Hello everyone, My best friend always decides on the restaurant for our dinner parties because she says it's too much trouble to let the loudest person decide, and this rule applies even to my birthday dinner. So, this year we went to "Le Jantoume" for dinner. As soon as we got out of the taxi, the waiter was already there to welcome us at the entrance of the restaurant located along Route 36. We were seated at a table in the back, and I had already booked the 12,100 yen course. The chef came to greet us and asked if we wanted beef or deer for the main course. Of course, I chose deer. The setting of the cutlery gave a feeling of being in a French restaurant, and I felt excited. But first, I ordered a beer instead of champagne. The first course included paté sandwiches, smoked salmon, and duck, which were all delicious. Then we had lobster salad with celeriac sauce, which was a pleasant surprise. Next was crab galette with Americaine sauce, and it was a perfect match with the white wine recommended by our sommelier friend. After that, we had red snapper with rapeseed sauce, which was cooked perfectly. For the main course, we had roasted deer with red wine sauce, which paired perfectly with the chosen red wine. Finally, for dessert, we had a variety of options from the dessert cart, and we ordered everything. We also had herbal tea with the desserts. The waiter suggested that we take some sweets home, which was a nice touch. Overall, the restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. As we left, the chef even saw us off, which was a nice gesture. It was a satisfying dinner, and I had a great time with my friends. Thank you for the treat, my friends!

I arrived a little early, but the staff came out right away and guided me to my table. I chose Menu A, and for the main course, I selected the red wine-braised beef cheek. It was so tender that I didn't even need a knife. The dessert cart allowed you to choose as many desserts as you like, which was such a luxurious treat! They even served honey and pistachio ice cream. I left feeling completely satisfied, and they even gave me some small sweets to take home. The French restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and the hospitality of the staff was wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I received a 1988 vintage wine from a friend and brought it to the restaurant. I was a little worried that it might have oxidized after over 30 years, but it had a strong acidity and tannins that lingered on the palate. The dishes were consistently impressive, and I was able to enjoy sautéed foie gras after a long time. The ox tail, a main course I have had many times, was delicious as always. Thank you, chef, for the wonderful meal.

I celebrated my naturalization by having lunch at this restaurant. Since I had plans to drive, I toasted with juice. The 4,000 yen lunch was very satisfying! The staff was also very attentive, and I would love to come back for another special occasion ❤︎

I inquired about my healing broken right hand. They were considerate with cutlery and even gave me stamps. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly and relaxed. When I couldn't decide on dessert, they brought me a little bit of each. I was very satisfied.

On a regular evening, my wife and I came to dinner. We walked from a nearby station to the restaurant, where the staff were waiting at the entrance to welcome us and guide us inside. We felt welcomed and the atmosphere made us feel like we were starting an extraordinary time. The dishes, made with seasonal ingredients and carefully crafted sauces, were truly delicious. The venison steak was cooked perfectly and had an elegant flavor. There were 6-7 dessert options to choose from, and my wife was very happy to be able to try a little bit of each and thoroughly enjoyed them. We would definitely like to come back again.

I visited a French restaurant for lunch in Sapporo. In Hokkaido, a place rich in ingredients, there are many famous French restaurants, and this establishment is also a long-standing one. Le Jantyomu. They offer a lunch menu, and on this day, I opted for the most cost-effective 4000 yen course. There were also 7000 yen, 12000 yen courses available, but since it was my first visit and I wanted a smaller portion, I chose the more affordable option. - Amuse-bouche: pate de campagne, smoked salmon, duck - Choice of appetizer (scallops, crab): I chose the scallop poêlé. It was served with a salad of seasonal vegetables, including strawberries. The large scallops paired well with tomato mousse and strawberry sauce. - Crispy sea bream with pumpkin and spinach choux. The portion size was surprisingly generous for a 4000 yen course. - Choice of main course (beef cheek stew, lamb roast): I ordered the beef cheek stew. The incredibly tender cheek meat exceeded 100 grams! The red wine sauce, cumin-infused carrot mousse, and potato mille-feuille were all excellent. - Dessert trolley: I was amazed by the dessert trolley. You could choose as many as you liked. I couldn't resist trying a bit of everything, but I was truly surprised by the amount of dessert that followed. There were options like chocolate cake, Basque cheesecake, tea and apricot mousse, chestnut tart, tarte tatin, crème brûlée, and two types of ice cream. - Petit fours, coffee or tea By the way, we also shared a recommended champagne, which cost 12000 yen per bottle for the three of us. Even with tax included, the pricing was fantastic, and I left completely satisfied with the lunch experience. ♡

