I had no issues with the other meats; they were very delicious, and I was thinking of coming back. However, when I ordered two servings of premium ribeye (1,980 yen each), two completely different pieces of meat arrived. Here’s what happened: only the premium ribeye came out separately, and I didn’t think much of it at first. The first plate had what appeared to be a thick piece of meat resembling grilled short ribs, with a large chunk of sinew in the middle, red in color, and completely different from the image on the menu. It definitely did not taste like meat worth 1,980 yen. The thickness made me ask, “Is this skirt steak?” but I was told, “It’s premium ribeye!” Honestly, it tasted like something worth about 780 yen.
Later on, the second plate was brought out, and it was indeed the premium ribeye I expected—beautifully thin, pink, and just as shown in the menu image. It was completely different from the first plate and very delicious, justifying the 1,980 yen price tag.
Now, regarding the two dishes: the thickness, taste, and color were worlds apart, with one being pink and the other red, which was clearly strange. When I asked the staff, “The first meat wasn’t premium ribeye, right? There was sinew, and the thickness is completely different from the second plate,” they stubbornly insisted, “The meat’s condition varies depending on how it’s cut. They’re both premium ribeye.”
Honestly, I’ve never seen or eaten premium ribeye with a big round chunk of sinew attached! So, they informed me that if you order two servings, you might receive meat of varying quality. Well, I won’t be visiting such an establishment with unstable quality again. I advise everyone to be cautious if you order two servings at this restaurant.
