I visited after 3 years! I wondered if the chef was still here. I didn't request the chef's name when making a reservation, but he was serving at the next table. He noticed us and remembered us, which made me happy. The chef who served us was friendly, and the food was delicious as always. I couldn't resist ordering a dessert plate again. I plan to come back again next year.

Teppanyaki lunch at the 22nd floor of Keio Plaza Hotel ^_^ It's about a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station, with easy access and a relaxed atmosphere, making it suitable for any occasion. We used it for a girls' gathering, but it seems great for dates or business meals too. The counter seats by the teppan offer a fantastic view of the northern side of Sapporo, with Hokkaido University visible below. The course we had included the following: [Salad] Chef's recommended Salad Gourmand [Grilled Vegetables] Today's grilled vegetables [Meat] 120g of Hokkaido Saroma Black Beef loin [Meal] Garlic rice or seasonal mixed grain rice, red miso soup, pickles [Dessert] Today's dessert, coffee or tea. The appetizer salad and grilled vegetables were delicious, and the main meat did not disappoint! The tender meat was flavorful, especially with the optional Tokachi additive-free soy sauce, ponzu, and Kumaishi seaweed salt, along with garlic chips and wasabi. Every way of eating was delicious! The 120g portion was satisfying, and the garlic rice and mixed grain rice were both enjoyable. The dessert was also tasty, making the 9,500 yen price very cost-effective. I would love to try the Shiretoko beef course next time. I will definitely visit again soon! Thank you for the wonderful meal! ^_^

We used the anniversary plan for celebrating a family member's birthday. It included champagne in glasses, a flaming dessert, and a whole cake, making for a lovely birthday celebration. They first baked the garlic chips to a crispy perfection while serving a platter of appetizers, allowing us to enjoy the cold appetizers while watching the garlic chips and grilled vegetables being cooked. The steaks were grilled to each person's preferred doneness and expertly sliced and plated. The taste and presentation were both excellent. The garlic rice, red miso soup, and pickles were also delicious. The flaming dessert, a strawberry flambé, was very special and made the day memorable.

I visited this hotel on a special day. I had visited JR Tower last fall, but it didn't quite meet my expectations, so I decided to visit this hotel with a better atmosphere on the first floor. The teppanyaki seats offer a stunning view of Sapporo Station North Exit facing Hokkaido University. It really made me feel like "I'm in Sapporo!" When I asked for a different course from my friend, they kindly offered to share all the dishes that we could share. The sommelier recommended a wine that was excellent and perfect for our current preference for domestic wines. We had a very enjoyable time, so I made a reservation for the next special day, even though it's a bit far in advance.

We used this restaurant for a slightly early Christmas and wedding anniversary celebration. We ordered three Aussie beef courses and changed one steak to sirloin. The meal started with a red snapper carpaccio. The appetizer platter included kasube and daikon terrine, homemade ham and lily root quiche, and seared turban shell salad. For the main course, we shared two Australian beef fillets and one Chishima Wagyu sirloin among three people. They made garlic rice right in front of us. The meal ended with red miso soup, pickles, panna cotta with raspberry sauce, chocolate ice cream, seasonal fruits (persimmon and pear), and a dessert plate with a special message. Thank you so much. My wife and daughter were also very pleased.

This is a teppanyaki restaurant located in a hotel within walking distance from Sapporo Station. The restaurant doesn't have any particular standout features, it's more on the generic side. However, it's a safe choice and you won't be disappointed. The chef recommended topping the garlic rice with the crispy fat, but unfortunately, the plate with the fat was cleared away before the garlic rice was ready, showing a lack of coordination.

I stayed at Keio Plaza Hotel using a local discount and dined at the restaurant to try Yamana-san's Kobe beef. Upgrading to Kobe beef (Sirloin 100g) from the regular Shiretoko beef (Filet 80g) cost an additional 8,000 yen. I compared the two meats and found that the Filet Shiretoko beef was more delicious, even though it was cheaper. It seemed to be more of a preference for Filet vs Sirloin rather than the difference between Kobe beef and Shiretoko beef. I reluctantly accepted that the price difference was due to the name value. In the end, the Kobe beef was tasty but not worth the cost, as trying it once was enough. Personally, I am satisfied with more affordable Japanese beef Filet. The other dishes were delicious, but the garlic rice didn't suit my taste. Overall, I think it was a good restaurant to visit.

