I never thought I would go to Jozankei twice in a month for a day trip. On the way there, I stopped by a place I had been curious about, "KONOMICHI baked kitchen." The shop is full of glass windows, so you can see inside. The scones here are made without eggs. I bought a mini scone set for a snack. It contains five different types of scones. When eaten as is, the scones have a slightly dry texture. The "Scone Sandwich Cream Cheese Raisin" has a unique texture - crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The rum-infused raisins and cream are delicious. The "Carrot Cake" is moist with walnuts, carrots, and spices, topped with frosting and walnuts. The balance of sweetness and spices is just to my liking and very tasty. The following items were all reheated and eaten. The "Earl Grey White Chocolate Muffin" is a weekend and holiday limited item. The muffin looks a bit messy, but the tea leaf-infused batter with white chocolate chunks is delicious. The "Hojicha Caramel Scone" has a crispy surface and a moist inside with a delicious combination of hojicha and caramel. The "Double Chocolate Scone" has a black cocoa batter with chocolate chips and a sweet chocolate topping. It is not too sweet overall. The "Fermented Butter Scone" has a lovely aroma, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. It is delicious on its own and even better with maple syrup drizzled on top. Among all the items I bought, this scone was the most delicious.

From Komazaka Cleaning Factory, I took Route 230 and wandered around the area near Art Forest. After relaxing at a cafe, I visited a scone shop that had caught my eye before. The shop, which seemed to have been a beauty salon or barber shop in the past, had a Showa retro design with a nice retro display at the entrance. Inside, on the right side, there were leather products displayed next to the scones, all of which looked delicious. I couldn't resist and bought four items! I couldn't wait and ate one in the car, which was the "Biscorn Caramel Almond" (270 yen). It was a biscotti-shaped scone that was easy to eat, not as hard as biscotti, and had almonds inside, complementing the simple sweetness of the scone perfectly. The rest I took home. The "Double Chocolate" (270 yen) had cocoa scone with bitter chocolate chip toppings, a nice accent that made it delicious. The "Scone Sandwich An Butter" (330 yen) had plain scone with sweet red bean paste and sliced butter sandwiched inside, a bit difficult to eat but delicious. The "Carrot Cake" (330 yen) was another favorite of mine, with a subtle spice flavor, sweet with large walnuts inside, topped with cheese buttercream and more walnuts. Delicious! I also noticed fermented butter and cream fig walnut that I didn't buy this time, so I have to go back to buy them! Thank you, Konomichi, for the delicious treats!

The other day, I visited the bakery late in the day and was intrigued, so this time I decided to go in the morning. The showcase was filled with a variety of items. After some consideration, I chose three items to purchase. The cinnamon roll scone was delicious with its cinnamon aroma and subtle sweetness. The honey chai scone had a nice tea aroma and was to my liking. I would like to visit again on another occasion. Thank you for the meal.

When I searched the area while visiting Sapporo, I found a shop where I could buy scones and decided to visit. There is a parking lot in front of the store where you can park a few cars. Since it was close to closing time in the evening, most of the products were sold out, but I was able to purchase the scones I was looking for. When I got home, I enjoyed the scones with a crispy surface and just the right amount of sweetness. I would like to visit again at an earlier time when there are more varieties available. Thank you for the meal.

Saturday, it was raining when we arrived at 10:50. There was already one car waiting ahead of us, so we parked and waited in our car as the second in line. Another car arrived later, and the person in that car went into the shop before us. Oh well, there are always people like that. Now, everything looks delicious. I want to try them all. We carefully selected 6 types: Fermented Butter Plain Scone, Double Chocolate Scone, Cream Scone, Milk Earl Grey White Chocolate Scone, Cinnamon Roll Scone, and Cheese Almond Biscuit. The Cheese Almond Biscuit stood out as exceptionally delicious. It goes well with alcohol and can also be a meal. I definitely want to go back for more.

Hello everyone! I'm posting a review that I missed for organizing photos. I went to "Konomichi Baked Kitchen" with a friend on a drive back from curry in Fujino. I had the an butter and cream cheese raisin pastries. They also sell various leather products. I wonder who makes them? The inside of the store has a unique leather smell, but since it's takeout, it's okay. The an butter is delicious, a classic in the world of bread, but it can be a bit dry, so be careful not to choke. Thank you for the meal!

Visited for lunch with family. Located near the Art Forest. Parking available in front of the shop. Bought Coconut Caramel Scone and Cinnamon Roll Scone. Rich flavors that you wouldn't believe are egg-free. It was delicious.
