I went in for coffee after eating. I chose the drink set where the drink is 150 yen off when you order a muffin. The drip coffee also comes with free refills. New Chitose Airport is spacious and a good place for a break or meeting up when you're tired from shopping. The coffee was delicious and the muffin was warm and tasty. I also liked the coffee cup design.

I spent 3 days in Hokkaido and today is the day I return home. It was surprisingly hot for Hokkaido and I'm tired from walking. When I arrived at New Chitose Airport, the departure lobby on the 2nd floor was crowded with people leaving. I found this shop on the 3rd floor with fewer people and decided to take a break. I ordered a "Mocha Frozen" (715 yen including tax) which I enjoyed in the store. The fine, shaved ice texture of the Mocha Frozen was not too sweet, which was nice. Mixing in the whipped cream halfway through added just the right amount of sweetness. When tired, you crave sweetness, don't you? I said goodbye to my colleague from Hiroshima, whose flight was 2 hours later than mine. There may not be another conference in Hokkaido for me... Next time, I want to come with my family and relax.

I arrived at the airport around 11 am thinking that having soup curry for lunch would be nice. The restaurant area inside the airport was very crowded due to the relaxation of COVID restrictions. The curry restaurant I wanted to go to was closed until 12:30, so I had to change my plans. I tried a few other places, but they were also closed or had long waiting times. Finally, I found a coffee shop that also served curry. I ordered the "Yokohama Bunmei Curry" (beef and chicken) along with a mini salad and an iced coffee. The curry was average, but the iced coffee was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and not crowded, which was a plus. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, although many people may prefer to have soup curry after a trip to Hokkaido.

Snack at 3 o'clock ★ New Chitose Airport "Sanbon Coffee Shop" ◇ Iced Coffee ◇ Coffee Jelly Soft Serve While waiting for the flight home, the 2nd floor shopping world with souvenirs was crowded with people... There was no place to sit, so we went to the cafe on the 3rd floor of the Gourmet World to pass the time until departure... - Coffee Jelly Soft Serve The coffee jelly, made without sugar, goes perfectly with the milk-rich soft serve ice cream and is very delicious. - Iced Coffee A refreshing coffee with a hint of sweetness. It might have been my first time trying it... This was truly the last shop in Hokkaido (^^) / ~~~

In April 2023, my daughter, who had returned home for her first visit after giving birth, and my son-in-law, along with my granddaughter, are heading back to Tokyo. Naturally, we are providing transportation to and from the airport. This year, my mother passed away, but in exchange, a grandchild was born. Unfortunately, my mother did not get to see her great-grandchild, but she was able to say a final goodbye to my daughter before she left, which was a small act of "filial piety" towards her grandmother. The "adorable granddaughter" is being taken back to Tokyo by my daughter and son-in-law. We are using a "child car seat" for the first time, as it was not mandatory when my daughter was a child. We arrived at Chitose Airport earlier than the flight time, so we took a break at the airport. I had a delicious deep roast drip coffee for 462 yen. It was surprisingly tasty. The fact that they offer a refill at this price is much appreciated. I also tried the cold brew coffee jelly soft serve for 660 yen, which was rich and delicious. Now, it's time to head to the boarding gate as the flight departure time approaches. It's time to say a temporary goodbye to my sweet granddaughter. But I might not be able to resist going to see her face one more time. For now, it's just a temporary farewell. I will come to see you again. Or maybe I won't be able to resist and end up chasing after them to Tokyo. (laughs)

I only had 30 minutes until the security inspection deadline, so I quickly grabbed a bite to eat. I ordered the Basil Chicken Sandwich for 748 yen and the Matcha Frozen for 565 yen, then waited at my table. It took 5 minutes for the food to be served, I ate slowly for 10 minutes, and then walked to the inspection area for 5 minutes, but the food was served 15 minutes after I entered the restaurant. I had to eat in a hurry and don't remember the taste. I would like to try it again when I have the chance to savor it slowly. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on a Saturday around 11 am. I thought I'd come before the lunch rush, but it seems like there are more people here just passing time. The turnover is slow. There were 4 kids and 1 adult at a 4-person table. There was another adult at first, but maybe they went to buy souvenirs? They had finished their food and drinks, but the plates were left on the table, and the kids were making noise without anyone clearing up. The basil chicken sandwich I ordered was delicious, but a bit pricey. If it was in the 500 yen range, it would be acceptable. It suddenly got busy, and it seems like the staff are not well-trained.