I went to have dinner with a friend. The restaurant was on the 22nd floor of Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo, and the view from the window was very beautiful. We had made a reservation for the table in advance, and we decided on the menu on the day of the visit. Second day of business trip in Sapporo. Had a lunch meeting again this day. Made a phone reservation in the morning and visited Teppanyaki Yamami for the first time. Located at North 5 West 7, just a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station on the 22nd floor of Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo. Reserved for the opening time at 11:30 and arrived a bit early at 11:15. The restaurant was not open yet, so I waited on the sofa on the same floor. The restaurant opened at 11:20, and I was seated at the counter seat by the window to enjoy the magnificent view of Sapporo. The weather was nice that day, adding to the excitement. My lunch partner arrived a bit late, and we toasted with black oolong tea to start the meal. We ordered the Shikotsu - Seafood 2 kinds and Saroma Black Beef course for 6,800 yen each. Here is what we had in the course: - Appetizer: Hokkaido pumpkin coulis with cheese and rosemary crumble - Starter: Homemade marinated Ginsei salmon, smoked duck from Takikawa, and carrot mousse from Tokachi - Today's seafood 2 kinds: Sole and surf clam sauté - Grilled vegetables: Moroccan beans, pecorino, salad turnip, and Inca no Mezame - Saroma Black Beef Sirloin 100g - Garlic rice or Hokkaido cod and shiso mixed grain rice with Hokkaido tarako - Red miso soup with pickles - Today's dessert - Coffee or tea We also had 3 cups of black oolong tea for 680 yen each, totaling 15,640 yen for 2 people. Lunch courses start from 3,700 yen on weekdays and 4,800 yen on other days, including dessert and post-meal drinks, making it a high-value option for a leisurely 2-hour meal. On our wedding anniversary, my husband took me out and surprised me with a visit to this restaurant (*^o^*). As usual, he didn't tell me where we were going, and I had three chances to guess but all were wrong. When we arrived, it was at Keio Plaza and we were seated at a counter with a view. Teppanyaki! I was so happy as I have been enjoying teppanyaki recently. This time, we had the "Teine" course. We started with a toast with champagne. ★First course - Carrot mousse with sea urchin. I love vegetables, and this mousse was rich and flavorful with a refreshing dashi jelly. It was delicious! ★Appetizer - Marinated yellowtail and duck confit. The yellowtail was marinated perfectly and the duck confit was juicy with a delicate balsamic sauce. The clam and lily root cream had a nice crunchy texture and a sweet flavor. ★Hokkaido scallop and local fish. The Hokkaido scallop had a wonderful aroma, and the sauce with seafood umami was delicious. ★Hokkaido Wagyu fillet or sirloin. I chose the fillet rare, and my husband had the sirloin medium. The fillet was tender and not too fatty, and the garlic chips were crispy and flavorful. The sirloin was a bit too fatty for my liking. ★Garlic rice - It was more crispy than I expected, with a subtle garlic flavor that was light and tasty. ★Crab fried rice - My husband preferred this over the garlic rice. Having dinner at Keio Plaza. The appetizer was prosciutto and melon. They cut the prosciutto right in front of you, it's so sweet and goes perfectly with the melon. The main dish was steak from Saitama black beef. They started with sautéed Hokkaido vegetables and then served the steak rare. It was delicious, with the crispy outer layer and tender meat. I loved it with garlic chips, salt, and black pepper. The steak went well with the Hokkaido wasabi too. The rice was mixed grain rice with Pacific saury, crispy and flavorful. For dessert, a variety of options on one plate with hot coffee. From start to finish, everything was satisfying. Great service too. Definitely a place I want to visit again.

Recently, I discovered that a teppanyaki restaurant had opened on the top floor, where a Japanese restaurant used to be. So, I visited for lunch for the first time. That was a joke haha. Anyway, today I visited the Teppanyaki restaurant Yamamami on the 22nd floor of Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo. I made a reservation for 11:30 for lunch. Due to the earthquake, the ingredients may change slightly, so it is conditional on consulting with the chef. I ordered the 4500 yen lunch course, and for the price, the content was quite satisfying. The menu included: Appetizer - Chicken and mushroom terrine, Cold pumpkin soup, Hokkai clam with Shaoxing wine jelly; Today's seafood - Sauteed flatfish; Grilled vegetables - Zucchini and 3 others; Main dish - 100g of beef fillet; Meal - Garlic rice, Mixed grain rice with Hokkaido saury and shio kombu, Red miso soup, Pickles; Dessert - Plate with ice cream and cake, and a choice of black tea or coffee; Additional drinks - 4 beers, red wine, 2 glasses of sake. The total bill for 2 people was just under 20,000 yen, which I found to be quite reasonable. It seems that the price includes consumption tax and service charge.
