I was impressed by the variety of wines available by the glass! I regret ordering too much and not being able to finish everything. When ordering a la carte, it's best to share one dish between 2 or 3 people. This is the perfect place for a date. I want to come back for a date next time to try the dishes I missed out on today. Thank you for the meal.

On the last night in Sapporo, my mother and I enjoyed a relaxing Italian dinner at a hidden gem called Faifai on the terrace. This summer in Sapporo is as hot as Nagoya, and it doesn't cool down even at night. We left the wine selection to the sommelier and ordered the following dishes: - Caprese with fruit tomatoes and mozzarella - Fried mist of squid and young corn - Tagliolini with Hanasaki crab and fennel - Gnocchi with Hokkaido cheese sauce - Charcoal-grilled Ikeda beef Taliata The sommelier's choice of wine paired perfectly with the light Caprese and the delicious fried squid and corn mist. The pasta with fresh Hanasaki crab was delightful, and the charcoal-grilled Ikeda beef was cooked to perfection. Faifai is located in the Susukino area but hidden in a back alley, attracting many celebrities who visit incognito. It was a wonderful evening spent with my mother at Faifai, and we left feeling very satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After enjoying a delightful meal at a nearby Italian restaurant, I decided to visit my favorite hidden gem wine bar. I started off with some sparkling wine, and then ordered a chef's selection of wines. The meal included: - White peach carpaccio-style with Gorgonzola cheese topping - Saltwater sea urchin cold fedelini - Black truffle risotto - White peach baba The sommelier chose the wines for me, and they paired perfectly with the dishes. The white peach carpaccio was made with peaches from Yoichi, known for its extreme temperature differences, and the balance of sweetness with the saltiness of the Gorgonzola cheese was exquisite. The saltwater sea urchin fedelini was rich and the fresh tomato sauce was delightful. The black truffle risotto was aromatic and rich, truly delicious. The white peach baba was sweet, rich, and a heavenly treat. I ended the meal with a glass of grappa, feeling completely satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

It was my second visit and I had a happy time again. This time I had the chef's choice course (around 7,700 yen). The food and Italian wine were delicious as always, it was amazing! Corn cold soup, flounder carpaccio, zucchini flower fritters, tomato sauce pasta, flat bean risotto, dessert, red and white wine. The most delicious dish this time was the zucchini flower. Thank you for the meal! ♡

It's been a while since I last visited this place! I used to come here often, but I haven't been able to go recently. This restaurant in Sapporo is known as a hidden gem, with its cool transformation of an old building into a stylish restaurant. Recently, they have made the second floor a members-only area to differentiate themselves. I haven't been eating much Italian or French cuisine in the past few years, but it's still delicious! The simple yet slightly unique ingredients and delicate preparation are truly wonderful. I will definitely visit again!

The other day, my husband took me out to a French dinner to treat me because he spent quite a bit of money on his birthday. It was a restaurant he had been to for business meetings before, but my first time. The atmosphere was really nice and the interior was lovely. We sat at a table in the back. We had carpaccio, cold beef soup, cold pasta with sea urchin, and rabbit sausage with chocolate cake. Most of the dishes were served cold, which was a surprise to me. The cold beef soup had a natural sweetness and was delicious, while the carpaccio was simple yet tasty with thick slices of meat. I loved the richness of the meat. The cold pasta with sea urchin was perfect for this time of year, with the coldness of the sea urchin and the sweetness of the sauce. The rabbit sausage was unexpected but really delicious. We ended the meal with dessert and coffee, feeling very full and satisfied. The food was delicious and the ambiance was great. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

It's a nostalgic restaurant. I first visited about 15 years ago. It seems to have become a popular Italian restaurant now, but it's more like a hidden wine bar with a mix of Italian, a bit of French, and a touch of Japanese cuisine. The prices are a bit high, depending on the wine you drink. It's located in a back alley that doesn't feel like downtown Sapporo, next to a yakiniku restaurant. The appearance is the same as 15 years ago, and the inside of the restaurant hasn't changed either. I think the taste is still the same.