I met up with a friend who came to see me off at the airport and arrived around 10 o'clock to avoid the crowded parking lot. Unfortunately, the B lot was full, so I had to park in the A lot on the rooftop. There were about 5 spots available, so I decided to visit this place while waiting for my friend. I found a seat at the counter and ordered a drip coffee. The cup was a bit hard to hold because my fingers couldn't fit through the handle, but the coffee was delicious. Drip Coffee For Here cost 462 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

When I went to the airport, I found out that "Ishiya Cafe" at "Sanbon Coffee Shop" was gone, and there weren't many good options for me. The only good place I found was inside the boarding gate. This time, I had a "Bacon Egg Sandwich" and the drink, as usual. I forgot to take a picture. The sandwich was very hot and difficult to hold, with fluffy bread, lettuce, bacon, cheese, half-cooked egg, and mayonnaise with mustard. The bacon was thinly sliced, making it easy to eat. Whenever I go there, I always buy muffins. There are three types: "Vanilla Cookie Muffin" with white chocolate and oreo topping, "Banana Muffin" with banana and nuts, and "Blueberry Muffin" with plenty of sweet blueberries. I always find it strange that muffins are put in a plastic bag at the store, but then transferred to paper when purchased. I heard that a shop opened at Sapporo station, so I will check if they have chocolate muffins next time.

I arrived at the airport at 7:00 and saw off the 8:30 boarding time. I was hungry but the restaurant I wanted to go to opens at 10:00 (tears). I hesitated to eat at the food court, but couldn't find a place that caught my eye. On the way to the food court, I found a coffee shop called Sanbon Coffee. The interior was about 60% full, with seating for 1 person, 2 people, and 4 people. The single seats had partitions for infection prevention. However, you could hear the noise from the kitchen and airport announcements, so it wasn't a quiet atmosphere. The menu included pasta, curry, hot sandwiches, and omurice, so I was satisfied. [Gorgonzola Cream Pasta] 1210 yen When it was brought to me, the aroma of Gorgonzola was delightful. The thick-cut bacon, with a bit more fat, added flavor, and the pasta was cooked just right and delicious. If you order a drink with it, you get a 150 yen discount. [Drip Coffee] 462 yen Refills are allowed. I like my coffee strong, so this one felt a bit weak, almost like American coffee, but it was tasty with little acidity. [Iced Coffee] 495 yen It wasn't too weak, just right, and delicious. Drinks can be taken out. They also offer lattes, juices, frozen drinks, tea, Sapporo Crush Beer, Sapporo Highball, and more. You can customize your coffee with options like espresso, whipped cream, soy milk, and various syrups for an additional 110 yen. They open at 9:00, so it's good for early visits.

When I went to the airport, it became a tradition to buy muffins at "Sanbon Coffee Shop". But the prices are quite high. Even the cakes, which are small, are quite expensive. This time I bought only two: the "Vanilla Cookie Muffin" with a strong vanilla scent and a generous topping of Oreos, and the "Blueberry Muffin" with plenty of semi-dry blueberries. The muffins here are large and satisfying, so I like them. I will buy them again when I go. However, it's sad that many shops in the airport are disappearing.

I finished my business in Hokkaido and am heading back to Tokyo. I had some time before my flight, so I went to Sanbon Coffee shop at the airport. The iced coffee was a bit weak, but the atmosphere of the shop was nice and I could relax during the extra time before my flight. The Bolognese was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The location is on the 2nd floor of New Chitose Airport. Parking at lots A and B is free for the first hour. If you spend over 3000 yen at one store, you get an extra hour free. The previous cafe was MMC Organic Cafe, and this time the water was fine. I ordered a Croque Monsieur, hot cafe latte, and muffin set (banana & walnut muffin, iced cafe latte). The Croque Monsieur took a bit of time but was delicious and hot. The muffin had a nice banana scent and was warm. The cafe latte was good, with a rich coffee flavor and a nice foam. The drip coffee had a refill service, and many people ordered it. The staff were friendly, but my order sequence was a bit confusing. It would have been better to order the Croque Monsieur, then the drink, then the muffin set, then another drink. Eating a full meal might be a bit pricey in an airport, but the sandwich options all looked delicious.

After enjoying a delicious bowl of ramen, I decided to stop by for some coffee as a palate cleanser. The cafe had an inviting atmosphere with a counter in the middle, so I chose a seat nearby since I was dining alone. I asked for a cold brew coffee since the interior was warm despite it being autumn. The coffee arrived promptly and it helped refresh my mouth which had become rich from the ramen broth. The cafe also offered light snacks, but I just stuck to coffee (laughs). After leaving my luggage at the hotel where I would check in later in the afternoon, I continued my walk.

