Sometimes, I really crave for Kichirin's salt ramen. On this day, I was in the mood for salt ramen again, so I drove from Otaru to Kichirin. The parking lot had space for about 10 cars next to the restaurant. I entered the restaurant. There were counter seats, 3 two-person table seats, and private rooms. I sat at a two-person table. I looked at the menu on the wall. The set menu that used to be 1,000 yen for fried rice and ramen is now 1,300 yen. The price increase is understandable, but 1,300 yen for a ramen set at a ramen shop... The serving was fast, as usual. The soup had a strong saltiness followed by the smoothness of chicken broth. The taste was just right, the king of salt ramen. The noodles matched perfectly with the soup, and Kichirin's ramen is always reliable and delicious. The chashu, green onions, and bamboo shoots were all on point. The toppings were like a model of perfection. In an era where there are many innovative ramen shops, Kichirin sticks to its orthodox style and continues to make delicious ramen loved by everyone. I also ordered fried rice. At 1,300 yen for ramen and fried rice... it's honestly a bit pricey, but the fried rice is a must with Kichirin's salt ramen. The lightly oily and fluffy fried rice pairs excellently with the salt ramen. It might not be the healthiest choice in terms of salt intake, so I drank lots of water while finishing it. The combination is truly irresistible. As for my companion's clam ramen, it was +100 yen, and it was topped with clams and seaweed in the salt ramen. The soup was initially the same as the salt ramen, but later on, the seaweed added a salty flavor and the clams brought a slight essence, making it a bit salty. My companion also thought of ordering a regular menu next time. It seems that sticking to the classic options is the best. It was a consistent and delicious experience at Kichirin as always. Thank you for always serving delicious ramen. I will visit again.

Although the shop is known for its popular salt ramen, I tried the miso ramen (900 yen). The soup was light yet full of flavor, and indeed, this gentle soup might become addictive. The medium-thin egg noodles, flavorful chashu pork, crunchy menma, green onions, fried tofu, and naruto were simple yet delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was bright and welcoming, making it a peaceful place to enjoy comforting ramen. It may be a bit on the pricey side, but overall, it was a tasty experience.

Is it too much to say that? No, probably not. I think Kichirin's fried rice set is truly one of a kind. During the Obon period, we arrived just before 12 o'clock. The parking lot was about one-third full. We were seated promptly upon entering the restaurant. The counter seats were packed. Within a few minutes, it was completely full. More and more customers kept coming in, and they were being given a waiting alarm. While at other restaurants, I usually decide what to eat based on my mood that day after looking at the menu, at Kichirin, I immediately ordered the "fried rice set with salt" upon being seated. Usually, when I go to a ramen restaurant, I tend to eat just the ramen itself (to prevent overeating), but at Kichirin, it has to be the fried rice set. It's not allowed to just have the ramen or just the fried rice. It has to be the fried rice set. As it was written on a sign, they aim for a ramen that you won't get tired of eating, rather than just a delicious ramen. Well, it's delicious. It's really delicious, but it's a ramen that you never get tired of eating and that you sometimes crave. I can only say that because my taste buds aren't very sharp - it's delicious, spicy, hot, and makes me not want to eat it anymore, my stomach hurts, that's the only kind of feedback I can give. Kichirin's fried rice set is a taste that makes you want to go back for more every time. Used in August 2023.

Fried rice set (salt) Salt ramen... The noodles were just the right firmness, and the soup tasted good at first, but as I continued eating, I found it a bit too salty. I couldn't finish the soup. The fried rice was light and fluffy. If you order just the ramen, it might not be enough, so getting the set with less ramen is better. (You can probably order half a portion of ramen) *Cash only. I'll try the curry set next time.

I ordered the salt ramen & fried rice set at Kichirin's main store after a long time. It was a limited-time clam salt ramen, but I thought this combination was definitely a good choice. It's located at the edge of Sapporo, so I don't visit often, but it might be worth a try as one of the recommended ramen shops.

