The first food adventure in September was at "Clock," which I hadn't been to in about 2 years. I had the Beef Cheese Curry with an iced coffee for lunch. Clock is a popular European-style curry restaurant with a wide variety of menu options including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, sausages, and more. Each dish has a cheese curry option. I chose the Beef Cheese Curry with a spice level of "very spicy" and kept the rice as is. The spice levels available are normal, spicy, very spicy, and extremely spicy (2x to 10x). The rice can be upgraded to a larger portion for a fee, and extra rice can be added. The dish arrived with beef in the center of the rice, followed by a pot of curry with plenty of cheese. I mixed the curry and cheese lightly before pouring it over the rice. The combination of the sweetness of the vegetables and fruits, the richness of the beef, and the creaminess of the cheese made the dish incredibly delicious. The "very spicy" level was not as intense as I expected, possibly due to the abundance of cheese. The beef topping on the rice was tender and satisfying. I managed to finish the dish easily and enjoyed the rich flavors of the cheese curry. There is parking space available for about 7 cars in front of the restaurant, and a second parking lot is located a short distance to the left of the restaurant.

It's past 7 PM on Friday with no lines. About a 10-minute bike ride from Maruyama Koen Station. The shredded beef on top of the rice is delicious, I couldn't resist eating a quarter without adding the sauce. The concentrated and rich European-style curry is slightly salty, but it goes perfectly with the egg and cheese, making it delicious. It may not be for those who like spicy or soup curry, but if you enjoy European-style curry (like Bondi, Campanile, Soleil, Rudemare, etc. in Tokyo), you will like it. I underestimated Hokkaido curry. Soup curry is famous in Hokkaido. However, people living in Sapporo recommend regular curry over soup curry. I wanted to visit a restaurant that a blogger living in Sapporo recommended in April 2023. When I arrived 2 minutes before opening, there was already a line forming. I was able to park in the parking lot in front of the store. We were seated at a table as the fourth group. My son ordered the Bone-in Chicken Cheese Curry Spicy (1,430 yen) and I ordered the Beef Cheese Curry Extra Spicy x2 (1,450 yen). The food was served in about 15 minutes. The curry roux, which is simmered for a long time until the ingredients such as plenty of vegetables and fruits become pureed, has a low viscosity and a rich, sticky texture. It is condensed and well-cooked, so if you eat only the curry roux, it may taste slightly salty. The beef, which is cooked until it is soft and easily falls apart, is excellent and more voluminous than it looks! Pour the cheese curry roux from the pot over the beef. The stretchiness of the cheese is irresistible! The large amount of cheese helps to soften the richness and spiciness, so I recommend increasing the spiciness. I ordered the extra spicy x2, but it was not sharp and had a soft spiciness. Pickled radish and fukujinzuke are placed on the table as accompaniments. I went there at noon today. I thought I wouldn't be able to get in because it's crowded here... but on the way to another restaurant, I noticed an empty parking space... in that moment, I turned on my turn signal, turned the steering wheel to the right, and smoothly parked my car in the space. It was around 11:30. Inside the restaurant, the counter seats were quite empty... so I immediately took a seat. I glanced at the menu and saw that they had today's curry! Today's curry was pork curry. I thought that sounded good, so I ordered a large portion of rice. I had been drinking coffee all morning, so I decided to skip the drink... the total came to 1050 yen. They also had an extra-large portion, but I decided to go with the spicy option. After about 10 minutes, my order arrived. By then, the restaurant was almost full... definitely a popular spot. The rice had some chew to it but was delicious... the pork was tasty, although it was more like boiled pork. The curry sauce was so good... I couldn't stop eating it. I realized that getting the extra-large portion might have been a good idea, as I was running out of rice before finishing the sauce. I left the restaurant feeling slightly regretful for not getting the extra-large portion... it was a bit pricey, but the deliciousness made it worth it.

It's been a few years since I last visited Clock, and it was a delightful experience. I ordered the bone-in chicken cheese curry, which was a unique and delicious dish. The bone-in chicken was tender and easy to eat, without needing a knife. The rich curry flavor combined with the creamy cheese was very satisfying. Towards the end, it felt a bit heavy, but that may just be my age catching up with me. Next time, I think I'll try the beef curry without cheese.

I arrived just before the opening time and the parking lot was already full of cars. It seems like there are many regular customers. Sometimes I feel like eating curry, and I visited this famous restaurant. Be careful because it's hard to find parking. In addition to the parking in front of the store, there seems to be a second parking lot, but I forgot to take a picture. The menu feels quite traditional and slightly expensive. This time, I decided on the Pork Cheese Curry. I chose the extra spicy level and extra rice. When the dish was brought to me, I saw that the rice and curry were served separately, and it seemed like you are supposed to pour the curry over the rice little by little. I tried a bite and surprisingly, I think I can handle the spiciness level 10. The spare ribs covered in curry sauce were luxurious! The juiciness of the meat was excellent. A popular topping that lives up to its reputation. The curry here really hits the spot for my taste. I love curries that have onions cooked down to perfection... I say this phrase a lot, but that's how much I love it. I was satisfied once again. I'd like to try different toppings next time. Thank you for the meal.

I often go to Suage Soup Curry, and I had noticed a sign nearby that caught my interest. It had a somewhat retro vibe and read "Clock"... Upon researching, I found that it had been registered as a top 100 restaurant multiple times in the past. So, I had to check it out! We went for lunch and the place was almost full, but we were seated right away. We checked the menu and ordered the lunch curry with a drink included. Today's lunch curry was Sausage Curry. I ordered it spicy, with normal rice. The sausage was cut into bite-sized pieces and placed on top of the rice. The curry sauce was quite rich and thick, almost like it had been simmered for a long time. When eaten together with the rice, it was absolutely delicious! So tasty! I chose the spicy level as very spicy, but because of the richness and sweetness, it wasn't too hot. I could handle more spice next time, maybe 2-3 times spicier. I ordered oolong tea as my drink. Click! My boyfriend went all out with the toppings. For his lunch curry, he added squid, bone-in chicken, extra rice, and made it 5 times spicier. The extra rice means they increase both the rice and curry sauce. Nice touch! Overall, it was a fantastic curry experience. Rich and satisfying...