Sapporo's long-established French restaurant with a mature clientele. The restaurant was almost full of well-dressed elderly customers. I was able to make a reservation at the last minute, and I was glad because the wine list was extensive. The restaurant has a calm and elegant interior, but there is a relaxed atmosphere without too much tension, making it a comfortable place to relax. The food was classic and delicious, but what stood out the most was the excellent service from all the waitstaff. Even though I didn't have much time this time, I now feel like coming back to enjoy a leisurely time with some good wine from an earlier hour.

The lobster and scallop salad, abalone, and beef fillet steak were tasty, but personally, the mushroom soup cappuccino with foie gras was the best. I was surprised by the aroma of white truffles. The course menu costs 8,470 yen (including tax and service charge) and each portion is large! The main lamb dish was recommended to be eaten by hand. It was refreshing to bite into bone-in meat at a beautiful French restaurant. For dessert, you can choose as many as you like from a dessert cart. I, of course, chose them all! My stomach was about to burst. It's nice to go with a good appetite. The staff's humor and hospitality were also wonderful. A restaurant I want to visit again.

Sapporo's long-established classical French restaurant! I ordered Course A for lunch and every dish was so delicious that I couldn't help but say "delicious!" The appetizer, fish dish, and meat dish were all fantastic. I chose the "Red Wine-Braised Beef Cheek" for my main dish and it was the best I've ever had. The dessert was also a pleasant surprise! The waiter brought all the cakes to the table and said we could choose any or try them all like a cake buffet. Every cake was amazing! I was completely satisfied with the lunch. I visited Gourmet Benefit. It is a traditional French restaurant. While I usually prefer steak as the main course, the steak here was also delicious. I enjoyed being able to choose my favorite cake for dessert. They also offer the option to have the cake cut into smaller pieces.

I enjoyed the extensive wine list and the selection of desserts at a long-established French restaurant in Sapporo! I had been wanting to go for a while, but timing never worked out, and Manbou doesn't serve alcohol, so I finally made it. I was actually interested in a cooking class first, so I almost went there instead, haha. Surprisingly, the restaurant was very close to my home but I had never been there before. When I entered and sat down, the owner chef greeted me, giving the place an authentic French feel. I confirmed with the chef about how the meat was cooked, as I'm not a fan of rare meat. We started with a glass of champagne for a toast, and the amuse-bouche was a casual and easy-to-eat appetizer. Each dish was good, but the salmon lacked a bit of impact in terms of presentation. For the main course, I ordered Hokkaido beef cooked medium, but it seemed a bit more cooked than I expected. The wine was a light vintage Chateauneuf-du-Pape, surprisingly good for the price. The terrine of snow crab and truffle flavor was delicious. The wine list was impressive, with very reasonable prices for such a high-end restaurant. I enjoyed selecting Burgundy and Chateau wines. For dessert, I could choose as much as I wanted from the dessert cart, which was exciting. I chose two, but the table next to me ordered all of them, which was impressive. Personally, I liked the pistachio ice cream. The meal ended with tea, coffee, and a warm feeling when the lights dimmed for a birthday celebration with a birthday cake. It was nice to witness such a heartwarming moment in this classic French restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful meal, I will definitely be back.