Amidst the turmoil of the pandemic, the restaurant had temporary closures and offered takeout options. However, after three years, I finally enjoyed a meal inside the restaurant. The interior has been significantly renovated, with a large wine cellar and a deli corner offering homemade delicacies. There is also a special members-only space on the second floor now. This time, I indulged in my favorite dishes paired with sommelier-recommended wines for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The meal included: Colorful vegetable bagna cauda, Carpaccio-style pear with Taleggio cheese, Tagliatelle with ragu sauce in the style of Macelleria, Roasted bone-in rabbit with herb flavor, Hazelnut gelato, Sommelier-recommended wines (7 glasses), Grappa after the meal, and Espresso. The bagna cauda made with Hokkaido vegetables was excellent, and the Carpaccio-style pear was a perfect harmony of juicy, sweet pear and rich cheese. The Tagliatelle with ragu sauce was delicious, especially with the addition of winter truffles for a luxurious touch. The roasted bone-in rabbit had a rich flavor that was superb. After the meal, I couldn't resist having two glasses of grappa, and the espresso made from the finest Italian espresso machine was exceptional. It was a truly satisfying and blissful experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The peach carpaccio is too beautiful. I devoured it and then moved on to the wine. The cheese flavor is truly luxurious. The Campania is meaty and irresistible for Campania lovers. The Bolognese, which I don't usually eat, was surprisingly delicious. The red wine just keeps flowing. I was impressed by the al dente pasta and the meaty flavor of the meat. The tiramisu is so adult-like! I would come back just to eat this. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it. This is definitely a specialty. The pudding, which I don't usually eat, was also impressive! I want to take it out! It's no wonder everyone becomes addicted to this restaurant. Thank you for the meal ★

Hidden gem Italian restaurant in Sapporo!! They have a wide variety of wines, but there is no menu so you have to tell them your preferences!! All the wines are from Italy!! It's a bit scary not knowing the prices!! It's hard for amateurs to judge whether it's expensive or if it's just good wine!! The food is delicious in a normal way, and surprisingly, the roasted rabbit was the best!

The chilled corn potage was incredibly rich and had a perfect smoothness. It's a dish that really captures the season. The white peach carpaccio with Gorgonzola accents was beautifully presented. The combination is amazing! The risotto had a slightly firm texture, which I really enjoyed. A must-try dish! The Angus beef tagliata was meaty and delicious. The sliced meat was easy to eat. The atmosphere was also very nice, and time flew by quickly. It was a truly delicious meal. Thank you very much!

An Italian and wine bar reminiscent of "Oku no Hosomichi" - Hanibantam (solid corn kernels) serves a chilled corn soup with a coarse texture that retains some graininess and is not overly sweet. The corn has a slight roughness to it, with a natural sweetness. Their natural sea bream carpaccio with kaffir lime has a delicious flavor, with no sharp edges, enhanced by good salt and oil. The kaffir lime is not overpowering. Their oven-baked eggplant with scamorza cheese is juicy and rich, going beyond the usual vegetable dish with the sweet flavor of the cheese and the umami of the eggplant. The saltwater sea urchin cold Fedeine pasta is refreshing, with the tomato sauce outshining the sea urchin in taste. The diced herb-roasted rabbit meat is tender and mild, similar to chicken wings, with delicious meat around the bones that is even better than chicken. The herbs and acidity in the dish add a nice touch. The wine selection is great, and the atmosphere in the bar is relaxed, perfect for enjoying a meal and conversation.

After enjoying yakiniku at my favorite Gurman's, I took a little break at the coffee specialty shop Marei before having a great time on my last night in Sapporo at the hidden gem Faide. The saltwater sea urchin fedeini with fresh tomato sauce was delicious, and the black truffle gnocchi was aromatic and rich. The hazelnut gelato and Hokkaido plum jelly with red perilla granita were also delightful. The Italian wines were fantastic, and I had a great time relaxing on the cool terrace. The grappa and dessert were also top-notch. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

After drinking at the Highball Izakaya in Sapporo, I wanted to have wine and found a hidden gem wine bar. They have strict COVID-19 prevention measures in place, and currently only offer terrace seating. The slightly chilly night breeze in Sapporo was very pleasant, creating a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered my usual Franciacorta. I also tried the white peach carpaccio-style with Gorgonzola cheese, a popular dish. The peaches from Yoichi, with their intense sweetness, paired perfectly with the saltiness of the Gorgonzola cheese. It was delicious! I also enjoyed some delicious Italian wines and had a wonderful, laid-back time. This is definitely not the time for a 120-minute all-you-can-drink Highball session (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