I wanted to eat ramen, but not miso or shoyu, I was craving for salt ramen. While there are many places that offer just salt ramen, finding one with a clear and delicious taste is not easy. Although Susukino area is nice, thinking about parking can be a hassle. After considering various options, I decided to go to the Kichirin Honpo main store in Hoshiochi. There is a spacious parking lot in front of the store, making it easy to park. The interior of the store is clean, spacious, and comfortable. I ordered the salt ramen with fried rice set for ¥1300. Most of the people around me were ordering either the salt ramen with fried rice set or just the salt ramen. With such popularity, I had high expectations. To my surprise, the piping hot salt ramen and fried rice arrived in less than 5 minutes after ordering. The surface of the clear golden soup had a thin film of lard shining on it, keeping it hot until the last bite. The soup had a refreshing taste with the expected chicken umami, best enjoyed with salt. The medium-thick noodles were slightly firm and coated well with the soup, making it enjoyable to chew. The thick slices of chashu had little fat and a meaty texture, and the flavor and firmness of the menma were also good. The fu, when soaked in plenty of soup, was quite delicious. The fried rice in the set complemented the salt ramen perfectly! They must have adjusted the saltiness for eating the ramen and fried rice together. Eating the ramen and fried rice alternately doubled the deliciousness and made me feel happy. It's no wonder why the salt ramen with fried rice set is so popular. I'm glad I came. Thank you for the meal.

Miso Ramen for 900 yen. Today's lunch was at Ramen Kirin main store. I finished work early so I decided to stop by the Ramen Kirin main store since it was nearby. I had been there once before but I didn't really like the taste, so I was hesitant to go again. But I decided to give it another try for a second chance. I ordered the Miso Ramen. It was served in about 5 minutes. It was a bit too oily for my liking. It reminded me of my previous experience. Overall, it was just okay.

It seems to be the most popular choice. I ordered it without fail, but the ramen was average. It had thin noodles with a light soup. When I mentioned that I like green onions, they put plenty in for me (^ν^). The fried rice was very light and had quite a low amount of oil, making it delicious♪ Thank you for the meal (о´∀`о)

I ordered the salt ramen with extra chashu for 1300 yen around 2:00 pm on a weekday. There were 3 groups of customers before me and no customers after me. I had been craving ramen lately and decided to visit this place with high ratings. I felt like treating myself, so I chose the recommended salt ramen with chashu. However, I found that the extra chashu was unnecessary and it overpowered the broth. I was hoping for a stronger chicken broth flavor, but it was not as intense as I expected. It was a disappointing experience. I think I made the wrong choice this time. I will come back for a rematch.

I visited for lunch. It's been about a year since I last came here. The salt ramen is delicious, so I keep coming back (^ ^) This time, I ordered the "Char Siu Don Set Salt". The ramen is delicious ♫ The soup is tasty (^ ^) The Char Siu Don is also delicious, but personally, I might prefer the fried rice (・_・;) I would like to come back to eat again. Thank you for the meal٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

"I ended up choosing a safe ramen place called 'Kichirin.' I was in Teine for work and was invited for lunch. I was worried because I couldn't say 'I only go to ramen places.' So, I was nervous until we arrived at the restaurant. I had already given up. I couldn't care less at that point. 'Kichirin,' you know. Why? 'Oh, you like ramen, right?' 'How did you know?' 'You always talk about ramen, don't you?' Oh, is that so? I should have talked about it more. I didn't even know 'Kichirin' had taken me there. He's quite capable. We finally got a seat at 1 pm. It's crowded. As expected. The 'Shio Ramen' costs 850 yen. It's expensive, but I'm not paying, so no worries. I won't add any toppings just because it's a popular place. It's expensive. The noodles are thin and slightly curly, nothing special, but they're delicious. The scallions are the worst. I don't like them. Didn't you know that? I always say that. The naruto is delicious. The seasoned bamboo shoots have a hint of alcohol, but they're tasty. The fu is cheap, but the soup is delicious. I'm not a fan of the chashu, but I can eat it. The soup is the star, after all. It's light yet full of umami and richness. I can't help but drink the soup. It has a hint of lard, too. It was really delicious."

It was delicious! It seems to be a ramen shop that my mother and grandmother like. The taste is light, but it has a satisfying ramen flavor! I was full. The fried rice and pork bowl were also delicious, so if you have room in your stomach, I think it's a good idea to get a set. Among miso, salt, and soy sauce, I liked the salt flavor. If you're not sure, I think salt is a good choice. The cost performance is not that great. There is a Benbeya nearby, so I think it's nice to have ice cream there on the way back! Thank you for the meal!