I used it for a celebration lunch. The service, presentation, taste, and price were all excellent. I highly recommend it even for those who don't usually go to French restaurants, as you can enjoy wonderful dishes at a reasonable price. I think it's thanks to the high cost performance unique to Hokkaido. I will definitely come back.

The start was delicious! The pate sandwich, duck, and escabeche were all amazing. I want to eat this sandwich every day. The crab flan was also excellent, so fluffy. It's French but hot, so I like it. The ravioli was smooth and juicy, the best! The fish was red snapper, with crispy skin and tender flesh. The steak was a bit difficult to eat rare, so I should have left it to the chef. For dessert, there was a refreshing kiwi and champagne ice cream, I think. The memory is a bit fuzzy. And finally, the moment I've been waiting for! The chef himself pushing the dessert cart out! This moment always gets me excited! There were 6 options that day: creme brulee, chocolate gateau, blueberry tart, coffee bavarois, Basque cheesecake, and lemon tart. All of them were delicious! The best! I love it!

The restaurant has an authentic atmosphere with lovely table settings, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated ambiance. The dessert selection from the dessert trolley was the most anticipated part of the meal, offering a variety of delicious cakes to choose from. Despite feeling overly full from trying all the different desserts, each one was incredibly tasty. Although I didn't drink alcohol on this occasion due to the pandemic, I heard they have a wine list with thousands of options. I would love to visit again for dinner. The chef even escorted me outside when I left, providing excellent service and creating a pleasant dining experience overall.

A hundred famous restaurants ♪ Starting with three kinds of amuse-bouche, herb and salt bread, and rye baguette. Bonito carpaccio with thick and large bonito slices♪ The balsamic acidity is not too strong, and the flavorful sauce is very delicious. The garnish of karasumi is also good. Foie gras crème brûlée with brioche. The foie gras has a rich flavor and is brûlé style. When you dig in with a spoon, it's like a pâté, and the brioche is a great accompaniment. It could have been good even without the brioche. Fish - Kyushu red snapper. The red snapper is surprisingly plump and juicy. French asparagus and sorrel are served, braided together and very appealing. Meat - Beef cheek stewed in red wine. Incredibly tender. The potato mille-feuille is also very delicious. The garnish of butterbur, broccoli, and carrot puree is also good. Modern dessert - pistachio and crushed nuts? The texture is good, and it's refreshing with lime? sorbet at the bottom. I visited a traditional French restaurant as part of the France Restaurant Week event. First of all, the wine selection was overwhelming compared to other restaurants, with a wide range of wines available by age. I chose a white wine from Beaune, which was relatively affordable and delicious. The dishes, including roasted duck, smoked salmon, grilled ayu and sea bream, were cooked perfectly and very tasty. For dessert, a variety of cakes were brought on a cart, including chocolate cake, pumpkin tart, baked cheesecake, and coconut cake, all of which were delicious. However, the downside was that some customers were quite loud, making it difficult to focus on the food. Despite starting late, the restaurant was filled with a group of loud customers, giving off a pub-like atmosphere. I refrained from complaining directly, but since the staff did not address the issue, I think it was a negative aspect considering the restaurant's ambiance.

Opened in 1988, this historic French restaurant offers lunch courses priced at 3500 yen, 6500 yen, and 10000 yen. I chose the 6500 yen course, which included an amuse-bouche, smoked duck, two types of homemade bread, a dish of confit ayu from Wakayama with cucumber sauce and black garlic puree, a French foie gras creme brulee, pan-seared salmon with a paprika and tomato white wine sauce, and a choice of beef steak, roast lamb, roast duck, or ox tail stew for the main course. The ox tail stew was served wrapped in caul fat and had a texture between tender and chewy. The meal ended with fromage blanc with red wine jelly and rhubarb sorbet, as well as a selection of six homemade desserts. I chose the Basque-style cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and black sesame ice cream. The experience was not particularly exciting, but overall enjoyable.
