery. I have another hospitalization planned before the end of the year, but the timing is uncertain due to the COVID-19 situation. Thank you for your continued support. [February 2021] After returning home from the hospital, I immediately headed to department stores like Mitsukoshi Sapporo. I was quite busy in the hospital bed. (laughs) But I was so tired that I had to lie down for a while after returning home. When I finally turned on my computer after three weeks, I found a mountain of emails. From Tabelog, I received notifications about deleting registered reviews and winning the Reviewer Award 2021 Bronze. I also won the Bronze award in 2020, but I had given up hope for this year as I was completely absent from Tabelog for two months due to hospitalization. Winning two years in a row was a pleasant surprise. I am grateful for everyone's support. "Okonomi no Tsubo" is a stylish butcher shop that opened in September 2020. It is different from traditional butcher shops and has a modern feel to it. While I was absent from Tabelog for two months last fall due to hospitalization, they opened their new shop. After my discharge in January, I received a flyer from the newspaper. It advertised a sale from January 28th to 31st, with discounted meat and bento boxes each day. Finally, I visited the shop with my usual companion. The shop is located on the first floor of a building near Nishi 28-jo Station in the Chuo Ward of Sapporo. Please check Tabelog for the exact location. We visited around 11 AM on a weekday. The shop used to be the space for "Hotto Motto Nishi 28-jo Store." My companion doesn't like fatty meat. The day before our visit, I had reserved two "Kitajima Barley Pork Rare Fillet Tonkatsu Bento for 540 yen each" from the sale flyer. When I told the staff my name, they gave me a number tag. After a while, my number was called, and I paid for the items and received the bento and receipt. I had it for lunch when I got home. The "Kitajima Barley Pork Rare Fillet Tonkatsu Bento" was a rare and fatty fillet cutlet. It was a bit small in size and suitable for lunch. The fillet cutlet was rare and had a lot of fat, typical of rare cuts. The edges of the cutlet were just fat. It came with sauce by default. The bento also included cherry tomatoes, potatoes, purple cabbage, carrots, and lettuce. The bento was a bit on the smaller side, weighing 352g in total. The "Kitajima Barley Pork Rare Fillet Tonkatsu Bento" was a unique bento with a rare and fatty fillet cutlet. It had a greasy texture typical of rare cuts. My usual companion, who doesn't like fatty meat, rated it 1.0 stars. The receipt correctly stated "Rare Fillet Cutlet Bento," so I believe there was no mistake. This bento may be recommended for those who enjoy fatty cuts. The cherry tomatoes had a good quality. Next time, I'd like to try something without fat. (laughs) It was a delicious meal.

Recently, I have been using "Okonomi no Tsubo" quite frequently. By adding the shop as a friend on LINE, I receive regular notifications about special deals, which is very convenient. This time, I reserved a Christmas party platter. The meat platter from the butcher shop is full of variety and volume! The platter in the photo serves 2-3 people and costs 3980 yen + tax. The top row includes prosciutto, salami, and sausages. The bottom row has fried chicken & potatoes, roast beef, ham, gyoza, and pate de campagne. Personally, I enjoyed the roast beef and the herb-infused sausages. I ended up drinking almost a whole bottle of sparkling wine by myself (laughs). Next to the showcase, they also sell a variety of seasonings from "Foods Variety Sugihara," perfect for seasoning the meat. They even had the popular spice "Maximum" from Camper. Since it's close to my place, I will definitely continue to use this shop frequently. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Near Nishi 28th Street Station, there is a specialty meat shop! I asked my wife to buy Oibara Wagyu. I received pork belly as a service from a LINE friend! I made steak following the cooking recipe. The Wagyu was very tender and had a rich meat flavor! I was very satisfied with the Wagyu! The price was a bit high, but it was worth it! Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely go again!

After registering on LINE, I started receiving weekly notifications which led me to try a collaboration bento box. It featured a rare pork cutlet bowl with bacon from Ishikari River. The pork cutlet had a moist coating and the meat was tender with a nice texture. The bacon was also tender with a balanced salty flavor. Since I was a LINE member, I got a 100 yen discount which made the meal even more enjoyable. Thank you for the delicious meal.
