KG&LP
☆LP☆ I visited for lunch on a Sunday. There are about 6 parking spaces in front and behind the restaurant. Luckily, the front was empty so I parked there. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed a unique and fun atmosphere, perhaps reflecting the owner's hobbies. There were many food magazines, which personally made me happy. The walls displayed maps showing the origin of the ingredients, which was reassuring. When you mention mushrooms, it's from Aibetsu! When you mention chicken, it's from Shiretoko! Hmm, my expectations were raised. I sat at a table and looked at the menu. The pictures made it easy to understand, but the portions seemed a bit small. I, LP, wanted to eat vegetables so I ordered the chicken and vegetable curry with a topping of the intriguing grilled potatoes. KG, who loves shimeji mushrooms, ordered the chicken and shimeji curry with a large serving of soup. There was no choice for spiciness, but you could adjust it using the cayenne pepper on the table. While waiting, customers came in and out, with a couple of them getting takeout orders. After about 15 minutes, our food was served. As expected, the portion of ingredients seemed a bit small compared to other restaurants. KG's large soup serving made the ingredients look even smaller. It might not be enough for men. I tried the soup first. LP's spice level was just right without adding cayenne pepper. It was not too spicy, more like a medium level of heat. When you scoop with a spoon, you can see lots of spices, giving it a unique flavor that's hard to describe. Although the domestic vegetables didn't stand out, the grilled potatoes topping was delicious. It was a shame that the broccoli wasn't fried. There were only 2 pieces of chicken, which felt a bit lacking, but the crispy skin was well done. Overall, it was just average. It's a shame there was nothing particularly noteworthy. Sapporo has many soup curry restaurants, and I hope this one, which focuses on domestic ingredients, will continue to do well. Thank you for the meal!
