Visited around 5:30 pm on a Friday in October 2017.
- Purpose: Used for dinner.
- Upon arrival: No customers, 2 groups when leaving.
- Checked the menu: Saw the manager's recommendation for Esper Pork.
- Order:
1. Esper Pork - Tomato soup, spiciness level 5, normal rice portion. Added shiitake topping with a coupon.
2. Esper Beef Warm - Tomato soup, spiciness level 3, normal rice portion. Ordered carrot topping with a coupon.
- Esper Pork: Thickly sliced pork belly seasoned with original blend of spices.
- Review:
- Esper Pork: The pork was well-seasoned with a nice balance of flavors. The soup was tasty with a good mix of tomato's sweetness and acidity, although the spiciness level 5 was a bit too hot for me. The pork had a tender texture with some chewy parts, which made it slightly difficult to eat. Overall, it was a delicious and flavorful dish.
- Vegetables: Carrots had a good texture and flavor, bell peppers were crunchy and tasty, eggplant was hot and had a good texture, small whole potatoes were deliciously soft, broccoli had a nice hint of smokiness, and lotus root had a satisfying crunch.
- Esper Beef Warm: Similar to the previous visit, so I will skip the details.
- Overall:
- Rating changed from 3.9 to 4.0 (as of October 2017).
- Highlights:
1. Diverse menu options.
2. Large and impactful main ingredients make the dishes visually appealing.
- Conclusion: The variety of main dishes and soups make each visit enjoyable. Previous experiences with chicken, bacon, and pork have all been flavorful and satisfying. I am curious about trying Esper White or the new Esper Zangi Curry next time.

Today I tried the monthly soup curry (pork shabu) challenge with spice level 9, with triple points. It was deliciously spicy and definitely the number one soup curry that I crave to eat once a month. The staff members were very friendly with great vibes. It's also a bonus that the restaurant is close to my house. 😊

It's been a long time since I visited Esperito✨ This restaurant has plenty of parking spaces, making it easy to access. I had the simmered chicken leg for 1360 yen and added level 20 spiciness to the tomato soup for 70 yen. Served with mixed grain rice, the flavors were consistent and delicious. It would have been better if the dishes were a bit hotter. Overall, the prices have gone up a bit, so I hope the cost performance improves. Even though it was past 2:30, they kindly offered a complimentary lunch drink. ⤴️

It's a little over a 10-minute walk from JR Kitano Station. I entered while the summer breeze was still blowing. The restaurant was almost full after 1 pm, so I waited for a table to clear and sat down. I chose the type of soup, ingredients, spiciness level, type and amount of rice, and a complimentary drink. I ordered the original soup, zero spiciness, crispy chicken (crispy skin, juicy meat), small portion of Nanatsu Hoshi white rice, and a complimentary iced coffee. In addition to the crispy chicken, the hearty soup curry with half a boiled egg, potatoes, carrots, and bell peppers was deliciously finished. It seems like you can enjoy various flavors.

I found a nearby curry restaurant on Tabelog and decided to go. They have counter seats, so it's great for dining alone. You can choose the level of spiciness for the soup, and as a first-timer, I was recommended level 4. There are many types of curry to choose from, so you can try different flavors each time you visit. I ordered the tender chicken curry at level 4, and it was easy for me to handle. It was a spiciness level that even someone who can't handle spice well like me could enjoy. Thank you for the meal. They even have a curry vending machine outside, which was amusing.

The Espa Chicken Vegetable with original soup level 3 spiciness, crispy chicken, and regular rice. Instead of pumpkin, lotus root was used. The dish is full of vegetables, the chicken skin is crispy, and the soup has a rich flavor. It's incredibly delicious.

First visit. Plenty of parking available, which is great. I ordered the Zangi Curry because I've been into fried chicken curry lately. I chose the rich shrimp soup with a spice level of 7. The soup was delicious! The meat and vegetables were also tasty, and I definitely want to try the original soup next time. I've decided to visit again!

