This restaurant, despite not having a strong online presence, is thriving thanks to the warm personalities of the husband and wife owners. I have been a regular customer since it opened in 1999. This year, I received a New Year's card from them, so I decided to visit the restaurant with the card in hand. When I arrived, I noticed that there were no cars parked in front of the store or in the second parking lot. I was worried that they might be closed, but I decided to park in the second parking lot and go inside. Luckily, the open sign was displayed, and there were already two other customers inside. I greeted the owners and ordered the Chicken Vegetable Curry Rice. When the curry soup arrived, I took a sip and exclaimed, "Wow, this is delicious!" The balance of broth and spices in the soup has remained consistently great since the restaurant opened. While I usually prefer spice-heavy curry, I appreciate the balanced flavor here that even spice enthusiasts would enjoy. Despite using chicken leg instead of thigh meat, I had no complaints, and the delicious vegetables added to the appeal of the dish. While some restaurants nowadays fry all their vegetables, I prefer the stewed vegetables here as they allow the natural flavors of the vegetables to shine through. At the end of the meal, the owner mentioned that a customer working at the Esconfield construction site had brought bolts and nuts to display in the restaurant. She also expressed excitement for the upcoming baseball season and the reopening of Esconfield. As I went to pay, I noticed a sign next to the cash register stating that the second parking lot was no longer available for parking due to the end of the contract. I had unknowingly parked there, so I felt a bit flustered.

I really like this restaurant. I barely made it for lunch and was able to park in the parking lot. Today, I ordered the vegetable vegetable dish again. I chose level 12 spiciness with extra onion pickles. The aroma in the restaurant is still so stimulating. It really whets my appetite. I had the Chakudon today. The tomato flavor was quite strong. Level 12 was really spicy, even though I usually handle it well. Maybe it was because I got the soup in a large portion. Towards the end, I couldn't tell if I was crying or sweating because of the spiciness, but the taste was still great. The onion pickles were a nice palate cleanser. I might go for level 10 next time. I will definitely come back again.

Mushroom and minced meat curry (1300 yen) with broccoli (90 yen). I have been a regular customer since the early days of my food journey. I used to always order the mixed vegetable curry, but lately I have been enjoying the mushroom and minced meat curry. I have settled on level 6 spiciness, which feels quite intense to me. Even so, by the end of the meal, I start to feel a bit sweaty on the back of my neck. The dish includes shimeji, wood ear, enoki, maitake, and shiitake mushrooms, creating a luxurious combination of textures, flavors, and spices. This dish is truly one of a kind. Next time, I might go back to basics and try the chicken curry. I also want to try the lamb meatballs, so maybe I'll go for the mixed vegetable curry next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I'm back! Chicken and vegetable dish, level 7. I adjusted the spiciness level based on my previous review and it turned out to be surprisingly spicy, with a tingling sensation. Maybe level 6 would have been just right. With the vegetable version, the amount of meat seems to be less, so maybe topping it with chicken would allow me to enjoy more meat. The vegetables were delicious and the chicken, which seemed to be thigh meat, was easy to eat. The spiciness made me want more rice. Next time, I'll try topping it with chicken.

I searched in the neighborhood and found this place with high ratings, so I decided to try it out. Although I also wanted to go to my favorite ramen place, Hanauta, the idea of herbal ramen seemed a bit selective, so I came here instead. There are a few parking spaces in front of the shop. There is a sign asking customers to park as close to the shop as possible to avoid blocking the road. The shop has about 3-4 table seats, so it seems like it could get crowded quickly. - Chicken Soup Curry 1140 yen It was very easy to eat since it didn't have bones in the meat. The flavor was quite strong and rich, with a clear outline. The curry was intense and very delicious! It was satisfying! It was unusual that it didn't have pumpkin, which is commonly found in most soup curries. The soft-boiled egg added was also delicious when mixed with the curry. It's strange that curry with egg isn't more popular, considering how popular ramen with flavored eggs are. The collaboration of soft-boiled egg and soup curry was amazing. It's impressive that all soup curries come with eggs in this era of egg shortage. - Minced Meat Curry 1200 yen This curry contained minced pork and corn. My companion hates removing chicken bones from chicken curry, so she usually avoids ordering chicken curry, but she found it great that this curry didn't have bones. The minced meat curry was also easy to eat and delicious. It was my first time trying soup curry without knowing anything about it, and it turned out to be very delicious. It was a great meal! It might be the first time I've had soup curry twice in one day...