I used this restaurant to pass the time before boarding the plane. The establishment was impressive, with a calm atmosphere. I wanted to order a bacon and egg sandwich, but requested the egg to be well done instead of runny, which they couldn't accommodate due to cooking constraints. I gave up, thinking that transportation hub restaurants are always practical. The menu also offered dishes like omurice and spaghetti, so I decided to try the nostalgic Napolitan spaghetti. It turned out to be surprisingly delicious, with a mild and tasty flavor without the overpowering ketchup taste. Typically, it would come with powdered cheese, but the absence of it made me think that the flavor was pre-prepared. My companion had a sweet potato cream latte, which was overly sweet. Additionally, they ordered ice cream but received hot coffee instead. When they later ordered a hot coffee after the spaghetti, it was forgotten. The staff was friendly, but they made mistakes with the orders. The coffee cups and plates had a lovely Western-style design. Overall, if the customer service was more refined, it would enhance the experience of this restaurant.

In August 2020, there were some changes in the food and beverage outlets at New Chitose Airport International Terminal due to its renovation. A café on the 3rd floor of the domestic terminal, previously operating as "M.M.C. Organic Café," has now been rebranded as "Sanbon Coffee Shop." While the parent company remains the same, with "M.M.C." originally standing for Sanbon Coffee, they seem to have undergone a brand change. The company changed its name from "Sanbon Coffee Co., Ltd." to "Sanbon Coffee Co., Ltd." in 2019, and refreshed its logo, possibly as part of an image strategy. The true intention behind the name change is unclear, but it may be a way to create a stylish image by combining kanji characters with the western drink of coffee, similar to U.C.C (Ueshima Coffee) using "Ueshima Coffee Shop." The sign outside the shop is new, but the interior has not changed significantly, possibly due to reduced seating during the COVID-19 pandemic. I tried their "Cold Brew Iced Coffee," which had a refreshing and smooth taste without any strange bitterness. I don't usually drink iced coffee, but the cold brew version was enjoyable even without syrup. The slightly reduced seating allows for a more comfortable and less crowded experience, making it a valuable rest spot in the New Chitose Airport domestic area.

Personally, I had never heard of this coffee shop in the MMC series. I also visited LAT.25, which is part of the same series, at Haneda Airport, and their cold brew iced coffee was also incredibly delicious. Here's what I ordered: - Zucchini and Tomato Vegetarian Pasta - Omelette Rice - Gorgonzola Cream Sauce - Shiitake Mushroom Japanese-style Pasta The Gorgonzola was in a carbonara pasta, and the cheese was rich and very tasty. The omelette rice with demi-glace sauce had a deep flavor like that of a Western restaurant. The cold brew iced coffee was refreshing and delicious. The White Mocha had a generous amount of whipped cream, making it feel like a dessert. Additionally, the espresso had a strong taste, giving it a luxurious feel.

Yesterday, my flight was cancelled due to bad weather, so I rescheduled for the next day and headed to Chitose. I mistakenly booked a later flight than the one I had originally planned, so I ended up having to kill time for 2 hours in Chitose. I visited two cafes, bought some souvenirs, and passed the time until my flight. The first cafe I went to was quiet and empty due to the impact of the new coronavirus. I ordered coffee and a hot cheese sandwich, both of which were to my liking. I chose a strong coffee because I prefer it that way. The scene at the quiet Chitose Airport was something you don't see often. I hope the new coronavirus situation improves soon. By the way, there were only 15 people on the JAL flight from Chitose to Chubu Centrair International Airport.

A new Sanbon Coffee shop has opened at New Chitose Airport. I visited with a friend. We ordered: Omelette Rice for 1,188 yen, Chocolate Parfait for 748 yen, and a Hot Café Latte for 495 yen. Set option for an additional 150 yen. The omelette rice had a creamy egg and not too ketchuppy rice. The croque-monsieur had hot melted cheese. The parfait had Lotte's classic chocolate. The sponge cake had a firm texture but was also fluffy and delicious. I'm not sure what was in the location before, but it feels spacious. The service was very fast, perfect for those in a hurry. They said the omelette rice would be served from 10 am, but it arrived before that. I ordered after reading the menu but the parfait came before I finished the omelette rice. It was a faster service than a family restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