I went to Sapporo with my colleagues for work after a long time. Although you can now find delicious soup curry even in my hometown, we decided to visit a popular local restaurant. The restaurant had a tricky name, "Esper Nikomi Leg," but the soup curry was like a model example. I ordered it with a mild spice level of 1, which turned out to be just right. The chicken was tender and adding okra as an option to thicken the curry was also a good choice.

I ordered the crispy chicken and it was indeed crispy! The portion size was satisfying and had a good value for the price. They have a stamp card where you get 500 yen off after collecting 5 stamps, which adds to the overall value. Personally, I enjoyed the taste of the chicken and the lassi, which was rich and cheese-like. The restaurant has parking, no rush to eat, and the staff provided good service. Overall, I had a great experience and would like to visit again!

#Esperito#Hachiken Esper's Seafood Rice Bowl (1630yen)Spiciness level: 5 (good level of spiciness)5 types of mixed grain riceEsper Original SoupThe original soup was refreshing. The seafood was decently portioned with shrimp, oysters, squid, scallops, and mussels. However, it was a bit dry and lacked a wow factor. There are about 11 parking spots in front and on the side of the restaurant. On a holiday before 12:30 pm, the restaurant was almost full, but we were seated quickly. The interior was too cold, which was uncomfortable!

The soup is quite spicy, even at spice level 1, with a strong kick of spices. The curry has a rich flavor and is very delicious. The vegetables include green peppers, eggs, carrots, eggplant, broccoli, cabbage, potatoes. The broccoli is fragrant and very tasty. The other ingredients are consistently delicious. The main fried pork is flavorful and very delicious. The crispy chicken is juicy and delicious.

Visited the restaurant with my company colleagues. Since they are from Tokyo, we decided to order soup curry. I wish I had chosen a tomato-based soup with acidity, but I ended up getting the vegetable lamb curry. It was enjoyable!

At first, I was in the mood for soba and drove around looking for a soba restaurant, but everywhere was crowded and I couldn't get in. In the midst of that, I decided to visit the Hachiken main store, which I had been curious about for a while. The interior of the store gave the impression of being full of families and couples. It was nice that I could get a free lassi by adding them as a friend on LINE. The soup curry was delicious, with not only chicken but also large vegetables.

It's been a while since I had lunch at Esper-san. I had the Esper-fried chicken with spiciness level 10. The lunch salad was light but delicious. I wish the spiciness was a bit stronger though (free refills). The five-grain rice was also good. I wanted to add broccoli toppings, but I decided to go with the lunch salad today.

I ordered the Esper Chicken Vegetable Barichiki Original Soup #10 with regular white rice (1,630 yen) plus 2 pieces of Zangi (240 yen). The total of 1,870 yen is honestly expensive and not tasty. The soup lacks richness and depth of flavor, and the fried vegetables lose their taste in an instant. Maybe it would be better with a different seasoning, but the original flavor that the restaurant is known for should not be this disappointing. The service was also mediocre, so I won't be visiting again.

I happened to be nearby and was looking for a soup curry restaurant. I found this place that is open late into the night. It seems popular to be able to choose the type of chicken, but since I wasn't very hungry, I opted for the healthy vegetable curry. You can choose between mixed grain rice and regular rice. When trying to choose the option with no additional charge, you can choose a regular portion for white rice, but for mixed grain rice, you can only choose a small portion. I love mixed grain rice, so I decided on a small portion of mixed grain rice. I also chose the spiciest level recommended by the restaurant. When the curry arrived and I took a sip of the soup, I was amazed...!! It was incredibly delicious. There was no meat in it, but each vegetable ingredient was tasty, perfectly cooked, and matched well with the soup. It felt like I was eating delicious curry after a long time. If you register on LINE, you will get a free lassi. The lassi was honestly just okay, but I highly recommend the soup curry because it is so delicious.

