It was Saturday evening, and I was able to get a table just after making a phone reservation an hour earlier. The appearance and atmosphere of the restaurant were very similar to a place I often visit called "Yakiniku Futago," to the point where I could hardly tell the difference at first glance. Honestly, there aren’t many significant differences in the menu either. One common point is that the cost-performance isn’t particularly great, but making reservations is relatively easy. However, one advantage of "Futago" is that they tend to grill the meat for you more often. Also, at this restaurant, they checked our ages (everyone in my group, including me, is in our late 20s), which might indicate that the staff's judgment and service quality are perhaps better at Futago. As for the taste of the yakiniku, it felt like an upgraded version of what you would find at a family restaurant. However, I don't have much experience visiting yakiniku places, so take this as a reference.

The Harami Tower Steak Set, just a short walk from the station, was incredibly tender and really delicious! It came with rice, soup, and kaktuki (pickled radish), all for an amazing price of 1000 yen. The cost performance is great, and during lunch time, there are plenty of other meat set options to choose from, which is really nice. The inside of the restaurant is bright and has a good atmosphere, so I noticed quite a few women dining alone as well.

The "Densetsu Mori" beef tongue and harami were excellent, and the hormone dishes were delicious as well. The service was friendly, and I was personally very satisfied. Additionally, the staff grills the beef tongue, harami, and kalbi from the "Densetsu Mori" for you, cutting them into easy-to-eat sizes while grilling.

Thank you for your hard work. We’ve wrapped up one phase of our project, and today we’re celebrating with some "yakiniku" (grilled meat). We gathered at "Yakiniku Kokokara" in Toyocho! This restaurant just opened this year and has been operating for only about six months! We had the whole place to ourselves, which was fantastic! Everyone was relieved that we had no accidents. Now, let me introduce the dishes in the order they were served! **Dish: Legendary Platter (6578 yen, tax included)** - Taste: 3.3, Cost Performance: 2.8 This platter includes Thick Beef Tongue (3278 yen), Thick Skirt Steak (2508 yen), and Thick Tenderloin (3608 yen). The total comes to 8404 yen but it's offered for 6578 yen! The staff do the grilling for us. **Thick Skirt Steak:** The large chunk is placed on the grill. Once it’s cooked on the outside, the staff cut it into smaller pieces. The taste? Well, everyone seems happy, but it’s quite fibrous, making it harder to chew, and the juiciness is not as rich as expected. It seems that big chunks aren’t ideal; they’re more for show than flavor. **Thick Beef Tongue:** Cut into bite-sized cubes. The crunchy texture is enjoyable, but it needs a bit more cooking for the flavor to develop fully. **Thick Tenderloin:** This arrives in a large chunk as well. After grilling the exterior, it’s cut into pieces and then taken to the back kitchen. When it comes back, it’s topped with green onions and garlic chips. It's easy to eat, but the flavor is slightly lacking, which may be due to the cooking method. **Beef Cheek Sashimi (858 yen)** - Cost Performance: 4.5 This was the best dish of the night! The sweet sauce on the tightly packed beef cheek makes it delicious when eaten raw, complemented beautifully by the rich, velvety egg yolk. Placing this over rice (250 yen for a small portion) makes for a fantastic presentation and taste. It's incredibly sweet and so good that I can’t believe it! I just created a "dangerously delicious" dish! **Muscle Guy Beef Tendon Yaki (638 yen)** - Cost Performance: 4.0 This is delicious! There are no bothersome fibers, just intense flavor — it’s fantastic! I wonder which part of the cow this comes from? **Signature Meat Rice (1298 yen)** - Taste: 3.2 This is typically ordered as a closing dish. In many yakiniku places, the rice tends to be a bit sticky. I’d recommend going for plain white rice instead. **Kimchi Three-Item Set (748 yen)** - Cost Performance: 3.4 Taste-wise, this is pretty average, but the portion size is generous. **Chanja Namul (858 yen)** - Cost Performance: 3.3 This is pretty standard. It’s a good choice if you have a larger group. Overall, everything was quite tasty! The photogenic “thick” items were somewhat underwhelming, but the beef cheek was definitely a hit!

You can enjoy delicious meat no matter when you visit. The offal is also tasty. I started coming here from a place called Rea in Tsukiji, but gradually more locations opened up, and I've started going to the one in Toyocho as well. The restaurants are clean, and the staff is friendly. They have a wide variety of sour cocktails, and it’s a nice place to stop by for a casual meal.

I ordered the Legendary Assortment Jr (80g of Hiri, 80g of Tongue, 100g of Harami) and the White Assortment with 7 items (Liver, Hachinosu, Tontoro, Gyu-mitsu, Hormone, Beef Tendon, and Nodonankotsu), along with a three-item kimchi set, definitely some Namuru, seared beef tripe sashimi, cold noodles, a small rice, and two cups of black oolong tea. The other day, I wrote a review on Tabelog and won 5,000 V points, so I decided to use all of them on a solo yakiniku meal! The dipping sauce was excellent and had a great flavor! The Legendary Assortment is prepared by the staff, who grill it to a blue rare to rare level and cut it into easy-to-eat dice. After that, you can grill it further to your preferred level of doneness. The other meats were reasonably priced and good as well!

I was drawn in by the promise of delicious thick-cut grilled meat and made a reservation to visit the restaurant. However, perhaps my expectations were too high, as it turned out to be disappointing for me. Considering the atmosphere of the restaurant and the quality of the meat, the cost-performance ratio wasn't great and it didn't suit my taste. Thank you for the meal.

We went as a group of 5: 2 adults, a college student, a middle school student, and a young child, and the total came to 22,000 yen. The atmosphere was casual, but the meat was quite pricey, which made me feel that the cost-performance ratio wasn't great. However, all the meat was delicious. I think the overall taste was good, but the high prices probably contributed to the low ratings on review sites. If money were no object, I would definitely want to go back for the flavor. Usually, when we visit other yakiniku restaurants with this group, the bill is around 15,000 to 18,000 yen, so I was left wondering why it was so much higher this time.

I went to check out the new place that opened in Toyocho. I had the mixed salt grilled meat for a light meal. It's great to be able to enjoy delicious and easy-to-eat meat. The mix included kalbi, pork belly, and horumon, allowing me to taste everything and have a light dinner. The signature thick-cut meat from Koko is an outstanding menu option. The flavor was excellent, and when I got tired of the salt, I could also dip it in the sauce provided. I will definitely go again.

I made a reservation for Saturday at 5 PM and the place filled up quickly. The namul, kimchi, and the盛りM were all delicious, along with the premium tongue, kalbi, hirakoro, and tripe. The quality of the meat was excellent, so I definitely want to go back. The restaurant isn't very large, which is nice because you don’t have to wait long after ordering. Also, the restroom was extremely clean, which was another plus.

Yakiniku Kokokara has opened in Toyocho! It offers a decent cost-performance ratio with high-quality meat. This is definitely a place I'll revisit.

As always, the satisfaction level is high! We went as a family, and everyone rated the sauce as excellent. One more important point is the rice, which was also quite good, but could be improved. Since I have a high school son, feeling full is a crucial factor, but overall, we are satisfied.

I’m cutting back on meat for now. Next time, I’d like to go with a group that enjoys a bit more meat. The seating was cramped, and the lighting was rather inconvenient. Despite being a new restaurant, the facilities felt a bit cheap.