"Curry Kibun" is a popular soup curry restaurant in the Kiyota area. I visited for lunch on a weekday. There are about 3 parking spaces in front of the restaurant. It was around 12:00 pm for lunch, and luckily we were able to enter smoothly. The interior of the restaurant is small with a counter and about 3 tables. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, thanks to the friendly and polite service by the owner. I ordered the "Chicken Soup Curry @1,140 yen", opting for the classic chicken. I chose level 6 spiciness and normal rice (around 200g). It took about 10 minutes for the dish to be ready. The soup was light and flavorful, with a good amount of spices. The chicken was tender and without any unpleasant smell. The ingredients included carrots, potatoes, shimeji mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, watercress, and egg, among others. The vegetables were not deep-fried, and the egg had a nice soft-boiled texture. The level 6 spiciness was just right, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal. For weekday lunches, orders over 1,000 yen get a 50 yen discount, which is a nice deal. Payment is cash only, and they offer a service card with no expiration date. Collecting 10 stamps on the card will give you a 300 yen discount on your next visit. I recommend this place to those who enjoy light and flavorful soup curry. It was a tasty meal, thank you!

Soup curry restaurant in Kiyota-ku, Sapporo. The nearest station is Nango 18-chome Station. They have a parking lot for 3 cars. It's a popular restaurant where many repeat customers order the spiciest option and end up in ecstasy. The friendly couple who run the restaurant are very popular. Arrived by car at 11:20, 10 minutes before opening on Sunday. Waited in the car due to the cold weather. Was the first in line after being called in. Ordered the Mixed Vegetable Soup Curry for 1550 yen. The mix includes chicken, pork (simulated braised pork), and lamb (lamb meatballs). Pickled onions are served on the side. The usual curry vegetables include carrots, potatoes, shimeji mushrooms, kikurage mushrooms, and mizuna. The vegetables in the mix are bamboo shoots, eggplant, edamame, okra, broccoli, and lotus root. The mix includes chicken, pork, and lamb (lamb meatballs). Ordered medium spiciness with extra rice (250g instead of the usual 200g). It has a comforting taste. The meat is tender. I think I like the pork the best. The vegetables are also delicious. The total bill was 1580 yen, cash only. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Curry Kibun, a soup curry restaurant located along Kiyota Street in February 2023. I ordered the Chicken Soup Curry with extra soup, spice level 12, and less rice. The thin soup had a strong acidity that was quite stimulating. The vegetables and chicken in the curry were very delicious. The soup curry had a unique and appealing taste, although it was slightly different from my preference.

Discovered this place on Tabelog and decided to give it a try! I felt like I've been here before, and then I remembered it was right across from the huge pet shop I visited earlier. The exterior is not very eye-catching, so it's easy to miss without Tabelog. It was a lucky find that it wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I was indecisive about the menu, but ended up choosing the lamb, which I've been into lately. I went with lamb and vegetable with a spice level of 6. The dish arrived shortly and after one bite, I thought it was delicious! The well-balanced soup with the umami of the broth and the spices was amazing. The vegetables were plentiful, and the edamame was a unique addition that worked well. The whole egg on top was perfectly soft-boiled. The lamb meatballs had a bit of a unique taste, while the chicken my companion ordered was juicy and delicious, so I might try that next time. Even at a spice level of 6, I started sweating gradually. Maybe I could handle a bit more spice? The warm hospitality of the owner's mother was comforting, and the cozy atmosphere made it a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the meal!

This is a place in Kita-no 6-jo 2-chome, along Kiyota Street in Kiyota Ward. Please check the exact location on the map on Tabelog as usual. On Sunday, after shoveling snow in the morning, my companion said they wanted to eat soup curry, so we visited this restaurant, which is their favorite. We arrived at the restaurant, parked the car in the front parking lot, and entered the restaurant. We were then guided to a table for three. We looked at the menu and ordered the top menu item, "Chicken Curry," with a spice level of 5, and requested less rice. We waited for the food to arrive. It appeared in about 15-16 minutes. The chicken curry at this restaurant is boneless, making it easy to eat. First, we tried the soup, which had a slightly sour taste and a light amount of spices. The spice level of 5 was just right for me, making it easy to eat. The ingredients included tender chicken cut into easy-to-eat pieces, two slices of potatoes, carrots, shimeji mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, mizuna, a soft-boiled egg, and sesame seeds sprinkled on top. We mixed the rice into the curry soup and finished the meal. We have been visiting this restaurant shortly after it opened, which has been about 23 years now. We will definitely visit again with my companion.

I passed by this restaurant and felt like having curry for lunch. The place serves my favorite clear consommé soup with a hint of Japanese influence, but the interior has a Hawaiian vibe. It's difficult to visit because they are closed for two days during the week, but I was able to go today. I ordered the pork curry with a spicy tomato topping. The perfect acidity of the dish made me realize that I was enjoying a good meal. I will definitely come back for more. Thank you for the meal.