Located in the Yaken area of Nishi Ward, Sapporo City, this soup curry restaurant is quite popular. Although I had known about the existence of the restaurant for some time, I had not had the opportunity to visit until recently when I visited the neighboring eye clinic. I ordered the Paris Chicken Soup Curry, which came with crispy chicken and vegetables as toppings, priced at around 1300 yen. During lunchtime, complimentary drinks like oolong tea and cola are provided. I paid extra for a lassi, which was worth it. The most memorable part was definitely the delicious soup curry. It had a taste that I couldn't replicate at home, showcasing the high level of expertise at this specialty shop. The service was also excellent, and it was clear why this place is so popular. After trying the soup curry here, I felt so satisfied that I wanted to compare it with other restaurants.

【Published in early August 2022】This is the second time visiting the main store, which was selected as one of the top 100 curry restaurants in EAST by Tabelog Curry in 2020. I visited the Shiraito branch last month, so I'll keep it simple. From the Espa Chicken Vegetable (1630 yen) with Espa Original, Espa Tomato Soup, Espa Rich Shrimp Soup (+120 yen), Espa White Rice (+120 yen), and Espa Tomato Cream (+120 yen), I chose the Espa Original with Paris Chicken, Fried Leg, and Stewed Leg, and opted for the Fried Leg. I also chose spiciness level 10 (the spiciest for free) and had 200g of rice for free, along with a free Qoo Orange.
【Soup】The tomato soup I had at the Shiraito branch last month was the same as I remembered, a classic light flavor. Even at level 10 spiciness, I thought it was still manageable, but it might be too spicy for those who prefer medium spiciness. The soup portion was on the smaller side, with an option for a large portion (1.5 times) for an additional 200 yen. If you prefer curry with a richer broth, the original or tomato might not be to your liking like me. I'm curious about the paid soup toppings!
【Chicken】The seasoning might intentionally be on the lighter side, making it somewhat bland. The meat inside was tender with good flavor, and the skin was crispy, but I highly recommend the Paris Chicken.
【Vegetables】The broccoli was still delicious as always. The boiled egg and watercress helped balance out the spiciness and added to the visual appeal. Overall, the skillful deep-frying technique adds to the slightly higher price, but the menu with plenty of vegetables is recommended.
【Rice】I had white rice, which was decent. They offer options for a large portion (300g) for an additional 70 yen or a small portion (120g) for a discount of 20 yen. It seems they are also recruiting franchisees. That's all about Espa. ※This has no relation to the restaurant's name at all. The name comes from "Ethnic Spice Power." Thank you for the meal! 🌟

I was curious but it was my first visit. I thought it was Esper Ito's restaurant because of the name, but it's completely unrelated, haha. They have Balichiki and Fried Chicken, and when I asked about the difference, it's whether they have bones or not. This time I had the one with bones. The bones come off easily and the skin is crispy and delicious! I'm not a big fan of spicy food, so I went with the recommended level which was one level lower, and it was just right. Thank you for the meal.

Among the many soup curry restaurants, I chose this one this time because my mother-in-law and the children were with me. I didn't want to choose a curry place that was too bold, as there may not be anything for them to eat or the counter seating might be uncomfortable. We arrived around 12 pm on a Saturday and were informed that it would take 40 minutes to be served. After writing our name down and waiting, we were seated in about 10 minutes. I ordered the classic chicken leg with original soup, spiciness level 30 (with pickled chili peppers added, starting from 10 times spicier) and regular portion of white rice. You can choose from 5 types of soup, such as rich shrimp soup. Then came the long wait... After about 40 minutes, the kids' curry arrived! I tried it and even though it wasn't spicy, it was full of spices and tasted authentic and delicious! The kids seemed to enjoy it as well, which was a relief. My curry arrived, with a light but flavorful soup. The spiciness was refreshing and the crispy on the outside, tender on the inside chicken leg was exquisite! The vegetables from Hokkaido were all delicious and I was very satisfied. This restaurant is suitable for everyone, regardless of age or gender, to enjoy soup curry. Choosing this place was the right decision! I highly recommend it to everyone!