Hello, this is Mitomi Emon! Instagram "@mitomi_emon" blog "http://ameblo.jp/nobuhiromitomi" I visited the hidden gem restaurant "Phi" located at the end of a narrow alley. The symbol represents magnetism, and many people are drawn to its charm. The restaurant is decorated with art pieces throughout, creating a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere. While they serve Italian cuisine, they also have a strong presence as a wine bar. They offer a wide selection of wines, especially Italian wines, making their wine list truly impressive. The impression I got from their cuisine is that they focus on organic ingredients, allowing you to savor the blessings of Hokkaido's rich land. The dishes feature a strong presence of vegetables, in addition to meat and fish. The "cold corn soup" served at the beginning of the course is exceptionally sweet and delicious. The presence of ingredients like olive oil enhances the flavors. The "zucchini" served with "ayu" is also outstanding. The technique of frying without losing moisture is impressive, bringing out the charm of the vegetables. One of their specialties is the "bagna cauda," a symbol of Phi's advocacy for organics and emphasis on vegetables. Not only vegetables but also fruits have a strong presence. They elevate fruits into dishes, such as mango with eggplant and caviar, or peach with gorgonzola cheese. The compatibility with white wine is unquestionable. The quality of desserts is also high, with fruits enjoyed throughout the course. The star ingredients like vegetables and fruits shine brightly. The sea urchin pasta is excellent! The chilled sea urchin pasta is expected, but the refreshing acidity of the tomato adds another level of coolness. The pink-colored visual appeal is also charming. By the way, you can only enjoy the Otaru sea urchin in the summer. You must try it. The risotto with cheese and truffles has a milky flavor unique to Hokkaido, offering a different twist on risotto. They offer courses, but it seems many regulars come for a second visit. Having one pasta dish and a glass of wine a la carte sounds perfect! It seems that Mitomi Emon was also naturally drawn to the magnetism of Phi. Thank you for the meal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Sapporo. The food is delicious, but the vegetables are especially tasty. They offer courses, but I prefer to order a la carte and enjoy a variety of dishes while sipping on wine. The wine selection is extensive, with different recommendations for each grape variety even for wines by the glass. I once saw their wine list, but it was so long that I gave up halfway through! All the wines are from Italy. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Overall, I am very satisfied with this restaurant.

After several years, I visited this restaurant again. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but for some reason that adds to the charm. Perfect for a date. It was just me and my friend, both middle-aged men, but we had a great time. They have a wide selection of wines, and I think even those with discerning tastes will be satisfied. The flavors are spot on. Delicious! The duck meat might have been the best I've ever had in my life. In terms of cost performance, it's decent. I didn't realize I had spent 3 hours there, it was such a comfortable and enjoyable time. When you consider the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere, this restaurant really excels. I even ran into an acquaintance. Sapporo is a small city, so it's not surprising to see familiar faces at places like this. It would be perfect if they had private rooms.

On the last night in Sapporo, I went to my favorite Italian restaurant. I sat at the counter and started with my usual glass of bubbly before ordering the wine. I had pear carpaccio with Taleggio cheese, followed by black truffle risotto. I enjoyed delicious Italian wines such as Franciacorta Cuvee Prestige, Venezia Giulia Bianco, Pane e Vino, Brunello di Montalcino, and Grappa. The pear carpaccio was a perfect appetizer to go with the wine, and the black truffle risotto was incredibly flavorful and aromatic. It was a fantastic meal. Thank you.

After enjoying Croceo and Tebaya, the third stop was a bit heavy on the stomach, so we decided to relax at Bar Maduro before heading to Faí for some pasta to finish off the night. We started with the chef's choice of white wine. We ordered the White Truffle Tagliolini (starting from 4,950 yen) paired with Daniele Piccinin Montemagro dei Muni and Casavecchia Barolo. The rich and fragrant white truffle in the creamy sauce of the tagliolini was incredibly delicious with a strong and elegant flavor. We usually end our nights in Susukino with ramen, but it's nice to indulge a bit around the end of the year. Thank you for the feast.

At the end of the year, when returning from Nagoya to Sapporo, I first stopped by the full house at Fai... Finally, a seat opened up at 10:30 pm. I immediately ordered some sparkling wine. - Black Truffle Gnocchi - Franciacorta Cuvee Prestige - Barolo Castiglione - Meigamma Bianco Secondo - Dosaggio Zero Kappa Kappa Kante - Cosimo Taurino Settimo Cheppo I enjoyed a delicious selection of wines while savoring the rich and aromatic black truffle gnocchi. It was a wonderful and relaxing time. I will definitely visit again during my stay in Sapporo. Thank you for the meal.
