I was hospitalized 5 times last year for my disease treatment. I had my first hospitalization of 2022 in January and was discharged 27 days ago. The restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog for two consecutive years. I visited with my usual companion for the first time for lunch. The restaurant is located in a building on the basement floor along Nishi 1-jo Street in the central area of Sapporo. Lunch set menus are reasonably priced, almost under 1000 yen, despite being in the city center. The lunch set includes a drink and dessert. We both ordered the "Lunch Kashmir Curry Chicken Vegetable Set" as it is the spiciest curry on the menu. The Kashmir curry is known for its spiciness and rich flavor. The set came with fried chicken, vegetables, and rice topped with fried onions, along with a lassi drink and orange jelly for dessert. The total price was 900 yen including tax. The Kashmir curry was flavorful and had a good level of spiciness. It was a satisfying meal for both of us. The lassi was rich and sweet, and the orange jelly dessert was enjoyable. The vegetables were the size of those in soup curry, and the curry was perfectly spicy with lots of spices. It was delicious! The roast pork was tender and had just the right amount of salt. The authentic curry lived up to the restaurant's name. For 900 yen, it was a great deal! I left very satisfied. Next time, I'll try the Kashmir curry, which also looked delicious.

The dish consisted of potatoes, carrots, fried green peppers, eggplant, and a large tonkatsu on rice. The soup had a fragrant spice aroma that lingered in the nose. It had a slightly sour taste with a refreshing flavor despite being oily. I wished it had a bit more punch. The spiciness was not overpowering but made me sweat from the top of my head. It had a very good level of spiciness, highly recommended for spicy food lovers. I should have chosen the extra spicy option. The daily sausage was thick and long, and it seemed to be fried. It was delicious with a hint of herbs. The curry had potatoes, carrots, and eggplant. It was delicious as always. After finishing the meal, I checked the photos and realized that there were no pictures inside the restaurant. I was disappointed as I had used Microsoft Pix to avoid shutter sounds, but sometimes it doesn't capture the image. I only had a photo of the outside of the restaurant taken with the default camera. Choice of ingredients: chicken & vegetables, pork & vegetables, beef & vegetables I ordered the "Soup Beef & Vegetables" for 1,300 yen, while my companion ordered the "Soup Chicken & Vegetables" for 1,200 yen, both with normal spiciness. Since it was evening, we had to pay for drinks and a cover charge. We ordered two soft drinks (ginger ale & lassi) for 500 yen each and paid a cover charge of 300 yen each. The drinks arrived first, followed by the curries in about 10 minutes. The "Soup Beef & Vegetables" had a thin, flavorful soup curry with a generous portion of beef cutlet on top of the rice. It contained carrots, potatoes, eggplant, and bell peppers, offering a good balance of vegetables. The beef cutlet was a bit greasy. The "Soup Chicken & Vegetables" had the same vegetables as the beef curry, but with a large chicken cutlet. I was surprised to see fried cutlets instead of grilled beef or chicken in the curry, as I had assumed from the menu names. Overall, I recommend visiting this restaurant for lunch if you're not planning to drink alcohol, as it offers better value during the day.
