You can customize it in various ways besides tapioca, but it costs an additional 70 yen, which can add up. It seems like the tapioca boom has faded away, but our family is currently into nata de coco! My daughter mentioned that she preferred the regular milk tea from Gong Cha that she had in Korea. Although my son is also into nata de coco, he couldn't try all the juice options on the Gong Cha menu and had to give up. Upon arriving at Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima, I parked my car in the rooftop parking lot, entered the building, and went down to the second floor using the stairs to find the shop. Upon reaching the shop, I went to the register to check the menu. This time, I ordered the "Samgyetang and Ali Shan Oolong Tea" from the colorful porridge tea set, paid, and waited at a table. After 7-8 minutes, my order was called, and I picked up the Samgyetang and Ali Shan Oolong Tea and placed them on the table. The Samgyetang cup looked small, and it contained steamed chicken, fried onions, pine nuts, and shredded chili peppers. I first tried the porridge, which had a subtle dashi flavor and saltiness, and it was enjoyable even on its own. Mixing the ingredients with the porridge, I finished it quickly. The Ali Shan Oolong Tea had a generous amount and was easy to drink with a mild bitterness and astringency.