Spicy miso fried rice set for 1200 yen. The spicy miso ramen is a bit spicy but has a slightly sweet taste, maybe lacking a bit of punch. The fried rice is on the lighter side. Next time, I recommend trying the salt ramen! Enjoy!

On a day off for lunch, I chose ramen after finishing some errands in the Ishikari area. It was my first visit to this restaurant, which was the closest to me. I received a buzzer and was asked to wait in my car. After about 5 minutes, I was guided to a raised seating area inside the restaurant. The popular option seemed to be the fried rice set with salt ramen for 1,100 yen, but since I had already tried salt ramen at another place, I ordered the miso ramen with the fried rice set, as well as a single serving of spicy miso ramen. The miso ramen was light and slightly lacking in flavor, while the spicy miso ramen was more satisfying and had a good kick to it. The fried rice was a classic and delicious. Overall, everything was decent, but the fried rice was consistently good, showcasing the reliability of this Chinese restaurant. It's a good choice for casual dining or family outings. It seems like prices may go up towards the end of April.

I'm a bit of a coward and can't really take risks (;_;) Personally, the salt ramen and fried rice are absolutely delicious!! Both are really tasty ♫ I want to come back to eat again. Thank you for the meal٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

During a New Year's greeting tour, while driving from Sapporo Chuo-ku towards Ishikari, I was wondering if there was a delicious ramen shop. I had always wanted to visit it. The salt ramen and fried rice were delicious, and it was great that they had a parking lot. When I arrived, the place was already full, so I had to wait in my car using a buzzer. It seemed like a friendly family-run establishment. When I finally got seated after 10 minutes, they kindly explained their recommendations, so I ended up ordering the fried rice set with salt ramen. The food arrived quickly and the fried rice was amazing. It had a nice balance of flavors even though it wasn't the burnt style. And it was quite filling. The salt ramen was light and flavorful, as expected from a chicken broth specialty. It was a hearty meal, so I left feeling full. On my way out, they bowed and said, "Please come again," making me want to visit this ramen shop again soon.

Today I came to the driving license test center and decided to have ramen at Kichirin for the first time in a while. While the salt and soy sauce ramen are popular choices, I decided to try the miso ramen this time. The restaurant is still clean and the service is friendly as always. The miso ramen was light in flavor, but I found it a bit lacking. I should have gone with salt or soy sauce after all. The miso ramen does not come with vegetables. The noodles are Kanajin, slightly different from Sapporo noodles as they feel a bit less hydrated. These noodles go well with the light soup. Set menus with fried rice are popular here.

Delicious salt ramen! I usually love miso ramen, but since it was recommended, I chose the salt ramen. The service was incredibly fast and the seating area was spacious with a large parking lot. It was crowded with families and solo diners during lunchtime. The ramen had simple toppings and a very light salt flavor that I really enjoyed. The soup was so good that I wanted to drink it all, but I restrained myself to avoid gaining weight (laughs).

It seems like it has been about 7 years since my last visit here. I came here about 30 years ago with my father, but after a change in ownership, I felt like it was different and drifted away. However, looking at past reviews, I noted that the taste had improved. So, I decided to revisit after a long time. The salt ramen is famous here, but I decided to try the soy sauce ramen, while my partner had the spicy miso ramen. The soy sauce ramen had an old-fashioned flavor and was rich, just how I like it. The spicy miso ramen had the perfect level of spiciness and paired well with the miso, with the pork fat adding a nice touch. When I am near here again, I will definitely come back. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I have visited Ishikari Hanakawa store several times before, but this time I visited Kichirin Honten for the first time. I entered the store and sat at the counter, and without hesitation, I ordered the salt ramen. In a few minutes, the ordered salt ramen arrived, and I was very happy with the speedy service. The clear soup made with aromatic vegetables, chicken broth, and seafood, combined with curly noodles, resulted in a refreshing and consistently delicious taste. The bamboo shoots, green onions, wheat gluten, and char siu complemented the simple flavor. The salt ramen was delicious and satisfying, and I look forward to trying the fried rice set next time.
