I found an amazing restaurant. I really love it. I had been curious about it for a while, but I finally got to go. Everything was great. No matter what I ate. Japanese sake, wine, and the option to choose the size of beer. Everything was the best. Everyone should go. Definitely.

This hidden gem of a restaurant offers high-quality sashimi and delicious overall dishes. The appetizers, which are like a clear soup, are a common feature in good restaurants in this area, and the selection of drinks is also extensive. While it may be a bit pricey, it is a satisfying choice in this area. Non-smoking.

A popular Japanese-style restaurant with a calm atmosphere where jazz music plays. The head chef, Kozawa, trained at Nada Man and a hotel in Sapporo, is a skilled chef with a refined taste. It is located near Nakajima Park. According to the hostess, the elegant flavors attract mostly elderly couples who come for a sophisticated meal after concerts at the nearby concert hall Kitara (known for classical music performances). Reservations are essential for early hours. The menu offers a variety of a la carte dishes, making it suitable for light drinking or ordering a variety of dishes. The counter seating allows for chatting with the hostess while enjoying the meal. The meal included octopus, sukesou daran ginger simmered, grilled kwai, shirako tempura, Hakodate oyster tempura, tarako shirako tempura, snow crab cream croquette, yurine manju, kudzu sauce, Sapporo Nama Sanzenzakura, Kitashizuku, Hokkaido, easy to drink and fruity Dupel 6.66 Belgian beer, shumai (2 pieces), pork bowl, walnut sherbet (light and delicious). The total bill was 7180 yen. It was a delightful meal, and I can sleep soundly tonight.

Today was a year-end party for a kimono club, and we had the restaurant all to ourselves. My senior often uses this place, and it was my first time visiting. We enjoyed a variety of dishes that go well with alcohol while chatting and having fun. I couldn't fully focus on the food because of the lively atmosphere, but the attention to detail in the dishes was impressive. The last dish, the sea bream rice, was delicious!

On a Sunday evening, I was wandering around the Susukino area. Unexpectedly, I couldn't get a reservation anywhere. After hearing "I'm sorry, we're fully booked" from about four places, I was about to give up for the night. But with my stubborn nature, I decided to make one last call. Luckily, they said they could accommodate me. So, I headed over. The restaurant was inconspicuous and had a clean, smoke-free interior. The chef was working alone behind the counter. I ordered some plum wine and was served simmered squid with daikon as an appetizer. The daikon was neatly cut and the flavors were exceptional. The sashimi was surprising with herring as one of the dishes. The taste was outstanding. The salad had crispy dried baby sardines, and the dressing was delicious. I also tried corn tempura, which was light and crispy. Another fried dish was deep-fried lily bulbs with salted kelp, which was crunchy and flavorful. The grilled dish was flounder, which was perfectly cooked and brought out the natural flavors. For the final dish, I had a small pork bowl, which was savory and satisfying. After finishing the meal, the restaurant owners kindly bid me farewell. As I walked back to my accommodation under the moonlight, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the delicious meal and the warm hospitality. I made a mental note to visit this restaurant again in the future.

Facing the bustling entertainment district of Susukino, I followed my smartphone's location information. Along the promenade that flows along the outer perimeter of Nakajima Park, the trees in the park were illuminated by the moonlight, creating a lively night scene. At the grand Western-style building "Toyohirakan" along the way, I could see a silhouette of violin or cello performance through the window. What a romantic sight. Due to it being a Sunday, most of the restaurants were fully booked, but I managed to find one last place and it turned out to be a wonderful restaurant. The prologue was a dreamy moonlit path. The door illuminated by a faint light was quietly waiting. "Shun-sai Kappo Kurumisawa" was the name on the door, and inside was a quiet space with a jazz music playing in a Japanese modern setting. Starting with drinks, I ordered a recommended sake tasting set, which included "Katafune" from Niigata at -3 degrees, "Tennoto" from Akita at +2.3 degrees, and "Unfined Sake" from Nara at -7.3 degrees. Each sake had its own unique taste and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The appetizer served was squid and daikon radish, which had a rich flavor. Next, a sashimi platter with herring, sardine, Tokishirazu, tuna, and squid was served. Each piece was fresh and delicious, especially the herring and sardine. The salad with chrysanthemum petals and the tempura of Furano corn were outstanding. The marinated lotus root and salted kelp dish was a perfect combination. Lastly, I enjoyed a dried overnight silver flounder with a highball. Overall, the dining experience at Shun-sai Kappo Kurumisawa in Hokkaido was memorable and delightful.

