Summer is the season for curry, and today I came to this restaurant for the first time in 5 years. I remember thinking it was delicious before, but with time passing, I wonder how it is now. It has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants, so my expectations are high. I was thinking of keeping it simple with a spicy chicken curry, but when I looked at the menu, I saw a hamburger curry supervised by Konoyoshi. While tonkatsu curry is my favorite, hamburger curry comes next, so I ended up saying, "Hamburger curry, please." From the counter seat, I could see the cooking process, like being in the S seat at a live show. The hamburger was taken out of the fridge, reshaped, then cooked in a frying pan, covered to steam, and done in just over 10 minutes. The hamburger was placed on the rice, curry poured over, and hamburger sauce drizzled on top to finish. The hamburger had a good thickness, so when placed on the rice, it had a nice height visually. The hamburger was cooked to a slightly pink medium, and when cut, the meat juices oozed out. The hamburger alone was delicious enough, but eating it with curry was a luxurious experience. The curry was labeled as sweet, but it was actually medium spicy like a European-style roux curry, flavorful and delicious. The hamburger was thick yet fluffy, and delicious. The curry was delicious too. The hamburger curry was delicious. The hamburger was steamed and cooked in a frying pan, topped with beef curry, and drizzled with sauce to finish. The voluminous hamburger on the rice looked wonderful. The slightly pink medium-cooked hamburger with juicy meat juices was delightful. The flavor of the coarsely ground meat was delicious. It was great to have it with curry. The curry that goes well with the hamburger. Curry specifically for hamburger curry. It was so delicious. Thank you for the meal.