Mushroom minced meat with cheese for 1300 yen, a regular favorite! I was in the mood for curry, so I visited the restaurant at night. Luckily, there was parking available, and I didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered the "mushroom minced meat" dish, which I have been hooked on since last time I tried it. It was incredibly delicious, with a rich flavor from the coarse ground pork mince and a variety of mushrooms like wood ear, shimeji, maitake, enoki, and eringi. The soup was unique and paired perfectly with the minced meat. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the texture of the mushrooms was amazing. The egg was slightly runny, making it perfect for dipping in the soup with rice. The spice level was just right, and the pickled onions with cumin added a refreshing touch. Overall, I left satisfied once again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I'm back again! As always, I was captivated by the aroma inside the restaurant. Today, I had a vegetable ramen with added wood ear mushrooms. The aroma of the soup was irresistible. The portion size was also generous. Plus, there were various great deals. Today, the tomato added a punch to the flavor. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On a regular day off, I visited this shop that had caught my eye for a while. I arrived right at 11:30, but there were already five customers ahead of me... Was the opening time different? I was a bit confused (^^;;) But well, I was able to park my car in front of the shop, so let's consider it a win. It seems like there are only two parking spots, so the competition is high for those who can only come by car due to the location. Now, onto the order. First of all, the inside of the shop had an amazing smell... Not the usual spice aroma, but a mouthwatering soup fragrance... I've never experienced something like this in other shops... This must be incredibly delicious. So, I splurged and got extra vegetables with chicken topping! I chose the maximum level of spiciness for free, level 12. And a small portion of rice. With many customers ahead of me, I thought I would have to wait, but the dish was served in less than 20 minutes! And the taste... It was amazing! What is this? It's a big hit for me. Is it an animal-based soup? A broth? The aroma and flavor that I sense behind the spices are irresistible... The soft-cooked rice goes perfectly with it! Oh no, it's a big hit after a long time. I will definitely come back for this. It's a bit far from my house, so it's not easy to visit, but I will aim to come once a month.

I had the chicken soup curry with extra spicy level. The soup was light and easy to drink, leaving me feeling refreshed and not heavy afterwards. The vegetables included eggs, carrots, potatoes, shimeji mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, mizuna, keeping it simple. The potatoes were particularly sweet and fluffy, very delicious. Personally, I'm not a fan of eggs in soup curry, but the creamy egg in this dish made me happy. Oh, and the pickled onions served on the side of the rice were really tasty, genius! Thank you for the meal!笑

I'm thinking about what to eat for lunch??? Maybe I'll go for soup curry today!! Haha I finally visited Curry Kimochi, a place I've been wanting to try. It seems like a place where locals would frequent. It's my first time here, so I decided to go with the chicken and add lotus root as a topping. The soup curry has a gentle flavor.

It has been around for over 20 years, making it an established restaurant in the soup curry scene. They offer a 100 yen discount during weekday lunch hours. The Chicken Vegetable curry is medium spicy level 2, while the Lamb Vegetable (with meatballs) curry is spicy level 6 (maximum spiciness is 12). The rice portion is normal, with bamboo shoots, lotus root, wood ear mushrooms, and edamame as unique vegetables. The vegetables are not oil-cooked, which is a good sign of a quality soup. The tomato-based soup has a mysterious and alluring aroma that sets it apart from other places. Some may not enjoy it, but it is a key characteristic of this place. The spices are not overpowering, but the umami is strong. Mixing in a half-boiled egg surprisingly enhances the flavor. The soup varies depending on whether you choose lamb or chicken, but both are enjoyable due to the strong spices and rich soup base. The saltiness is prominent, so it is recommended to have a larger portion of rice.

I arrived at the parking lot of Curry Kibun. I ordered the Chicken Vegetable Curry with spiciness level 10 and regular rice from the menu. The curry included chicken, egg, carrot, potato, shimeji mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, mizuna, bamboo shoots, eggplant, edamame, okra, broccoli, and lotus root. Not everything was deep-fried, which was a nice touch. It was very delicious. I will definitely visit again.

I couldn't make it for lunch, so I went at 5 pm. I had the braised pork and vegetable with level 4 spiciness soup in large size for 1430 yen. The soup was light and full of the natural flavors of the ingredients and vegetables. This is my second time here, but I've missed it twice before due to it being closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, which can be a downside for office workers. I will definitely come back again.

Mushroom minced meat for 1210 yen + cheese for 70 yen. I love this dish! I don't want to make any mistakes from the beginning of the new year. A must-try place that is definitely delicious. It's rare for the restaurant to be empty after 6 pm on a holiday. I also got a parking spot in front of the restaurant. I was curious about the "mushroom minced meat" that I had been interested in. I got it with cheese topping on the side. It was so delicious. The richness of the pork minced meat, combined with the umami of plenty of mushrooms, layered on top of a delicious soup. The basic vegetables plus three types of mushrooms: shimeji, maitake, enoki, wood ear fungus. Boost your immunity with the power of mushrooms. The spiciness is free and I chose the maximum level 12. The turmeric rice was cooked firm to match the soup. The pickled onions were so good that you can have seconds. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Sapporo is known for its fierce competition among curry restaurants, and this place is no exception. Located within walking distance from the Sapporo Municipal Subway, this casual eatery stands out with its bright yellow walls and orange door. You can customize your curry by choosing the base flavor, spiciness level, and toppings. The curry here is packed with vegetables and the soup is not just spicy but also rich and flavorful. It's no wonder this place is popular.