My husband had been clamoring to go to a restaurant he had wanted to visit for a long time. We made a reservation by phone in advance. The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived. - Appetizers: Konbu with child fish, fried horse mackerel, edamame. The mini fried horse mackerel had soft flesh and crispy coating. - Sashimi platter: Tuna, flounder marinated in konbu, squid. All of them were delicious! - Cold corn and junsai soup: A cold soup with junsai soaked in yuzu, giving a fragrant Japanese flavor. I love cold soups and this one was so delicious that I wanted to drink about 1 liter of it. - Corn tempura: Crispy and delicious flat type of tempura. Also very tasty! - Crab cream croquette: A visually appealing dish with an amazing aroma! Most crab cream croquettes don't have a strong crab scent, but this one had a remarkable fragrance. Delicious!! - Seseri (chicken neck) karaage: Tender and juicy seseri, not greasy and easy to eat. Very tasty! - Lily root manju: I tried a little bit of my husband's and it was chewy and delicious, with an exquisite filling. I wish they served this as a soup too! It had no bitterness at all, and I couldn't believe it, so I kept drinking it. Everything was delicious and we were very satisfied! Thank you for the meal! (^^)

In my neighborhood, there was a traditional Japanese restaurant that I always found intriguing but felt intimidated to visit. One day, as I was passing by, I noticed a sign that said "Weekday Takeout Available." It turns out they only offer takeout on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and reservations must be made by 2 pm on the same day. The set menu included items like smoked cheese with smoked salmon, bonito sashimi with cream cheese, marinated herring and firefly squid, simmered octopus, squid marinated in soy sauce, duck roast, cucumber with miso and green onions, and smoked herring. The actual items may vary, as mentioned on their blog. The portions were small and not very visually appealing, but when I tried them, they were incredibly delicious and paired well with alcohol. I had chilled some good beer for this occasion, but the dishes were more suited for sake. They went well with beer too, but the combination with sake was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the bonito sashimi with cream cheese for its rich and creamy texture. The marinated squid was too spicy for my liking, though. I would definitely treat myself to their takeout again, perhaps trying their cream croquettes or rolled omelets next time. It's a bit challenging to visit alone, and the location makes it hard to invite friends, but I would like to experience the calming atmosphere of the restaurant in person.

I have visited this restaurant several times, so I will only talk about what I ate... (*´ω`*) The appetizers were simmered octopus, fried smelt, and Shiga-produced red konjac cooked with yuzu pepper (forgot to take a photo). We also had homemade karasumi (bottarga), deep-fried daikon and shrimp spring rolls, black sesame tofu, sea urchin, and oyster hot pot, tempura of taranome (Japanese angelica shoots) and butterbur sprouts, and finished with cold green tea soba. Everything was delicious! (*´∀`)♪

Today, I had a special meal at a restaurant. It cost 6,000 yen per person, and I asked for a course meal using seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. I was a bit nervous, so I didn't remember the names of the dishes very well. I'm sorry for that.

There is a reason why I live nearby! A reviewer who found out about it was delighted and organized a tram tour to a shop just a short walk from Nakajima Koen Station. The four members gathered to make sure no one was late (laughs). First, we toasted with beer. The appetizers were beautifully presented in a three-dish assortment. The sesame tofu is unforgettable, even after some time has passed. The members who love lily bulbs chose lily bulb dishes from the menu and ordered. There were no disappointments. Even though the members suddenly became vegetarians, they did not order meat dishes, but were satisfied with the delicious food! The restaurant seems to put a lot of effort into their sake selection, and although we got a bit tipsy, we enjoyed the food and drinks. It was a great time spent. The restaurant was fully booked with many people unable to get in and having to leave. Each dish was served with care and took time. I had a great meal at this fully booked place. Thank you!

We gathered after a long time. Today's destination was Yamahana-kai. It was a reservation made by a young lady who couldn't stop thinking about this place. I didn't really want to see the former big shot from the company, but unfortunately, we ran into each other at the intersection (sigh). The restaurant itself can be found, but you might not notice the door unless you search well. The interior is slightly dark. There are 4 counter seats and 4 table seats. We sat at one of the table seats and started with a toast with beer. If you leave it for a while, the foam forms a perfect circle. Is it divine foam? This glass costs 580 yen, so it's not cheap. Cheers. The appetizers arrived. Sesame tofu, with a sticky texture that was excellent. Fried iwashi (sardine), the bread sandwiched in it was well seasoned. Vinegared mackerel, with a nice tangy flavor from the vinegar. We were all impressed by the appetizers and decided to focus on dishes that had some extra effort put into them. We concluded that dishes that were just baked or cut were a waste. Fried lily root with salted kelp, I had lily root for the first time. It was good. The saltiness of the kelp was also well balanced. Crab cream croquette, thin breading, nice shape. The inside was creamy. It paired perfectly with the sauce. According to the food-loving young lady, it's difficult to make it like this. Lily root steamed bun with kudzu bean paste Lily root dish number two. This was a hit. I can't express it well, but it was delicious. Rolled omelette with scallop and lily root No overflowing broth, a well-made rolled omelette with just the right amount of broth. The level of skill can be seen in the broth. Scallop and Lily Root No Ahijo Lily root dish number three. We decided to order it to conquer all the lily root dishes. The bread was good on its own. Maybe due to the mild flavors of the ingredients, it lacked impact. We started with a beer and then tried a set of different drinks. The best one was the "Kenkonichi" (Kenkonichi) sake from Miyagi. Finally, even the chef saw us off outside. Thank you for the meal. It was a fun time listening to various stories, enjoying delicious food and drinks.

Yamanohana drinking (n´v`n) - It was a fun and enjoyable time! We visited two places, both of which were really good. There are still many more unvisited places in Yamanohana, so the Yamanohana drinking series will continue in the future. The first place we went to was a restaurant that I had been curious about for a few years. It seemed a bit intimidating, but since there were four of us this time, we decided to go for it. The food was delicious overall and I especially loved the Lily Root Manju with Kudzu An Sauce - it was amazing! The dashimaki tamago was also delicious as expected. We also tried a sake tasting set with three different types, and my favorite was "Kenkon Ichi" from Miyagi. We started with beer, but the sake was great too. With all the dishes we tried, the total cost per person was around 4000 yen, which was reasonable. I definitely want to come back to try more dishes. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I made a reservation and went to the restaurant. The appetizers were simmered octopus, shellfish, and marinated sea bream. The chilled tofu with dried young sardines and green onions was delicious. The thinly sliced flounder sashimi in ponzu sauce was so tasty. The salt-grilled white asparagus had a strong aroma and a juicy, fruity taste. The broiled blackthroat seaperch with miso was flavorful. The butter-grilled asparagus was sweet and delicious. We also had a pickled vegetable assortment as a palate cleanser. The beef fillet steak was incredibly tender and tasty. We ended the meal with grilled rice balls. Everything was delicious, and I will definitely go back again.

Today's appetizers were marinated firefly squid with vinegar miso and seaweed with vinegar. They were well balanced and tasty. The mozuku vinegar dish varied in vinegar intensity depending on the ingredients, and it was delicious. I finally got to try the deep-fried tofu that I missed out on last time, and it was really good. Whale heart sashimi was a first for me, but it was easy to eat without any strong flavors. The tempura of wild vegetables had rich flavors of various mountain vegetables and was delicious. The sea bream with crab sauce wrapped in sakura mochi-style ground sea bream was topped with crab broth, giving it a rich flavor. It was tasty. For the finale, I had a small pork bowl, which was also delicious. Although I wasn't feeling well today, I wish I could have enjoyed the dishes more. I hope to get back to full health soon.

I came here because I wanted to eat something delicious (*´∇`*). Today's appetizers are chicken tsukune, fried something from Gobo, and firefly squid with vinegar miso dressing (*´ω`*). They are all delicious (*´・ω・`)b. Today's side dish is cucumber with negi miso - the negi miso tastes so good that I can't believe it (*´ω`*). Cod milt with ponzu sauce - still delicious, I can't help but smile ( *´艸`). I accidentally ordered dashimaki tamago instead of agedashi tofu (*´艸`) but it's delicious because the broth is flavorful. Bamboo shoot with wood sorrel - fragrant and delicious (*´ω`*). Beef fillet steak - tender enough to cut with a tongue, and the sweet potatoes as a side taste like candied sweet potatoes, combined with the Japanese-style sauce it's sweet and savory (°▽°). I had tea soba as a finisher (*´∇`*) The slightly firm boiled soba has a tea flavor and tastes delicious (*´・ω・`)b. I drank lemon sour (°▽°) as I can only drink sweet or sour drinks and not beer, whiskey, or sake (*´ω`*). Eating delicious food and drinking makes me feel really good ( *´艸`). I wonder if they will start serving mountain vegetable dishes in spring (*´∇`*) I'm looking forward to going back again (*´ω`*)
